TKO was great! No Complaints!
TKO did an amazing job DJing our wedding! Ted was very professional, quick to respond, and super easy to work with overall. I'm a visual/audio kind of girl so I very much appreciated him inviting us to come see his set up and hear some of the music he plays at weddings. That experience was more than enough to get us to book and day of, we were not disappointed. He did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor. We heard nothing but good things from our guests! -

Absolutely AMAZING!!
My husband and I 10/10 recommend TKO. They we seriously the best DJ ever! Super flexible to our crazy timeline we had and performed perfectly. Every single one of our guests came up to us saying that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been too! It was all thanks to TKO! Almost every single one of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. (except the older generation lol) They provided us with a special lighting package and even came with a smoke machine which was a HUGE hit. They were absolutely amazing could not recommend them more!!! -

Dance the Night Away
Having TKO DJ our wedding was the best decision we could have made. From Ted and his team being so attentive and responsive in emails it was very easy to work with them. TKO brought the absolute life to our dance floor! Our dance floor at our wedding was packed all night long up until our private last dance. Even our older family members were dancing the night away. TKO honored any requests you made and values making a customized playlist that caters to us and our guests. Every single person had the greatest time dancing away to their music! At one point I requested a song and our venue had limited service so, Ed, our main DJ that night ran out of our venue and down the driveway trying to get service to download the song. Ed went way out of his way to make our wedding perfect! Another way TKO went above and beyond is by Ted making a custom mashup of my dad and I’s favorite songs for the father daughter dance. He absolutely blew us away with what he created. We could not have been happier choosing TKO and I hope if you are reading this, then you will choose TKO as well! -

Best DJ Around
Ted was such a blast at our wedding, he fit our vibe of music so perfect! He played all our songs we asked for, and was spot on for our dinner music as well. He guided our wedding processional so smoothly and helped our officiant be set up perfectly! I couldn’t have been happier!! He definitely knew what kind of music to get our guests dancing that’s forsure! That dance floor was packed the entire night!! -

Guests Didn't Leave the Dance Floor!
TKO are wedding geniuses. The energy was through the roof and Ted played all of the hits and MORE to keep the crowd going. I had so many compliments on how amazing the DJ was. Also, we purchased the Photo Booth package and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. The guests had so much fun with the props and we were gifted a photo album at the end of the evening! Ted is incredible - go with TKO! -

50TH Wedding Anniversary 2-26-22
Ted from TKO took care of all of the details for our 50th wedding anniversary from beginning to end. We requested a lot of 'old school' and they didn't disappoint. We didn't worry about a thing all night long. The crowd may have been small, but the DJs (Mike and Tia, along with some assistance from Ed!) kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! We are still receiving compliments six months later. We are happy to recommend TKO to anyone planning an event in the future. Thanks, Ted, Mike, Tia and Ed, for making our 50th a beautiful night! -

Amazing DJ team!
I can not say enough great things about Ted and his team! The music was great, and people were out on the dance floor having a great time all night! They created the perfect atmosphere and party vibe! The guys checked in with me each step of the way so we all knew where we were supposed to be and making sure we didn't need anything. Everything was beyond perfect!
When we first met with Ted, he explained the high quality equipment that he used allowed for great sound while still being able to carry on a conversation with the person next to you. I thought he was crazy, but he demoed it and I was like "we'll see if it sounds like that the day of the wedding." I am pleased to say it did! The music was dance party loud, but at the end of the night I still had my hearing and wasn't horse from having to scream over the music for people to hear me. The quality across the board was fantastic! -

TKO Is the Best in Cleveland
I absolutely recommend TKO for anyone for any event. Brian and Bob DJed for my wedding in July '21 and did a phenomenal job. They nailed every detail. They took care of all of our requests, kept the energy at the perfect level, played great music, and were so easy to work with. Multiple guests complimented them as well.
Ted was also awesome to work with. He was the most responsive vendor we worked with and was super accommodating when we unfortunately had to reschedule for Covid. Everyone at TKO is a rock star.
Can't recommend them enough! -

TKO is 100% the best in the business. Ted and his team are literally the best party starters around. From the minute the dance floor opened my guests and I did not get off the dance floor. He knew how to get all age groups up on the dance floor, the perfect amount of old and new, slow and fast, line dances for all ages. I was the covid bride that sent dozens of emails with questions and concerns, and Ted was extremely responsive and supportive snd so incredibly helpful. I’ve been to multiple weddings and events with them snd the party does not stop. I’ll be booking them for every dj need!-

Above and beyond!!!
Absolutely amazing!! We planned AND re-planned our wedding because of the pandemic, Ted from TKO went above and beyond to make sure our day would be just what we wanted! He went over every small detail with me and even took the time to meet at our new venue once things changed just weeks before our big day! It was difficult to make decisions with all of the ups & downs going on and he made everything so much easier & truly seamless. Aside from making us feel like family, the music and sound for wedding was on point! Brian was our lead DJ and he did a great job!! If we need a DJ again then this is 100% who I'll be contacting! Save yourself the trouble of shopping around and give Ted a call! -

Wedding reception
TKO came highly recommended to us by a DJ friend and they did not disappoint! Ted and his crew made sure that our reception was fun and kept the dance floor packed all night. He was quick to respond to any emails and really followed through on our requests for our party. The uplighting looked amazing and the photo booth was so much fun! Thank you TKO! -

These guys made the reception absolutely wonderful. They were so easy to communicate with when it came to our selections, they were very responsive to certain results, and made sure that everyone had the best time! Ted was great
Ted was the best from start to finish. He kept our night flowing smooth and kept everyone on the dance floor for hours. Their lighting set up made everyone feel comfortable to get out and dance. Wonderful Experience!
TKO was amazing from the initial meeting with Ted to the day off with Brian. They were very flexible with our wants and very professional. Great DJs for a fun, stress free wedding
Recently hired TKO for my wedding in late March at Windows on the River and absolutely loved their service. They were responding at odd hours of the evening and weekends when we asked them questions and helped along the way during our planning. They provided uplighting which looked fantastic as well. We prepared a huge list of songs and they played the right songs at the right time. All of their announcements were spot on and they made the entire wedding very enjoyable and stress free! -

Book noww!
TKO was professional from beginning to end. When planning our wedding my husband and I were very picky about our DJ. A few weddings we have attended in the past there was no one in sight on the dance floor. That was one of my biggest fears as a bride… that no one would have fun and dance the night away. We wanted someone that was familiar with our venue and someone who knew how to “work the crowd”. My husband and I were impressed from the start with TKO. We met Ted at his house in his studio. He is organized, knowledgeable, creative and passionate about his job. During our meeting time Ted gave us a preview of what he and his team offers. The transitions between songs and lighting were flawless. (Made me want to get up and dance right there!) All the members on his team are well seasoned and trained professionals. We could contribute as little or as much as we wanted to our song playlist. During our wedding my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our two DJ’s had everything going smoothly making sure we were on time and kept the dance floor packed! We received so many compliments that night. Many of our friends and family who stayed till the end wanted to keep going! It was seriously one of THE BEST decisions we made in our planning process. My husband and I will FOR SURE be recommending TKO to anyone we know planning a wedding. Thanks again TKO for an awesome night!!!

TKO is AMAZING, our dance floor never looked better
TKO was incredible. From the beginning of booking to the very end, they were so easy to work with. TKO listened to what we wanted, played all the right music, kept the night going to smooth and had people on the dance floor all night long. As a bride you are so worried about if everything is going to run on time and I did not even have to worry once. Ted and his team kept the night and flow of the reception going perfect, they worked so well with our other vendors and I was able to relax and enjoy the night dancing away (which I am so thankful for). TKO goes the extra mile for all their clients. We are Italian and they made sure to find the right versions of every Italian song we wanted to be played. It is examples like that which really shows how genuine and caring these guys are! We received so many compliments about the music and the energy, I couldn't thank TKO or recommend TKO enough. -

TKO kept the party going all night long without alienating any group of people, which is pretty impressive with 200 guests. We used TKO for our wedding DJ this May and they were fantastic. Everything went smoothly -- introductions, toasts, cake cutting, first dance, etc. Most importantly, everyone had so much fun!! Our guests danced the entire night until we had to kick them out -- I think that's the sign of a successful party! :) I also appreciated how professional they were -- there was no cheesy commentary, and Ted was extremely organized leading up to the wedding. He called me to make sure he had all of our song requests correct and to make sure he could pronounce everyone's name in the bridal party. Thank you TKO!! -

TKO DJ'ed for our wedding on 9/10/16. They've DJ'ed at several family weddings on my husband's side throughout the years, so we were already pretty familiar with them when we started planning our own wedding. Ted was very easy to get into contact with throughout the whole planning process and gave us a great price. There was never a moment throughout our reception where the dance floor wasn't packed with people. They're great at what they do and at getting people up on the floor and moving. I'd 100% recommend them! -

Our wedding day was truly magical for us and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Ted and the TKO team was very organized and professional. The ceremony went so smoothly and everyone could hear our every word. Jordan as the MC did such a tasteful job and your team did an amazing job with the dance mix. I’ve never seen so many people of all ages stay on the dance floor until last call. It was crazy - all of our guests were raving about the DJ! TKO has been more than helpful with us in planning our wedding! Ted has been extremely responsive via email or phone and gives you the best price possible for such great service. He even referred me to a photo-booth rental company and stressed that he will handle all of the minor details the day of the wedding. I highly recommend them! I've seen them at other weddings and events and they get everyone on the dance floor! -

We planned our wedding from Boston, so were really pleased when Ted from TKO could skype with us at our convenience... (we had DJ's who could only do that during regular business hours). Our favorite thing on the skype was when Ted did a mock intro bit to our wedding and we felt like we knew exactly what we were hiring. That, combined with his excellent communication throughout, made me feel like I didn't need to worry too much during the planning stage. He had really good prep paperwork for us, with all the music options and slots for what we needed. Then, on the day of, they were perfect! All set up, playing just what we wanted, at the right levels from dinner throughout the evening. They kept me on schedule so that we did all the things at the right time. EVERYONE loved them and they were also great dinner guests!! We had guests from all over the continental US and so many complimented us on the music, specifically. I remember one said she had been to a wedding recently and was so disappointed because there was nothing good to dance to, whereas at ours she barely got off the dance floor! Another couple said we were better than a grand wedding they went to in Scotland. I would recommend them without hesitation. TKO you outdid yourselves! Being a music buff and lover of a good dance party, I searched high and low for DJs in the Cleveland area for our wedding. I contacted about 10 DJs and I am so glad I went with TKO. Ted was great from our first phone call, he was very professional and I knew he wasn't at all that cliche cheesy DJ. He made planning from the Chicago area very easy.
Now on to the actual wedding... WOW, did TKO deliver. I gave them a suggestion of songs for my ceremony and I got SO many compliments on the flow of the music. Cocktail hour and dinner music was also superb. The dance party was on point. The dance floor was packed the entire night and I personally never wanted to leave it! The guests couldn't stop raving about the music. It was exactly what I wanted at my wedding and more! The uplighting added elegance to the room and dance floor effects set the mood for us to party.
And an added bonus, Ted gave me CDs with all the music played!

John and Ed had people on the dance floor all night long! They were highly recommended by many people, as well as our catering site (Brennan's) and we couldn't be more pleased with their attention to detail, musical selections (the age range of our audience was accommodated) and their humor! There wasn't a ton of talk...just great music...and a lot of it!!! I received nothing but compliments in regards to how well they did! All songs that were "must play songs," were played at great points in the night! Music was very important to us and every moment our reception will be remembered! -

We worked with Ted from TKO and had such a wonderful experience. He DJ'd at our wedding and also husband's sisters wedding, which was two months before ours. He did a great job at both weddings! He took the time to know what type of music we liked and was very good about reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor. I am hispanic and my husband is Italian. Ted did a great job of playing both types of music and everyone really enjoyed themselves!
He was professional and communicated with us in a timely manner throughout the whole process.
We would highly recommend Ted and TKO for any of our friends weddings! -

We were extremely happy with our choice to use DJ TKO for our most special day. TKO really made the flow of our wedding reception go flawlessly. Ted & Vince were both absolutely professional the entire night, and the music selection was excellent. We received a lot compliments from our guests for the music and the uplighting. Ted and TKO Entertainment were amazing for our wedding! Ted had us over to his place for an amazing demo, which was so much fun I wanted to dance right then and there! Before the wedding he had a bunch of great questionnaires and music ideas to help us get thinking about what style of music we wanted. The day of our wedding he did ceremony music, reception music, and even a complete second setup at our wedding after-party! The ceremony music sounded great, no issues with sound quality. He got our guests excited for our reception, and really helped the evening flow from introductions to speeches to dances and bouquet/garter toss seamlessly. I didn't feel like I had to stress at all about when we would do what. Ted was always in good spirits, never pressing us, and still got the job done. I can also really appreciate how hard it can be for DJ's to read a crowd and get them going when it comes to dancing. They did a great job getting people on the floor and keeping them there. Plus, their lighting and smoke special effects were so incredible, I was dancing in it the entire time and it felt so awesome! Same thing for our after-party: their lighting effects and great sound made for a great time, I don't think I left the dance floor all night! I am thoroughly impressed how they handled our event, it certainly wasn't the most straight forward with 3 different setups between the ceremony site, reception site, and after-party site. I would definitely recommend others to call up Ted and meet him for a consultation. We felt so excited and confident with TKO after our first meeting, we knew we wouldn't have to stress about it during the wedding. What a fun, professional, and amazing vendor! Thank you TKO!! -

I was referred to TKO by a friend of a friend who also used TKO as their DJ last year. I couldn't have been more pleased with their service. Ted's DJ, John, was so very professional and accommodating. Almost like he was my "wedding planner" for the night of my reception! Ted from TKO was our wedding DJ, and I can't speak highly enough of him and his company. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable during our meetings prior to the big day. I was unsure about using uplighting in our event space. He brought lights with him to a meeting we had prior to the wedding to show us what it would look like. It was classy, subtle, and enhanced the beauty of the evening.
We used an unusual mix of music for our ceremony. He found all the songs, and the transitions were seamless. Based on our suggestions of favorites and styles of music, he played great songs during cocktail hour. When the dancing started, our guests were on the dance floor non-stop! I could not be happier that we were able to book him, and we look forward to using TKO Entertainment again in the future. -

When I did my research for DJ's about 18 months prior to my wedding date, I looked online and had some sketchy people contact me that couldn't even spell my name correctly. They all looked like self-made DJ's and were undercharging by so much, that it seemed suspicious. I was recommended TKO by a friend of mine who recently got married and she told me that her guests couldn't stop raving about her DJ and they kept dancing all night long. I knew that if I wanted a quality night, I needed a DJ that could be the MC and could keep everything organized.
When I met with TKO I was taken away by their professionalism, their years of experience, as well as the actual quality of the equipment. They definitely didn't look like your high school boyfriend with a laptop on a fold-out table. Their sound systems were solid, took up the entire front of the stage, with clean sound that didn't echo throughout the entire room or resonate weirdly. They were even able to demonstrate the dance experience for me by turning their demo room into a club-like atmosphere and showing me what the music would sound like with the appropriate transitions, the fog, and the dance lights!
I booked them!
The day of my wedding was amazing. I had Bob, who took care of everything, lined up the wedding party, took control of the day's events ( which get so hectic) and put me at ease. He made sure we had a great flow of events, and was extremely professional and organized. He took all the requests and kept the guests dancing through midnight! (we started at 6 pm!!) He really had control of the crowd and he kept us all laughing! He was very outgoing, funny, and not cheesy at all! ( which is very important)
I wouldn't pick anyone else!
The bottom line is, you get what you pay for. If someone seems too cheap, or sketchy, then their service probably is. Choosing TKO to DJ my wedding was the best decision ever. -

I am not one to typically write reviews, but as i was planning my wedding i relied SO heavily on the reviews of others, I knew i needed to help out brides who are in the same position i was. Picking a DJ was one of the hardest decisions for me to make. With a photographer, you can view their albums. With a florist, you can see sample bouquets/centerpieces. How can you "sample" a DJ? Well, I am here to tell you we went with a gut instinct and great reviews when choosing TKO. They were absolutely incredible. What i liked best about working with Ted was his confidence. He made me feel at ease that he knew the venue, could read the audience, and would not play any weird line dances unless i requested them. He was laid back yet professional. TKO did an amazing job on my wedding night, I never once left the dance floor. Do yourself a favor and stop your search - call TKO!!! -

I was totally satisfied and a happy bride when all was said and done! Was a bit worried about them having enough space to work with at the reception but Ted set my mind at ease by promptly e-mailing me a layout he designed which worked perfectly. The music choices during everything were perfect, people were dancing to every song! The light show was MAGICAL, it was so cool to see the barn lit up. These guys are not just a table and a laptop, they bring their A-game! Our DJ was John I., he was friendly, professional, courteous and made sure to check in on both myself and my new husband a few times during the evening to see if everything was to our satisfaction. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you soooo much!! -

When a daughter grows up, the most important gift a parent can give her is her Wedding Day. Thank you Ted, for helping make Bridget and Dino's wedding reception perfect. Our TKO DJ, Bob, did an absolutely amazing job. The folks at TKO were always responsive to emails when I had questions and made sure they were on the ball for everything for our wedding reception. They did a great job keeping everything on schedule and keeping the energy up. TKO came highly recommended to us by one of the members in our bridal party. Since my husband and I LOVE to dance and have a good time, it was important to us to have people up on the dance floor the whole night. Our DJs definitely accomplished this and played music that everyone loved. They even took a special request that we had. Literally AMAZING! Ted and his crew are the best in the business! I work at a bridal shop so I know many different vendors, and literally no one comes close to comparing to them. Ted was so helpful with everything! He provided the best music, an awesome light show, and beautiful uplighting, and even a lighted name monogram! We continue to receive the highest compliments from all of our guests about our wedding, and TKO plays a huge role in that! Our guests danced the entire night! One of my best friends used TKO for her wedding in September, and we had the time of our lives. Any event that I have been to that TKO has done has literally been so much fun. I have already highly recommended them to any bride that has walked into my store, and to ALL of my friends! As parents of the bride my husband and I wanted all aspects of the wedding to go off without a hitch. We (parents AND bridal couple) wanted everyone to have a marvelous time and dance the night away. It all happened seamlessly! TKO arranged a novel entry for the large bridal party at the request of the bride and groom, created a special arrangement for the bride and her father AND played everything from requested Irish dancing music to current hits! Every time I looked at the dance floor it was packed! They calmed worries and handled everyone who approached them in a professional manner. My advice to brides and grooms and their parents... HIRE THEM! -

Our wedding was amazing in no small part thanks to Ted and TKO Entertainment. At first my wife and I were reluctant to hire a DJ at all since we had both been to so many weddings where the DJ was cheesy and played the same tired old wedding songs, but we were referred to Ted through some friends of ours and he made us feel instantly comfortable. We gave him a list of songs we wanted and a bigger list of stuff we didn't want and they did an amazing job of accommodating us. The DJ's were professional and friendly and really paid attention to all the small details. They were excellent at reading the mood of the room and adjusting the music on the fly to keep people engaged, and their light and sound system were top notch too. Our wedding was a month ago and we are still getting compliments about it. We all had a wonderful time and much of that is due to the all-around professionalism of TKO. A DJ really can make or break a wedding reception and in retrospect we feel so lucky to have discovered them. I can't overstate that enough and it was truly a bargain. -

The TKO team did a fantastic job of coordinating all the music at our wedding. They had a lot of song suggestion sheets for us to look through when trying to find the perfect song for each event at the reception, and gave us tons of opportunity to tell them exactly what music we did (and did NOT) want played at our reception. Most importantly, they really set the tone for the reception by picking different music for the dinner, special dances, and partying aspects of the evening. They were friendly and outgoing enough to get everyone on the dance floor, and, most importantly didn't have that loud, overbearing feel of many DJs I've seen at other weddings. They made our event classy, fun, and the best party of the year. -

Highly recommend TKO!!! We have been to many weddings and school functions that featured TKO for music needs, and we knew immediately that we would hire them for our wedding. We were not disappointed. TKO lived up to all of the awesome reviews we had read. Ted was great to work with during the planning phase. Jim and Scott were great the night of the wedding. They kept people on the dance floor without being obnoxious about it.
We had requested a lot of a certain musician to be played during the cocktail and dinner hour and that's exactly what they did. Then later in the evening we had a special surprise planned for my grandparents, except as we were announcing it, my grandparents were no where to be found. Jim and Scott played it off like it was no big deal, quickly switched to some dance music to distract everyone and tactfully did the whole thing over a few songs later. I am very thankful that we hired TKO as our DJ service and would gladly recommend them to anyone. -

These guys are awesome! I have been in touch with Ted since about 13 months before the wedding. From the start I felt very comfortable with him! He is very down to earth, friendly, organized and great with getting back to me about anything and everything! He was so patient with me and my fiancé (at the time) and our specific wants! He was willing to have a conversation to put me at ease about what to expect! This really helped me feel better! You could not ask for better DJs! And although they may seem a little pricey they are more than worth it! They are great at entertaining, are wonderful with setting the pace and tone of the reception, and the quality of the music they use is amazing! My brother and best friend used them for their weddings and a family friend used them for her son's bar mitzvah before me, and I was impressed each time! So happy with all they did for me and my husband and our families to make our special day perfect! -

Ted (the owner) and Ed were great! We had many compliments. Up lighting and ceremony was included in our package which isn't always the case even for TKO. They were worth every penny! They catered to our requests and made our guests get up and dance without having to force them on the dance floor. I highly recommend Ted and his crew at TKO. -

They were very accommodating and even made a complete personalized mix for the big day of all the songs we really wanted. They were thorough and cared about what you liked and what you did not like; I has to fill out detailed forms which we carefully reviewed together. They made me feel reassured about their quality of work and their professionalism (no cheesiness).
The DJ we had at our reception was excellent. He was extremely nice and took charge when it was time to line the bridal party up to be announced. He remained professional the whole time and even came up to me throughout the night asking me how it was going and was there anything not played that I really wanted to hear. That stood out to me and I really appreciated their efforts and authenticity!

Great to work with, put up with my crazy singing Grandpa, and did not think I was crazy for wanting "No Requests". Stuck to the playlist, and I was not disappointed. There were two small snags, the first being when the DJ (not Ted) asked ME for the payment, when I made it clear that the Best Man would be taking care of it. Asking the bride for money is a huge no no in my opinion, and they should be well aware of that. Second, they messed up the timing of our first dance song, which we had taken lessons for, so it was timed to a tee. I told them at exactley what time to start the song, and for some reason it started in the middle of the first verse and almost ruined months worth of lessons. Luckily my husband was determined to pull it off, and we figured out the dance, so it was no big deal. All in all, I would recommend them again, I just wish I would have gotten Ted as my DJ. -

Overall, TKO was a god choice of DJ. They could have played better music at the beginning but overall a good choice..and affordable too! -

TKO kept the dance floor filled. that is what my husband and I wanted - all our family and friends out on the dance floor having an amazing time. -

TKO was great. They have you set up a playlist before the wedding, with a list of DO NOT PLAYS!! This was very important to my husband and I, because we are very picky about our music. They were a lot of fun, and even stayed an extra hour for us to keep the party going!! -

Review by father of the Bride
TKO arrived approximately 1-1/2 hours prior to the reception. I informed the two DJ's that a party tray is provided for them and the other vendors and whenever they would like to eat before they get started, I will have the staff serve them.
I was told by TKO that "we don't eat party trays" I was also told that "we get served hot meals and eat when you eat"
My comment to TKO was "there is a party tray for you and the other vendors and you are welcome to eat whenever you want".
Shortly after our conversation, my two son's (groomsmen) came to me and said my daughter (the Bride) was very upset because TKO came on the limo bus and gave her crap about not getting a hot meal and she (the Bride) was in fear that TKO was angry and would ruin her wedding.
In an effort to calm my daughter’s fears, I ordered hot meals for TKO. I then informed TKO that they will get there hot meals and if they have any other complaints, concerns or request, they are to come to me or the father of the Groom.
This behavior was unprofessional, arrogant and rude.
When you calculate the cost to hire TKO, make sure you include them in your head count, the same way you count your guest.
