  A big Thank You shoutout to Tin Man Sweets for a beautifully decorated Chocolate Peanut Butter birthday cake and assorted cupcakes. Both were delicious and got rave reviews from the crowd and many inquiries about the baker of these delightful treats!!

  A Wonderful Bakery to Work With!

  Tin Man Sweets did an absolutely wonderful job with our wedding cake! The lemon-blueberry caked we picked turned out absolutely delicious, and it was the talk of the reception among our guests. They did a wonderful job coordinating with the reception venue and the florist to ensure our cake turned out exactly as we requested. Also, instead of having to freeze our cake topper for our first anniversary, we get a free mini cake to enjoy! Most importantly, my husband and I loved the fact that they are a locally-owned family bakery. If you’re looking to have a delicious and beautiful cake that your guests will love, Tin Man Sweets is the perfect bakery!

  Great cake!

  We wanted a simple three tiered cake decorated with greens. Tin Man Sweets delivered. My husband and I decided to switch it up and do a peanut butter and chocolate cake (our favorite) and it was a big hit! The cake was delivered to the venue ~1.5 hours before the wedding and set up beautifully!

  Best cake and cupcakes youll ever have

  Justin and Maria really know how to make amazing cakes! My husband is not a cake guy and he devoured his piece and tried stealing mine. He loved the burnt almond tort wedding cake we had. The cakes taste amazing and look great. We had cupcakes and a small wedding cake to cut and it turned out awesome! This is a great family owned shop.

  Justin met with my fiance and I to discuss our vision for our cake. Justin provided multiple options for us to choose from and since we could not decide on just one, we were able to choose 6 different flavors.   Our wedding cake was so delicious and affordable! The staff were so welcoming each time we met with them or spoke on the phone. They added all of our extra decorations to the cake when they delivered it the day of the wedding and everything turned out beautifully! The cake freezes well and our family & friends are still eating it and loving every bite!

They even allowed us to change the cupcake count and allocate the amount paid for a few cookie and lady lock trays for our cookie table.   This place is a HIDDEN GEM!! My brother used them for his wedding and they were so amazing that I didn't even look around when I got engaged. We got cupcakes, cannolis, and a beautiful small cake for cutting. Everyone at the hotel came downstairs in the morning asking where the leftover sweets were. We got way more cupcakes and cannolis than we needed- yet they were ALL GONE by that next morning! SO HELPFUL AND EASY TO WORK WITH!!!! AND SOOOOO AFFORDABLE!!!!!

The shop is owned by a husband and wife team, and they are both so fun and pleasant to work with. Maria is such a talented artist with her cakes. Their cakes and icing are so much better than some of the "big name" places, we were so happy with our choice! And the price was great too!

  Tin Man Sweets did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding. We had the ceremony and reception at Linden Hall. They drove the cake there and it looked beautiful. TMS did a great job walking us through the size we would need, different options, styles, and tastes. They were so kind at the tasting sessions (we had to have 2 as both families could not make the same date) and had all the different combinations we had asked for in cupcake form. The truly best part about TMS is that they put us in the driver's seat- they did not try to force us into something we didn't want, unlike other vendors had tried to. We had a photo of what we wanted and they were able to replicate it perfectly with roses cascading down the side. Better still, they will make us a fresh 1st year anniversary cake so we could enjoy the entire cake and not try to freeze the top part. If you are in the Pittsburgh area, you have to look at this bakery- the cupcakes we tried were better than all the other bakeries!

The cupcakes we tried were absolutely fantastic and the prices are very reasonable for a wedding cake. I enjoyed working with Justin and Maria and they always returned my many emails promptly. Closer to the wedding day I decided to also order a grooms cake for my husband. I provided them with an idea of what I wanted and they certainly used their creativity to make my idea a reality. We are still getting compliments on our cake and I look forward to using TMS for cakes in the future. I love supporting local businesses and will continue to refer people to this one.
