Incredible Wedding flowers!

Tierra events did an incredible job with our flower arrangements. Working with Kiara was great. Since the initial zoom video call to the follow-up calls she ensured that we were able to have the flowers we wanted for our wedding for a reasonable price. We had a 200 person wedding and she was able to share her knowledge on arrangements/table layouts for our wedding. Tierra events offers great prices, and even provides examples and guidance in choosing flowers. On the day of the wedding, Tierra events was punctual at delivering our flowers for the bridal party and to the reception venue. Our wedding tables looked incredible and we highly recommend Tierra events. My husband and I enjoyed working with Tierra events for our wedding.

Beautiful work and super supportive team!

Working with Kiara and the team at Tierra was a breeze, and so worth it! Their florals and design are breathtaking, and as a preferred vendor at my venue Sweeney Barn, they know how to make the space look spectacular. They offered lots of customized options for the space, and I appreciated the detailed brochure that outlined what was possible. Kiara had great suggestions for flower types, colors, and set up, but also really listened to my vision and made it happen. They were flexible when it came to contract updates and requests, and they went above and beyond for us to get us what we dreamed of! Our guests gave us so many compliments about the floral decor, which I think really made our theme come to life. Kiara was also just a very sweet person and hand delivered the bouquets on wedding day, which means a lot. Highly recommend!

Tierra Events is an Excellent Wedding Decor Company in the DMV

Tierra Events is a wonderful floral, decor company to partner with for your wedding decor! Tierra Events provided a beautiful Wooden Arch with a stunning, gorgeous floral arrangement, as well as the centerpieces for the guest tables for our reception, the bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, the boutonnières for the groom and groomsmen and the flower petals for our flower girls. Our theme was whimsical and elegant. My main point of contact was Kiara. Kiara is a sweetheart and a pleasure to work with! If you have inspirational photos for certain wedding decor and florals you have saved on your phone or computer, you are welcome to share them with Tierra Events and they can replicate them and/or recreate them based on the season for certain flowers and your budget.

As advice for future brides and grooms, it will be critical for you know your budget for decor and florals. You will receive an initial quote/proposal based on the items you want Tierra Events to provide for your wedding day, but there is an option to add additional items and/or rentals a couple of months to a few weeks before your wedding day, such as chairs, linens, chargers, etc. We would have loved to have Tierra Events provide more decor for our wedding day, but our limited budget would not allow this.

However, Tierra Events can work with your budget and simplify or enhance your decor based on your budget. I would have LOVED to have had a $10,000-20,000 budget for decor and florals alone, talk about a dream book wedding! However, we were extremely satisfied with the decor that Tierra Events provided with our very humble budget (less than $5,000). I would highly recommend Tierra Events to future brides and grooms to make your wedding day special and memorable!

Great Experience

We had a great experience using Tierra Events as our florist for our wedding. The flowers and chuppah were absolutely gorgeous and the team worked so seamlessly to set up and strike. Fantastic!

I highly recommend Tierra Events because they are fantastic! Kiara listened to my cherry blossom theme vision, our venues requirements for real flowers, and most importantly my budget. They have amazing customer service. This was the only decorating company that took the time to prepare a presentation based on our zoom call and essentially bring my vision to life (so I was at ease way before the event). All the real flowers were beautifully designed (I love my bouquet) with the real candles. And they were able to drape the walls with some twinkling lights behind the bar! Definitely give this place a call and you will be happy you did!

They nailed my Winter Wonderland theme!

Tierra Events is fantastic! They executed my winter wonderland theme wedding beautifully. They came through for me last minute in the planning process and were a LIFESAVER. They were professional from beginning to end. They even replicated my mom's bouquet from 1990 for mine. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have an event. Beautiful Ceremony arch and excellent service

As a covid bride, I had a lot of hard decision to make at teh last minute to keep round 2 of our wedding on time. Tierra events answers the call when I needed a last minute ceremony arch and drapes and greenery for my wedding day. After a few emails and a couple sample photos they delivered the most beautiful decor. I appreciate the effort that went into answering my last minute call and making the day even more beautiful. Kiara was a pleasure to work with and made this process all the less stressful!

Exquisite wedding decor

Tierra events was an excellent vendor from the start. We never experienced trouble in communicating and their demos were beautiful. Check out their social media and you will be able to see the beautiful work they do. The best part of their business and professionalism is an issue we brought up the day before our wedding and their effort and interest in helping us fix it and making it our dream. We are were beyond satisfied with their professionalism but also decor for our wedding. It was better then we would have imagined it to be! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tierra events to anyone looking for a florist !

Exceeded Expectations

I was referred to William Herrera and Tierra Events by Janelle Margolis the Catering Sales from Live Casino Hotel as a possible vendor for our Wedding on Oct. 13, 2018. I contacted William around July 15 and received a response be fore the day ended, which i was surprised by as I expected a response much later than that. I shared the vision of what I wanted for the wedding and William assured me he could work something out. By July 19, William sent a proposal to Janelle and I, we scheduled a meeting at our Venue (The Prime Rib at Maryland Live!) on Aug 13 to review the space and go over the contract. William was on time, professional and made my fiance and I feel like family. He contacted me with the finalized contract for 9 centerpieces, a bridal bouquet and wedding arch and were all set for the demo. Upon arrival at the Tierra events studios on Aug 18, we were greeted with a wonderful set up of our centerpiece and a small bouquet. The entire studio is well decorated with varies drapery and display samples. My mind was blown by the beauty of the whole studio and the size of the centerpiece sample. I was not expecting what I saw. We immediately signed the contract and had no worries. The day of our wedding was magical! William and his team worked like ninjas and delivered my bouquet on time. When I walked in for the ceremony, I was impressed with the size of the bouquets on the arch, I have no idea where to get roses that big. It was as though I was in a fairy tale. When the reception tables were set, the centerpieces blended so well with the tables. Our guests were inquiring about the flowers and were so thrilled to learn they could take some flowers home with them. Honestly, from our inspiration to the reality, William got our vision and took it to another level. We are so grateful he was a huge part of our wedding and would recommend him to anyone for any event. We are looking forward to working with them again for our wedding anniversaries and other events. We are family now and you have set the bar very high for anyone trying to impress us. The flowers are still beautiful almost a week after the wedding, our guests were impressed and inspired. We were blessed to meet and work with William and Tierra Events.

My husband and I were completely blown away when we saw our reception space. William nailed it! I was so in love with our flowers and the decor. We hired Tierra’s for our florals and our event rentals, so my only issue was paying two delivery fees; however, The venue said the delivery team did an amazing job and was very prompt with picking everything up. I highly recommend Tierra’s for anything you need. The price is reasonable, the team is so wonderful to work with and you will love your wedding decor.
I can’t thank William enough for designing my dream wedding!

There are not enough superlatives in the world to express how happy I was with Tierra Events. Tierra had to take over my decor 2 weeks before my event. They were professional, creative, personable, fair priced and created the most beautiful arrangements in a few different sizes. The roses were the fullest flowers I have ever seen. Our guests are still talking about the roses. Plus the lighting and decor was just stunning. I can't wait to work with William and his team again!

I worked with William at Tierra Events for our annual Tribute Dinner, and with great pleasure, I write this recommendation.
William was a pleasure to work with, professional, responsive at all hours, flexible, and creative. I had many changes and updates to my order (Boutonnieres and centerpieces for 1,700 guests), and William was always attentive, pleasant, professional, and tried to help in any way he could. Tierra Events was an excellent choice for my wedding flowers. Due to my last florist being unable to participate in my wedding, I contacted Tierra florist with only 4 weeks until my wedding. I was in a panic, but they eased my nerves and assured me that they'd be able to handle it, even with such short notice. They did an AMAZING job. My floral arrangement were absolutely beautiful. We also go our sweetheart table linens runner from them as well which were really nice. I highly recommend this company for any event, and will definitely use them again in the future.

We are extremely happy with the services provided by William Herrera at Tierrafloral design. He gave us excellent ideas as to how to make a best use of the flowers we were ordering. He decorated the ceremony place with a beautiful arch full of flowers, indirect lighting to make the place glow and outstanding flower balls at the sides. He made the arrangements for all the ten tables at the reception and all of our guests were commenting that the arrangements of flowers with floating candles looked very elegant. He recommended a more economical way to dress the card table as well as the signing book table. The bridal bouquet was magnificent as well as the bridesmaids bouquets. We are very happy to have chosen him to do our services.

Spectacular, breath-taking arrangements. All of the guests loved all of the centerpieces, photobooth backdrop, pipe and drape, and uplighting provided. Guests thought they were transported into a fairytale or movie through Tierra's artistry. They also created a flower wall for our wedding, which is still being talked about to this day. We would not hesitate to recommend them for any special event.

I cannot say enough good things about Tierra Floral Design! I just had them do my August 2016 wedding and from the start they were patient and gave me fantastic recommendations for the main ballroom centerpieces, cocktail table decor, my bouquet/ bridesmaids bouquets and flowers for the church. Everything turned out exactly how I had envisioned and they are so affordable compared to other vendors around the DC/MD area (trust me I did my research!) If you are looking for a vendor to do your flowers I definitely recommend them!

Tierra Floral Design was incredible! William (Andres) met with us to plan the flowers for the ceremony and reception, and make sure we had everything that we wanted. During the consultation, he had a slideshow full of pictures so we could see exactly what we wanted to have to match our wedding colors and venue. On the day of, he was absolutely amazing. He arrived early and met separately with myself and bridesmaids and my husband and groomsmen to give us our flower for the ceremony and worked together with our vendors and coordinator to make the reception beautiful. All the flowers were gorgeous and exactly what we wanted! I was also so amazed by how hard he worked with his crew for clean up; they cleaned up everything so quickly! Andres is also so friendly and kind that he worked well with my family and the vendors. We very highly recommend him; he is the best!

We are so happy that we booked Tierra Floral Design for our wedding! William really made us feel like our event was priority and at the top of his list. He was flexible, responsive, and very easy to work with. Even when we had last minute changes, he was able to accommodate all of our requests. Delightful from start to finish. Working with William and Tierra Floral Design was wonderful. I didn't need nor want a lot of flowers -- I had a stunning venue and was eager for flowers and candlelight to complement, not compete. William was incredibly responsive and flexible. He instantly understood my vision and was no stranger reviewing Pinterest photos. He worked diligently within my budget and clearly signaled when something I requested was above my stated budget. The only thing that topped working with William was the final product itself. Highly recommend!

If there were bonus stars, Tierra Floral Design would deserve all of them. If you're looking for a creative and spectacular company to transform an empty venue into paradise, William can do it. At my last event for 400, between florals, plumage, draping, crystal vases, and LED lighting, a plain ballroom was transformed into what could have been a scene from the Broadway Musical "La Cage Aux Folles" It was absolutely breathtaking and everyone commented and wanted his name. If you want creative, if you want special, and if you want people to gasp, this is the only place to go. He actually created a fantasy that we may not be able to top next time. But He'll try. This was not our first event with Tierra and will certainly not be the last.

We went through looking at so many vendors for decorations, lighting and floral arrangements. When we met with William from Tierra Floral we knew we had finally found the company we wanted to work with. William and Carlos were both so wonderful from the beginning. They took the time to listen to what we wanted and kept everything within our price range which was very important to us. Even if I wanted something that cost more, William worked with us to give us the same look but for a better price. He went to the venue to check it out before hand and made sure what we were asking for could be done. He was very good about updating the prices with us as went back and forth. I knew that on the day of the wedding that I would not have to worry about anything when it came to the decorations, lighting and all the floral arrangements. On the day of the wedding, William and his crew arrived super early to the venue to get started on the set up. Tierra Floral went above and beyond what I had in mind at my reception. I was totally blown away with how elegant and classy everything was and how the ballroom was totally transformed. Everything looked like a fairy tale and was gorgeous! All the guests kept giving us compliments the whole night and even after the wedding on how the ballroom looked like it was a picture taken from a magazine! As we look at our pictures, we are so thankful for the wonderful work Tierra Floral did to make our special day look and feel amazing! Thank you so much! I'd definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone! I did have a few people after the wedding ask me for their name so they can use them in future for various events.

William at Tierra Floral Design took such wonderful care of my wife. She had a very specific idea of what she wanted and William was awesome about helping that vision come to life. The centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, bouquets and Chuppah decorations all turned out perfect. William also provided and decorated the Chuppah, which was beautiful. Not only were the flowers beautiful but it was also a pleasure working with William at Tierra Floral Design! William was able to execute our vision and ideas while keeping in mind our budget. He provided excellent suggestions on every aspect including the chuppah, centerpieces, and bouquets that made our day extra special and beautiful. William was very easy to work with. He quickly responded by phone or email when we had questions. He was also very accommodating. Since our wedding began at 10:30am, William had to arrive at the hotel by 6:30am to set up. Tierra Floral Design was amazing and met my expectations. William was easy to work with. He is located in Maryland and I live in Fairfax. He was flexible on giving me weekend hours to meet with him which was greatly appreciated. When I met with him he took the time to go through floral books, and his own photographic album to show off their work. I pretty much had a good idea of what i wanted when i met with him but seeing the book and their previous work was still helpful to decide on some of the undecided factors like the aisle decor.
He blew me away with my demo arrangements! He literally captured the look i wanted. I had a clear vision of what i wanted - a 50/50 mix of red and purple short arrangements with minimal fillers - William nailed it! It was exactly what I had been envisioning. I was so excited for the reception after seeing my demos.

My Bridal bouquet and my girl's bouquets were also amazing. So bright and vibrant. I received so many compliments on the color combinations and all the flowers (the centerpieces, ceremony decor, bouquets, etc).

At the end of the night William allowed my husband to take some flowers from the big ceremony pieces. This is something so small but was appreciated and the guests Loved getting the extra flowers.

The garden William works with has such amazing inventory. All the flowers were excellent condition. Nothing wilted, nothing drop, all perky and colorful!

I had shopped around before meeting with William. William came in significantly cheaper than a local Fairfax florists. If i remember correctly about $700-$800 dollars cheaper. We ended up having 14 centerpieces, 8 bouquets, 10 boutonnieres, 2 big ceremony pieces, flowers for flower girl, 3 corsages, about 8 tall vases filled with petals and floating candles, flowers for our cake. The total was $2800! I definitely recommend Tierra Floral Design and would work with them again if/when i have another big event!

William did an excellent job with the flowers for our wedding. My bouquet and the reception centerpieces were amazing!!! We really appreciated the flexibility working with us to fit what we wanted in our budget without compromising on the quality! The preview was great so we were able to see exactly how everything would look on that day. As any other bride, I wanted perfection. As a "mature" bride - I knew better than to expect it. What a joy it was to see my vision created not only exactly as I had described, but taken to the next level in ways that I couldn't have even imagined! Our wedding was in our home, William and Juan Carlos came to the house to better understand my aesthetic and measure the spaces. From the garlands and wreath on the front door to the fireplaces to the table centerpieces to the chuppah, collars for the flower dogs and bouquets - it was truly perfection. The price was incredibly reasonable (in fact, my husband kept insisting that they had made a mistake on the estimate!). Tierra Floral Design did the flowers for my wedding and I will never regret it. I worked with William from the beginning to the end of the process. We first met and he listened very patiently my ideas for the flowers arrangements (bouquet, buttoniers, two flower arrangements for the ceremony, and a few other small flower arrangements.) Then we talked on the phone quite a few times to request him a few changes. At the end, they did a great job!! Everyone loved my flowers, specially me! :-) The bouquet looked exactly like the one I had described. Tierra created the temple flower arangements for the service, the table centerpieces for our dinner afterwards and also rose petal table coverings for the guestbook signing area. For dinner we had large round tables for the adults and one long table for the kids. The arrangements were all stunning. In addition, William suggested we use uplighting to transform the space and it was absolutely amazing. The whole effect from the flowers to the lighting was absolutely grogeous. We received a ton of complements on the flowers and the vibe. For our daughter, she didn't want a theme, but she loves flowers and wanted them. So she was very happy! Also, although she wanted flowers, she didn't want the party to be too formal, so William recommended covering the vases with birch bark. We chose that option and it was perfect! I cannot recommend them highly enough. One more thing, when one of the flowers we had decided on did not grow well because of the weather we had over the winter/spring, William let us know in a timely way, provided a suggested alternative, sent me a picture of the flower and even didn't charge us for the extra price. It was truly above and beyond. The whole experience was easy and I knew we would be in good hands and love the flower arrangements. And we did!

We used the Tierra Floral for our annual NYE Signature Event for both florals, décor and lighting. The theme of our event was "Elements" and their expertise and vision took our event to the next level. We gave them the idea for what we were looking for in terms of theme, color and overall feel. We worked with William from Tierra Floral Design for the floral arrangements for our wedding day. We came to the initial consultation with a couple of unique ideas for the centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. William welcomed our ideas with excitement and helped us to select flowers for the arrangements that would be in season. He offered suggestions to make our ideas really pop and the results were absolutely stunning. Simply stated: the flowers at our wedding were breathtaking!

We were drawn to Tierra Floral Design because of their creative arrangements that were delivered weekly to our apartment building. The designs were always fresh, modern, and beautiful. Even my (now) husband remarked about them and he NEVER talks about flowers, so we made an appointment. We worked with William Herrera who helped to stay within our budget and still provided gorgeous bridal party bouquets, church flowers, and centerpieces. We went back and forth with William on the details of the contract, and each time, he was professional and accommodating, wanting to give us something that we would be happy with. Our arrangements were a mixture of roses, orchids, and hydrangeas in various shades of pink and ivory. Our wedding guests were in awe of our centerpieces and commented on the elegance and beauty of them.

We would highly recommend Tierra Floral Design if you are looking for a creative, modern flair to your wedding. Their flower arrangements add a touch of sophistication and creativity that other florists may not offer.

I have nothing but great things to say about Juan Carlos and Tierra Floral Design! He spent a ton of time with my Mother and me as we combed through pictures and designs trying to decide on the perfect centerpieces and alter pieces. His designs were creative and funky and I received many compliments. Juan Carlos was very easy to work with and created exactly what I wanted- even though I wasn’t really sure what I wanted… I knew I wanted the color cranberry and gerbera daisies and he put together bright, fun bundles that really lit up the tables. He made the process so easy and I loved being able to see an example of the centerpieces. We made a couple of tweaks- no problem – and they were fantastic. What a hidden gem in Bethesda. The flowers were absolutely beautiful! Juan Carlos was excellent to work with. He was very responsive from the first day. I told him we were on a budget since our wedding was small and he helped guide me with specific flowers within my color range and created the most beautiful arrangements. Juan and his team are the best! I was one of those brides that walked in with only a basic knowledge of flowers (i.e. roses, hydrangeas, etc.). So, while I knew that I wanted beautiful florals for my big day, I had no real idea of what I actually wanted the centerpieces, bouquets, etc to look like. However, once I told Juan my color scheme, he quickly pulled a concept together and I was blown away. As any bride knows, florals can quickly add up, so I worked with Juan to split my 22-table reception up with some floral and some non-floral centerpieces...both were equally beautiful. I highly recommend this vendor to any bride.

btw...Juan is very patient with his brides. I think I had to add items (centerpieces, placecard decor) to my contract several times and he was very responsive with each instance.

I loved my flowers for my wedding. Juan Carlos did a spectacular job. Beautiful English garden theme with roses and hydrangea. Awesome and dreamy. Centerpieces were gorgeous. Everything was truly outstanding. And Juan Carlos is very easy to work with. My family also just loved the colors and textures he included in all the arrangements.

Flowers turned out beautifully thanks to Juan Carlos! From the very beginning he was on point helping us out and his prices could not be beat. Meeting with him to view a sample bouquet was quick and painless because he mastered what we wanted on the first try. He even ordered us extra bouquets last minute. Flowers arrived on time and unharmed. The shop is small but don't be thrown off by that because it is beautifully decorated inside. All around a pleasant experience, would definitely use them again in the future and recommend to anyone need floral help.

Let me begin by saying that Tierra was my 3rd estimate for my wedding, before I decided to proceed with them. The previous places I went, both very notorious.. I would tell them my budget was $7k, asked that they help me envision my wedding centerpieces, etc.- and they would write me up an estimate for $10-$13k. Huh? I would notice when you're talking to a Florist, they take a good look at the size of your diamond ring (no joke). From there, they estimate what you can afford, not by what you are saying. I hated that. Juan Carlos at TF was the one who stood out to me- he never glanced at my ring! He was very straight forward if something was not in my budget- BUT he would provide what I wanted to give me the same look for less. In the end, he provided the SAME LOOK that the other florists were giving me but for MUCH LESS. He's not there to rip you off. He is in this industry to create that memorable look for you, so that even he can look back and say, "I did that." This guy is talented. He was always available for me. I kept changing my ideas left and right- he was on top of it. I asked him to use his own judgment when he was at the wedding setting up-if something didn't work, I trusted he would either remove it entirely or place it elsewhere. This guy is THE ONE. My centerpieces were over 7ft tall! Enchanting! After the wedding, people were sending me messages about how beautiful my flowers were! I looked back at wedding photos, and I saw Juan Carlos had put petals and roses in places I never requested or expected. He felt it was a nicer look. How lucky am I to have chosen him?! WOW! PERFECT! He really hit the nail on the head when he designed it so that it was beautiful in the end, even if you didn't ask or pay for it. That is a true florist. Someone who didn't walk away when your funds were up, but continued to do the service because he believed in his work! You are the BEST Juan Carlos! I will ALWAYS use your services for any event! THANK YOU!

Juan Carlos & the Tierra Team provided us with beautiful centerpieces and flowers! We went in to Tierra with a few ideas and Juan Carlos told us we could come back at a later date to see the arrangements before the wedding, and he blew us away with how perfect he got everything on the first try (and for a very reasonable price!). They also flawlessly took care of setting everything up the day of, and it all looked wonderful.

The center pieces, the stage and the decor were all perfect. It exceeded my expectations and our guests and family members were in awe of how beautiful everything looked. They had their eyes on the center pieces to ensure that they did take one with them. We received amazing compliments on how beautiful our colors looked and how gorgeous our sitting station appeared.

What a wonderful florist... The Chuppah was just breathtaking, and the reception was a dream come true of flowers and paper lanterns. Juan Carlos took my dreams to the extreme.

Juan Carlos is simply amazing!!! From the very moment my husband and I met him, he was attentive and very patient with us. He was very understanding of our budget and worked with us to bring my visions for our wedding to life! I am so happy we worked with Tierra Floral Design and I would do it all over again! Juan Carlos and his staff at Tierra Floral Design were awesome. The floral arrangements created by Juan Carlos were magnificent as well as stunning. It was the best experience!!! Juan Carlos knew exactly what I wanted and brought my ideas to life. Everything was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend his services. I promise he will not disappoint.

Tierra Floral did a beautiful job for my December wedding at Congressional CC. Juan was always easy to get in contact with and never had to deal with a middle man. He did a fantastic job on complimenting the holiday decor at the venue. He was such a pleasure to work with! The centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous!!!

Tierra Floral provided the flowers for my wedding this past weekend. When I walked into our ceremony and reception rooms I was absolutely stunned!!!! It was more gorgeous than I had even imagined! Juan was amazing to work with. I started planning about a year out so of course I kept changing my mind. He was always very accommodating and very quick to respond to all of my questions. I have been receiving compliments constantly about how gorgeous our centerpieces were. Every aspect from the candles, the bouquets to the centerpieces were just perfect!!!!! I would highly recommend Juan to any future bride. You definitely get your money's worth! This is one aspect of the planning you won't have to worry about. No matter what it will be gorgeous!!! Thank you to Juan and his team for helping make our wedding so beautiful!

Tierra Floral Design did the arrangements for my wedding reception. Everyone was surprised at how beautiful the arrangements were! The colors were the right combination for the theme of my wedding. I was extremely pleased with how the arrangements gave the reception such an elegant yet lively mood. The arrangements for the sweet heart table were just lovely and had that modern look that I wanted. I was very pleased with the service and they were very professional.

I found Tierra Floral Design by searching Google for florists in my area. I then searched for reviews of their recent work and was convinced to make an cosultation appointment based on the glowing reviews I found on the internet. When my mom and I initially met Juan Carlos, the owner of the company, he was very friendly and accommodating. He makes his clients feel special by placing flower petals on the walkway leading to his office. He listened to my ideas, showed me some of his designs, and together we came up with the perfect centerpiece for my wedding. We even had a chance to see the demo of the centerpiece a few weeks after our first appointment. The week prior to the wedding day, I made several changes in my bridal bouquets. I also asked him, again at the last minute, to decorate my ceremony space with candelabras and swag and a customer runner and he accommodated my requets, providing updated estimates quickly and charging fair prices. The end result was a beautiful, romantic ceremony and reception that my guests could not stop talking about. The flowers were absolutely georgeous and they looked just like the demos and photos we discussed! Carlos personally attended to the floral details at my wedding; hand delivering my bouquets and pin bouts to the bridal suite and overseeing the set up at the ceremony. I would highly recommend Tierra Floral Design for their professionalism, beautiful work, and their great customer service. Thank you, Juan Carlos!

Juan Carlos did a fantastic job! Our flowers were even better than I had imagined. I think he had a better idea of what I wanted than I did. I would absolutely recommend him for anyone in the DC area.

Juan Carlos! We loved your designs! BOOK THIS GUY! We used Tierra Floral Design for our wedding reception last October, and Juan Carlos came up with stunning tall and short arrangements, all very woody and using grasses. We wanted a natural feel, and he hit a home run. From my gorgeous demdrobium bouquet with peacock feathers to the spider head mums stuck in the curly willows, the night was absolutely gorgeous and TOTALLY affordable. He also hung 30 paper lanterns from the rafters. It was such a gorgeous set up. Thank you again! Hire this artist!

I came across Tierra Floral Design at The Lansdowne Resort, as my husband and I were looking for a venue for our daughter's wedding, we knew we wanted this florist for our daughter's wedding. Juan Carlos was still working in the ball room and we approached him to tell him how beautiful we thought the flowers looked. He was very pleasant and we definitely wanted his card. Juan Carlos worked within our budget and was very easy to work with and showed us a sample of the flowers that we were going to have for our daughter's special day. On the day of the wedding, the flowers were beautiful and as of today, 11 days after the wedding, I have a centerpiece that is still alive. The Bride and Bridemaids' bouquets were full and beautiful. The pew flowers were a late add, so I didn't know what they going to be like, I just left it up to Juan Carlos and I just loved them. The reception flowers were exactly what we wanted and they really made the room. Everything had a nice finishing touch. I highly recommend Tierra Floral Design.

Juan Carlos @ Tierra Floral was unbelievable. I had received his name as a referral from a friend who is a wedding planner when I asked for names of places that would be able to fit in our smaller budget. Juan Carlos was able to do exactly what I was looking for at exactly the price I could afford. The result was the elegant and simple look I was going for. And one week after our wedding my bouquet is still going strong. I would strongly recommend Tierra Floral and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Juan Carlos is amazing! I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted and he was able to show his previous work and give suggestions based on some vague ideas and color schemes I provided. He even did a preview of what the arrangements would look like which was great. He worked within my budget to create truly magical arrangements and was never pushy or tried to up-sell us. He was on time for all meetings and promptly replied to all of our questions. Him and his staff showed up right on time for setup and breakdown. The arrangements were unique and dramatic but still tasteful and wedding appropriate.

Juan Carlos at Tierra Floral did an amazing job on my wedding flowers! His showroom in Bethesda was modern and comfortable and we talked through my ideas. He pulled pictures of his previous work on a large LCD screen mounted on the wall. Seeing his work in such a large format gave me confidence to put my wedding flowers in his hands. He did a full mock up of my bouquet, the attendent's flowers, and the different centerpieces before the wedding. He was extremely responsive, came within my budget, and exceeded my expectations. His designs for me had a fresh modern twist that I loved! I highly suggest his work to any bride getting married in the DC metro!

Juan Carlos Castillo at Tierra Floral in Bethesda was phenomenal. The flowers were beautiful, and I was so happy that I really turned creative control over to him. My husband and I had ideas of what we liked for colors and a couple of particular flowers, but Juan Carlos really put it all together. My mom's comment to me after the wedding was that one of the things she'll remember most is how vibrant the flowers were against the bridesmaids' dresses. Our centerpieces were beautiful as well, and we took them to Inova Hospital's children's ward the next evening, where they really appreciated them. The price for this area was completely reasonable. This review is awfully overdue, but that's my fault- married life is kind of busy!!!
