Southern Charm and Hospitality

We chose The Winfield Inn for my son and his bride's wedding because of the beauty of the venue, its location & the affordability, not knowing how far and above it would exceed our expectations! Our event took place in late March, which also happened to be Easter Weekend. The blankets of wildflowers in bloom along the Texas highways and in the yards of the quaint little town of Kyle, gave a fragrant and beautiful welcome to our guests. The massive oak trees and sprawling green lawns are the perfect backdrop for an elegant Hill Country wedding. Many of our guests commented on how perfect the size of the venue was for our group of 150; not too big to minimize conversation and fun and not too small so that you are stepping on each other while dancing. Parking is ample and well lit for evening events. The ranch house is decorated with antique furnishings which gave our photographer more than enough spaces and backdrops to use for amazing photos, not to mention the enormous white columns on the front of the home. We felt like we were in Savannah, GA. Our ceremony took place at the gazebo and reception in the pavilion. It doesn't take much to decorate this area because it is naturally so pretty. The Pavilion is gorgeous with its chandeliers in an open-air space. There are plenty of tables and chairs and Jack will set them out according to your preference. Leslie, the owner, is so very friendly and kind to work with. He also allowed our wedding party to stay the night at the Inn before the wedding. This enabled all the girls and guys to have a place to gather together and prepare for the Big Day! The upstairs sunporch is the best part of the house! It was in this enclosed wrap-around porch where my daughter in law and her bridal party were able to use natural lighting for applying makeup and getting the best pictures! We also hosted a sweet bridal brunch there while the girls were getting ready. I highly recommend The Winfield Inn for your wedding! I am hopeful that one of our guests will choose it for their wedding in the future so that I can come back as a guest!

Gorgeous venue for a beautiful wedding

Winfield Inn is the most beautiful venue site and working with the owner, Leslie Moore, was a pleasure. The lawn was immaculately manicured. You get both a historic mansion, an outdoor pavilion, and incredible grounds to have your wedding. We got married under the oak trees and it was everything we had ever dreamed of.

Rare find / wonderful staff

My Fiancé and I thought this venue was gorgeous and the intimate setting was hard to beat and the owner seemed to be very passionate delivering a memorable wedding experience. We ended up at a different venue but highly highly recommend checking this one out!!

Beautiful, romantic and unique venue

We had planned to hold our wedding at the Winfield Inn in April 2020. While we unfortunately had to cancel the event due to COVID, we worked with Leslie and Maddie for a year to plan what we are certain would have been a beautiful event, and they made it a wonderful experience from start to finish. The grounds are stunning, the catering (from our taste test with Word of Mouth) is absolutely delicious, pricing is incredibly reasonable, and the team is extremely professional and easy to work with. Most of all, we loved how unique the location was and how flexible and open Leslie was to all our suggestions. He could not have been more accommodating, creative and eager to personalize our event. Also, as out-of-towners, Leslie and Maddie's many years of experience and deep connection to the community made the wedding planning process smooth even from afar. We hope to return for an anniversary party some day, because it is truly a special location.

South Austin Dream!

I was absolutely amazed at the Winfield Inn! Maddie and Leslie have been wonderful and not pushy at all. They are super unassuming and truly want people to just enjoy their property. Leslie even said he wasn't trying to run a "wedding factory", which I really appreciated. The house is incredible and the oak trees surrounding the 33 acres are indescribable. My fiance and I are beyond thrilled to be getting married at this magical place!

I had my wedding at the Winfield Inn and it was amazing!! The food from Word of Mouth catering is out of this world. You can't go wrong with any of the food options. Also, the reception, getting ready space, and ceremony areas are so beautiful. I highly recommend this venue!

We toured quite a few venues for our wedding but immediately fell in love with The Winfield and knew that's where we wanted to get married. We are so happy we picked such a beautiful place. It was chilly for our wedding day but we rented heaters and had the walls put up on the garden ballroom. We didn't even notice the cold! The Winfield ladies were so accommodating with all of our questions, requests, and changes and always replied within 24 hours, which was amazing! They helped coordinate the wedding rehearsal the day before and the wedding itself. We even got to enjoy the meal (which everyone warns you will not) because Laura brought us plates while the guests were in the buffet line. It was hands down the best experience and we wouldn't have changed a thing. I highly recommend The Winfield for your big day!

Our review is twofold: one for the Winfield Inn as a venue and one for its amazing coordinators, Laura and Bre. The overall atmosphere of the Winfield Inn is what sold us on booking it for our wedding venue. The grounds are stunning and offer versatility in where to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception set up. Additionally, getting ready in the bridal suite and groom’s quarters was a HUGE added bonus for us. Plus, our first look photos taken on the breathtaking upstairs patio overlooking the grounds was more than anything we could have asked for. Laura and Bre made the entire wedding planning process utterly painless. They answered our (MANY) emails from the moment we booked the Winfield Inn up until the day before the wedding. Laura and Bre were fantastic at listening to our ideas and requests, accommodating them to the best of their abilities, and offering feedback and suggestions to things they thought might be more feasible. They truly helped us transform our vision into a beautiful reality. During our ceremony there was an unexpected rainshower and Laura and Bre were able to adapt to the situation and transition our guests into a seamless, on-the-spot rain plan. We chose to utilize their expertise for our rehearsal and day of coordination and we were not disappointed. From start to finish our event was flawless and stress free. If you are looking for a beautiful venue capable of accommodating a large crowd and a fun, genuine, and hard working staff then the Winfield Inn is your place—you will not be disappointed.

OVER THE TOP!!!! Laura and her "gang" were amazing to work with. Our guests couldn't say enough about the venue - its beauty is breathtaking! From our 1st visit back in January - rainy & cold - to our glorious wedding night - dealing with the Winfield Inn was a sheer joy. Laura has the best disposition - always smiling - extremely professional and very patient. She is quick to respond to all emails, phone calls, etc. and treats you as if you were her ONLY client. I can't say enough about the Winfield Inn and all of their staff.

I don't even know where to begin! Laura and her team at The Winfield Inn made the stressful and, at times, incredibly daunting task of planning a wedding enjoyable and stress-free. This venue is so unique in that there are multiple ceremony sites, a house straight out of the movie "The Notebook", a reception venue fit for a queen and an ambiance that is unlike anything I have ever seen. Laura and her incredible patience had a photogenic memory, quick e-mail response times and a calming nature that made even the most OCD bride (me) feel at ease. If I were to get married again (which hopefully I do not), I wouldn't hesitate to choose The Winfieild Inn as my wedding venue. This place is a hidden gem tucked away in the beautiful hill country. And not to mention, the little town of Kyle is pretty darn cute. The Winfield Inn is the perfect place to have the best day of your life.

*Post Wedding Update*

I cannot express my gratitude enough to the team at The Winfield Inn. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect and went off without a hitch. I didn't have to worry about whether or not things were getting done and was able to relax while getting ready, enjoy the time with my bridesmaids before walking down the isle. The coordination of all vendors was smooth and effortless. My Mom and I had given direction prior to the wedding of how we wanted certain decor items and were able to let the team handle it without overseeing it the day of. Despite the terrible weather from hurricane Patricia, Meg and her assistants were calm and collected, which put me at ease knowing that if Plan B had to be used, everything would be ok. Luckily the rain stopped on our wedding day and everything went as planned. Our guests raved about the food! We opted for the serving line and several guests said they went back for seconds! I am extremely happy and more than satisfied by the professionalism and support I received from The Winfield Inn. I couldn't have asked for a better venue and staff to help make this the most special day. Thank you, girls - you really outdid yourselves!

Fantastic service! I chose The Winfield Inn based off of their quick response to my email to set up an appointment. Laura called me as soon as she received the email to discuss my dream wedding. After we hung up, I received an email back with a proposal. I immediately canceled my other appointments and booked The Winfield Inn sight unseen! Everyone I have been in communication with has been very helpful and always willing to respond to emails right away, take my calls and make time for me to stop by when I fly in from California. I cannot wait for my wedding in October!

The property itself was gorgeous and was what initially sold us. They have many oak trees that provide beauty and shade. The house was so classy, with the southern porch on the 1st floor and the enclosed sun porch on the 2nd floor (beautiful for photo shoots). The house gave a vintage feel with the furniture and so elegant. The bridal suite was insane. On top of the bedroom and bathroom, there was part of the enclosed porch that had perfect lighting for hair and makeup. It was so chic and girly and definitely set me into the mood of being a bride! The staff was the best part. They were so professional and flexible, responding to emails within 24 hours. They were genuinely excited for my wedding and always has smiles on their faces. Although I'm sure they were planning many other weddings, they made me feel as if I was their only client. They put up and took down all the decorations I brought for them, kept checking in on my during the day-updating me on which vendors had arrived, the timeline, etc. I cannot thank The Winfield Inn enough, they were fantastic. Worth every penny!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! If I could give the Winfield Inn a million stars, I would. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous venue or the amazing staff who make every step of the planning process so smooth. We live in NYC and planned our entire wedding from out of town, so after seeing (and falling in love with) this venue once, almost a year and a half before our wedding, we did everything else remotely, and I absolutely cannot imagine having pulled this off without the incredible help and support of Meg, Laura, and the entire staff. First, let me address the venue itself: it is simply stunning. My husband (husband! eee! we are newlyweds and it is very exciting) and I checked out about 10 different venues in the Austin area before seeing the Winfield Inn. The second we stepped foot onto the property, we fell in love with it. We almost hadn't gone to visit because I had assumed that it would cost too much, but it turned out that after taking everything into account (make sure to do an apples-to-apples comparison while you're comparing venues! it's not just about the venue cost -- you have to take into account everything else, including servers and bartenders, tables & chairs, linens, setup & breakdown, taxes, tips, etc.), this was very much within our price range, which was a wonderful realization. The venue itself is absolutely GORGEOUS -- from the sprawling grounds to the house where you'll get ready, everything feels like it's straight out of a fairy tale. And the second piece of what makes the Winfield Inn so incredible, which I cannot overstate -- THE STAFF! Meg, Laura, and everyone who works at the Winfield Inn just go above and beyond at every turn to be helpful and to ensure that your wedding day will be beautiful. Our wedding at the Winfield was amazing.

We worked with Laura for about 10 months planning the wedding. She was always quick to reply to any questions. If she was out of the office Meg would always step in to take care of our questions. We used the Winfield for catering (which is required), the cake, an outdoor ceremony and the reception under the pavilion.

The food was great. We opted to do food not on their menu and they were able to make exactly what we wanted. For the cocktail hour, there were passed appetizers that everyone loved. There were always enough. The staff even made sure to come by us (bride/groom) with some to make sure we were eating. We also did various cupcake flavors and they were all delicious - everyone commented on them.

I (bride) opted to stay the night before the wedding at the Winfield and it was a great choice. The house is fun to stay in, the breakfast in the morning is amazing, and then I got to just lounge around and relax before the wedding. There was no rushing around trying to get things done.

We also paid the extra money for Laura to be our day of coordinator. This was more than worth it! She dealt with all problems that came up, took care of making sure vendors were paid/fed, made sure the tables were set up as requested, and made sure I had everything I needed. We forgot to bring some Prosecco to drink while we were getting ready and she got some champagne for us from her office. All we had to do at our wedding was focus on having fun.

Our total did end up being more than the original estimate, but that was because of choices we made (such as added a second bar tended and the cupcakes). We never felt pressured by Laura to add more just so the Winfield could get more money. For how amazing our day was and everything we got, it was worth every penny.

Everything about The Winfield Inn, was the perfect choice for our wedding. From the moment my husband and I walked onto the grounds, we fell in love. Laura who is the event planner, is the nicest person on the planet, she responds to emails, puts together budgets, and makes last minute changes, within hours!! The day of was absolutely incredible, with a more than accommodating and friendly staff, making you feel more like family and friends than a customer.

The food was excellent, the hotel and hotel grounds are gorgeous, and the staff every single last one of them was absolutely amazing!!! We wouldn't have had it any other way. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything!!

I recently planned my sister's wedding, and she chose The Winfield Inn for her special day! I cannot say enough about this amazing venue! There are many things that are out of your control on your wedding day, and the beautiful weather only added to the magical evening that made my sister's day so special!

The food, the service, the venue itself....everything was perfect! Our guests were in awe of every single detail that night. We had several people comment on the amount of money that we must have spent to have such an extravagant night, but the quality that you get for your money with The Winfield is not what you may think! The rates are reasonable, and the service that you get for your money is worth every penny. The staff was attentive to every single detail, and they came through on the last minute "fixes" that are needed at every wedding. Having an in-house coordinator was a huge perk, and the team could not have been better!!

The online pictures don't do this venue justice! Take your time to drive to Kyle, Texas!! You will honestly feel like you stepped into a different place in time. A lovely, quiet, romantic venue is sitting just off IH-35, and your guests will never expect it! Can't recommend it enough!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Winfield Events! They handled all my food and rentals for my special day and everything ran flawlessly. The food was absolutely amazing and their staff was so sweet and professional. Even eight months after the wedding, I am still having friends and family express how great the food and service were. I am beyond grateful that I found this hidden gem! From the moment I stepped foot at the Winfield Inn I know that not only would my wedding be beautiful, but it would also be less stressful with their unbelievable staff and I was exactly right! From the numerous emails of the detail planning to the tedious hours of the actual day the staff was always quick to respond and do whatever it takes to make sure every detail was exactly the way I imagined it! I literally did not have to worry about one detail that day! It was so nice being able to focus on marrying my husband and not on all the details. This place is absolutely AMAZING! The venue itself is gorgeous....the house, the trees, the landscaping.. it's just plain beautiful and well kept. I fell in love with this place the second I saw it and knew it was the perfect place for our big day! Now I have to brag about the staff! April is phenomenal! She was so extremely helpful with any and everything we asked of her! My situation was a little tough because I was living out of state so she was dealing with my mom, my mother in law and myself on a separate basis. She was so quick in responding and very, very knowledgable about the venue, vendors and timeline of events! Her staff was also extremely helpful and polite. I could go on and on about this venue and its staff. I would 110% recommend The Winfield Inn to any future brides!

I don't even know where to start...We are fresh off of our wedding weekend - And still on a total high! I can not even begin to count the number of times I raved to our guests about how fantastic our experience was with TWI and that I shared "I would have my wedding here again in a heartbeat!"

My husband and I live in Dallas. We chose to have a Hill Country wedding in Kyle because it is our "special place." We've visited a local bed and breakfast in Kyle many times over the years and cherish the relaxed vibe we get when in Hill Country. We wanted an equally comfortable feel for our wedding and were looking for a wedding venue that could convey this and share the awesomeness of Hill Country to our (mostly) out of state guests.

We had a long list of venues to visit, but TWI was only our second stop in wedding venue visits - that was all we needed! We didn't even bother continuing down the list. The beauty of TWI took our breath away. You get so much bang for your buck by having a wedding here and the attention given to us from the staff was priceless. TWI has EVERYTHING for you: gorgeous grounds, covered ceremony options in case of rain (so you don't have to worry about renting tents ($$$)), tables, chair, glass and place settings, linens, in-house catering, in-house wait staff and bartenders, day-off coordinators (included in our rate), loads of decor items that you can borrow, gorgeous bridal/groom suites...the list goes on and on and on....And did I mention it's BYOB??

Do not go through the hassle of having a wedding at a place where you have to rent all of the items listed above separately. You will go CRAZY! Make it easy on yourself. Have an event at TWI and you won't regret it...I promise!! For a Dallas bride planning a wedding 4 hours away, I never expected to go into my wedding weekend so relaxed - It has everything to do with TWI (and a loving husband and family ;)).

My husband and I look back on our wedding day and think about how smooth it went, and we wouldn't have changed anything. We had Jacki as our coordinator, she was incredible, and the rest of the staff was helpful when we needed something and couldn't reach Jacki. We are so thankful that we found The Winfield Inn. It allowed us to enjoy our day without any worries. We highly recommend this venue because of the added help included so they can worry about all of the vendors arriving. I put all my trust into the Winfield staff the day of the wedding, and had no idea of anything going on outside of that beautiful home. Our friends and family still comment about how beautiful the property is and the food was delicious!

I absolutely loved working with the girls at the Winfield Inn! They were with me every step of the way. Everyone was very helpful and calls/e-mails were always returned right away. They made my dream wedding turn into a reality! I couldn't have been more pleased. It was great to spend the night at the venue the night before with my bridesmaids. The Winfield Inn was marvelous. They were kind, patient, and excited for us! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, exactly as requested (or if I didn't have a preference and asked them to "make it pretty" they did so exactly in line with the tastes and themes of the wedding.) My wedding day was honestly the most perfect day of my life and I know a lot of that was due to the staff and service at The Winfield Inn.

It was the most beautiful place EVER! I had looked at over a dozen of places and I knew this was the one the minute we pulled up. The kindest & most compassionate people work there. i just got married at the winfield last weekend, and don't want to wait another minute to write a review to say how fantastic this place is -- and the ladies who work there are just TOO wonderful to be described!!

my fiance' and i looked around for a location near austin that was big enough for our large wedding. we compared the winfield to several other local places and eventually narrowed it down to the winfield and one other. we called both to understand the pricing, and the winfield was HALF THE COST of the other, just because everything's included in your quoted price -- no add-on fees for serving alcohol, having a dance floor, etc. we couldn't believe the difference!! and since i lived out of town at the time, i sent my fiance' over to check out the place in person. he LOVED it, and was so impressed with april and her team that he booked it on the spot. we were SO excited to see that it is truly as lovely and magical in person as it appeared online!!

now, let me just say -- april and her team are amazing. morgan was our lead intern the night of our wedding, and in addition to having april and morgan on point the whole time, they also had 2 interns and another coordinator there to help manage everything during the wedding. we felt in SUCH good hands on the day -- they took wonderful care of us. my now-husband noted that every time he turned around, one of the winfield girls was nearby, making sure we knew next steps as needed, so that everything ran perfectly smoothly.

but in addition to how fabulous they are managing the day of the wedding -- they ALSO are fantastic resources for EVERYTHING you'd EVER want to know about planning a wedding!! they can recommend a vendor for anything you'd ever want, and they have an answer or suggestion for any question you ask. . . and believe me, we had PLENTY of questions during the year leading up to our wedding! they were patient, responsive, and truly godsends.

The Winfield Inn offered everything that we needed for our big day. We booked our date in 20 months before and they walked us through the entire planning process.

Food: I knew that I wanted to have peach waffles and bacon on my wedding day and the staff never hesitated to make that come true. They put together an amazing breakfast for dinner menu that I wish I could eat every day. 2 months before our big day, The Winfield Inn invited us up for a date night to taste our menu and ensure that it was what we wanted. It was such a nice, relaxing evening which allowed us to taste all the amazing food we planned for our guests.

Planning: The wedding planners at the Winfield Inn took care of every detail of the set up and order of the day. They took care of the linens, plates, chairs, and all the other small details. When we arrived before the wedding day with the small decorations, our planner set them out and made the ceremony and reception areas look beautiful.

Overall, the Winfield Inn was an amazing choice that I would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor venue.

The Winfield Inn, is the easiest venue I have ever worked with, this was my sons wedding. I have done many events at mutiple venues, but by far this venue was the best, their staff was so easy and your wish was their command. It was like fairies descended and helped you transform you event to what you want. APRIL, AMANDA are THE BEST!!! I have never never been to a place were they want to make you event so special, and stress free!!! The venue was so beautiful!! My friends and sons friends would come and are still coming to emphatically say THAT WAS THE BEST WEDDING EVER!!!!Thanks again for making it a magical rehearsal and wedding!

I could not be more pleased with the excellent service that Winfield Inn gave us recently on our son's rental items for his wedding at Texas Old Town. They provided all china, all glassware, some linens and a few smaller tables. April and her team were very responsive to our requests all during the planning process, flexible on timing of drop-offs, and available to add items last minute on the day of as well. They have beautiful items from which to choose, but most of all they were professional in revising bids and allowing us to make multiple changes as our wedding grew. Thank you Winfield Inn. I highly recommend!

We can't say enough wonderful things about The Winfield Inn. Everyone we came in contact with throughout the process were helpful and sincere. Their customer service is impeccable. They are very responsive, and there is always service with a smile. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The home is a wonderful place to get ready at as well as stay in the evening before or of the wedding. The food is delicious...with so many options. It is truly a one-stop shop and very little additional decor(ations) are needed.

One of the primary differentiators is the ability to bring in your own alcohol, which we felt reduced the cost tremendously of the event when comparing to other venues.

Our other vendors like working with/at The Winfield Inn, so I think that also is a great testimony to the venue and staff.

All of our guests keep saying "We don't think it could have gone any better!"

Robyn was our coordinator, but we had contact with everyone over the process, and again, nothing but positive feedback. I never knew Robyn was there the entire evening, but that's because she made sure everything ran so smoothly the entire everning so I didn't need to find her! I have a cute little video of Robyn holding my niece's hand walking down the aisle and Robyn guided her perfectly and then let her go just at the right time for a flawless transition (my niece could not get enough of Robyn!).

I can't gush enough about the Winfield Inn. From the very beginning, Robyn, April and Jackie were there for anything I needed, from questions to updated estimates. On the day of my wedding, I didn't have to think about anything except how excited I was to be getting married.
Our guests have not stopped complimenting the house, grounds, the reception site, and the food (all of which get two thumbs up in my book too). It's natural, beautiful, well kept and peaceful. My husband and dad both commented on how they only noticed Robyn and her staff when they needed something. The staff were unobtrusive but always there to help with each step, keeping our party running smoothly, keeping us well fed and having a ball. I am so blessed to have had the chance to be married in such a beautiful spot, and I can't thank the team at the Winfield for making my wedding a complete and total dream.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Winfield Inn in May 2012. We had such a great experience with Winfield in every possible way. April, Robyn, and the team were wonderful to work with. We were planning our wedding from NYC, so we really relied on their help. They were extremely responsive to all of our requests -- they never went more than a day before calling or emailing us back, and they went above and beyond with our requests. We contacted them perhaps an excessive number of times with questions, and they never made us feel like we were imposing and were always so willing to be helpful. For example, we had a band we were interested in from Dallas that we didn't know much about, and the Winfield team called the band for us, sought out references, and helped us get the information we needed to make a decision (and the band turned out to be amazing!). They even helped us pick out locations for our rehearsal dinner and for brunch with our guests. They also provided a lot of recommendations for vendors that they had worked with previously, and we used several of those vendors, all of whom turned out to be wonderful. They really made our wedding as stress-free as possible. The day of the wedding, they really took charge, worked with all of our vendors directly to get things set up, and made sure things were running smoothly throughout the day/night -- it made the experience so easy for us. The food was also amazing and definitely not your standard wedding fare. The whole atmosphere of the venue is really so special too. The house and grounds are gorgeous, and when the sun goes down they have really beautiful lighting that makes everything look truly stunning. We can't recommend the Winfield Inn highly enough!

As the mother- of- the- bride, I want to give a huge thanks for a job well- done to the Winfield Inn in Kyle, Texas!!! Robin S. and the rest of the staff took care of every detail to ensure that my daughter's wedding was a beautiful, memorable event! So many of the guests told me they experienced what it must feel like to be in the middle of a fairy tale, and I could not agree more! I am so thankful for the professionalism of the entire Winfield crew. I would highly recommend this facility to any bride wanting to feel like Cinderella when she marries her Prince Charming!!

From the moment my now husband and I set toured the Winfield Inn, we knew it fit perfectly with our vision for our wedding. Robin and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, answering any and all questions promptly and giving fabulous advice when needed. Although all the options can be overwhelming at times, Robin worked with us to create the perfect menu and ambiance for our celebration.

This venue does require you utilize their on-site caterer but the food and service is totally worth it! We received countless compliments on the taste and quality of our reception dinner, and their chef can make any culinary dream a reality. Robin and her team were so involved in our planning process that when I arrived on my wedding day, late and flustered, they were able to take over the decor set up and I didn't have to worry one bit. All the decor turned out exactly as I envisioned and it gave me such a peace of mind to know that our event was in good hands.

We had the freedom to bring in our own vendors, although the Winfield offers a helpful list of preferred vendors should you need a little advice. From the preliminary planning emails to checks-in and our tasting appointment, Robin was there listening to our wants, asking the questions we didn't think of and helping us put together the celebration of our dreams. Even though all the linens and flatware can add up quickly, the Winfield is completely flexible and willing to help you put together an event within almost any budget.

Looking back, my husband and I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding. Working with a venue that provides a wedding planner, as well as takes the stress out of finding a talented caterer, made our planning process less stressful and even enjoyable! The level of service Robin and her colleagues offered was simply above and beyond. You simply can't go wrong with the Winfield Inn!

Choosing the Winfield Inn was the best decision I made for my entire wedding... ok second to marrying my husband. The girls at The Winfield made my life sooo much easier during the whole planning process, I went with their suggestions on everything from where to find the dress I was looking for to amazing vendors for cake and flowers. I worked mostly with Robyn and she was so great at making me feel at ease. She was also good at sending me reminder emails which was very helpful because I am a grad-student who had to take summer classes before the wedding. The Winfield was running a special for August in which we got to stay the whole weekend for the price of a Saturday wedding. My bridesmaids and I stayed Friday night after the rehearsal dinner and the Winfield made us a delicious brunch Saturday morning. We had hair and makeup come out to the Winfield soo getting ready was so peaceful, it was such a nice feeling to sit there, looking over the site watching chairs set up and lights being hung, and not doing a bit of it yourself. The ceremony and reception ran smoothly thanks to the Winfield girls. The food was awesome and we had tons of compliments from our guests. The site is so beautiful on its own it needed little decoration to be the backdrop to our beautiful night.

If I could rate the Winfield at 5++ stars I would! From when my then-fiance and I were scouting places for ceremony and reception to the day after our wedding, we just loved the Winfield and the staff there. You are truly made to feel like family and that anything and everything you want or need is possible. The quality of the service provided was extremely high - and I didn't have a huge wedding! April, Robin, and the rest of the ladies were always quick to respond to email, phone calls, and even follow up from our visits. Having delectable on-site catering - including cake! - was a great asset and only made better by how delicious the food that Chef Matt creates. We had rain the entire morning and early afternoon before our ceremony, but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits. The Winfield checked in with me about time frames and if I was okay with waiting for my first choice (outside under the kissing trees) or sticking with Plan B in the garden ballroom. We waited and the sun came out and we had the most perfect weather after that. I'm sure there was some scrambling to get everything set up, but that never showed from any of the staff. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better experience and we would recommend the Winfield Inn to anyone looking for a stress-free, value-packed, beautiful wedding OR event.

April at the Winfield Inn is THE GREATEST PERSON EVER!! She took all the stress off of my wife and I. She got everything done just as we wanted. She made everything go off without a hitch. It's hard to even write a review because with the service and professionalism she brought with her team I was at a loss for words. We weren't going to use a planner at first, but my parents got it as a wedding gift and if they hadn't I would have gone back and booked her myself. Very enthusiastic and there to make the day all about you so you can focus on each other and your guests.

My fiance and I stopped looking for a wedding venue as soon as we toured The Winfield Inn. It was breathtakingly beautiful to us - large oak trees, blooming flowers, gorgeous lawns, stately mansion. More importantly though, was the amazing staff that works there. Included in the cost of the Winfield Inn was wedding coordinating services. April was our coordinator and was always available to help with whatever question we had, always timely with her responses, always calming my nerves. Our wedding was so enjoyable because April and the staff at The Winfield Inn had everything covered - food, decorating, directing everyone where they needed to go/be, and generally looking out for the bride/groom's best interest. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone getting married or having a special event!!!

The Winfield Inn was, without a doubt, the perfect place to get married. Robyn, April, and Jackie were all so wonderful and supportive.

My partner and I live clear across the country, and I can't adequately describe what a relief it was knowing they had everything under control. Since we couldn't come visit in person very often, Robyn communicated with us via email (with very quick responses). She was fantastic! She must have listened to so many brides talk about so many weddings, but she still had so much enthusiasm for every one of our ridiculous ideas. I so appreciated that!

Our layout meeting went so smoothly, and Robyn set my mom (and right-hand planning lady) and myself so at ease. She walked us through everything and made sure we were all on the same page.

After our tasting, I was SO excited about the food. SO delicious! I wish I could have taken every single leftover home from the wedding! There were quite a few compliments on the food (even from a picky-eating little nephew)!

And the day of the wedding, itself. They had absolutely everything under control. It was FANTASTIC being able to let go and know this crack team was so on it. I can't believe how many compliments we got on how smoothly the day went.

The Winfield Inn was the first venue we toured, and every venue we saw after that just couldn't stand up to it! We had our ceremony on-site at the gazebo, and reception in the Garden Ballroom - everything was so beautiful and romantic! If you are looking for an outdoor venue, these grounds cannot be beat, they are very well manicured and gorgeous.

I had the pleasure of working with April, Robyn, and Jacki beforehand in person and email - they have great communication between each other - and they are all usually very quick to respond. They always answered all my questions and made great suggestions. They were very accommodating, I don't know how I could have put everything together day of without them. Everything looked gorgeous, they did a fantastic job setting up all the decorations I brought. My mother was especially pleased - she kept hearing stories from her friends who slaved away the day before and day-of during their kids' weddings, she was thrilled to not have to worry about all of that and got to enjoy spending time with me and the rest of our family. April also stepped in last minute to help us find a new rehearsal dinner venue when our original one fell through the Tuesday before the wedding, she was a lifesaver!

And the food was amazing! I have to say we didn't consider it a huge priority when we first started planning, but after our tasting (which was also such a fun night) I was excited about serving their food, I would eat that salad everyday if I could! We did a buffet style and everyone was served quickly. We received so many complements on the quality of the food, it became a highlight of the night.

Day of, everything went so smoothly. I was so happy they helped with the rehearsal and were there to cue people when to go down the aisle. They were also there to keep the reception on schedule, and although April disappeared a few times and our photographer had to step in to help with the bouquet/garter tosses, everything still went by smoothly.

The only thing I would change would be the security in the house for the reception. We had a few of our younger guests go in and give themselves a tour, and some pictures of them in our bed in the honeymoon suite surfaced on Facebook the next day. Now I blame the people that did it, not the Winfield Inn ladies, but I just wish they had something in place to avoid that. Our guests pleaded ignorance..."It's not like there were signs" etc. Maybe if they locked up the house or keep a couple interns around? It was just unfortunate, I'm sure they could fix it in the future (or maybe other people's guests will have more tact).

Booking the Winfield Inn was the best wedding decision we made, I can't wait to renew our vows there someday!

The venue was absolutely perfect for my outdoor summer wedding. The grounds are gorgeous. Despite the drought here in Texas, everything is lush and green with beautiful flowers surrounding this amazing white plantation home. My ceremony took place under the gazebo and then dinner and dancing in the grand Garden Ballroom. Wished it lasted forever! The wedding coordinators and team were on top of every aspect from the moment I signed the contract to the big day. I did not have to worry about one thing. It was an absolutely perfect evening!

When looking for our venue, the Winfield was the only place my husband showed a real positive response to, so we knew that was where we were getting married. We worked mostly with April, she was AMAZING and was so helpful and flexible with all of our ideas to make our wedding fun and unique to us. On the day of our rehearsal, April went into labor and Robyn stepped in as our head coordinator, she was also GREAT and did awesome in picking up where April left off. On the day of, all the girls at the Winfield were so helpful in setting up all of our decorations and centerpieces. They were also really great at keeping the whole day going on schedule and making sure we got to do everything we planned and wanted to do during the ceremony and reception. Breakfast the next day was AMAZING, my husband and I both left stuffed! It did end up being a little bit more pricey than what we originally planned for, but everything was so amazing and spectacular I don't regret spending the money for a second!!

The Winfield Inn was absolutely amazing throughout the whole wedding planning process! Robyn and April always promptly responded to my questions and were full of suggestions! Robyn was just perfect in setting up appointments for me to come look at the venue... several times before the day of the wedding... just so I could make sure I had the layout of everything clearly set in my mind. April and Robyn were always upbeat and willing to do anything to make our day special.

The food was EXCELLENT, and they even made a special meal for me due to dietary restrictions!

On the day of the wedding, the Winfield staff set up all my decorations and details perfectly! I worked really hard on every single detail including endless nights of DIY project... and I have to say I had reservations about others setting up my vision. However... as soon as I walked into the ballroom on the day of the wedding, I was just blown away by how beautiful they made everything!

The Winfield Inn is a perfect spot for your wedding. We loved every single second of ours... and it's all thanks to the ladies at the Winfield. They took care of every single detail on our wedding day, so I could relax with my bridesmaids and not have to stress about anything. Our cake had been set out in the heat, and the flowers started melting off the sides (my mom was freaking out). No worries! The Winfield to the rescue! They brought it inside the house and fixed the flowers, and it was back to looking absolutely perfect when we cut our cake! I didn't have to stress out about it at all because I knew they would take care of it! I am an extremely high-strung person... but I was the calmest bride on my wedding day... thanks to the Winfield staff!

Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! Robyn and April were wonderful and so extremely helpful with every detail. They were extremely quick to respond to any questions, and were always pleasant to talk to. They had great suggestions, and made our wedding day nearly stress-free. They do their own catering, and is by far the best wedding food I've ever had. Our guests had many many complements about the food, and how well the night progressed. The Winfield is a BEAUTIFUL venue, and made our wedding perfect.

Love, Love, Love the Ladies at the Winfield. They were always quick to get back to me with answers to any question I had, and were really helpful in recommending vendors. We had several people tell us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to/best wedding food they've ever had, and everyone had a great time. The big day was as stress-free as it possibly could be, and we have TONS of great memories as a result. We feel like it was worth every penny!

The Winfield Inn is an immaculate venue with a beautiful pavilion that we used for our reception. They went every inch of the way to get us what we wanted and they provided alot: chairs, tables, table covers, food, decorations, non-alcoholic drinks and a server for our bar. My wife and I stayed the night after the event and were served a breakfast of our choice in the morning. We recommend this venue as a comfortable, romantic setting for your wedding/reception.

The entire staff at The Winfield was amazing throughout the planning process. They were friendly, helpful when I had questions, extremely flexible when different things came up -- couldn't have asked for better. The wedding went without a hitch and the food was Excellent!

The Winfield Inn is absouletly beautiful. We choose this wedding venue because it is so pretty that you do not need a lot of decorations to make your wedding great. The staff at the Winfield are great. Robyn was our coordinator and she went beyond the call to make our wedding unforgettable.

Every detail was thought of and made perfect. I had engaged friends at our wedding ask for information about the Winfield because it was so perfect. The views were gorgeous and thanks to the beautiful landscaping we needed minimal decor. They even had a bridal expo so you could meet their favorite vendors and see how it would look on your wedding day. Everything about it is perfect!

The Winfield Inn was such a God-send. We just returned from our honeymoon...and we returned to nothing but compliments on how beautiful our wedding was! Our guests complimented us on the venue, the service, the food....everything!! I am a control freak and I had everything planned out in my mind, and I had a hard time putting it down on paper for the coordinators to envision. Well, I should have trusted these ladies, because they are Wedding-Extraordinaire's, and they made my ceremony and reception more beautiful than I could ever imagine. They have wedding planning down to a T!

Leading up to the wedding, they kept in perfect contact with me. They kept an eye out on the weather and gave me weekly updates. We had planning meetings, layout meetings, and a delicious food tasting meeting...where they let us change whatever we wanted...different salad dressing, no bell peppers here, no onions there, etc. The hardest part of having our wedding there was deciding on the food....because it is all SO GOOD! Don't be discouraged if they don't allow outside catering. They can and will make EVERYTHING YOU WANT and it will be amazing! We wanted an appetizer that wasn't on the menu, and they whipped it up with no problem.

The day-of coordination was amazing. They were there from beginning to end with the rehearsal and the wedding...they told everyone when to start going down the aisle, where to stand, etc. We had a few people in our wedding party who weren't able to make it to our rehearsal and were extremely nervous on the day of the wedding. The staff calmed them down and walked them through every step.

My deepest and most sincere thanks goes to April, our head coordinator...Robyn, another coordinator who wasn't assigned to our wedding, but was equally as helpful...and our intern who did a great job with her leadership wedding! I never had the pleasure of meeting Jodi (although my husband did) but I did get to speak with her on the phone on occasion, and she was extremely helpful.

If you want the wedding of your dreams (without the stress), have it at The Winfield Inn. You will not be disappointed, and the wedding coordinators will not tell you "NO". They can do anything!!!!

Thanks guys, you were awesome! We wish we could do it again!

All I can say is WOW.
April and the crew at the Winfield Inn did the most amazing job with our wedding on June 18, 2009. Though our wedding was a little out of the ordinary with it being on a Thursday afternoon, they executed all the details and whatnot for making our day special as if it were a black tie affair on a Saturday night.
I wanted a candy bar that was baseball themed but I just couldn't figure out how to set it up the way I had envisioned it in my mind. The girls went above and beyond what I was expecting and the baseball candy bar was an absolute 'home run' *don't mind the pun* with the guests and my baseball fanatic of a husband.
It was so hot and humid with it being 102 degrees and 80% humidity yet the crew managed to keep the guests cooled and watered down so to speak.
The Inn itself is beautiful with grounds that are breathtaking even in the midst of summer. It's so green and the grounds are very well manicured with oaks that provide magnificent shade to all guests that venture onto the property.
The pool is quite inviting I have to say....inviting enough that my bridesmaids and I lept into the pool still in our wedding/party dresses which was quite a 'splash'. Okay lame joke but the Inn gave us permission and it was the best way to cool down. The groomsmen enjoyed the pool before the wedding since all they have to do is shower and get dressed-the easy stuff.
The Winfield Inn is very accomodating to brides/grooms and will help you every step of the way if you are in need!
I don't think the wedding would have been as beautiful had it not been for the Inn and the staff that took care of us every step of the way!
Thank you Winfield...my wedding was more than what I had envisioned because of you!

The Winfield Inn made our dream wedding possible. April is SO wonderful and helpful. She is extremely friendly and answered all of our (sometimes very random) questions perfectly. Picking the Winfield Inn as our venue was by far the best decision we made in our wedding planning. It was so stress-free and easy. We visited and fell in love with the beautiful property and the people that work there. April helped us picking out all of the details of our wedding and was very helpful when we asked her advice. It was so nice to spend the day of our wedding focusing on getting ready and spending time with my family and bridesmaids rather than having to worry about setting anything up. We brought everything in boxes labeled as to what they were for, and the Winfield staff set up EVERYTHING.

Also, the food was AMAZING. My husband still raves about the Summer Sage Sausage that we served at our reception. They will totally customize your menu to anything you want and to any price range you are looking for. Also, you can bring your own alcohol which is a HUGE money saver! They can even recommend a wonderful place to order the alcohol from that will deliver to the Winfield and then come back and pick up any empty kegs, etc.

I cannot say enough how much our guests LOVED our venue. Now three months after our wedding, family and friends still talk about how they have never seen such a beautiful place and ask us how we found somewhere so perfect! It helped to make our pictures GORGEOUS!

Another plus is that the Winfield has a great backup plan for rain. Yes it can get quite pricey to rent the sides for the pavilion, but trust me, if its raining (or has been all week and looking like it will during your wedding!) it will be worth it! We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding and many of the other places we looked at had less than desirable rain plans.

We rented the venue for the entire weekend and that made everything so easy and stress-free as well. We had our rehearsal dinner at a nearby restaurant, then me and the bridesmaids spent the night there the night before and then had brunch and got ready that morning. After the wedding, my new husband and I spent the night there as well and had a delicious breakfast the next morning.

If you are looking for a stress-free venue and wonderful, knowledgeable, and friendly people to work with, the Winfield Inn is the PERFECT venue.

Pros: I'm not sure a more beautiful and perfect location exists in Austin. The venue is incredible. The coordinator service is spectacular. I was not stressed about a single thing the day of the wedding.

The morning of the wedding we dropped off several boxes (each labeled with their purpose- sand ceremony, centerpieces, etc.) and everything was organized beautifully.

Before the wedding day, we had successful (and flexible!) meetings with April and Robyn. Any time I sent a question via e-mail, I received a response within one day, usually one hour. The Winfield Inn made the planning process easy breezy.

As far as catering goes, I am allergic to onions and my dad and sister are lactose intolerant. Jodi and April were great in helping us choose a menu that fit our needs. Many places are not that cooperative.

We have dubbed our menu "upscaled BBQ" and everyone enjoyed. Just last week (almost 3 months later) one of our guests said in passing that they wished they had the recipe to our apricot glazed kielbasa from the wedding.

I mentioned at the tasting that I only like French dressing and surprise surprise, April brought me my own personal French dressing during the meal! Everyone else had chipotle ranch. April and the girls strive to make every detail perfect, even if it's giving the bride her French dressing. :)

Cons: I always knew the rain plan was the covered ballroom pavilion with drop walls. However, the drop walls will run you about $1000 with an external company. We didn't have this problem, but I thought it might be helpful for others to know.

We can't say enough good things about the Winfield. When we first visited we knew it was the place for us. The staff was more than accomodating. On my wedding day I wanted for nothing. April and the interns preplanned everything down to the minute from the timeline to the menu, they knew their stuff and made sure we got what we were looking for. You cannot beat the value you find in the personal touches at The Winfield Inn. The location is gorgeous and so versitile it can be whatever you want it to be. I so highly recommend this venue and staff, we can't wait to go back for our anniversary!

The Winfield Inn has been amazing throughout this entire experience. Jacki has answered every question without hesitation and has provided me with endless support. The venue is beautiful and doesn't require a lot of decoration. It's so easy to personalize the venue to your needs and desires. The food was also fantastic. I know fajitas aren't traditional for a wedding, but they are delicious. And if you want more traditional fare, then they can do that for you too. If you're looking for a venue in the central Texas area, then find out if the Winfield Inn is in your budget, and give them a call.

The Winfield Inn was the perfect place for us to have our wedding. Every single person on staff (Especially April and Robyn) was immensely helpful when I had a question and they were always very quick to respond, even though they had tons of other weddings going on too. The venue is breath-takingly beautiful. If you are looking for an outdoor venue with Southern charm in the Austin, TX area, this is the one. The grass is so green everywhere and they have lots of lovely plants and big trees on the property. I felt like I was constantly changing things and revising what I wanted from them, but they were extremely flexible and willing to work with me. They also did their best to help me keep the cost down as much as possible.
On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to do a single thing. I brought all the centerpieces, but they did all of the setting up and decorating. They made sure me and my bridesmaids had everything we needed while getting ready and were willing to get anything we didn't have right away. Our ceremony was perfect and then we headed to the reception. Their catering is DELICIOUS. We went with the barbecue and people have been talking about it for the past 2 months. Everything else on their menu sounded so tasty too though, so it was hard to choose. Also, about 1 month prior to our big day, they set up a tasting/date night for you to come and try all your food. They give you wine and bring out all of your courses and allow you to give feedback on what you like/don't like or what you would like changed.
I really can't say enough good things about the Winfield Inn. I am so so so happy we had our wedding there. I wouldn't change a thing.

All of the wedding coordinators here were so helpful and always available to answer any questions we had a long the way. They were so great on the wedding day and knew exactly what to do. It was so nice to be able to stay there the night before with all of my bridesmaids It was very convenient. The Winfield Inn is so beautiful. Our wedding was in June which was hot, but with all of the tree cover it was bearable and our guests weren't too uncomfortable.

This venue is amazing in every way- from food to location to price. I couldn't be happier to have gone with them for not only our ceremony and reception location but also our rehearsal dinner. We rented the Winfield Inn for the whole weekend so that we could make our DIY wedding come to life with the help of our wedding party and the wonderful team at the Winfield. Everyone was so helpful and understanding of all our wants and needs. They understood my vision and made it come to life. The whole day was perfect from set up to clean up and of course everything in between.

Location- surrounded by beautiful fields of wildflowers, quiet and away from the city, shaded by huge trees so even if its a hot texas day its usually a great temperature in the backyard.
Food- very delicious and can make basically anything. The only thing we noticed was 2 of the things we tasted early on were different at the wedding, other then that all way perfect.
Team- Knowledgable, extremely helpful and truly are passionate about wedding planning.

Also we planned this wedding from NYC and they were so wonderful in making the wedding planning process a breeze from afar.
Definitely suggest renting the Winfield out for the weekend. It was so nice waking up on my wedding day already at the venue. It removed a lot of stress from the day :)

I absolutely love the Winfield Inn! My wedding went off with only one small hitch.. I have a step father and a biological father and the isle was too narrow for all three of us to walk down side by side and we didn't realize til we were there! I'm not sure if it was communicated well to Winfield that there would be three of us. But everything else was AMAZING! Pre-wedding we had great communication and all our needs were met. My step father jokes that April was like his best buddy during the planning and he misses her now that the wedding is over haha! Day of everything was perfect and during the reception it was like I had my own personal assistants! April and the crew were there if I needed anything.. a plate of food, drink refill, song request whatever! I only have rave reviews and so do all of my guests. Beautiful venue, awesome food and great service. Winfield has it all!

Our wedding venue was perfect! The location is so beautiful and April, the coordinator, is extremely helpful. The food is amazingly delicious and beautiful.

Our wedding was outdoors at the end of June in South Texas. There was concern that it would be too hot but it was perfect. It rained briefly just as guests started to arrive but they dried the seats just in time. The reception is held in the outdoor ballroom and was wonderful as well. They bring in fans so that it's not too hot and it does wonders in cooling the area.

The venue is a little expensive but you get alot for the price. It's a Bed and Breakfast that you can rent for the entire weekend. Your wedding party or family can stay there and they have a pool for the kids to play while you are rehearsing. They also have another bed and breakfast called Chantilly that we rented for us and the bridal party to use for the weekend. It's just as beautiful and you get to spend lots of time together.

This was the most wonderful experience for my husband and I. The staff was so understanding, organized, and helpful. I never could have pulled off a 6 month wedding without them. INCREDABLE wedding venue :)

The Winfield Inn was the best venue we could have chosen!! The people were attentive, helpful, genuine, and knowledgable. They made me feel at ease with each part of the engagement. My husband and my family loved them and we still get compliments from our wedding 6 months later.

Only two things that bothered me. Couldn't stand that the wedding planner kept calling me sweetheart. I understand that she was trying to be helpful, but really got on my nerves. And we, not the Winfield, had a cancellation of a provider right, right before I made the big walk. I would have hoped they just would have played throw it instead of making me freak a little. I simple yelled, I don't care. Anyway all in all it was a good deal, very affordable. I would say that it is the best value in central Texas. And most of these things wherevery small, just got under my skin the day of.

My husband and I fell in love with the venue immediately. It is very beautiful and the girls were very friendly and helpful. My only complaints were that we definitely felt nickled and dimed for everything, and it was hard to find the person in charge for help with small issues during the reception. We got a LOT of compliments on the food. We were very pleased with that aspect!

The Winfield Inn was a wonderful venue. The location is perfect and they maintain beautiful acres of green grass and shade-providing trees. Every representative of The Winfield Inn was always very prompt to reply to emails or phone calls and seemed more than happy to work around difficult requests and juggle the small details of my wedding. I couldn't be happier with the genuine care those at The Winfield Inn contributed to my rehearsal dinner and wedding.

The Winfield Inn did an amazing job from beginning to end. The day of coordinator that comes with the venue rental was a life saver, once at the venue they set everything up for me, packed it back up and even kept us on our timeline. I would highly recommend using The Winfield Inn. We received so many complements about the venue as well as the food. I am so happy I chose this venue!! The only thing I would recommend is it is hot outside, rent the fans- even though the venue is covered by trees it still get really hot in the pavilion.

I recently had a beautiful wedding at the Winfield Inn. The site itself is absolutely Texas-perfect, with the big 1890's mansion, lovely grounds, and nice big reception pavilion. It was also incredibly convenient to have them handle the food and the linens, cutting down on the number of vendors we had to get on the same page.

I also applaud the Winfield on their responsiveness--I ALWAYS heard back from them within 24 hours of every email or phone call, and often sooner. If my specific contact wasn't available, one of the other staff members would respond.

Everyone in attendance at my wedding had nothing but compliments on how beautiful and smooth things went. We are very glad we went with this venue, and can't wait to see the photos.

However, there are also a few things that could be worked on...
1) We tended to feel a bit nickel and dimed for anything we added or changed after the initial estimate. Because the estimate/invoice they give you isn't specifically itemized, it's unclear whether things were being added for a specific reason, or if they just assessed $500 every time I had a change request.

2) The food we had at our tasting was slightly different that the food at the reception. For example, we had a dumpling station. At our tasting, the dumplings were pan fried. At the reception, they were deep fried. Similar issues occurred with at least three other items. Nothing was bad--we just wished we'd been able to sign off on it as prepared.

3) The groom's getting ready area isn't air conditioned. The guys were sweating like pigs.

4) Final nitpicky thing--my contact at the venue has a tendency to call everyone sweetie, honey, etc. Considering she's a bit younger than me, it felt a little degrading to have her constantly calling me by pet names. I don't think this was malicious at all--just annoying.

All in all though, we had a great wedding, and would recommend the Winfield to other brides.

Great location, great staff up until the day of the wedding. Tea ran out and dinner was barely being served, fortunately they made more, staff was not very helpful or keeping up with little things that needed attention.

I feel terrible saying this but...I have mixed reviews about the Winfield.

The Winfield Inn is a beautiful venue and we were really excited to get married there. The grounds are stunning and we were very happy with the look of everything at our wedding. The day went smoothly and was truly amazing. The wedding planners, April and Robyn are wonderful and very helpful.

However, the lead up to our wedding was really stressful. There are a lot of rules at the Winfield and it did not feel like they were particularly flexible about many of them. There were many times when it felt things were more complicated than they needed to be. And...the billing system is not clear. Everything is listed in bulk prices and it was really hard to figure out how much things cost. It was extremely difficult to tell where the prices were changing or being increased.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about our experiences with the Winfield. It is really sad and bitter sweet for me to write this! I mean, our wedding was wonderful, but the stress and financial strain and rules were not something we bargained for.
