One of the best wedding planning decisions we made was to book with Remixologists, and we feel SO lucky to have had DJ Benja Styles as our wedding DJ! From the moment we booked until after the party ended, Ben was a true professional. He was always upbeat, thoughtful, and quick to respond to any questions we ever had over email. As a person, his energy is infectious and we knew immediately that we made the right choice for our wedding music. He also really took the time to get to know our music tastes and made sure the playlist reflected exactly what we wanted.
On the big day, he absolutely crushed it. The way he mixed the music and transitioned between songs was just amazing. He knew exactly what to play to keep everyone having a blast, from old-school classics to the latest hits. Our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had, and it’s all thanks to him.
If you're looking for a PARTY, look no further than Remixologists and DJ Benja Styles. We promise you will NOT regret it!! -

The dance floor was packed all night and so many guests commented on how amazing DJ Benja was!! Highly, highly recommend!
Ben is professional, fun, and a joy to work with! He is first and foremost an amazing DJ: he seamlessly mixed songs, reading the room and ensuring the party never stopped. He was also on top of everything leading up to the wedding and helped us navigate the organization. He reached out to coordinate with the venue to make sure things ran smoothly and met with us several times to make sure the music was spot on for all the events on the day of the wedding.
Ben was also super helpful and flexible when we ran into some weather related changes day-of.
The ceremony and cocktail hour went perfectly. The reception was fantastic and we have never danced so much in our lives! The MC-ing was also perfect! We can’t praise Ben’s work highly enough!
Working with Remixologists was also straightforward and easy. They are an organized and experienced company that know the specific needs of weddings. Highly recommend! -

My husband did a ton of research as we were looking for our wedding DJ and was so excited when he found DJ L'Gitt (Lee), because his style and some of the samples were exactly what we were looking for. We knew we made the right choice during our conversations with Lee ahead of our date, as he asked thoughtful questions, refined an audio file for my husband's dance with his mom, and had a clear understanding of what we wanted to hear and feel.
The day of, Lee was set up well ahead of time and tested everything to ensure it all went smoothly. He also pulled us aside briefly to check in and confirm that everything was as we had discussed, which we really appreciated. Once our event started, Lee exceeded all expectations. From his MC'ing to mashing up songs we requested with his own choices, everything he did was so above and beyond. Everyone LOVED him, the dance floor was packed the entire night, and we could not have had a better time. Lee absolutely crushed our wedding, and we are so thankful we chose him to curate the soundtrack for our party. -

Luke aka DJ Coolhand was our wedding DJ and we loved him from the moment we had our pre-booking interview to our prep call and finally at the wedding! The day of our wedding was a record breaking storm in NYC and there were a lot of traffic/logistic problems but Luke arrived on time and did multiple checks to make sure all of the sound was perfect! We felt like he had everything under control at all times and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The music was great all night and all of my guests had a great time! We didn't give him a list of music to play, he just read the room and all of the music selections were perfect. Thank you for making our wedding perfect, Luke!! -

Ben and the whole Remixologists team are the absolute top of their game! Music and atmosphere drive so much about a successful wedding, and when we look back, we (and our guests) keep raving and raving about the music.
My wife and I were looking for a mix of throwback pop and modern EDM. We did a few late nights of research and stumbled upon the Remixologists website. After listening to a few mixes, we reached out and were relieved that they were available! We got set up with Ben (aka Benja Styles) to start planning immediately.
Ben was really wonderful to work with. We had a very detailed timeline that we collaborated on, and he went the extra mile to connect with our day-of coordinator to line everything up. Most importantly, whenever we started to get anxious about details not coming together, Ben put us at ease. We made up a handful of Spotify playlists — Definitely Play, Do Not Play, Cocktail Hour & Eating — and Ben perfectly took all of it as inspiration to make every moment awesome.
The dance floor was 100% full the entire time — no joke. I was actually a bit surprised, but it really just shows how amazing of a DJ Ben is. He had the perfect track to go with the energy flow of the night and it was such an awesome time that my dad (who is typically pretty reserved) went up and thanked him at the end. Big warm feels from seeing our families up and dancing — which definitely isn’t the norm at weddings!
Thank you so much Ben and the entire Remixologists team. We look back at our wedding day and think it was absolutely perfect - you were a huge reason why! -

Ben from DJ Benga of Remixologists spun for my wedding on 8/27/23 and he was absolutely amazing!!!
We spoke with Simon who paired us with Ben and it was a seamless, organized, type A bride's dream to work with this team. Ben had awesome energy and truly went above and beyond. I'm a musician and not only did he put together a sick set of some of my songs to spin during the reception, but he also mixed together sons for my husband and I's first dance AND an instrumental track for a choreographed performance set (I'm extra, I know).
Beyond all of the dope customization from Ben, he possesses a perfect balance of owning the room when needed (announcements and what not) while being laid back; I've been to weddings where you can tell the MC thinks it's their day but Ben couldn't have been more of the opposite! Most importantly, he crushed the music and perfectly encapsulated the vibe we were going for.
There's enough stress to deal with on a wedding day, but I can guarantee you won't be sorry if you go with Remixologists and DJ Benga. They have their craft down to a science.
*Barb was an absolutely dope addition to the night. Worth every penny. She crushed the drums and added an element of energy and swag that only further turned the energy of the dance floor up.* -

Probably the best decision we made for our wedding was hiring the Remixologists (in our case, Simon). What you learn from talking to the Remixologists is that they put in serious work to learn about the couple and make the night incredibly special. Songs from various parts of our lives -- and even songs mentioned during a speech on the wedding day -- were worked into the reception playlist. Our friends and family were on the dance floor all night. They said they didn’t want to leave. Multiple people came up to me and said he's the best DJ they've ever seen. I now want to be invited to other weddings where the Remixologists are spinning. -

We had DJ Lee (L'Gitt) at our wedding and he was AMAZING!! We had such a blast and our guests were on the dance floor the entire time, exactly what we wanted. We had multiple guests that are planning their weddings in the area ask for his info. Not only was Lee phenomenal day-of, but he was so helpful communicating with us in the weeks leading up to help us with song selections, preparing a cut of our first dance song in advance so we could practice, and sending playlist suggestions for our after party. We also had a rain scare day-of (luckily it didn't happen), but Lee was flexible and prepared for whatever weather could have come our way. Outside of being a DJ he is an awesome person - wish we got to spend more time with him! Would do anything to relive our party thanks to Lee! -

Best dj ever!
Ben did an amazing job! He was so helpful with finding the perfect songs for us. He played everything we asked for and made sure the crowd was happy. Everyone was dancing by the end of the night. I wish I could relive this night again! -

Remixologist and DJ Jams Bond were incredible. They very tech savvy which made payments, scheduling, and collaboration stress free. DJ Jams Band (David) came through huge for us on putting together a few custom songs we wanted for the ceremony and our first dance. I should also note that of the many highlights at our wedding, I had multiple guests of all age groups come up to me during the reception to specifically mention how great the music was and to ask whether I had specifically curated the playlist (I had not, that was all David). Remixologist on a whole were kind, courteous, professional, and, most importantly, super fun. -

Music was the MOST important thing to my husband and I for our October 2022 wedding. Music is what brought us together and plays a huge part in our love story. We wanted that to show through on our day. Hiring Simon from Remixologists was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We have a very unique taste in music including a lot of punk and harder rock. Simon was somehow able to flawlessly mix in our favorite bands/artist and still manage to keep everyone raging on the dance floor the entire night. To this day, the music is the thing our guests RAVE the most about saying he was the best DJ they have ever experienced. It makes sense - just check out their website to see the incredible resume/history. If music is a priority for your day, hire Remixologists. -

I highly recommend you hire DJ Benja!! I am a Jamaican American, and it was necessary to highlight both cultures at our wedding. DJ Ben was able to accomplish more than I could have ever imagined. No one could get off the dance floor, we danced the night away. DJ Ben played old-school (the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s) reggae that resonated with my Father, Uncles, and Family from Jamaica. As well as pop music, r&b during dinner, basically everything I asked for, and more! DJ Ben was super professional, responsive, and organized.
Remixologists set us up with the right DJ to make our wedding ever-lasting and DJ Ben a forever friend! -
