Beverly was the best! Having an October wedding outside in Oregon is always risky and even tho the weather worked out, she provided an alternative location which was amazing. She made it special and we would completely recommend her!

Beverly was fantastic. She was quick to welcome us, she offered different areas for us to hold my daughters ceremony. She had witnesses for us. We also got great pictures .

Beverly was a real champ! On the day of my wedding she woke up very ill. She immediately let me know that she was still hoping to officiate, but in case she was unable to she had another officiant ready to come. Though I told her there was no need for her to be there when she was so sick and that it was perfectly fine to have the other officiant, come showtime Beverly was at our location making sure all was setup smoothly for the ceremony, and she officiated our wedding with a smile on her face despite being in pain. I admire her perseverance, professionalism, and her positive energy!

My husband is in the military and as part of his job, he is far away from our home. So, we had to get married far away from our family members and friends. Beverly was such an angel. She and her team were amazing, she made us feel like home. Greeted us with some wine, had a place for us to get changed into our wedding attire and took photos of everything. It was a beautiful yet simple ceremony. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Fully recommend.

I couldn't have asked for a better person to officiate and help plan our wedding. Beverly is so sweet and down to earth. She made us feel so relaxed and excited about every aspect. she went above and beyond with the help of the venue owners to make our day perfect. Beverly just did our wedding sept 15th 2015 at rocky butte in portland oregon and it was amazing.she was very personable and fun to work with.i was very nervous and as soon as I met her all my nerves were calmed.i was a bride on a budget and she worked with that as well and without cutting corners or making us feel bad she accommodated everything we asked for.beverly did our photography as well and while waiting for the edits she immediately put up our video of the wedding pics for us and family to see.i couldn't have picked anyone better and if you choose her you will not be disappointed.

Beverly was an amazing officiant! She was professional and very nice. She personalized our ceremony to exactly what we asked for and more. Many of our guests mentioned how much they loved the ceremony, and we couldn't have done it without Beverly. She communicated with us every step of the way. We highly recommend her!

I was very pleased with the flexibility that Beverly had when we were trying to find the perfect day and location for our elopement, which had a few changes. Additionally, Beverly provided a few beautiful pictures, which was not anticipated but very appreciated as we chose not to have any professional pictures

I found Beverly on Wedding Wire and on a local wedding planning site. Beverly was very responsive to my emails when I first contacted her.

The minute we met to go over the wedding I knew I had chosen the right person to perform our wedding ceremony.

Beverly is very professional and made us both feel comfortable. She is very good at what she does and was great at keeping us and the bridal party on task right before the ceremony. Our guests thought she did a wonderful job.

I can't say enough about Beverly and her connection with people. She's great. I highly recommend her!

The ceremony was beautiful in great part due to Beverly's impecable services. She was extremely easy to work with, very organized, and wove together a ceremony that received multiple compliments from our guests and families. Anyone wanting to be married in Oregon needs to reserve the services of Beverly. We came from Florida and it was more than we could have asked for. She completely exceeded our expectations. We chose the enchanted elopement package and decided to have the ceremony on her property. The scenery was beautiful and the day was perfect! She made everything so easy since we were coming from across the country. The photos were gorgeous and the slideshow was exceptional!

Beverly was absolutely amazing! I honestly cannot say anything bad about her work. The day of the wedding was completely hectic and rain was making me crazy, but she was able to keep things calm and she did more work than I expected. Beverly basically became the wedding coordinator on top of what she was actually there for. Amazing and highly recommended.

Beverly was amazing - my fiance and I could not agree on a religious officiant, and were looking for someone who could incorporate details important to both of us in our ceremony. We feel so blessed to have had Beverly Mason perform our wedding ceremony. To begin, we contacted her 5 days before we wanted to get married. We knew we were cutting it close from the beginning, but thanks to her extreme professionalism and amazing organizational skills, she was able to put together a phenomenal elopement package for us, including the venue.

We are so thankful to have found her because otherwise we would have ended up at the court house, or in the Recorder's Office. Instead we had the most meaningful ceremony, outside in nature, with great witnesses, a unity sand ceremony, Champagne toast, and awesome pictures/video. After the ceremony Beverly continued to take tons of pictures of us in the most beautiful settings, which was beyond wonderful because we are such nature lovers! To top off our amazing experience, we were shocked at how quickly we got our pictures and video, it was almost overnight!

The entire experience is hard to sum up in words because it was so meaningful, beautiful, and individualized for our personalities. We are forever grateful to Beverly for all of her kindness, professionalism, and overall wonderfulness!!! Also, there is no way you could get all these services at a better rate, the pricing is hands down unbeatable!

We lovingly recommend Beverly Mason to any couple looking to make their special day one to remember.

I found The Radiant Touch via an email that was sent to me. I instantly fell in love with Beverly's website, she had a variety of options for ceremonys. I called her and made a appointment for my fiance and I to meet with her. She explained everything she offered and the prices. We loved what she offered and booked her for our wedding. Putting our ceremony together was a breeze with the help on her website and herself.
On the day of our wedding Beverly was amazing. My 4 year old had fallen and scraped her knee up pretty bad and Beverly was wonderful with my her. Helping her get cleaned up and even getting her first-aid kit to get my daughter a band-aid.
The ceremony was beautiful and I had gotten so many complements about Beverly and the ceremony from my guest.
She makes it such a wonderful day and adds some fun to it. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

The Radiant Touch is more than we could have asked for on our wedding day. The ceremony was perfectly planned out by Beverly to make our ceremony one that we would never forget. A simple thank you would never be enough to express my deepest regard to you for the beautiful ceremony you performed. Bev is an incredible asset to have on the most important day ever. Her hotos and video clips of my wedding turned out beautiful and she really captured the many wonderful moments we had throughout. She offered great advice on local vendors that would provide me quality service in my price range. We are from Washington and had a destination wedding on the coast. Beverly was the perfect officiant for this situation. She was very quick to respond to any questions through email and made our ceremony unique for us. Even with computer issues she was able to quickly contact me to solve any questions or problems. She arrived two hours early to our wedding, and quickly had a rehearsal with us. She gave me a choice of her attire and didn't complain at all when I asked her to wear a black suit on a hot day. She was very kind and helpful when it came to last minute details. At the ceremony she was perfect. She projected her voice so everyone could hear her on a windy beach day, and was very professional. She got along great with everyone, and turned all of my paperwork in for me. Thank you so much for a perfect wedding Beverly!! Beverly was an amazing officiant and a photographer. Her and her assistant covered our wedding completely and captured every moment! She had amazing photo ideas and they are breathtaking. She was flexible with meetings and our Rehearsal and really was professional. My family is very oblivious and Beverly was able to round us all up for pictures, also during the rehearsal she was able to keep everyone on task and made it successful.

Beverly is not only extremely pleasant to work with but she is a true professional. She helped tailor our ceremony the way we wanted it to be. From the moment we met her we knew we wanted her. Beverly Mason did a great job for our wedding. She was our officiant and our wedding photographer. We liked her different wedding vow options and were able to chose one that worked perfectly for us. We were also unable to afford a traditional wedding photographer and Beverly's photography service was exactly what we were hoping to find. She gave us a beautiful summary of our wedding day and captured all of the details of the day perfectly. She gave us wonderful photos in a digital format and once we saw the photos we even decided to purchase photos albums for our families from her.
We live out of state and she was able to coordinate all of the details wonderfully. We were able to meet with her when we came into town to finalize all of the wedding details. She far exceeded our expectations and I would recommend her to anyone. If you chose to work with Beverly you won't be disappointed, you will be relieved to be working with such a professional, organized, and talented person. Thanks Beverly!

I contacted Beverly Mason for a simple elopement ceremony after stumbling upon her web site http://www.theradianttouch.com/

The initial plan was to run off to the courthouse and elope without anyone knowing. To avoid the kids overhearing, I contacted Beverly by e-mail and explained the situation. She responded the same day (within an hour or so) and provided me with options and suggestions as well as quotes. It was Spring and I wanted an outdoor wedding within the next 10 days. Beverly checked the weather forecast and suggested the perfect day, time and place. Beverly and I corresponded via e-mail on several occasions (I had changed my mind about a few details and needed reassurance about a few other details – I tend to over stress about things). She was always prompt to respond and very reassuring.

The day of our wedding turned out to be PERFECT just as Beverly suggested. The weather was stunning (sunshine, not too hot, no rain or clouds). The location was PERFECT (beautiful river, pond, garden and setting). The time was PERFECT (got dressed up, had the ceremony and photos, and we were home before the kids got back from school).

Beverly planned to mail the disc of photos to me and beings that everything else was so perfect (and the price was incredibly reasonable…no make that “an exceptional value”, not reasonable), I anticipated running into a problem with the photos. Well a few days later when the photo disc arrived…surprise…it was PERFECT too.

I usually don’t take the time to write a review about things no matter how much I like or dislike the service or product. However, with the service that Beverly provided…I absolutely had to write a review. Beverly made our special day into a perfect wedding day. She had arranged for 2 witnesses, a beautiful location, a great ceremony and included nearly 200 stunning photos taken in various locations. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Her flexible schedule to fit into our schedule. She was reassuring, prompt and clear with her communications both by phone and by email.

Beverly Mason (as officiant) and her husband (as photographer) did an excellent job helping me pull off a surprise vow renewal for our 30th anniversary aboard the Portland Spirit. She was kind, caring, thoughtful and very responsive to my needs for this ceremony. Beverly is the picture of professionalism, yet she also radiates an aura of joy and love that enhances the experience. Together Beverly and I devised the vows and Beverly finished off the ceremony script with some thoughts of her own on love and a happy life together. When the big day came Beverly deftly moved in for the ceremony in a quiet part of the ship without arousing even a glimmer of suspicion from my wife. The vow renewal ceremony that Beverly so carefully crafted moved us and many of our guests to tears of joy. My wife was surprised and very pleased, just exactly what I was hoping for. In retrospect, I would never forgive myself if I had failed to call Beverly to arrange this ceremony, it was an experience of a lifetime for us, our family and our marriage.
I had previously witnessed Beverly as officiant for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding on the Oregon Coast. Despite the conditions (it rained incessantly through the whole ceremony) Beverly was a good sport, she again was professional yet caring which is what inspired me to call her for my 30th Anniversary event. The photos from the service were excellent, upon posting them on Facebook many friends noted that they could read my wife's thoughts directly from the photos taken during the ceremony. The pictures where emailed to me promptly so I could share them with friends and family the very next day. Beverly gave us an excellent experience, one that we will treasure for years to come.

My fiancee (now wife!) and I decided that November 20th would be the day that we would finally tie the knot (having been engaged for over a year).

We had anticipated being able to stroll into the courthouse or county clerk's office, sign some papers and be done with it, however, in Multnomah County it appears that marriages take 'planning' and appointments and it already being November 15th we had precious little time lest we re-schedule (which was decidedly NOT an option).

We found Bev's services listed on Craig's List and e-mailed her that night. By morning we had a response and she was available for a service on the 20th. Not only was she available for a service on the 20th, but she lead us out of the doldrums of my Libra indecision and arranged a location for us (witnesses included). Our Oregon City elopement went off without a hitch and for two procrastinators with no prior wedding experiences to our names, Bev was a spectacular find. She was timely, professional, stress free and easy to work with. We would love to work with her again (not like that! Say maybe, when we renew our vows in a couple years?)

Our plan to interview six wedding officiates took place at various Starbucks locations. Even in our caffeinated states that intensified through the day, we were extremely clear headed when we knew who the perfect one to perform our wedding ceremony was: Beverly Mason.

When we met Beverly, we were drawn to her immediately. She had one of those life stories that you love to read about that inspires you to go for what you love to do. Out of pursuing her dreams, came the opportunity to provide people her services as a wedding officiate. As she told us her story, we laughed, we smiled, and we nodded and smiled again. Beverly has such a great smile and so many unique ideas about ceremonies ~ specifically how to blend two different backgrounds into a perfect prayer. Her sense of humor mixed with her exquisite style gave us the most beautiful wedding ceremony. Beverly worked right along side of us, blending our very different backgrounds into a ceremony that brought tears and laughter from those who were attending. Bev is a friend of mine who flew out from Oregon to Austin, TX for our wedding. Not only did she listen to me complain and freak out for months before the wedding, but she had great advice and recommendations. The ceremony was exactly what we wanted. She customized it to fit our personalities. She took control at the rehearsal, even though we had to practice elsewhere due to high winds, and made sure everyone knew what they were doing. She even wrote out queue cards for the music and direction people. And to top it all off, she gave us a copy of our ceremony on pretty bond paper so that we always remember our vows.

Bev also took pictures for us at the wedding, even though we hired a photographer from Austin. Bev was able to catch all the fun and candid shots throughout the entire weekend.

Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better officiant and friend. She came through for us and made our ceremony so special.

Bev of Radiant Touch provides an excellent service at a very fair price. While her professionalism and skills as a photogragher and officiant are exceptional, it is her personal one-on-one attention to detail that puts her in a catagory of her own. She is timely, precise, and wonderful to work with, especially on the day you want everything to be perfect.

I recommend Bev highly when you are thinking about an outdoor event, an elopement, as well as the traditional wedding choices. She and her daughter also did the photography for our outdoor wedding and their photos turned out to be lovely. She also offers to put the photos in order of the events of the day onto a DVD with music and collages. The DVD is exceptional.

Additionally, Bev set up a limo service for us and as the limo drove us to different sites for pictures, Bev met us at each stop to capture pictures of our very special day.

Bev has many pre-written vows she offered as we put ours together. It was so easy, we just scrolled through her website and picked out the phrases and words that suited us and put together our own unique ceremony.

Needless to say, our day was a beautiful one and much of it is thanks to Bev's attention to the details.

She did a fantastic job, not only did she do photography and officate the wedding but she also kept me on schedule during my wedding day to make sure everything was done in the time we were together. She is very easy to work with and responds very quickly to e-mails. We live out of state so it is hard to find someone to trust but she did a wonderful job. She also helped us with our marriage license. She took it into the office for us and helped us file it.

I can not begin to tell you how grateful I am that I found Bev!!! My husband is from Oregon and I am from Philadelphia. We were trying to come up with a wedding plan that wouldn't cost us a fortune, but still be a memorable one. This was no easy task for me, considering I was new to the area.
Bev took on the challenge. She became our wedding planner! Bev found the perfect location, provided the decorations, the arch, the table arrangements, found and booked the violinist and pianist and the photographer. She even helped with the programs making corrections via email. The most amazing part of it is she was able to do this in under two weeks!!!!
Our wedding ended up to be more than we could have dreamed. Bev made sure all of our six children played a special role in the ceremony. Every thing was perfect!!!
I would recommend Beverly Mason to everyone. She truly has a gift and her attention to detail is impeccable. I could not have been happier with her serves and professionalism.

Beverly did a wonderful job officiating at our wedding. She was pleasant, funny and accommodating. She was very upfront about her rates and services, and even pointed out when we didn't need her to do something (saved us $100). Since we lived far away from one another and the planning cycle was very short, we arranged most of the ceremony details via email. I provided suggestions for the tone of the ceremony including some readings she had on her website. She integrated quite a few personal details she learned from our meeting and on our wedding website. I cried from start to finish and so did my groom :)

My guests were very impressed with her poise and the way the ceremony was delivered. I would certainly recommend Beverly to any couple looking for a not-necessary-religious ceremony. She is a great lady!

I had checked out many photographers and most of them were completely outragous as far as the pricing went for our small wedding budget. When I stumbled upon her site I was impressed by her photos. They were very nice and pretty much what I was looking for. Then I was able to check out her pricing and my jaw dropped *IN A GOOD WAY* That was totally in my budget. Then I kept browsing her site and found out the she could also do the ceremony! So I got two services for the price of one. It was awesome! I was able to choose from many different types of ceremonies and I choose one that fit us the best. Simple, quick, to the point, and then lets get this party started. I would recommend The Radiant Touch for those brides to be who need her services. I loved my pictures when I recieved them....... P.S. If a website for photographers have no prices and need to give you a quote think Cha $ Ching $. Yes, these memories will last a lifetime. Yes, make sure you get quality. But make sure it will not take a lifetime to pay them off.

I have have gone back and for about whether to write this review or not..After looking over our wedding photos again recently I deemed it necessary.

Beverly was completely pleasant and professional. She was prompt to respond to all of my questions and concerns. Her property is gorgeous, and it was a very beautiful and peaceful place to marry.

However, I feel absolutely sick every time I see our pictures her and her sister took. The package we paid for included photos which was happy..But out of the 131 pictures we received, only a small handful of them are decent. We were given many mannnnny pictures where one or both of us had our eyes closed..she did however make sure to take several pictures of her fish which had nothing to do with us...Very disappointing that our day was not captured better.

If anyone is considering having there wedding here, we would STRONGLY advise hiring an outside photographer. It's very disappointing that we trusted Beverly to be honest in her photography abilities and trusted her to take good pictures that we could happily look back at. Instead, I literally am sick to my stomach with regret every time I look at them which absolutely bitters the whole situation. I don't think I could be more disappointed in the photos.

Mrs. Mason is a nice person, will meet with you to discuss wedding possabilities, time, date and such, is very flexable throughout this stage. We planned our wedding over a year ahead, and she was clearly free around the date we had chosen for both rehearsal, and wedding date. However, Mrs. Mason seemed like a total different person later on when the dates came around the corner. She had planned a rehearsal a few hours away, following ours, and we could tell she was rushing our rehearsal to get to the other, because she was even talking about the long drive ahead she had. The next day was our wedding day, and we were so dissapointed. Mrs. Mason upset my husband at the alter because it was starting 2 minutes late. She kept asking "where is she (bride), i have another wedding right after this." This was the same wedding that was a few hour drive away from the prior day. It was very unprofessional to schedule another wedding right after ours, aspecially when it's a several hour drive, not to mention no wedding starts on time. She shouldn't have booked them so close. The moment the ceremony ended she hurried to sign our papers and dissapeared. We just really thought she could have been more proffesional if she hadn't scheduled another wedding right after ours making us feel like she was trying to rush our big moment.

We decided to use Beverly to plan and perform our elopement ceremony at Multnomah Falls. She was very helpful and full of ideas when I first contacted her and very quick to reply to my emails. We felt that we had made the right choice going with her as we had not found anyone else that was so helpful and seemed to really care. Things changed drastically on our wedding day when me and my husband arrived at Multnomah Falls only to find out by the workers at The Lodge that we were not scheduled for a wedding and were asked if we had a permit. We both were totally confused as we had paid Beverly to make all arrangements. Not once did she mention any permits or fees for this location. I went to my car to call her from my cell(25 minutes before ceremony), when I asked her about the permit she acted as if I was at fault for going in The Lodge to change into my wedding dress. She responded by saying, " You weren't suppose to say anything. I have done many ceremonies at Multnomah Falls and never gotten a permit. Of course they are going to make you pay if they know you are getting married." The Lodge manager was also put in a bad situation and ended up lowering the $500 fee to $250 for a 5 minute ceremony. He felt bad for us, but stated that a permit was mandatory for any ceremony at the falls. Me and my husband were both completely stressed and felt pressured to have to make a quick decision on what to do. We ended up staying at Multnomah Falls and paying the fee. At this point, we were both upset, trying to act happy when really we were so disappointed and angry with Beverly. A moment that was suppose to be happy and stressfree was ruined by her deception. After the brief ceremony, the sweet lodge manager that also stood in as a witness carried all of our belongings into The Lodge so our photographer could take some pictures. As the manager walked off with my purse, Beverly stopped him and said she needed the remainder of her payment. Seeing as she had just cost us an additional $250, I didn't feel like she should be getting any more money from us. So, my overall experience with her was horrible. She was very good just corresponding via email and made a very good first impression, but all that went out the window the day of our ceremony.
