Our Daughter’s Wedding
The Pictures Band was absolutely incredible for our daughter’s wedding! They were engaging, fun, and catered perfectly to the vibe we wanted for the evening. Their playlist was versatile, keeping all ages entertained, and the horns were the BEST touch! Communication in the months leading up to the wedding was so genuine and easy that it felt like we were longtime friends by the time the big day arrived. Our guests raved about them, and the dance floor was packed all night long. We couldn’t have asked for a better band—highly, highly recommend The Pictures Band! -

We had The Pictures play at our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! They performed all the best songs with incredible covers and mashups, and they even learned specific songs we requested, making our night truly special. They worked closely with us to capture the perfect vibe, and we couldn’t have asked for a better band. We can’t recommend them enough and would gladly see them live around Austin. I recently attended a wedding where The Pictures Band played. They were amazing- excellent music and vocals. They were interactive with the crowd and facilitated so many fun moments. Great energy and made for such a fun celebration. I highly recommend them. -

My daughter & son-in-law selected The Pictures Band for their wedding based on reviews. I had some apprehension having never heard them & not having any personal references since we're in Houston & they're in Austin. After meeting with them we began to get more comfortable, once they began playing all concerns were vaporized...they were great exceeding all expectations! They brought a very high level of energy to the reception all night long. We could not have been more pleased & can highly recommend them! -

After hearing this amazing ensemble at several events (weddings, restaurant venues and other special occasion events) throughout Texas, I knew that this band would someday play at my son's wedding. The minute we had a wedding date, I booked them! The Pictures brought their "A-Game" to my son's wedding reception (as expected). From the moment we booked this talented group to the private newlywed last dance, the band was perfect. They worked with the wedding planner, the bride & groom and the mother of the groom to make sure the song choices, the instruments and the venue setup were to our liking. Communication was easy and efficient , plus they offered great advice. Of course, the best part of the evening was when the music began! Their timing and interaction with the guests were spot on -- there was NEVER a lag or down time throughout the entire event. If ever you have the opportunity to have The Pictures at your event, do it! Thank you, Byron & Co., for making the post-nuptials such fun for everyone there! -

The Pictures were a crucial part of our reception. They were willing to learn and perform to perfection a song that was important to us for our first dance. They kept the guests moving and had wonderful stage presence. Would HIGHLY recommend The Pictures for any event -

Wow! Where to even start with our review! We loved every single part of working with them. From the very initial conversation to the day after the wedding. The warm and love you could feel from how much they truly love their jobs and how much they care about you is unmatched. The energy was high in the room the whole wedding, the ceremony music was done perfectly, the correspondence was always timely and professional and friendly. Almost every single person stayed the entire wedding until send off and we know that’s because our band was so awesome!! During the wedding and following after every guest could not stop raving about how incredible the band was and how fun our wedding was (because of them!), the pictures band was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding band and the next day we kept saying “wow what else could we book them for?” Because we didn’t want to leave that night and couldn’t stop thinking about how incredible the night was thanks to the talent and energy the band has. I highly recommend the pictures band, they even set us tons of photos the next day that they took, which was so special. Truly the most genuine and fun people. -

I have loved this band for 20 years and when I was planning my wedding at 45 years old I jokingly said to a friend “ how awesome would it be if I could get The Pictures to play at my wedding“ well guess what? I did. And they were fabulous. They were professional, they were friendly, they had the entire crowd up dancing, even my 80-year-old stepdad. No lie! I can tell you with confidence if you hire them for your wedding you will not regret it. Byron, the manager was a great communicator. He would email me just to touch base. Reached out to The Pictures Band 10 months before the wedding. Byron and Christopher responded within 24 hours and made the process so simple. We had them at our other daughter’s wedding and knew we had to jump on reserving this highly sought after band days after the proposal! The wedding was two days ago and I have received countless emails, texts, and phone calls saying it was the best party/celebration! (All due to the energy and the excitement The Pictures brought to the evening). They learned a new song for the bride and groom’s first dance, honored my daughter’s requests for entry song, father-daughter song with slight requested changes, cake cutting song, and final private last dance for the bride and groom. We contracted for their 8 piece band and they each were so accommodating and professional. The chairs were empty and the dance floor was jumping from start to finish. Absolutely no regrets! They made the wedding reception a party to remember!! -

Holy ever loving wow! I am so glad that we had The Pictures Band perform for our wedding reception. From initial communication, they were so easy to work with and always responsive to questions. We gave them a pretty intense 'do not play' list (literally included the top 3 most popular wedding reception songs) and they steered clear - and no one missed them! They have so much talent; each member of the band brought their all and made the night such a blast. They hit the songs that I was dying to dance to at my wedding, kept the energy up and the dance floor full! (we rented a dance floor based on the recommended size for our guest list and we probably should have gone one size up with how many people were dancing for most of the night!) Would add stars if I could! They really helped make our night unique, special, and so much fun! Even our guests have commented about how great they were and how they were too busy on the dance floor, enjoying themselves instead of out at the photo booth or taking their own pictures. -

We have had the pleasure of experiencing The Pictures for all three of our daughter's weddings, the latest being 10/26/19 in Marfa, Texas. They were absolutely amazing once again - incredibly professional, fabulous musicians and absolutely spot on with timing and energy to get your party started and keeping it going until the very end. Our guests could have gone on another hour or two - the energy was fantastic and the dance floor was packed. We always feel like we have had a very professional, amazing band yet they don't dominate the night and make it all about them. You can count on them to deliver a top quality performance, learn special songs you want them to perform, and be punctual, look great - and are just so pleasant to work with. They get my highest possible recommendation. -

The Pictures Band performed for our son's wedding in August 2018 in Fort Worth and again for our daughter's wedding in July, 2019 in Dallas and they were just amazing! The band had every single guest on the dance floor as they really know how to read the crowd. They kept the crowd moving as the singers came down on the dance floor to sing and lead dances and a conga line! Hands down, the best wedding and event band we have ever seen! We would recommend them for any event that requires a great band and entertainment. -

Great energy! Best night ever!
What a pleasure it was to have The Pictures Band play at our wedding. Everyone kept asking...where did you find this band?!...and I really want to hire them too! The dance floor stayed packed the whole night! They are so incredibly talented and even learned two songs just for us that were not on their lists. It brought the whole house down in tears as they sang “You Should Be Here” by Cole Swindel and I danced with my mom (honoring my late father). It was exactly how I pictured it and so memorable for both of us. We even were so lucky to have them play a song just for me and my husband at the end to dance to while the place shut down and guests left to go outside for the send off. I will always cherish that peaceful and loving moment with my spouse. All I’m saying is basically you would be foolish not to use The Pictures Band at your event!! They really are the best I’ve ever seen! (And I’ve been to and in a lot of weddings). We loved you guys and can’t wait to see you play again :) -

Absolutely amazing! Perfect band for a wedding reception!
I am the mother of the groom. The Pictures Band was absolutely amazing. We would hire them again in a heart beat. There were a couple of songs requested by the bride and groom a few weeks before the wedding, for the first dance, mother and son dance and bride and dad dance and the band practiced them to make sure they sounded perfect. And they did. Their music was perfect for both parents in their 50’s and 60’s as well as the younger crowd in their 20’s. Their voices were amazing too. All of my friends and family commented to me at how much they enjoyed the band. They not only had guitars, drums and a few singers, they also had a trombone and a trumpet. They even went into the crowd to get people dancing and participating. Bottom line, you will not go wrong if you hire them. They are AWESOME!! PS - We also rented a stage for the band for around $750. It was a nice addition. -

The Pictures Band was everything I had imagined for my wedding and SO MUCH MORE! They were extremely responsive and made me feel like their number one priority! They were able to learn a brand new song for our first dance! They played a little bit of everything which was so wonderful since a wedding crowd generally has a mixture of different ages! We received so many compliments after our wedding!! You will NOT be disappointed! The Pictures Band is the only band to choose for your wedding! -

Wedding Professionals with Outstanding Sound Quality
The Pictures Band did an amazing job at our wedding at the Wildflower Center in S Austin. They worked hard to get all their equipment setup during the tight window provided by the venue. When it was their time to shine, shine they did. Excellent sound quality, so much so that many guests asked, "Where did you find these guys?" as if The Pictures Band was a famous band passing through Austin on tour and I just talked them into showing up at the wedding somehow. Also, I can't say enough how important it is that they play so many Central TX weddings. Their experience is helpful as they've played most popular wedding venues numerous times and have a sense for when to play what types of music during different times of the event. Lastly, they are responsive and easy to book.
I checked out many bands live before making the decision to hire The Pictures Band. Glad I put the time in. It was a magical night that I'll never forget, and they made a wonderful contribution! -

The Pictures were perfect for our wedding. They were incredibly easy to work with leading up to our wedding & were extremely patient in answering my questions & picking our set list. During the wedding, they crushed the set - the dance floor was full all night and multiple guests came up during/after to tell us how impressed they were with the band. The one common denominator was everyone told us they LOVED our band. We didn’t have a set song list. The Pictures read the crowd perfectly and did not disappoint. Great energy...Great band...Great night! Don’t look anywhere else. We saw a few Texas based bands while we were looking and nobody compared to The Pictures.. trust me.. I did a lot of searching.
Not only did they sound amazing but they were also very responsive and accommodating in the days leading up to the wedding. It was a pleasure working with them! -

Every single guest has come up to me at one point or another since the wedding and mentioned that the best part of the entire wedding was the band. We had an extra long reception because it was a New Year's Eve wedding and the energy never dipped for a second because The Pictures kept everyone rocking and on the dance floor all night long! I can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a band that can get anyone on the dance floor and bring the energy to any event. They were just absolutely AMAZING and completely accommodating to any of our last minute changes or requests! If you are going back and forth on booking them, just go ahead and do it right now, you will NOT be disappointed! Thank you to The Pictures for making our wedding everything we could have dreamed of and more!!!!
