We took 39 people here for our wedding reception dinner! Worked out so well, food was great, and beer and wine included. Well priced and everyone loved it! So many choices! I would choose it again if I had to do it over! Very accommodating! -

I was nervous about planning a wedding over the phone without me ever seeing the venue, decorations, etc., but the catering team at the Mirage met more than my expectations. Always helpful, courteous and flexible to my questions, plans and ideas. I would highly recommend having your wedding at the Mirage. They take the stress out of planning a wedding! -

We had a split wedding ceremony and reception at 2 different locations. We decided on the Mirage for the reception. Planning a wedding from California is difficult but Karli Markovitz and her assistant Kathryn Medley, made everything as easy as possible. When the time came, we met Karli and gave her the decorations which was a lot and many had multiple parts had to be assemble. Karli and her team did a fantastic job assembling everything as we had envisioned. The banquet room was beautifully decorated and the lighting was superb (thanks Patrick S). Our cake came out just like the picture we sent in, we could not believe it. Everything was picture perfect. Karli was very attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable. Our guest were amazed and loved the reception. Thank you! -

The Mirage volcano was a beautiful place to have the ceremony and the reception was absolutely wonderful. Karli was absolutely amazing to work with and was able to make my wedding dream a reality while working primarily through email. She was super responsive to any questions I had and was able to translate what I wanted beautifully. I could not have been happier with the outcome and will remember it forever. I would highly recommend Karli to anyone looking to host an event, whether it be a wedding or other large party. It was absolutely spectacular and she made everything so much easier, especially on the day of the wedding. -

Our wedding reception came off as a perfect event. Everything was timed just perfectly. The passed appetizers were excellent; the dinner was expertly prepared and expertly presented. The wedding cake I asked them to make was the best cake I've ever seen and eaten. The DJ was terrific, the lighting was great and the service was a 10! -

Karli and her assistant were amazing! Super quick to respond to any question or concern we had. Everyone was super attentive and provided us with everything we asked for and so much more. Our venue was beautiful and we had the reception of our dreams. Karli was there to oversee everything and made sure everyone was where they needed to be and when they needed to be there. It could not have gone any better thanks to her hard work. -

Karli was brilliant at helping us organise our wedding which wasn't the easiest to do due to time difference as we live in the UK. The flowers were gorgeous and the backdrop (Volcano at dusk) just finished it off perfectly.. We felt such at ease and if we could do it all over again then we would do it in a heartbeat! -

Karli at the Mirage was THE BEST!! She pretty well planned my wedding for me. I am from Alberta, Canada and was nervous about trying to plan a wedding abroad. Karli was just so great. She provided excellent vendors for the music, photography, entertainers, officiant. She even booked many of these for me. When I couldn't decide about decor, I asked if she could just put something together that matched my wedding colours. She totally nailed it!! She always answered my calls and emails the same day. Even if it was just to say that she got my email and would look into it for me and get back to me. The day was PERFECT!! Everything went so well! I wouldn't change a thing, it was the best day of our lives!! The ceremony and reception rooms were perfect. We had 50 guests at our wedding and everyone loved the hotel and the rooms. The Mirage was great! -

Karli Markovitz, the Sales and Catering Manager at The Mirage, helped us organise everything. Much of our dialogue was done via email with a couple of phone calls along the way. Karli was always very quick to respond and answer our (many!) questions. Once we had decided on the date of the wedding and chosen our package (we went for one of the evening pool side packages) we began to organise everything else.
We flew out to Las Vegas about a year before our wedding primarily for a holiday but also to meet Karli face to face. We spent about half an hour asking her questions and going through some of the fine details. She told us that if we wanted to change anything just to let her know. Following the meeting we continued to converse over email.
A couple of months prior to the wedding Karli called us by phone so that we could have a discussion about some of the final details. We arranged a final face to face meeting for just a few days beforehand to sure up any last minute details, but mostly to put our minds at ease.
On the night, Karli was there at our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. It was a fairly hot summer’s night, somewhere just shy of 40 degrees celsius. Just before we walked out to the pool area for the ceremony, Karli made sure we had our flowers / boutonniere and that the train of the dress was resting properly. She gave the signal and the music started and down the aisle we went. The ceremony took place just opposite the waterfall, the lights illuminating the water beautifully.
After the ceremony we had a few group photographs taken. Before the champagne was served, Karli brought us both some bottles of chilled water. We were both thirsty and were really grateful that she had taken the time to ensure we had those waters before the reception. Shortly after the champagne was poured and we got to see our cake. We weren’t disappointed! It looked amazing and tasted even better, all of our guests loved it. -

My wife Kristen and I got married at the Mirage Waterfall Pool and Dolphin Bar on 10/3/15. We worked with Karli Markovitz and Pastor Mike Willis for the occasion. We can't say enough good things about Karli to start. She was always very responsive to our emails in the months preceding the wedding weekend since we live on the east coast. She always made sure we were aware of all of our options for everything from flowers to DJ to food to ceremony settings. In the weeks before the wedding, we spoke to her on the phone or communicated via email almost every day and when there were any changes in plans or accommodations, Karli was very quick to lay out the process and let us know what we needed to do. She made the process leading up to the wedding weekend very, very smooth.
The wedding itself was perfect! Pastor Mike Willis was our officiant and he took the time two days before the wedding to sit down with us for over an hour and ask us about our relationship and history together. He wants to know details to make the ceremony more personal to the bride and groom, which was an awesome touch! He had options for religious ceremonies or ones more centered on love and marriage. He walked us through the whole procedure of how the ceremony would work and the exact timeline of what he would say and our responsibilities. The ceremony went perfect and we received many compliments on Pastor Mike from our guests. He was the exact mix of humor, sentiment and personality that we were looking for! I would highly recommend him for ANY Vegas wedding!
All our guests were raving about the waterfall setting at night for the ceremony and the cocktail hour/reception at the Dolphin Bar. The food was delicious, the lighting and setting for guests was optimal, and the dance floor near the pool was very unique. The night went off without one hiccup and we have Karli and Pastor Mike to thank for everything! This was the perfect wedding and location for us! Karli is the best! -

We renewed our wedding vows at the Mirage in Las Vegas because it was where we stayed when we were married 25 years ago. I was a little skeptical having the ceremony at the Mirage, thinking it would feel a little bit "casino ish". To my surprise, it was absolutely wonderful. We had a private room, with beautiful flowers, tasty food and a great DJ. Karli, our wedding planner, arranged for Pastor Mike to officiate the service, and he did a wonderful job. There were lots of tears and laughs throughout the night! Everyone had a great time. -

There is not enough room to write all of the wonderful things about The Mirage Resort in Las Vegas! Being from the beach, we wanted a tropical setting for our wedding. So we had our ceremony at the beautiful Mirage pool with the waterfalls in the background, and our reception was at the Paradise Cafe, surrounded by palm trees next to the pool. Rachel Nelson, (Catering Manager at the Mirage) made sure our every wish came true! She listened to every detail over the phone, and in email to make sure it was everything we wanted and more. She was very trustworthy, very professional, and made my planning STRESS FREE!! The food was delicious, the cake was perfect, and the venue was out of this world amazing! Rachel made sure our accommodations were great as well. We stayed in a One Bedroom Tower Suite. Our room had incredible views of the city, a full living area with a bar for entertaining, and TONS of other extras. After our wedding, all of our guests received complimentary admission to Revolution Nightclub, where we all danced into the rest of the morning :) When we got back to our room, Rachel had written us a card...and had a bottle of champagne with chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. All 55 of our guests can't stop telling us what a great time they had. It truly was everything we could have ever wanted for our wedding and more. I can't wait to return for many anniversaries!! Thank you Rachel and the rest of the Mirage staff for an unforgettable week!! To anyone getting married in Vegas...I could say it a hundred times over...have it at the Mirage!! -

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Mirage with 3 parties. The first, held in our hospitality suite utilizing hospitality/ room service was a dessert event. The second was a dinner at STACK restaurant and the third a brunch with banquet/catering. We were pleased with every aspect of our events from the planning and execution to the quality of food and excellence of the service. -

We got a Tower Suite & it was huge. We had our reception there with about 40 people . The staff there is so nice. We brought up 2 tables & 3 coolers, & our own food & alcohol. You need a room key to use the elevator & when we told them we were having a party up there, they said we could have as many keys as we wanted. They never said anything about the loud music or the smell of marijuana throughout the hall. I highly recommend them!

I could not be more pleased with my choice for my Las Vegas destination wedding. We decided on Las Vegas because it is a fun city and we thought that our friends and family would have a great time there. We went to Las Vegas a year prior to our wedding date to check out the different hotels in the area. We made several appointments for the week that we were there. The Mirage was our first stop and I was immediately fell in love with the poolside ceremony. We went to 10 other hotels and I just kept saying "It doesn't compare the to the Mirage."
We booked with the Mirage several months later and I am pleased with our decision. Rachel was so easy to work with and she listened to everything we wanted. We were abmivalent about having the hotel do so much of our reception - such as the catering, wedding cake, lighting and flowers, but then again, I didn't have to find other vendors when I live so far away. I sent Rachel pictures of cake ideas, flower ideas and how we wanted our wedding favors/centerpieces set-up on the tables. She reviewed everything with me prior to the wedding and she made me feel so at ease that everything would go as I wanted. I was so impressed the day of the wedding. My flowers were absolutely gorgeous! The cake was beyond what I imagined it would be and my centerpieces were perfect! If I could post pictures, I would!! I loved everything.
We had about 100 guests and every one of them have commented on how beautiful everything was, how much fun they had, how great the food was... PERFECT!!
Rachel also helped us by giving us a list of DJs in the area and photobooths. I was able to read their reviews and speak with them so I was able to choose vendors that I liked.
Our entire night was fantastic and I could not have asked for anything more. I highly recommend the Mirage for anyone looking to get married in Las Vegas. -

We have Absolutely no regrets. If we have to do it over the venue will remain the same. We honestly couldn't have done it without the team provided by the hotel. They know and do everythinggggggggg. -

The Mirage was a fabulous place to have our wedding! I was in contact with Karli M. through emails and faxes. Everything was fabulous, the back drop was beautiful! It was just my husband and I for the ceremony and I couldn't have asked for anything more! They set everything up for me I didn't have to worry about anything. -

Loved the Mirage and we LOVED our planner Karli. Things went great the only downfall was how overly expensive our photos were after the wedding. We wanted to bring in our own outside photographer and that was not allowed. The one provided was nice but put us in the exact same pose for every picture. It would have been nice to have more options or lower prices. Overall we loved how beautiful the setting was and how nice the staff was. Karli went above and beyond to make my special day the best it could be from start to finish!!! -

Karli & The Mirage went above and beyond for our wedding and we could not be happier with the result. The event turned out even better than I had imagined, I can't say enough about it. While on the pricier side of things - you get what you pay for. -

I would definately recommend The Mirage for a wedding. Karli Markovitz was fantastic and our officiant Wanda was fantastic. The team was very professional and helped make the experience very relaxed. I would remind other couples that the wedding services and accomodations are not really connected so do not expect special treatment from the hotel side of things. -

Everything was perfect and beautiful. My only complaint is that we paid several hundred extra dollars to have alter arrangements and we weren't given the flowers to keep. I'm not sure what happened to them but we didn't get them! -

We had our dream wedding at the Mirage! Ceremony was by the pool, it was a little windy that day, but we didn't care. Everything was set up perfectly.
Reception was in the Bermuda ballroom and when we walked in before the ceremony to take a peek we were blown away! It looked even better than we had imagined.
The food was amazing! We couldn't do a taste test because are party was so small so we worried. I wish I could have had seconds, buy my dress would have burst!
Christine was awesome, we booked almost a year in advance and I had questions here and there and she was always quick to respond.
Only reason I didn't rate flexibility at a 5 is because they do require you use certain vendors.

Very nice venue for wedding reception in a small garden by a volcano beautiful view, food was delicious and wedding cake is to die for.The staff and server were amazing, very organized .karli the contact person was very helpful the best staff to coordinate . Thanks do very much ... it's was a fabulous, unforgettable experience whilst celebrating our 25 vow renewal . -

Always ask if a reception is required with the wedding. The first location I picked did not state that online. Also the music company forgot my one request. But other than that it was an amazing fun Vegas wedding! -

Awesome place to have a wedding....IF YOU'VE GOT MONEY TO BLOW!!!!! They will charge you extra for EVERYTHING!! They do a GREAT job, but they make you spend the big bucks!!!! They are very strict for all of their policies and don't bend on anything -

Overall my husband and I were very pleased with the way our wedding turned out. We could not have asked for a better photographer and pastor. We loved dealing with both of them, and would highly recommend them to anyone. The flowers were beautiful.
One of the biggest issues we had was the having the wedding play online. We at first we under the impression that it would be live. We had family and friends waiting to watch it. We were not to happy to find out that it would not be live. On the flip side of that. The company that did the filming was very timely in making it as right as possible. They kept their word and had it up within the two hours like they said. For that we were very grateful. -

We stayed at the Mirage while in Vegas for our wedding. he service and experiee were good, but average. You expect people to go above and beyond when they know it is for your wedding and that did not happen. We were told that our room would be upgaded on arrival, which I realize there is no guarantee for, but the first room they put us in ha two double beds...what couple on their honeymon wants two double beds!
Overall, the experience was great and I would say there again! -

The entire wait staff was wonderful from the cashiers to our busser to the cooks and bartenders... Everyone was wonderful they ever played wedding music without us asking. The food was what we paid for I was expecting a little better selections but the unlimited drink package was a hit with the guests. The only issue had which prevented me to give Cravings a 5 star was their manager. HE was the only gentleman in a suit... towards the end so the service I was gathering up last minute $$ from last minute guests. The Manager on duty walked into a circle of my friends i was attempting to walk through and said "MISS STUCKER YOUR CARD DECLINED YOUR SHORT $$"..... HOW DARE HE... DOES HE NOT KNOW PROFESSIONALISM? I WORK FOR AN AIRLINE AND WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING OF THAT NATURE...... ESPECIALLY ON SOMEONES WEDDING DAY.... HE IS VERY VERY LUCKY.... I WAS FEELING NICE AND STRESSED FROM MY WEDDING DAY AND THE GROOM AND BROTHER IN LAW DIDNT HEAR WHAT HE SAID TO ME.... -

Very very disappointed
We booked as wedding package that included ceremony and minister, reception and catering, photography for ceremony ( only 12 pictures) and paid extra for reception photography. We did not care for the decorations that were offered for the ceremony or reception so we brought our own which was made known pretty early on but the price or offering could not be adjusted accordingly even though they did not have to purchase them so I paid for theirs and our own. Upon arrival after driving from the east coast we unloaded the decorations to go up to our room and find that valet is closed ( which we understand because of COVID) but we have to park in oversize parking as our car won’t fit into the parking garage because of our cargo carrier and a very very low ceiling in the garage, oversize parking is a half mile away and I am getting over Leukemia. So I did this 4 times a day for 10 days and handicap parking apparently is not a option. When the time came to take our decorations down to the venues we were told that it will be $20 a cart to take them down and that’s after we have had to purchase them ourselves so our wedding party is now frantically running decorations down and trying to get ready themselves. The wedding photography is a tale in itself that I will include at the bottom of this review. When it is time to leave after everything is done we have a bellhop come up to take everything downstairs which is quite a bit he tells us that he will not put anything on the cart himself because of COVID and we have to do it, he also states that other bellhops don’t mind but he does because he’s about to retire and is not taking any chances, at this point all he has to do is push it downstairs and I unload the cart myself for the same reason, ( after walking a half mile to go get my car) I try to give him a $10 time regardless and he throws a tantrum telling me to keep it and apparently I need the $10 more than he does and he deserves more. This was the cherry on top of the entire event. Here is my review for the photography.
To say that my wife and I are disappointed is beyond a understatement. We held a wedding at The Mirage in Las Vegas expecting that as Sight and Sound is the company contracted for them that we would be receiving service that is on the same level but this was far from the case. We had multiple calls before our event in order to set expectations of what we did want and didn't want pertaining to our wedding photography but obviously this was washed over and the photographer still did exactly what he ( Keith ) wanted as far as shoot ( or not shooting a lot of ) our wedding. In our calls before our wedding we had a few request that are not very difficult to accomplish especially by what Sight and Sound states is one of the best photographers in Las Vegas, Our request were as follows, No strange angled shots from the sides of the event as we want the photographer in the middle of the ceremony even if it gets in the way of our guest photos in order to get the best pictures possible for our memories but he stayed in the shadows most of the time. No close up framed shots as we would like to be able to edit and frame them ourselves later and it would give us more to work with at that time and we were told that would be fine and easy to accomplish and this did not happen as well ( checking deeper into Keith's profile later it states that he " zooms in and lines it up and framing is his main objective". We requested that we not have shots below our eyelines as my wife and I have smaller eyes and it makes them appear closed and adds a double chin to us, They give us a photographer that is extremely short in stature even compared to my 5ft 4in wife and instead of giving him something to stand on or him using a tripod or monopod to elevate the camera it was decided that we would just have to deal with it. The photographer also did not get any solo shots of the flower girl , the groom signing the marriage license, the father of the bride giving the bride away, only a far away and back of the hand shots of the rings being put on the hands. It was stated beforehand that we wanted as many posed pictures as possible of ourselves, wedding party and guest but 95% of the photos are of a style shot in the background. We also requested that since we will not be able to see ourselves in the shots obviously that if there is hair, clothes that are out of place such as sleeves, jackets, awkward hand/limbs crooked necklaces and such that it be corrected and this didn't happen. During the ceremony we obviously were not able to direct or speak with the photographer as were getting married but all of the shots after the main ceremony had to be posed and directed by my wife or bridal party EVEN THOUGH it was stated over and over by my wife " why am I having to do this myself?" " Why is Keith shooting below our eyeline" over and over and over without any resolution. It was stated later by Sight and Sound that Keith was too frustrated with the situation because he perceived that he was being called "Short" but this was not the case as we only wanted a solution to a problem that we spoke about repeatedly before the wedding. One of the main things THAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU IN ADVANCE and only found out because we happened to ask is that you cannot get any more than 12 pictures of your event unless you pay them a extra $600 for the rights to them even though you have already paid for the service which is right in line with extortion or being HELD HOSTAGE as we would not have known about this until after the service and didn't find out about it until it was too late to get another photographer. We only had one chance at getting these pictures that we paid for as we are only getting married ONCE and we can never get these moments captured again and it is absolutely devastating that we payed so much and received so so little, We fought through Leukemia and a bone marrow transplant and waited 12 years to do this right only for it to be ruined by a photographer and SIGHT and SOUND.
