  Looked Amazing

  I hired Kiev for my destination wedding in Highlands, NC, based on her portfolio and reviews, as I was unable to meet with her beforehand for a trial (I am located in the midwest). She has a very calming and confidant presence, when we met the morning of my wedding I had no doubt that I would be very happy with the results....and I was thrilled. I don't wear much makeup on a daily basis, my idea of evening makeup is black eyeliner and Burt's Bee's lip tint. I did know I needed and wanted more makeup on my wedding day, but I didn't want to feel like I didn't look like myself. I had originally requested airbrush although I had never had it done, it seemed that a lot of brides use that. Kiev discussed with me the pro's and cons, and I ended up not using it. I looked so good on my wedding day I wish I could look like that everyday. My makeup was natural, my skin looked flawless and glowing. She suggested false eyelashes, I was a little nervous about using them, but they looked so natural, and made a big difference. I could NOT feel the makeup on my face. I am one of those people that can't stand the feeling of face makeup. I couldn't feel that I had any makeup on all. My hair was exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to wear a veil, and she had suggested using a crystal comb just to give the style a little more formality since I wanted to wear my hair down. I looked great all day it, was a great experience working with her.

  Kiev was wonderful. Her portfolio and other work speaks well to her ability to do formal bridal makeup for feminine presenting women. What I appreciated most about her was the work she did on my more masculine presenting wife. She allowed my wife to look simply like a more polished version of herself without changing her gender presentation. This allowed my wife to both look and feel like her best self at her wedding. It is rare to find that outside of ultra-hipster places and made our wedding day all the more special.

  I am so happy that I found Kiev and The Makeup Unlimited. First the shop is casual and comfortable, you relax when you walk in.
  Kiev is a real professional who knows how to get the look you are going for. I have visited her for several different events and I always get many compliments on my make up and the pictures from the events are always the ones I want to share because she makes me look so good. I trust her completely, she really understands color and what works for you.
  You feel so pretty when you leave her shop but never over done. Her work always looks natural and never heavy. She uses great products that are natural and keep your skin healthy.
  I have sent friends to The Makeup Unlimited and they too have raved about the experience. She's the best.

  I found Kiev through a FB referral page where it seemed that everyone said she is the best in town. They weren't kidding I really liked that I was able to go to one person for both hair and makeup which was not what I found with other vendors I contacted. She also has her own studio in Buckhead. I had the option to do either tradtional or airbrush makeup which I also liked because most makeup artists I contacted were either one or the other.. I have never looked as good as I did on my wedding day. The makeup lasted through the night. My wedding party looked equally as good. My photographer said it was the least touch up she has ever had to do for wedding photos.

  Kiev did a wonderful job with my daughter's hair and make-up on her wedding day. Meredith and all 6 of her bridesmaids looked stunning! Meredith was unsure the morning of her wedding how she wanted to wear her hair. She had done a trial with Kiev last summer, but had decided on a totally different style dress and did not think the original hair style would be appropriate. Meredith lives on the west coast so it was not possible to do another trial before the wedding. Kiev took all this in stride and after a few minutes of talking with Meredith and "playing around" with different styles Kiev was able to suggest the perfect style.
  
  Also Kiev did my hair and make-up,too. I have never received so many compliments. Being MOB can be a stressful job and working with some wedding vendors can be stressful, but not Kiev. She is a true professional.
