My husband and I got married in October 2011 at The Delaney House. We are so glad we chose this place! Prior to our wedding, our coordinator, Diane, was very professional and always helpful. On the day of our wedding, Diane and Tori (our coordinator during the event) were great and responded promptly to everything we needed. Our main server for the night was more than helpful, and our bartender was excellent. We only received compliments about the Delaney House from all your guests, and the food was excellent, everyone enjoyed it! We are very happy! Thank you, Delaney House team!

I couldn't have picked a better venue for my big day!! My event consultant Chad was so flexible and walked me through every step of the way. They have a hotel right next to the Delaney house which made it really convienent for OT guests. The food is to die for and they have a pastry chef in house that makes delish and beautiful cakes! The ceremony spot is very romantic and beautiful. Great for outdoor pics! The also have a variety of upgrades like a Martiini Glass Ice scuplture (which I did) and they served a signature cocktail. Delaney House is by far the best venue in the area! I work in the wedding industry and hear a lot about different venues and I have never heard a negative thing about Delaney.

I was very frustrated with the Log Cabin throughout the planning process. While they do commit to "your day your way" I found the lack of communication pretty annoying. I'd e-mail and not hear back for a week or so, when I would finally get a response it wouldn't be sufficient. When our planner would confirm a meeting time, all the sudden the time was WAY different than the e-mail confirmed. While I know I could have called, e-mailing is much easier for me while I'm at work.

The tasting was horrible, they gave us a second one which was a bit better, but not much. The food the day of was much better than that, but still nothing too great.

All said, they REALLY pulled through on the day of. I could not have asked for anything else, especially for how cheap it is. The venue and all the details were set up EXACTLY how I wanted it and I was a very happy bride. The frustrations and annoyance were worth it in the end...again especially for the low cost.

When looking for reception venues, the Log Cabin immediately stood out. The location itself is gorgeous, with panoramic vistas overlooking the Pioneer Valley. The staff is very accustomed to working with weddings and were helpful throughout. We worked with Chad specifically, and a common theme of our wedding became, "We love Chad." He responded to each and every email within 24 hours and always was prepared with an answer. On top of that, he was a pleasure to interact with. The day of the wedding, the staff was very informative and helpful. The head server, Brittany, was continually checking on my husband and me and bringing us water and other drinks. Furthermore, the food was very good. (The tomato and mozzarella cocktail could have used less balsamic, but we all survived. The prime rib was fantastic).
I would offer only two complaints on the Log Cabin, both of which were very minor in the grand scheme of things. First, I wish that the person we worked with throughout (Chad) were also our Day-Of-Coordinator. This is not to say the DOC was sub-par in any way - just that it would have been comforting to have known that person beforehand. Second, you will notice the flexibility rating is lower than the other ratings. The Log Cabin has set menu and bar options. When we were trying to find ways to reduce the cost of the open bar, there were only so many options we could choose from (two bars that included hard liquors, but no beer-and-wine option, which I think we would have opted for if we could). Again, however, we want to reinforce that we loved the Log Cabin and everyone associated with it. (Also, the lead server gave me and my husband turkey sandwiches to take home with us, in case we were still hungry after the wedding. So nice!)

After getting a quote for having a back yard garden wedding, we decised to talk to the Delaney House about their tented area. We are so glad we did. Really all we had to do was show up and pay. Seriously they took care of everything. We dropped off the decorations on Tuesday before the wedding and showed up on Saturday to a beautiful set up. Working with Chad was a dream, he was responsive and willing to work with us to get what we wanted and needed for our day to reflect our personalities. I would not hesitate to use the Log Cabin, Delaney House again. Many of our guests have said that it was the best wedding they had been to. We didn't worry about a thing. The entire staff was responsive and professional. A small glitch regarding a bartender was made known to me by our guests only after the wedding. I mentioned it to the Delaney House in a follow up call but other than that the day was perfect!

The amazingly BEAUTIFUL location is the main reason we chose the Log Cabin for our wedding ceremony/reception site. Chad was wonderful to work with, our head server (Paul) on the day-of was UNBELIEVABLELY wonderful!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the candy buffet. I was nervous about the presentation because there were no pictures or examples available for me to look at to decide if we wanted to go ahead with it or not. However, we decided to do it because the Log Cabin had been wonderful throughout and we threw our trust into them with it. It was a lot more small-scale than i was expecting. However, the remaining 98% of the entire experience was wonderful!

It was my mom's idea to do our wedding here, so naturally, I was against it. However, it turned out to be awesome. Everything was spot-on. And, I can't imagine having held my wedding anywhere else! ;-)

It was a beautiful place, but when I contacted them, it took about a week for them to get back to me. They made it up though with setting it up immediately and making sure we got in when we wanted to.

Very flexible and made sure my husband and I had everything we needed. Delivered to our reception site on time and made a lovely buffet for us and the food was to die for! Service was excellent and all of our guest were ecstatic! We were told more than a dozen times how it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Amazing!

We had a great wedding. Our reception was a blast and ran smoothly. The views from the cocktail area are amazing. Our event planner Chad was great to work with.

The planning of the wedding was fantastic, and the venue was very willing to please and helpful. The day of the wedding, and the some of the food was not what we were execting. We had some issues that, luckily, our guests didn't know about, but was an inconvenience to us both that day and when we returned from our honeymoon. We received the backoffice notes from our wedding day, and the coordinator had not accurately recorded the events, and tried to blame us for the wedding not going on time as planned. In her notes she also bashed me as a bride and it was a very hurtful and disappointing thing to see.
Overall, I would recommend this venue, but be sure to be very clear on your expectations so there are no surprises.

Exquisite place. The guy was very professional and nice; he had recently gotten married too. The place and view was absolutely incredible!

The Log Cabin was absolutely perfect, from the meeting with the planner to viewing the venue and chosing our food and room for the nights. Their professionalism was outstanding and their flexibility was as well. When choosing our menu for our night we were having trouble not only because of how good everything was but because we were intimidated by the packages they had pre-set on the website and in the packet they gave us upon booking. When we went in to meet with Donna after tasting and explained out budget and our concerns she was able to make an a-la-carte menu to our exact specifications that was everything we wanted and none of what we did not want, it was perfect. If you are considering the log cabin for your day i strongly recommend it, it may not be the cheapest place there is but if you love a beautiful view or a beautiful sunset in the fall (as i had) and you demand the best food and service in western Massachusetts the log cabin is a must! Go meet with a planner and see for yourself! Hope this helps...

Great venue! Food was delicious, staff was friendly, and everything went smoothly! They really take care of everything for you to ensure your day goes perfectly. You don't have to worry about a thing. Beautiful views of Mount Tom Valley - perfect for pictures!
