    Jason and the Inn staff made our wedding day perfect. My husband and I are so happy we chose IHR for our venue, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a rustic, intimate, and classy venue. Many of our guests commented on how they would love to return to the Inn for a stay sometime, and that it's a hidden gem that they are glad they were introduced to. The event went smoothly, the food was excellent, and the staff treated both the wedding party and all of my guests like royalty. For the sake of constructive criticism, the only tiny snag was the staff did not have cake cutting supplies ready on our cake table when it was time for our cake cutting, causing us to stand awkwardly next to our cake and stall while we had to track a service staff member down. This was SO minor, though. The owner himself was present and helpful with even the smallest detail. It is the small things that communicate that they truly care about your experience. Unfortunately, one of the Inn's rockstars, Leah (wedding coordinator) resigned a few weeks before our wedding, which of course caused anxiety. We really appreciate how seamless everything went despite losing Leah; Jason, the owner, stepped up and is extremely experienced in the wedding scene. Everything was seamless thanks to him. My husband and I will definitely be returning for a stay one day, and we will always hold the IHR in a special place in our hearts. They took my vision for my wedding day and made it a reality.

    Leah and the staff at the Inn at Honey Run were accommodating and wanted nothing more than for us to have the perfect wedding experience. Everyone had a smile and went above and beyond. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was perfect. We easily plan to spend anniversaries here as we never want to forget our amazing day.

    I would highly suggest you contact Leah A., an excellent wedding planner, at The Inn at Honey Run. She wanted to make my daughter's day exactly as envisioned, and she DID! Her professionalism, organization, and attention to detail were amazing on this exceptional day...one that we will always remember and, above all, cherish. Leah was there from our first phone call to check out after our event! Thank you for everything, Leah!!

    Leah rocks! I emailed her on a Friday asking to get married on the following Wednesday and she made it all possible. The Inn was beautiful, the ceramony was fantastic, and the food was equally as fabulous. I would recommend them as a place to eat, stay, and if in need a place to share vows!!

    Melissa and I couldn't have asked for more from the staff at the Inn. The venue was perfect and Leah went above and beyond to make sure everything came together.

    Get married here! I'm so happy with our decision! The inn is absolutely gorgeous; nowhere in Millersburg compares. The quality of service doesn't exist anymore. We were just overwhelmed with how well done everything was. Leah Addison is amazing- and this doesn't even begin to explain how much hard work she did for us. She always "made it happen". Leah works hard, and that, if any, is an understatement. From a couple who is rather particular on what they want, she always maintained her professional stance, she was always more than polite,and went out of her way on our wedding day more times than I can count. The service from the staff is just amazing. We were waiting to be seated for dinner at the Tarragon restaurant the night before our wedding, having discussions about the next day and the hostess did not interrupt us, she waited. That just doesn't happen at a "regular" restaurant. The rooms, the landscape, wildlife- This place is class. It's exactly what we were looking for and I can't wait to go back!

    My husband and I just got married at The Inn at Honey Run a little over a week ago and we are still can't stop smiling over how perfect our day was. We worked with Rachael Koontz and she was a complete rockstar. The venue is absolutely breathtaking and makes for a gorgeous backdrop for all elements of your day. I am not an overly creative person when it comes to decorations so it was so nice to be able to have simple décor that was naturally dressed up by the nature surrounding everything. It is the perfect venue for a small wedding getaway in the middle of Amish country. I would highly recommend The Inn at Honey Run for any couple looking for a unique, country wedding venue in Ohio.

    The staff and service at The Inn At Honey Run was amazing. Jill Smith was our wedding planner and she was extraordinary kind and flexible throughout the process. The setting was perfect, the atmosphere was perfect, and the generosity of everyone was perfect. And, the FOOD was amazing. It was a meal that everyone is still talking about weeks after the wedding. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a single thing. If you are looking for a quiet setting where you will be treated like a royal couple for the day, The Inn At Honey Run is definitely the place.

    Beautiful location! Leah was very helpful and was literally the best during our event. It was slightly expensive in all aspects which is the only reason why value isn't at 5 stars. They were very thorough and helpful and made sure our guests and us were taken care of throughout our stay.

    Our wedding was GORGEOUS!! The staff at The Inn At Honey Run was so helpful and easy to work with. They made sure to get every detail the way we wanted it. The property itself is incredible! There are tons of places to take beautiful wedding photos. Our guests had a great time and absolutely loved the food! It was so convenient since everything took place right there. The rehearsal dinner at the Tarragon Restaurant, the ceremony in the Treetop Pavilion and the reception in the Sage Room all turned out great! If I had to do it all over I would choose The Inn At Honey Run again, without a doubt! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The day was just perfect :)

    I was lucky enough to get married at the Inn at Honey Run this summer and it was an absolute dream. My husband and I feel like we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to get married. The atmosphere has an extremely peaceful, grounding presence, the woods and the open air art museum are STUNNING, and the Inn is extremely comfortable. The staff did an incredible job making sure our wedding day ran smoothly. The one thing to keep in mind is there is a 22% gratuity added to everything when it comes to weddings. That is not often included when they price things out, so make sure to add that if you want an accurate idea of what your wedding would cost. It is well worth the money you'll spend. We are so lucky we found the Inn!

    It is a beautiful venue. The wedding coordinator, Leah Addison, is a delight, accommodating and professional. The exclusive caterer for the venue is spectacular and you will not be disappointed with any of the meal options. I would highly recommend this venue.

    Attended a wedding here and everything was lovely ! People and service was great! Beautiful place ! I would definitely consider this for my wedding.

    Micro Wedding, 10/20/2018

    Had a Micro Wedding/elopement at the Inn on 10/20/2018. Initially, the microwedding package seemed like everything I desired (and more) as I knew I wanted some amount of a ceremony but didn’t want anything big or costly. I noticed there hadn’t been any reviews on the Inn since 2017 and here is why.

    We met with Hannah Roscoe (our “dedicated wedding specialist”) in May, shortly after being engaged to tour the venue and put down our deposit. At this time, everything seemed like rainbows and sunshine as Hannah was very accommodating and helpful. She walked us through step by step of where we would have our ceremony, cocktail hour and our dinner options. SOLD! I was thrilled. Fast forward a few weeks later, I emailed Hannah and told her my mom would like to see the venue, as she hadn’t yet, and inquired if there was anything she needed to meet with me about while I was there. She emailed back and told me to let her know when my mom and I arrived and she would meet up with us. So, I did just that. When Hannah met with my mom and I it was extremely evident that she had no idea who I was, what kind of wedding I was having, etc. I, again, inquired about the remaining balance (how it needed to be taken care of, card on file, etc.). Hannah assured me it was no big deal and would be taken care of later. Fast forward to the following Monday (this all was on a Friday), I receive an email from Hannah asking how I was doing and explained that she didn’t have a card on file for the remaining balance of my wedding. UM, HELLO?! You just saw me last Friday, I specifically asked about the remaining balance and then to receive an email like that 72 hours later (after I felt she had no idea who I was face to face) was a little unsettling.

    A little under a month before our wedding, things really got bad. Hannah called me to touch base on a timeline for our wedding date and I followed up on her previous promise for us to be able to check in early, as I had hair and make up coming to the Inn for myself and my wedding party. Hannah responded, “We never guarantee an early check in”. I mean, really? Probably the wrong thing to say to an already overwhelmed bride. My mom ended up calling Hannah and explaining the importance of an early check in and how I hadn’t asked anything of Hannah at all and that this was the least she could do. Hannah told my mom that she had called me at times and it took 3 days for me to call her back. I work full time as a RN and am a full time MBA student... I feel she’s lucky it took only 3 days. During the back and forth with the early check in, Hannah also informed me that the Hearth Room where we were to have our cocktail hour is a “public room” and would cost $150 to reserve. This was fine, however, would have been nice to know up front and not under 30 days before our wedding.

    Here’s the icing on the cake: Hannah sent me an invoice for the remaining balance 7 days before our event and asked for authorization to charge it to my card. Sure, go ahead. Transaction complete, charged shows up on my account, all things taken care of. The day before our wedding I receive an email form Hannah stating that she attempted to run the remaining balance and it was declined and asked if I had anything else she could use. SERIOUSLY?! The remaining balance had already been taken care of, hence why my card declined another DUPLICATE LARGE CHARGE down to the PENNY. I was furious!

    Moral of the story: pretty venue, good pricing, food was OK. “Dedicated wedding specialist” TERRIBLE. I would NEVER have a big wedding here and put it in her hands. This is why the reviews on the website stop after 2017 when Hannah took over. So thankful I never have to do this again.

    I am terribly sorry to hear of some of these incidents. We take a lot of pride in offering a top notch wedding venue with service and planning being of the utmost priority. I can assure you that we are taking your feedback very seriously. We have addressed all of these issues with our staff and have also made some changes to our packages to further our quality of service for future weddings - including a room reservation for the night prior to the wedding, allowing the wedding party to have access to the room all day and even the evening before.

    While we completely understand your frustrations, we are pleased we were able to accommodate an early check-in at 11:30am, 90 minutes before the requested time, and that the ceremony and reception came together beautifully as planned.

    It was an absolute honor to host your wedding, and we truly appreciate your feedback. We hope to see you back at The Inn for a special occasion.
