Julie made sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. She worked with us in any needs we had. I would recommend this venue to anybody.

I had a few problems with The Golf Club at Fossil Creek.

Beginning with the tastings. We went back FIVE TIMES just to get the menu straightened out. The first time I had told Julie that my parents would be coming to the tasting as well. She forgot, and we all had to cut appetizers in half to try. The other times were not all Julie's fault. The alfredo sauce was...gross. So we kept trying different things with the chef and eventually brought in our own recipe. (Which was actually really, really nice for them to let us do)

The rehearsal. Some of the members/my dad wear nearly run down by golf carts (employees, not golfers) during our rehearsal, after she told me that the area would be blocked off. Also, the sound system was not set up for our music to practice with. As I got there, Julie was just leaving to go pick up money from another client. Ifelt that she should have been there to answer questions about our event. Even though she was not a wedding planner, she is still the event coordinator for our EVENT.

The Day Before. After being somewhat upset after the rehearsal, we (husband, father, and me) called Julie to let her know our concerns. (There was a wall that was covered in dust, trash all over the lawn, would she be at the wedding to make sure her staff behaved correctly?, why weren't you at the rehearsal?, why did golf carts almost run us over?, why was someone else using the sound system when we were told it would be available and setup upon arriving for the rehearsal?, why was the grass only reseeded a few days prior when we were told it would have been a month or so before?, etc.) Julie really had nothing to offer but an apology and excuses. I was left feeling completely worried about what would happen on the wedding day.

The Day Of. I got to the venue a little early to take a look at the florist's progress. She was supposed to be hanging flowers from the ceiling and I was VERY excited. I get there, and to my dismay there were close to none. After talking to my florist, she told me that when she tried to put the flowers up, the venue told her that due to insurance reasons she would not be allowed to do so. This made me EXTREMELY upset, because I had asked Julie 1-2 months before that if hanging flowers from the ceiling would be okay. Julie said that it would be no problem, and that there was a ladder she could use. Also, I lost $400 in flowers because of this.

The dirt on the wall and the trash on the lawn were still there. My mother had to remind Julie, and still nothing was done.

The ceremony chairs were dirty, which showed up well since the chairs were white.

One of the worst things- every picture of my dad walking me to the altar is ruined by golf carts. I was told more than twice that the area would be blocked off- a complete lie. I can never get that moment back.

After the ceremony when everyone came inside to start drinking, the keg we had paid for was frozen. Julie did fix this problem, and I really appreciate her making this right. Everyone got free beer.

The alfredo sauce was not the recipe we had given the chef.

The staff did the set up/clean (minus what we brought in), and was very friendly. I got LOTS of compliments and people saying that my wedding was the best they'd ever been too. Julie was there the night of and was very helpful, and venue looked beautiful.

I don't feel I got 6000 worth...not even close. I would not recommend this venue.

We had our wedding and reception here everything looked great. They did a great job in setting up the place inside and out. They allowed us to come early that day to set up our special touches outside and the extra things we wanted to the inside as well. They even helped with putting the center piece diamonds and rose petals that I wanted on each table. We bought scented candles for around the place to give it that special touch they even placed those out for us as well. When ever I had a question about something Julie was always there with the answer or she got back to me quicly with it. The food was really good.

This site is beautiful! We had our reception here and had rave reviews! The food is great! By far the best wedding food I've ever had. The prices are reasonable, and the staff does all of the set up for you.
