I choose Caribbean Music connection based on their reviews and on the price. The price was certainly within my budget and was exactly what I needed. The ceremony was perfect, the violinist played only and was exactly what I wanted. The DJ was also good for the reception hour and everyone enjoyed themselves. But what bothered me most was even though they had a program and listing of songs for certain times and dances and even the names of the wedding party they just didn't start off on the right foot. First of all, as the wedding party was being introduced the names were called out of order, our best man was even called my husband's name. Then when it came to our first introduction, they couldn't remember our names??? They eventually got it but that's shouldn't have been a bump in the road. What was most annoying for me was the first dance, they played the wrong song and I had to stop them and tell them and walk over to correct the DJ, to top it off even when I said stop, they continued to play the song in the background. After all this, the reception was fine but I would definitely recommend them for ceremony and cocktail hour but not for the reception. Sorry guys, wish it was better.

The bride was giving a reception planner for her to fill out that we need to have so everything goes smooth with minimal mistakes Bride sent an email with a summary but no form included as asked due to this oversight in her part mistakes where done.
During the protocol the mc was given a cell phone provided by the wedding coordinator very unprofesional that did not have the names in the order to be presented and was missing the name of the bestman the dj did told the coordinator that she should do the protocol since he was not responsible for the brides neglect to send the proper forms so I decided in good faith to do it but as I was ready to start with the coordinator's cel in hand missing name, as I started I got a text from the nurse at the hospital saying that my mother died of a heart attack so in that sense I do apologize for the misspelled of the name since my mind went blank plus being 6 month pregnant ( the same as the bride) did not help as for the first dance the dj used the summary that the bride sent and the songs was placed in the wrong order. Overall of the wedding we did our job the best we could do without the proper forms we feel this review was not fair since the client did not provide all the details of this event including the wedding coordinator that it was her idea to use her cell phone and denied us the opportunity to verify that the order she gave us was exactly as she arranged them outside and it wasnt. Bride should have comunicated with us before placing this review to get all the facts first it is very simple to blame the musicians.
