I got married at the Beachhouse on October 20th. It was a very good experience! I very much enjoyed working with Nicole and Shawn. They were both so very helpful and answered my millions of questions and made sure that I was comfortable with everything. Then the day of it was even more than I expected. It was beautifully set up and Nicole's attention to detail was incredible. Everyone was so impressed and thrilled with the way things turned out; I couldn't have been happier. The food was good everything went pretty smoothly with the serving and accommodating for my photographer. The pictures are exceptional! If done all over again I wouldn't change a thing! Thank you for a very special day!!

We did our ceremony on the beach right behind the restaurant and held the cocktail hour and reception in the restaurant's north pavillion. Nicole and Shawn at the BeachHouse did an excellent job, from answering our millions of questions about the venue to arranging for a vegan option on the menu. Major points for their willingness to offer a vegan option--This was a must for us, and Nicole worked with the kitchen staff to make sure we had something amazing. We got lots of compliments on the food from our guests; I only wish I'd had more time to enjoy my meal! The restaurant clearly has plenty of experience doing weddings for out-of-towners, which made for stress-free planning for us.

We had our wedding and reception here and it was absolutely wonderful!!! Everything from the planning, venue, atmosphere, food, set-up, service was perfect!! Shawn and Nicole were so helpful in the planning and making suggestions in making our wedding day so special...We received so many compliments from our guests on the location, food and staff--you really never wanted/waited on anything. The staff was so friendly and professional. Nicole even bribed our little ring bearer w/ice cream if he did a good job--LOL...It really was almost a fairy tale wedding--it couldn't have gone any better and it was in part because of the staff at the Beachhouse..I would highly recommend this location for anyone planning a very special occasion..

The Beachhouse was fantastic! We had a perfect wedding there.. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Shawn and Nicole were wonderful. They were such a big help in the whole process, as well as the day off. Can't say enough about them!

My daughter got married on October 3rd and since she and her fiance are in the Air Force in Charleston, I was happy to deal with all the arrangements. Shawn contacted me via email and we got started on the planning. When I finally met her, I found a new friend! She is one of the sweetest and most giving people I've ever worked with on any type of event. She was always upbeat and more than willing to work with me on minor details. If it wasn't for her, I don't think the event would have been as special as it was. The staff was so very efficient and always willing to accommodate our small party of 25 guests. There was a short wedding ceremony between the two gorgeous palm trees in the sand and we used the smaller north pavillion for an intimate dinner with a horseshoe style table set-up for our guests. I was originally concerned about the noise from another big wedding party in the south pavillion and restaurant patrons, but we couldn't hear them at all during the entire evening (and the large wedding had a DJ!). Our guests were so thrilled with the location, service and the amazing food. An absolutely PERFECT evening and extremely memorable wedding. Many thanks to all involved.

The beachhouse was great! Catherine and Shawn were so helpful from day one of planning until the end of our event. The event staff was on top of every detail, down to running to the store for our guests who needed tylenol etc. UNBELIEVABLE service. The food was excellent and matched every deion given to us during the planning stages. Every table was perfectly set up with clean, pressed linens. The reception area looked great! The staff worked so well with our DJ to ensure perfect timing and even prepared plates for me and my husband while we were having pictures taken, dancing and visiting with our guests. So many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! We have not stopped talking about how great our wedding and reception were at the Beachhouse. Words simply cannot give them justice. Thanks so much guys!!! We are forever grateful!

I started planning our destination wedding living in Virginia, just happened across the BeachHouse online. It was scary planning that far away, some before even seeing the place or meeting people face to face. But they far exceeded my expectations. Everything was taken care of from beginning to end, before needs even arose. I primarily worked with Shawn who is one of the sweetest most upbeat people I've ever met. She is such a pleasure to work with and took care of every detail perfectly. Our wedding day started a bit rainy, and she even hunted me down at the hair salon and found me via their phones to tell me everything was on schedule and we were going to go ahead as planned. And when she noticed the flowers hadn't arrived yet, she called the florist and had them there before I even had time to notice and address it. Impressive! Special diets were taken care of and my niece and nephew were treated like little princes and princesses, even at rehearsal. The food was amazing, my dad (who doesn't even eat shrimp) continues to talk about the coconut shrimp. And the guests tell me often that it was their favorite wedding they've ever been to, and they couldn't believe how great the food and service was. Many even went back for meals after the wedding they loved it so much! You will not receive better service or a better experience with your wedding (or even dinner!) than at the BeachHouse! I thank them so much for a wonderful wedding day!

We were looking for a location for our ceremony and reception and were very fortunate to book the Beach House. Everyone who we worked with were simply terrific. We had a heavy appetizer menu which received rave reviews from our guests (we had 43 people who attended the wedding). The restaurant is located directly on the gulf with views that had everyone ohhhhhing and ahhhhhing. The event planners were very flexible (I changed the time of the ceremony with no problem) and gave great advice. The price was awesome! We had an open bar, feed everyone great food, fantastic view of gulf for less than $1,700 for 43 people.
I also want to add a recommendation for our florist. We used the Island Florist and they were also wonderful! You will find out that there is a "wedding group" of businesses on Anna Maria and they only recommend each other to brides and grooms. So look around at ALL businesses since if someone hasn't paid to join the "wedding group" then they don't get recommended by the ones who have joined. Look at websites like this and take advice from happy brides and grooms.
Definately, the Beach House and the Island Florist!!

The coordinators were wonderful. They seemed to be very on top of things and willing to help me plan our destination wedding. It was difficult enough for me to plan in being that I am 1300 miles away, but they made it much easier/less stressful. Only a few minor complaints: The event was outside at about 6:00pm, so it was still very warm. The ceiling fans were not working, which made it a little less comfortable for me, but even more so for some of the elderly guests. We only had one server for 21 people, and I was not always able to find him when I needed him. Though, he was very nice and unintrusive.

This is a beautiful & natural beach venue with great service at a LOW price. Bradenton beach is the most beautiful beach on the West Coast of Florida!

Not very responsive or flexible to work with. The atmosphere was lovely, but we were not seated where we had agreed upon and the ordeal became fairly chaotic. Great food, average service.

The BeachHouse is a beautiful beach location for the wedding. The set-up is awesome! We had a few snags: the table arrangement for the bridal party, the timing of the dinner was late and the cheesecake needing fridge space. Aside from those 3 things (which all were resolved), everything was great! The food (which I didn’t get a chance to eat much) was fabulous & we’ve heard lots of great comments from guests about it and the service was really good. Over all, we love the place and were very happy with our day there!

We had the most beautiful, casual beach wedding with great servers. Mae was fantastic. This is an ideal place for a beach wedding - you have a "private" section of beach to yourself and the perfect place for dancing on the sand under the stars. The food (as it always is here) was delicious and it was absolutely everything we could have wanted and more!

We wanted a laid back atmosphere right on the water. We wanted elegant but beachy....and we wanted good food! The Beachhouse provided the perfect atmosphere. It was sometimes hard to get into contact with the manager, also we had some las tminute issues with them double booking our space. All issues were resolved, but lead ot some very stressful weeks leading up to the wedding. The food was wonderful, the servers were fantastic and the again the atmosphere is unparalelled. If casual and beachfront is what you are looking for...this is a perfect place.
