I absolutely LOVE my wedding invitations! I didn't expect the emotion I felt when I saw them in person for the first time. Well done, The American Wedding!

I had searched many websites for hours to find something that expressed my style. I wanted something simple yet elegant. You offer many different options and you let me choose the wording I wanted. No crazy extra fees for every little thing. I would give 10 stars if that was an option. I am so, so happy! The website was easy to navigate, editing the invitations was a breeze. I took advantage of a 40% off sale and saved BIG (hundreds of dollars compared to other web sites!!) I placed the order and had my invitations in less than 2 weeks. Amazing! One happy bride here! Our invitations express the elegance of our wedding, the wording expresses our story, the color is brilliant and gorgeous! (Catherine Invitation, plum shimmer) I definitely recommend this website to anyone.

We were quite pleased with the entire invitation selection and ordering process through The American Wedding. They had a lot of options for designs, an impressive amount of customization available (even down to the amount of spacing between lines, which could be adjusted based on what font you selected) that allowed for a really professional and personal final product. We loved being able to order samples of our favorite papers and designs; there's nothing like getting the real feel of it in your hands! And the price was very reasonable, which meant we felt we could spring for the lined inner envelopes for that touch of extra 'zing!' The sales rep who reached out to us was extremely helpful, and the printing and delivery quite fast.

Our invites were beautiful, exactly what we wanted, and the process was smooth. We decided to make a few changes to our first proof and they were very accommodating, getting it done without any issues. We even got lucky and the invitations we wanted became part of their weekly Flash 50% Off Sale so we jumped at it before we lost our chance to get an amazing deal on our invitations! This allowed us to add all the "bells and whistles" that we wanted without going above our budget. The quality was great and they arrived very quickly. Their selection was also much more varied than all the standard online invitation websites. In my opinion those other websites offered invitations that were too informal, overpriced, and way too contemporary, nothing classic and timeless like The American Wedding's offerings. I definitely recommend them and will be looking to purchase my thank you cards through them as well.

is company went way above & beyond to help me with wedding invitations as well as programs! We even rain into a mistake we made 3 days before the wedding and they reprinted them right away & we got them before the big day! Will definitely use them again when our other daughter gets married! I spent months looking for the perfect wedding invitations, and after receiving a few samples from The American Wedding, I ordered our Clutch Pocket invites and was incredibly impressed and in love with the product. This company also had the option of addressing the guest envelopes and return envelopes, which looked awesome and saved me a ton of time. We ordered RSVP post cards which were super cute and also saved us on stamps (post card stamps were significantly cheaper than regular stamps.) Finally, these products were exactly what I wanted and within my budget. Thank you!

Our invitations arrived yesterday and are perfect and beautiful! Really great value also, I got very nice invites on high quality paper with thermographic (raised ink) printing for about half of what other places wanted for so-so paper and laser printing. With a coupon the company sent me I was even able to get the lined inner envelopes and still stay well under my tiny ($100!) invite budget. Highly recommend!

I originally found a design I liked on their sister site: MyGatsby.com back in 2015. I couldn't find it early in 2016 when I was looking to start the process of designing and ordering invitations. I contacted their customer service and they informed me that it had been removed while they were working on their sites. They were nice enough to put it on theamericanwedding.com so I could start the process. I spent many days changing the design, the wording, the colors until I found the perfect combination. I contacted their customer service via chat plenty of times, asking general questions. I love sites that have the chat feature so you get a response quickly instead of waiting for an email. I ended up emailing back and forth with their rep, Alexis. She helped me with so much and was always very nice despite there being so many emails from me! :) She paid close attention to details, and when we noticed a coding error causing a color to show up in the design process but not on the invitation itself, Alexis assured me that she would take care of my order and make sure that she viewed all the pieces before it would be shipped out so it would only be my wedding colors. I have already suggested this site to my engaged friends, and will continue to do so. I got a great deal on my order as well, since as every bride knows, a great deal is always appreciated! (Items ordered: 2-layer invitation, RSVP card, Reception card, thank you cards, extra envelopes for invitations, plus included envelopes for invitations, RSVP, and thank you cards.)

I found out about The American Wedding from my best friend and her mother, as they had used this same site for her wedding invitations in 2014. I'm so glad I received this recommendation, as working with this company was super easy and my invites came in quickly! The invitations were elegant, but inexpensive and conveyed the atmosphere we were looking for during our winter wedding. Calling the company was easy and they set realistic expectations for shipping and delivery. I highly recommend this company if you're looking for reasonably priced invitations!

I ordered my invitations online and took a risk, because you can't see them or feel them until they are purchased and printed and sent to you.
They were more than I could have expected. The texture of the paper, the font, and calligraphy was perfect. I couldn't have been happier with the final product! I would totally recommend The American Wedding to any of my friends. Thank you!!

We used The American Wedding for our complete suite of wedding stationery and could not be more pleased with the results. After doing a ton of research (and quite a bit of business with other companies for other projects), we decided that TAW offered the best combination of value, range and customization, and--most importantly--quality. We were not disappointed. Many friends--lots of whom are also checking out wedding stationery--have remarked on the high quality of our save-the-dates and invitations, and they're floored when we tell them that we were able to select and fully customize them online and have them shipped right to our door in a little over a week. We have very discriminating tastes, but we give The American Wedding our highest recommendation.

I looked all over the web to find the best deal on some simple, but classic invites. The American Wedding had, by far, the best deals I could find anywhere - and even without the coupon code I found at the last minute, I was only going to pay about $130 for 50 count invites, rsvp cards, direction cards, and lined envelopes (all matte white with a simple silver border and just one font color)!! The font and wording options were excellent, and I loved that I could type out each line of the invite myself, to get the wording just right!
There were SO many font choices to pick from that I chose both my main fonts from just the A's - and they were shipped fast and exactly as pictured on the website!! Both the rsvp and direction cards came as fold-ables, and since I just wanted postcard style, I cut off all the blank halves and was able to create my own escort cards for the wedding from all the leftover cardstock! Couldn't have worked out better - highly recommend!

We selected the "Gwen" design -- I absolutely love it, classic but modern. Order shipped promptly, no complaints about quality on invitations or printing. The foil and debossed technique makes for a really elegant looking design without being super expensive. Envelopes could have been a little nicer, but that seems to be a very common complaint among all the mass market invitation companies so it's not a make or break issue. We had a 40% off coupon which made them VERY cost effective compared to other companies that have the foil technique. Overall we're very satisfied.

I got my wedding invitations online at The American Wedding. I originally was looking at an invitation suite on Etsy, but at $7 per invitation, I was paying more for the invitations than I was for my chair rentals! In the interest of staying within my budget, I started looking online. I came across the Cora Invitations and fell in love! I researched doing my own invitations on the same paper, but could not find anyplace in town or online that could beat the price. I ordered have of my invitations as a single layer and half as a double layer. I gave out the pricier invitations to family and close friends, and gave the less expensive version to coworkers. Both were stunning and high quality! I had the single layer version printed in gold thermography ink on aquamarine metallic paper and the double layer was gold thermography ink on white paper on top of the aquamarine metallic paper. They were truly elegant and beautiful and I loved them even more than the more expensive invitations I found on Etsy! I highly recommend The American Wedding.

The invitations were beautiful! It was hard to find elegant looking beach themed invitations that didn't cost a fortune, but they have them and they provide a sample set so you can tell how to compile it.
The address printing service was super helpful, and they were fast about sending everything.

I love, love, LOVE our invitations! They run great sales very often, so wait for them to put Wedding invitations at 40% off before you order. Ours are absolutely beautiful, and exactly what we wanted, and about 50% less even at full price than we were quoted everywhere else. We opted to put ours together ourselves instead of paying $1 an invitation for them to do it, and I can honestly say my only complaint is that I wish they had included a few more of the glue dots with them. Great value and quality!

I actually ordered invitations through this vendor twice. The first ones I ordered without showing to my mother first (she said she was fine with whatever we liked) but when I showed them to her she HATED them. Fortunately, The American Wedding staff was very responsive and was able to cancel the order and refund the charge very quickly! I was later able to find a different invitation (that we all liked) and place another order. The order was produced and shipped quickly, and the invitations came in perfect! I was super excited to send them out to our guests! I would definitely recommend shopping with The American Wedding for your invitations.

I ordered the Bright Beginnings invitations. I placed the order on Monday and received the invitations and RVSP on Saturday the same week! The cardstock they use is great. The is great quality also. I have started to asemble then and I am hoping they provided me with enough double sided tape. Otherwise, I had 0 issues. I would recommend this company to anyone. OHH and they usually have coupons. It used to be 20% order and they have since changed but I saved $35 which helps!!

THESE WERE THE BEST INVITATIONS! We were able to save a fortune on our 300 invitations, but they were beautiful. They looked like they were hand stamped and pressed and so amazing. We LOVE our invitations! At first we were skeptical ordering online and this was such a great deal compared to other companies but, we are very impressed with the quality of the invitations. The customer service is also outstanding! We called to ask about shipment and got to a 'real' person right away that helped us out even though we had lost our confirmation number.

We ordered our invitations from The American Wedding and could not be happier! They came out gorgeous, and their customer service is top notch. Despite proofing them many many times before ordering, I found a small mistake after I submitted them. I opened up a help desk ticket as soon as I saw it and they responded and fixed it within a few hours. The price is great and they always seem to have a sale. I absolutely love them!

When looking for invitations, I ordered samples from The American Wedding, David's Bridal, and Wedding Paper Divas. Of the three, The American Wedding had more of the style we wanted and a price range that could not be beat. We were surprised how inexpensive it turned out to be, and they seem to always have a 40% off promotion going on.
I ordered invitations, response cards, accommodation cards, and envelops for all. Everything was printed with thermography, including my address on all of the envelopes! Everything turned out BEAUTIFULLY! The paper is high quality, and you're able to customize just about everything! After ordering, I began to worry that I would not get the invitation in time to send out. But, to my surprise, they arrived less than a week later even with having The American Wedding assemble the invitations for me. The only negative is that I paid extra to have a black and white digital copy sent to me before production, to ensure everything was perfect. The digital copy I received was actually just a screenshot of what you see when customizing the invite (it wasn't even black and white), so I would not suggest paying for that.

After researching various sites, I finally decided to go with The American Wedding for our invitations. For the price, the quality of the invitations are quite impressive! Our invitations came out looking exactly like they were supposed to online. I had made the mistake of not reading carefully, so don't do what I did - some invitations require assembly! They were easy enough to put together. There were about 3 invitations with marks on them; I sent them pictures and the customer service rep was VERY accommodating! She sent out another 5 invitations at no extra charge and without hassle. Definitely recommend this company if you are looking for quality wedding invitations on a budget!

I received a magazine from The American Wedding in the mail. I liked the fact that they send you free samples in the mail, so you know exactly what you're ordering. I received the samples very fast. I took awhile to figure out exactly what I wanted, but when I was ready to order, the website made everything so easy. When I had questions, their website chat service was very fast to respond and very helpful. I received the invitations about 6 weeks after I ordered them. AMAZING products and value! We ordered the timeless love invitation and we were able to personalize it. The invitation was thermography and extremely elegant. I have no complaints about the invites we got from TAW. The website is great and you can see exactly what your invite will look like before you buy it. I love that you can change fonts, colors, etc. They often have sales and I got all my invites for under $200 with a coupon code they were promoting. They were shipped quickly (outside of the 2014 polar vortex weather issues that delayed them a bit) and were wrapped and packaged well. I think TAW is a great resource for couples who don't want to spend a ton of money on invites but want someting that looks good and is high quality.

You can't beat the quality of these wedding invitations for the price offered. I ordered 150 invites during a 25% off sale which saved us a ton of money. The invitations were beautiful and assembly was easy. The only thing was, in the original package they did not send me glue dots which were needed for assembly. I called them and they sent them to me right away. Then I realized I didn't have enough bows sent to me...again I called them and they rectified the situation immediately. I was very pleased with the quality and professionalism.

My FH and I had been ordering sample invitations from a number of different vendors. When we received the sample from American Wedding, we knew we had a winner. Although, we didn't want to stop there, we kept requesting samples from more vendors. After months of samples, we finally decided to go with American Wedding. There were others we liked, but the cost was way too much to spend on an invitation. American Wedding was definitely in budget, and we were able to take advantage of a sale with 20% off.
Since I didn't request AW to assemble my invitations, I really appreciated the sample they provided on how the final look should be. The invitation came with the crease so you wouldn't make a mistake when assembling it. Also, I requested 50 invitations and received 54. I'm not sure if they do this just in case some are damaged, but I'm sure the extras will come in handy. I will definitely recommend this vendor.

My husband and I were very pleased at the quality of the invitations we ordered from The American Wedding. We used a coupon (they have weekly coupons and deals) and we saved a significant amount (about $70 on our order). The card stock of the invitations was very thick and the thermography text/design was extremely elegant. Our invitations were bronze pearlized invitations with a black font and black damask print. The reception cards and RSVP cards were equally as elegant and beautiful. We also ordered lined envelopes which added even more formality to an already gorgeous invitation. We would highly recommend this company as their prices are reasonable and their quality is very good. We are very happy with our invitations and received many compliments from friends and family on them!

I thought it would be easy to order invitations, but it seemed either the paper quality was cheap or items were far out of our price range once you added the other inserts. I ordered samples from many online vendors and was so disappointed. Finally, a co-worker mentioned he had just ordered his invitations from The American Wedding and suggested I try it.
I ordered many samples and was happy with them. I chose the layered Victoria wedding invitations. I was able to do things like change the paper, font, ink colors, etc. and add a return address- for free! Thermography printing and lined envelopes were affordable. I was able to adapt the language to account for divorced parents and include information about our reception too- something other sites limit so you have to buy extra reception cards.
They arrived sooner than estimated. I had to assemble the layered invitations, but I knew that when I ordered them. I used double-sided tape to make them adhere a bit better than the sticky tabs included, and viola- affordable, beautiful, elegant, and great quality.
I received a million compliments. I am so grateful to have been able to afford these invitations. I had money left over to add thank you cards that match our invitation series.
Tip: order a few extra in case you mess up addressing the envelopes or if any ink is smudged. A few or our invitations had some small blotches (no one else noticed but me), but I'd ordered extras so this wasn't a problem. I'm sure I could have called and received replacements if I'd wanted, but I just rolled with it. I was so happy with this.

I actually didn't use The American Wedding for invitations (I ended up creating a wedding website and sending out initiations via e-mail using mywedding.com, which I HIGHLY recommend as it is 100% free), but I did use them for my wedding favor cards and reception menu cards. The American Wedding is hands down the least expensive online wedding paper product vendor I was able to find (and believe me I spend days searching the internet) and has tons of designs to choose from. My favorite feature is that you can literally change any color or font on the wedding menu to be what you want and they have tons of colors and font options to chose from. Unfortunately I do not think they advertise this well because the website only shows a couple of different options for each menu card design on the menu card home page, but once you select a design and get to the modifications page it will let you change literally everything on the menu card to be the way you want it and for most designs there is no extra charge for picking multiple colors/fonts. Be careful on how long you wait to place your order, ours took about 2 weeks to arrive, but when they did we were pleasantly surprised. They looked awesome, super professional and about a 3rd of the cost compared to other vendors. I highly recommend their products.

I am so very pleased with my order. The invitations arrived today and they are beautiful! I could not be more satisfied. I am so relieved to see that they look EXACTLY the same in person as they did on the website when I was creating them. My fiancee was thrilled to hear my excitement after opening the package.

I found the website EXTREMELY easy to use. I really enjoyed testing the fonts and colours on the various card styles. And, the choice of colours, fonts, and styles is very impressive.

What REALLY impressed me and made me so happy I went with The American Wedding company for my invitations is the morning after I submitted my order, I realized I forgot to add an important detail to the Reception information. I looked forever for the perfect invitations but nothing seemed quite right. Finally I stumbled onto theamericanwedding.com and I found the perfect invitations! We were getting married at Paris Las Vegas, with the reception next door at Bally's and they had an invitaion called Viva Las Vegas that showed both!!!! It had a translucent overlay over it with the writing on it and it was just amazing! I got to write out the perfect wording and added a different color for our names. When I got them in the mail I was just so thrilled! They were absolutely gorgeous!

All of our invitations, RSVP cards, favor tags, seating cards, etc. turned out beautiful. The flexibility of this vendor is awesome and the price is downright CHEAP!!! Will be using them to help my sister with her upcoming wedding as well.

I just received my invitations today and am so happy I went with this company! The quality is better than I expected, the price was extremely reasonable and they are exactly what I wanted!
I spoke to customer service twice- once with a question on color, and the second time to see if they would apply a coupon that I had received by email 3 days after I placed my order. Not only were they professional and accommodating, but the response time was quick, and they applied the % off. I received my invites 10 days after the order was placed. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Initially wrong sized envelopes were shipped with the order. One phone call to a very pleasant customer service rep and the new envelopes were on their way. We received our initial order quickly and the correct envelopes were received within 3 days of my call.
I will recommend The American Wedding to any family or friend who is planning a special event!

I just received our wedding invitations in the mail last week and I LOVE them! At first when I opened the package I was disappointed because there was an error on the actual invitation part...however, a simple phone call to customer service and everything was taken care of! They immediately admitted to the mistake and had new ones printed and sent to me within the week, at no charge to me. I am so happy with how they came out and LOVE the price we got them at too!

Excellent, excellent quality. The paper is heavy and elegant, and the simple design is very classy. Raised print (thermography) looks lovely. These are beautiful, professional invitations at an incredibly affordable price. I ordered samples ahead of time, and that was very useful in helping me decide on which design I liked best. I was in touch with at least ten vendors for invitations, and The American Wedding was the best. I highly recommend them.

I did not want to spend a fortune on wedding invitations. I received a catalog from The American Wedding and was a little nervous about purchasing online. However, the website was easy to use and they send an electronic "proof" before purchasing. Their prices are great and shipping was fast and easy!

I loved my wedding invitations. They did take over two weeks to receive in the mail, but the company was responsive to all of my questions and concerns. The quality was amazing.
