Our wedding day was perfect !

With my husband we wanted to thank Cara and all the team from The Estate for everything, we had a blast and everything was perfect in our wedding day, the food was amazing and we wanted to thank all the team for all the work and help. May God bless you and we would recommend the venue to everyone !! Everything was so beautiful. It was a pleasure to work with you guys. The fact that you have this package that allows to enjoy the venue, stay overnight in Agatha’s house and includes the food made everything so special and easy to work with. All our guests were amazed by how beautiful it’s the venue, how good was the food and portions and we all had so much fun ! We can’t thank you guys enough! May God bless you

Cook Wedding November 2024

The Estate on Halifax was the most breathtaking venue we could have ever dreamed of for our special day. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were captivated by its charm, elegance, and beauty. The meticulously maintained grounds, stunning gardens, and picturesque chapel provided the perfect backdrop for every part of our wedding. It felt like a fairytale brought to life!

Cara was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. She was attentive, organized, and always went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Her expertise and warm demeanor made what could have been a stressful process seamless and enjoyable. She genuinely cared about making our day unforgettable, and it showed in every aspect of the event.

On the day of the wedding, everything ran flawlessly. The staff at the Estate on Halifax was professional and accommodating, ensuring our guests felt welcomed and cared for. Every corner of the property exudes elegance, creating endless opportunities for gorgeous photos.

Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more, thanks to Cara and the stunning Estate on Halifax. We will forever cherish the memories of this beautiful day and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a truly magical experience.

Enchanting - A True Fairytale Venue

After we got engaged, my husband had suggested Florida as a destination wedding spot. It made sense for us, as it was the "half way" point for both of our families. Upon our research, the Estate on the Halifax was one of the highly renowned venues that popped up on the list. We were immediately blown away by the aesthetics without even seeing it! It was charming, elegant, and resembled almost a small village straight out of a fairytale. Cara was always super responsive, professional, and helpful. She even gave us pointers and recommendations that not only fit our budget but were quite a success with our guests.

Cara's family owns the property and there are a multitude of locations to hold the ceremony. My husband and I got married outdoors under the gazebo - a stunning location. The reception is held (typically) hybrid between Snow White's Cottage (for the cocktail hour) and the Tavern. On the night of your wedding, Cara allows you, your spouse, and a couple of close friends/family to stay a night in Agatha's Guesthouse, an elegant, spacious, classic looking house overlooking the water. Agatha's Guesthouse is also where my bridal party and I got ready. My husband and the groomsmen got ready in the stationary train car posted on the property - there are also train tracks surrounding the property giving in that storybook village feel.

Overall, 10/10 would recommend this venue! Affordable, stunning, and intimate!

This venue was the BEST choice made to carry out the wedding!

I was blown away by the entire affair. The servers were on point and made sure everything was handled exactly as envisioned and more. They gave additional insight that went further than what I had, which helped to make it the perfect wedding. We had accounted for the outdoor wedding but Mother Nature had other plans. There was no hesitation to bring everyone into the church for the ceremony instead of making everyone wait for the rain to pass. The bridal room was gorgeous as we prepared for the biggest day, so far, of my life. The groom and his groomsmen had there own little spot which was cute but crowded when everyone was in the train, I honestly that it was a cute idea. The grounds was amazing! There were so many spots that made the pictures turn out great. If you're looking for a place to go, I highly recommend this venue!

Absolutely amazing!

Gorgeous landscaping, amazing people, perfect setting for yoir perfect day. If you ever dreamed of a carefree day, this is the place to be, Cara helps to make everything easy. She is quick to answer messages and always cares. If I could give them more stars I would.

Absolutely beautiful!!

Can I give this venue 100 stars???? They were absolutely phenomenal! This place is gorgeous and honestly worth every penny. There's so much room because you have access to all the grounds and it was so nice to be able to stay the night here on our wedding night. We got to have a few close friends hang out with us that night and have a little after party as well. It was also perfect to be able to roam the grounds the next morning as they didn't have a wedding the day after ours. Cara and the team were excellent and we couldn't have picked a better, more beautiful venue for our wedding

The best day ever!

I don't even know where to start because 5 STARS and the word amazing does not do the Estate on the Halifax and team enough justice!! After watching the youtube tour of the Estate I thought, I need to go see this place now! In all honesty seeing it in person will blow you away, because the video tour was great, but in person it is actually a thousand times better!! We got married on 9.10.22 at The Estate, and it was BEYOND PERFECT! Not only is the venue one of the most beautifully manicured places I’ve ever been to for an event, Cara and her team/family are PHENOMINAL!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because they deserve ALL THE STARS!! This location has all the charm! From the beautifully landscaped gardens, to the ornate on-site locations for day of wedding party prep, it was all so over the top!! This venue literally has it all!! I looked all over Florida for the perfect venue for our wedding, and nothing compares to this Estate! The gardens, the warm glow of the reception hall, the fun train car / man cave, the oh so sweet Agatha’s house with all the vintage charm, the whimsical oak trees, the lush greenery, a fun Snow White Cottage in the garden, the ponds, the statues… it literally checks ALL the boxes!! On top of the great things I just mentioned; the process was made so seamless! From our first chat at the open house on the Estate, to the contract, easy payment options, helping answer any questions quickly, then the meeting before the event, Cara was so on point and made it so easy on me!! She really was on top of everything, and anything I was worried about, she took care of it all!! You are wonderful and so appreciated!!!

Beautiful venue and wonderful staff

I can’t say enough about how MAGiCAL my wedding day was. The estate is wonderful with its gardens, chapel, on site houses and reception areas. Cara the owner/manager is simply amazing. She always answered my questions in such a timely manner and made sure I was always in the know. It is amazing as a bride to feel so confident in your venue especially when the venue does everything they can to help you along the way.

Breathtaking

Our venue was the most beautiful place we've ever seen. We couldn't be more thrilled to have been at the Hallifax. Our guests loved exploring the grounds and the cottage at Agatha's was so breathtaking. If we didn't have to leave so early, we would have loved to stay and enjoy it a bit longer but we understood the turn over speed. Thank you so much for everything.

The best wedding, venue, and staff!

First of all, I want to thank Cara (the owner) for being so personable and helpful since we booked our wedding in 2020. The Estate constantly invests back into their venue creating new bathrooms, train car seating areas, and paved walkways to show they want the best experience for their guests. We have seen the place change for the better over the past two years since deciding to make this our venue. Cara’s preferred venue list is solid and professional. The staff on the day of the wedding was so much fun and delightful. Everyone had an amazing time. I highly recommend booking your wedding here. They are the best!!

Magical venue

Wow, what an amazing venue for a wedding. The Estate was the perfect place for our winter wedding! The oak tree was our ceremony site, and we had a beautiful reception in the tavern. There is a guest house on site for the bridal party to get ready in, as well as, an over night stay for the bride and groom. The guys got ready in the train car on the property and enjoyed the neat experience it has to offer. The estate provides top notch photo opportunities. All of our guest were in awe at the beautiful property and all it has to offer.

There are multiple ceremony options including a chapel, or gazebo. The gardens are maintained very well provide a great place for people to mingle.

It’s definitely my top recommendation for any wedding!

Hidden Gem

The Estate on the Halifax is a true hidden treasure! My husband and I looked at ten different venues, and this one was the very first one we visited. While looking at all the other venues, we could not stop comparing them to the Estate on the Halifax, and they all fell short. I absolutely loved the look of the Estate, from the charming cottage in the gardens to the beautiful tavern where receptions are held. The train car gives this venue its own charm that the guys instantly liked. All of our guests were amazed with the space, and I am still receiving compliments two weeks later! Cara and her team are exceptional and were very accommodating to any ideas or changes we wanted. Cara was very professional and I really felt like she cared about our wedding and making sure it was perfect. Plus we got to stay the night after our wedding on property at Agatha’s House, a gorgeous 4 room home with pool and hot tub! With so many beautiful locations to choose from around the area, we are so glad we picked Estate on the Halifax.

Beautiful Venue, Awesome Staff

When I got engaged I started searching for wedding venues. When I came across the Estate I knew I had to tour it. After touring it was not even a question if I was going to get married there, we changed the original date we wanted just to book here as the other date was already taken.
Of course with COVID we, unfortunately, had to postpone. Cara was SOOOO ACCOMODATING with helping us through everything. I had friends also getting married who told me nightmare stories about how their venue treated them in the process and I was so thankful to have had Cara. There was no issue when changing our date, we were allowed to pick any day that was available. They did not add any fees to our contract price, or change any pricing which was much appreciated.
The grounds at the Estate are gorgeous and truly make for a whimsical wedding. If I could do it all over again I would choose the Estate in a heartbeat.

How does such a beautiful place exist?!

I’m not sure where to begin. The Estate is absolutely beautiful. It is a huge venue & has so much variety to offer with 4 different ceremony sites. I loved that we had the backup option of getting married in the chapel in case our first ceremony site choice outside failed due to weather. I have to rave about the manager Cara. Any time I had a question she was so incredibly quick to respond. She really is so great & knows what she is doing. I wish we could get married all over again at The Estate!

Fairytale venue, beautiful property!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous and so much fun! The photo opportunities here are endless and the way the venue is set up makes the day so easy and enjoyable. It is a fairytale like venue! Everything you need is right there! There are a variety of ceremony locations, so there is something for everyone! We had our ceremony at the oak tree and it was so beautiful! We had the perfect day!!

Our dream come true!

The Estate on the Halifax is like something out of a fairy tale. We couldn't have dreamed up a better venue. You have to come see it yourself, and it still won't light a candle to how beautiful it will look on your wedding day. I wish I could live my wedding day over and over again - I wouldn't change a thing!

Cara was so easy to work with. We planned most of our wedding from across the country, and she was so responsive! She quickly helped answer any questions I had and addressed all of my concerns. I loved purchasing the wedding package - it was so nice to know that so many things were included that I didn't have to worry about finding vendors for, and Cara also has a lot of decor available for rent. Her team on the day-of was very helpful, and everything looked perfect!

My husband loves trains, so imagine his surprise when I first brought him to tour the venue for the first time, and he learned he'd be getting ready in an old train car? He was beside himself. Agatha's Guest House, where I got ready, is an absolutely stunning old mansion, and it was such a relief to just be a quick walk away from the honeymoon suite at the end of the festivities! The chapel is beautiful, but we only did our rehearsal there. It was SO reassuring to know that we had a rain plan built into our venue though! The grounds and garden are so breathtaking, though, that we couldn't resist planning for outdoors. We had our ceremony under the oak tree, and our cocktail hour was in Snow White's Cottage. Our guests still comment on how beautiful our wedding was. The Tavern was a gorgeous reception venue, the food from Aunt Catfish's was amazing, and our guests loved that everything was all at once location! I honestly can't say enough good things about this place to do it justice.

Perfect Wedding Venue

I am beyond happy with choosing Estate on the Halifax as our wedding venue. The communication up until our day was always prompt; getting a response usually within the day to all of our various questions. The prices were very reasonable and the caterer that they provide has amazing food. Everything on the venue is picture perfect which makes photos a breeze. All of my guests loved how everything is right there on the property and there is no travelling in-between ceremony and reception. There are so many different ways to make the venue feel like 'yours'. Plus, having the guest house that night was just an awesome added bonus! My wedding day felt like it came straight out of a fairy tale and I couldn't be happier to have chosen this place!!

Beautiful Venue and Fantasic Team to Work With

Many thanks to Cara and her team for guiding us through COVID and helping us manage our wedding on June 6, 2020. Through all the uncertainty of this Spring, The Estate remained a calm, flexible and positive force. All of the buildings appeared to be thoroughly cleaned and ready for our arrival. Protective steps were apparent at the reception but not "in-your-face". More importantly, the venue was just fun! From the start of the day to the sparkler ending, The Estate on the Halifax pulled everything off without a hitch!! It was a relaxed, joyous day. I highly recommend this venue for any event.

The Venue of our Dreams

Estate on the Halifax had everything that we dreamed our perfect wedding venue would have: a chapel (and a historical one at that) for the ceremony, gardens for the cocktail hour, and a tavern that had a warm, ski-lodge feel for our reception! Not only that, it has a functional antique train car for wedding party preparation and a full guesthouse for the other party's preparations and for the couple's stay on their wedding night! It's also perfect because it can work beautifully (and affordably) for a variety of guest counts. The staff was a dream to work with from start to finish and responded promptly to every question we had, big or small. This was the first venue we saw, and with the bar set so high, we wondered why we even bothered looking at any other venues after it. Estate has weddings down to a finely-tuned science, and they will ensure that every moment of your wedding turns out as perfectly as you dreamed it would. We absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend the Estate!!!!!

Absolutely magical

Working with the Estate was absolutely amazing! The venue is gorgeous and I knew the moment I visited an open house that I would get married there. Cara worked with us and did a fantastic job! We live farther from the venue and communication was never a problem night or day. The estate was extremely professional and made us feel like royalty! We also rented out the Estate house for the wedding party and it was PERFECT! Plenty of space for a party of 14 and so much fun! We never had to lift a finger, the venue did everything chairs, tables, place settings, decorations, CLEANING, etc. It could not have been better. I highly, highly recommend .

Loved it Here!

My husband and I had the hardest time finding and agreeing on a venue, but when we found this place we knew that we were set! This venue is absolutely gorgeous and it was absolutely incredible. Cara was very easy to work with and she was super responsive when it came to answering questions and help make sure everything was ready to go. I can't recommend this place enough!

Absolutely awesome

The Estate on the Halifax was absolutely wonderful to work with before, during, and after our wedding! The staff was fabulous, and so easy to work with! We had some unique challenges, and they handled everything with such grace and professionalism. The venue is spectacular and the staff was Top Shelf! I can't thank them enough for helping to make our event as wonderful as we ever could have imagined!

Gorgeous wedding venue

The Estate on the Halifax was the perfect choice for us on our wedding day. The property, historic homes and features, and the landscape was fantastic. Cara was also a wonderful emailer and helped us with every concern we had. We visited 10 possible venues, and we were both certain this was the one once we saw the Snow White area. We wanted a separate place for the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception, and we wanted the ability for both the groomsmen and the bridesmaids to get ready. We also wanted a venue that had another indoor option for our ceremony in case it rained - and this one did - the adorable chapel. The Estate provided all of this with an overnight stay included. Our guests loved this venue and so did we. Their food vendor recommendations are amazing too - we chose Aunt Catfish. The photo opportunities here are endless - even if it rains!

Wow! Just wow

To start off with the property. It was the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. They keep the property up-to-date. And well taken care of. The staff is second to none. Absolutely amazing, responsive and Courteous. Cara helped me every step of the way. They truly made this a memorable day.

Superb Place

Perfect Fairy Tale Venue

I couldn’t have ever even dreamed up this venue if I tried. Absolute perfection. If you’re still trying to lock down a venue, you need to visit this amazing location ASAP. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the staff to the lodging, it was the most magical day and I feel so lucky to have found it.

Elegant and local

If you are looking for a beautiful place with a tropical flair forget about the beach. The property at The Estate on the Halifax is gorgeous. My guests who came to visit from NY, GA, and CA were all impressed by the classic Florida greenery and the luxury of the venue. It is elegant, and timeless. I absolutely loved the entire experience and would do it again at The Estate in a heartbeat. Love. Love. Love.

Dream wedding

Everyone that attended can’t stop talking about this venue.. everything was perfect the ambiance was exactly what I dreamed of. Cara was there for every detail, question, and even to calm me down from wedding wows.. thank you for bringing my dream to life.

Breath taking venue!

I absolutely loved this venue from the day I toured it! The white chapel is so adorable and well kept up. The whole property is breathtaking with so many spots for beautiful photos! I absolutely loved I could have the ceremony and reception at the same place for me guests. I received SO many compliments about the venue and how beautiful it was. Highly highly highly recommend!

Best Wedding Venue North of Orlando!

Our wedding was perfect! We rented out the whole venue and it was awesome to be able to get ready in Agatha’s Guesthouse and the train car to walk over to the chapel for our ceremony, take pictures in the gardens and then walk to our reception in the tavern. Everyone remarked on the beautiful venue, the staff were great and everything went off without a hitch. Thank you for an amazing wedding that we will remember for the rest of our lives!

Beautiful private venue

This place was absolutely beautiful! I loved the privacy of this venue- we had the place to ourselves, and it felt very personal! The whole estate has this magical vibe to it. I definitely recommend the estate!

Best Venue in our Area

Hands down the most beautiful venue within the north central Florida area. All my guests were amazed. Even I’m still amazed. Cara is the absolute best. I LOVE the estate of the Halifax.

Wonderful venue

The Estate was absolutely perfect for our wedding day. Cara helped the planning process go smoothly by answering any and all questions I may have had, and the grounds themselves are beautiful. I would recommend them to anybody!

Completely Amazing

This is such a beautiful venue. My husband and I fell in love with it as soon as we stepped onto the property. Cara is wonderful to work with and so quick responding to any question. During and after our wedding, our guests kept coming up to us telling us how beautiful and enchanting the space is. It's so unique and big enough to host a wedding of a decent size. You really can't go wrong getting married at any of the spots on this property.

The Estate is like no other venue out there. All our guests could not believe how gorgeous this venue is. There are no words to describe it!

This venue is over the top the most awesome place! It is family owned and run, and the history on it is amazing! This place has so much to offer for the wedding of your dreams. We rented The Estate house for our family to stay in and it was so worth it. We also had our rehearsal there followed by brunch. You must see this place no words can totally describe the property and the Gardens and the houses! Cara and her brothers and dad were there and or are very accommodating! Everyone in our family and guests were totally impressed With the property and the family management of it. The property is immaculate! They’re hard work shows.

Dream venue

This was the first and only venue we toured, because it's perfect. The team has thought of everything you could imagine as far as wedding details and accommodations. Cara is wonderful to work with and super responsive and helpful. We reserved the whole property and had plenty of space and time to get ready and celebrate! (one tip- ask where the breaker box is in Agatha's guesthouse. It's an old building and our hairdryers flipped the breaker but we couldn't find it to fix, so were left without AC and power in the main bedroom for some time!) All our guests raved about how beautiful the location was, it hardly needs any additional decor! It's like it's own secluded world inside Port Orange. The staff during the wedding was great too. Very organized and professional. Highly recommend!

The Estate on the Halifax is a place like no other!! As soon as we toured the venue we knew this is where we wanted our wedding to be. Cara was extremely helpful and always very quick to respond to our many questions. She even responded while she was away on maternity leave, which was highly unexpected. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous!!!! There are so many unique and beautiful places throughout the property for amazing pictures. We have guests still commenting on how beautiful our wedding was there. Not only is the Estate a beautiful place to get married, but they also go above and beyond what I thought a venue would be. Our day was amazing and that was mainly due to the staff. We also used a lot of their preferred vendors and they were all fantastic to work with!!! The Estate has everything you could ever dream of in a wedding venue.

This is the most beautiful venue. All of our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the property is. There are so many excellent spots for photos throughout the estate. All of the staff were excellent!! They made sure everything went smoothly and were so friendly and professional. We used many of the recommended vendors and they were great! I can’t say enough about how thrilled we were with how our wedding day turned out. You could not find a better group of people to help you celebrate your special day.

The estate on the Halifax is a beautiful venue. There are many options on property to host your wedding ceremony. This venue is very unique and is the only place like it that I could find anywhere in central Florida. There is so much history on the property itself! Cara is very fast to respond, email is the best way to communicate with her. I am still in love with the property, and am unbelievably happy we chose to get married here.

I was blown away not only with the beauty of this venue but with the staff as well. Cara is amazing to work with. She is super responsive and if for some reason she cannot talk to you at that moment, she will call you back right away. From the very first time my husband and I toured the venue (which we fell in love with) to the actual wedding day, everything was amazing. The venue is just breathtaking. There are so many neat little hidden areas of this venue, makes for a neat cocktail hour, guests can wander the land and take in all the beauty. Cara was amazing with helping with pairing us with some of their preferred vendors, she even took over some of the communication with the caterer for me since they work together so frequently. I would defiantly recommend renting the estate house if it is available for your day. It made it so much more convenience for us to actually be on the property during our wedding weekend. Then you get to spend your first night as husband and wife in the guest house which is just the cutest. The staff that was there the night of the wedding, I believe Cara's dad and brother (this is a family estate and business), were just so helpful and delightful. Anything and everything we needed or had questions about they were right there to help with. I could not have had a better wedding night and I owe a great deal of that to Cara and the entire staff at the Estate. They helped to give us a perfect wedding! Thank you!

Sean and I loved everything about how amazing the Estate was. You can search high and low for a great venue and reception, but you won't find one as incredible as the Estate on the Halifax. everyone was so helpful and patient, which means so much to a bride who's never had anything to do with weddings before. If i could re-live my wedding night at the Estate, i would do it over and over again because of how fantastic the entire experience was!

I cannot imagine a more perfect wedding venue. The Estate sits on 10 acres right beside the Halifax river and you are able to rent the entire gorgeous property for your special day. The bridal suite is an incredibly gorgeous house that has an amazing waterfront view. The men get ready in a train car which makes for great pictures. All of our guests gushed about how beautiful the property is! Cara was wonderful to work with and answered all of my questions promptly (even on the day of her own anniversary!). Her staff made sure everything went seamlessly and without a hitch. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Cara and the rest of the staff at the venue are the thank ❤️

The only advise I would give couples thinking or looking at this place is don't wait too long to book it. After looking at other places, this was the best by far. The grounds are to die for, the staff were more then helpful and professional. You will not be disappointed in this place. It was worth every penny and then some.

If there is one word that our guests continued to use to describe our wedding venue, it is “magical”. There’s little else to describe the intricacies, the diversity, and the quaint elegance of the Estate on the Halifax. When my wife and I first pictured our wedding, amongst gardens, spanish-moss draped trees and dancing in a rustic hall, our delight could not have been greater. Having all of the facilities located one place also made logistics and timing much more convenient. Far from just a beautiful place, Cara and rest of the Estate team were always responsive, flexible and insightful in coordinating and preparing our day. Their team has excellent relationships with local vendors, and this familiarity with the venue made planning that much easier. This is a venue, not only a visual splendor, that comes with a breadth of experience and makes each couple feel special.

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET MARRIED!!!!
When my husband and I were searching online for wedding venues, we were immediately impressed by this gorgeous 10-acre estate. We visited with high hopes and we were blown away with how much better it was in person! This was the first and only venue we visited in person and we knew the second we left (since we immediately wanted to go back and spend as much time there are possible!) that this would be where we held our ceremony and our reception. Not often are places better in person than in pictures, but this place certainly is! This is not just a venue, it's a family owned property with heart and history and with little pieces of heaven sprinkled all around. There's a chapel, there's a gazebo, there's Snow White's cottage, there's a tavern, there's a train car (that actually used to run!), there's a BEAUTIFUL guest house, (well, 2 actually!), not to mention the grounds are kept so nicely and the gardens are stunning. It's basically a bride's paradise! The staff is outstanding and if you get the pleasure of working with Cara, you won't be disappointed. She's the best!

Our wedding was exactly what we had dreamed it to be and we had a blast. So many of our guests were amazed at how beautiful the venue was and many were interested in booking it for their own events! So many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Everyone had such a great time and everything went so smoothly, it was perfect! The venue's beauty speaks for itself, really. We did our ceremony out at the river gate, right in front of the river it was a beautiful backdrop, and even though it was August in Florida (ugh!) there was a nice breeze coming off the river. The inside of the tavern barely needs any decoration it is so beautiful on its own accord. Plus the price of this venue was so reasonable. It was by far the most value in a venue we found, and it was the prettiest--we couldn't believe it. We had 170 guests and it worked well (we couldn't fit in the chapel but the riverfront was just as beautiful). Cara and Kassandra were so helpful in every detail, any question I asked they answered quickly and really helped me plan the perfect day.

We got married at the Estate on the Halifax last month and it was AMAZING! Everything was absolutely gorgeous. Cara and the whole team at the Estate were so incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the whole planning period. I was planning the wedding from Colorado so there were a lot of emails. They all answered questions very quickly and helped me find local vendors for everything we needed. Even while Cara was on leave, she and her team still responded to my emails. I was not the most put together or on top of everything bride and they helped guide me through everything. When it came to the final planning meeting and they were asking me questions for things that I hadn’t even thought of, they reassured me that they would take care of everything. We also used their coordination services, White Blossom Weddings, and our coordinator Emily was fabulous. Cara and Emily also helped me add in some little details with suggestions to really make the ceremony and the reception special since we did most of the decor ourselves. Emily kept everything during the rehearsal and the wedding on-time and flowing seamlessly. She was there with any questions I had and made sure everyone knew where they needed to be and when. The day of the wedding I was so overwhelmed and overjoyed. The weather did not participate and it rained all day so we had to move the ceremony from the gardens to the chapel, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about and was able to enjoy my day. Emily took care of getting everything moved and let everyone know; she is so organized and on top of every detail. The venue itself was breathtaking and I got so many compliments from all of my guests. It was every bit the fairy tale I wanted. Thank you to the whole team at the Estate and White Blossom Weddings! This venue was absolutely perfect! All of my guests felt like they were in a paradise. It is perfect for all needs, indoors or outdoors. I miss it already, it was truly a rustic dream come true!!!!!!!!

I don't even have the words to express how amazing titis venue is. The property is gorgeous and well maintained at all times. Easy and fun to decorate a wedding or other function. The staff is simply amazing especially Kara she help us so much and was very patient. The whole team as a whole made our day the best ever. They're very professional offering help whenever you need it along with suggestions to other issues as in food, video, draping etc. I would recommend and have been recommending their venue to everyone I come across. You won't be disappointed I promise you.

I found the Esate on the Halifax through Pinterest and I just KNEW I had to have my wedding there ! We tied the knot on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Estate and it was truly nothing short from Magical !! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and a photographers dream venue ! My guest were blown away! I keep re-living the day/night in my head and wishing we could do it all over again! Every second of the day was absolutely perfect! On top of a dream venue , all of the staff were outstanding ! I truly can't say enough about the Estate .... It was a dream come true !!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at this location. We rented the entire grounds and rented the large cabin for 2 of the nights. This was such a beautiful location to have my wedding. The photos turned out amazing with all the beautiful scenery. I loved this location because of it's unique look and variety of backdrops. Everything went smoothly and everything was ready on time. All my family agreed that it was worth the 3 hour drive for such a breathtaking location.

We could not have been more pleased with our entire experience here. From the very first moment to the final goodbye, our every need was met. Be absolutely sure to start your day early and spend as much time as you can enjoying the accommodations at Agatha's Guest House before your event starts. The staff is first-rate and professional. Cara and Emily were always available to answer questions and make our dreams come true. Our wedding and reception were perfect and on-time. It was, indeed, a pleasure!

The Estate on the Halifax is like an oasis in Central Florida. Excellent staff - friendly and accommodating. I received nothing but great comments from my wedding guests. My only suggestion would be to start your day early so that your guests may enjoy more of the surroundings and your stay at the cottage will last longer.

My beautiful wife and I had our dream wedding at this venue. Cara in the front office got our contract exactly the way we wanted it, and even stayed late in the evening one day to accommodate my work schedule. The catering staff was on point, and we especially loved Emily, the coordinator. She was a flipping rockstar and made my wife and I feel completely at ease. She took care of absolutely everything and went way above and beyond for us. Worth every penny and more to use the in-house coordination.
The grounds were immaculate- definite TLC goes into the upkeep of this place. We got ready there all day and even spent the night.... we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Great value, great customer service, great experience. Highly recommended.

When we first booked this venue I was told that they had a day planner that I could work with about a month out. I never heard from anyone. I was way to busy with wedding planning to contact anyone about a planner. I was under the impression that I would be contacted by someone. I didn't realize that I was suppose to contact them about retaining a day planner. It all worked out in the end. So my advice would be to contact this venue about info on retaining a day planner well in advance. Other than that we were very pleased with the entire processes. We would do it all again!!

The venue is more beautiful than pictures can show. The environment of this venue is that of a fairytale! We felt like our wedding day could have been our of a story book at this venue. The staff and wedding planners were great! (I had not one worry on the day of that everything was being taken care of). Would recommend to anyone! Great pricing for what you are getting! I do not know what is better, the house my bridesmaids and I got ready in, the train car the groomsmen got ready in, the cute quaint chapel that makes your wedding feel so intimate even with our 150 guests, or the beautiful open reception house that created the perfect fun, warm environment for a night of dancing! Guests were BLOWN away at this place.

This venue is absolutely breathtaking! This was the first venue I visited and once I toured the Estate, I knew this is where I wanted to married! The grounds are perfect for pictures! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the set up we had. It was intimate, elegant, and romantic.. just what we had asked for. Spending the night in the cottage was amazing! The worst thing of all ... was having to leave!

The Estate is a beautiful property to hold your wedding. The gardens and train provide unique opportunities for pictures.

The Estate provides group billing; for instance, they added our chair rental and food bills with their bill. This made it easier to pay when our deadlines were coming due.

The people who work there are great; not only are they easy to work with but they help alleviate your anxieties. They are also easy to work with; they made it no issue when we wanted additional crystals hung from the chandelier.

Now, for some back ground of our wedding: we only had 60 guests, and we wanted the ceremony to be held in the chapel, the cocktail hour in Snow White's cottage and surrounding gardens, and the reception in the main tavern. The Estate was able to accommodate our desires.

The chapel is beautiful and all of our guests were comfortable while we said our vowels. We barely decorated the chapel and it didn't need it; the beauty of the Chapel shined through.

I cannot say much about the cocktail hour; as the bride I was busy elsewhere. However, the cottage is charming with its wood detail and surrounding koi ponds. The guests were able to walk around the property and enjoy the blooming flowers. (We did have excellent weather that day)

The Tavern Reception was fantastic with the rich wood detail of the building. We were able to fit our guests in the main room with a 10x10 dance floor. With the lights and decor, I felt as if I had a magical evening.

We also hired a "day of" wedding planner. She was great and kept everything organized; we had no worries the day of.

I recommend going to the Estate and seeing it for yourself, especially during the time frame you will be planning your event. Further, I recommend going to their "Night at the Estate" event (I believe they hold it a couple times a year) in which they bring in vendors who have worked there before and decorate the place. Its great to help you see your vision.

This venue is absolutely breathtaking. My husband and I got married there this past march and let me just tell you it was a fairytale. From the guys getting ready In the train car to the girls getting ready in agethas to the gazebo for the ceremony and tavern for reception it was amazing. I had no worries about an outdoor ceremony because they have the chapel on the property just in case. Plus the ceremony and reception was in one location so no one had to drive to separate locations. We used there special. The food from aunt catfish was amazing and dj man joe was perfect. The crowd loved him. I couldn't have picked a more perfect venue for my wedding.

The Estate on the Halifax is a diamond in the rough. I searched for months and months to find the right venue. I visited several venues and nothing could compare to this place. Once I saw it I immediately feel in love(My husband was even in awe of the property). You get the whole property to spend your special day at. The guys get to get ready in an awesome old fashion train car (with a bar in it) and us ladies got to get ready in an absolutely gorgeous home on the property!! The venue speaks for itself, ceremony and reception site require very minimal decorations because the venue is gorgeous in itself. It makes for breath taking pictures. I also must add Katie the coordinator at the property was amazing. She was perfect for our wedding day. She took care of everything and I had not one worry on my wedding day & that was all I could ask for. You get so much for your money & once you find this place look no further, this is it!! From the chapel, to the gardens, gazebo and beautiful tavern this place has it all! It made our wedding day perfect.

I would absolutely recommend this venue to anybody. It is a beautiful venue and the people are so helpful and very nice! I would also recommend hiring the event coordinator, especially the day off. It made the day so much less stressful and they were really a big help the day of and even the week before. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about the venue and we all had a great time. Katie is definitely the way to go for your coordinator! She was amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect and I was stress free. Our wedding day was just the fairytale I envisioned. The venue itself is stunning, but as soon as you place your decorations, it becomes breathtaking.

Absolutely beautiful venue! Full coordination and day of coordination by Katie, she is amazing and very professional! I don't know what I would have done without her throughout the whole process. Linda and Cara are great too! Get the "dream team" vendors: Aunt Catfish for catering, DJ Man Joe, Mark Dickinson Photography and Katie for coordination! Your day will be perfect, just like mine was! If you can, rent the Estate house., it's amazing! Agathas cottage was perfect for the wedding night (complimentary night with exclusive venue rental) and unbelievably beautiful. I can't say enough about this venue, truly!

I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful this venue is. From the booking to the actual day of everything is seamless. The property is absolutely breath taking and made for unforgettable wedding pictures. The process of booking was so simple and once we did we started collaborating with Katie. One piece of advice, she offers her services for coordination for the day of, take it. On the day of she gave me her cell phone number and if I had a question or needed something I would send her a text and would get an immediate response. One of the best parts about this property is the actual size. My husband and I were able to both get ready on the property which was awesome for our photographer because he could bounce back and forth. Both of the areas for prep were spacious air conditioning and stocked with items such as sodas. A couple weeks before the wedding we were able to sit down with Katie for the final meeting and she covered every possible question, concern, and we went over the schedule.

The day of was an absolute dream, I only had to worry about getting ready, married, and having fun. Every little detail was handled by Katie and she did a spectacular job taking items from the church and incorporating them into the reception (so we got a full day's worth of use out of every item).

I honestly can't say enough good things about this venue, if you are hunting for a wonderful place to get married this is it!

Wow wow wow! What an awesome venue! I am SO HAPPY we decided to book at The Estate on the Halifax instead of booking in a standard hotel ballroom. I really had my heart set on something unique, and this place definitely is it! Be sure to book EARLY though, because the book up FAST.

For one, the grounds are absolutely flawless. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the property was and several asked how we managed to find such an amazing "hidden gem". Not only did we get gorgeous pictures as the wedding party, but our guests also were able to take their own beautiful pictures in the gardens.

Second, the service we received from Katie and her team was more than we could've ever hoped for. Seriously, HIRE HER as your coordinator. Trust her to take care of everything, and relax and enjoy your day. She took care of every small detail with ease and precision, and when we walked into the Tavern for the first time, I couldn't believe how perfect it all looked. With limited input, she made it look more beautiful than we EVER could have dreamed of. Before the ceremony, Katie made sure everyone had eaten a little something and nerves were calmed. When the bustle of my dress broke numerous times at the reception, she was there pinning it up for me. When our drinks looked low, she made sure they were topped off. Katie's service was worth every penny because no potential issues (if they occurred), were even made known to us. She took care of it ALL.

Finally, the overall experience was one we will remember and cherish for the rest of our lives. I'm still relatively surprised at how smooth it all went, and we will forever look back with such fond memories of the day. Visit an open house (they have them four times a year) if only to see the venue and how gorgeous it is. I know we will be back someday to visit and recapture the moments!

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful venues that anyone can possibly have for a wedding ceremony and reception. Kaite Hunt, the Director of Hospitality, is a MUST use. She was amazing and made sure everything went perfectly and that we had everything we needed. Couldn't be happier with the way she made our day. This is beyond a perfect place to have a wedding! The property is breathtaking but beyond that the staff is superior. As soon as we visited the property at an open house we knew this was where we wanted to begin our new lives together. We reserved the entire estate and it was worth every penny. We also hired on Katie as our event coordinator, but she was so much more than that. She was always available for us when we needed her, either in person or by phone or email.
The estate offers everything a Bride and Groom could wish for, from the girls getting ready in Agatha's Cottage to the guys partying it up in the train car pre ceremony. Originally we had a gazebo ceremony scheduled and Cocktail Hour in Snow White's Cottage, but rain derailed our plans. Katie quickly switched to back up mode and I felt completely at ease. I can honestly say that I did not lift a finger the entire day (except to raise my champagne glass). Our guests enjoyed a beautiful Chapel ceremony and an all out party in the Tavern. To end the night back at Agatha's Cottage was perfect, just a romantic walk away from the reception.
We cannot thank Katie and the staff enough for making our wedding day so memorable and special.

Absolutely beautiful venue!!! I knew from the moment I stepped on the property for our visit that it was where we were getting married and it was the best decision we made. Not only did we fall in love with the place, but all of our guests did too! It is such a beautiful and unique venue and I highly recomend it to anyone looking for something out of the typical Flordia beach wedding. Not only is the venue amazing but the staff is too! Kellie and Katie went above and beyond to ensure our day was truly perfect! I don't think my groom or I would have made it through the day w/o them! They pulled everything together for us that day which took so much stress off of us so we could truly enjoy the day.
