I first met Tammy at the bridal extravaganza where I was blown away by her melon cake. We scheduled a cake tasting and Tammy was extremely helpful in our decision making process regarding the size of cake we should get for our projected guest count, the flavors, design, etc. On our wedding day, Tammy went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect! Everyone kept commenting on how amazing the cake was! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Our wedding cake from Tammy Allen was a showstopper! Not only was it beautiful, but every layer was absolutely delicious— we had their signature Texas Melon, Cinnamon Roll and Butter Gran Marnier. They perfectly captured our vision and delivered it flawlessly. We were thrilled with the result and so were our guests! We love Tammy and Nate! They are truly the best people who care about you and pride themselves in what they do. Will definitely be using them for future occasions!

The cake was DIVINE ! Possibly had the most beautiful and most delicious wedding cake ever! For the wedding, we decided to get a three tier Spatula Texas Melon Cake and the Groom’s cake was a yellow cake with white icing. Our guests loved the cake and complimented on how rich, moist and delicious our cake tasted. My husband went into a trance eating his Groom’s cake until it was all gone. We must also compliment Tammy and Nate (her husband) on their super customer service! The service was exceptional. Tammy designed our cakes during the first meeting and they followed-through until we had the cakes. Both cakes exceeded our expectations!

Delicious cakes!
I heard of Weddings Cakes By Tammy Allen through word of mouth. I ran into her at a bridal expo and tried her best seller Texas Melon. I had to schedule a tasting and have her bake my cake!!! She was very accommodating due to Noah’s going bankrupt AND Covid when I had to reschedule twice. She is very sweet and polite. I highly recommend her.

the most delicious wedding cake - go try it for yourself
Although we didn't have a complex design, I thought Tammy did so well with our textured layers. And more importantly, the cake was SO delicious. We got three flavors - Texas Melon, Almond Buttercream, and Cinnamon Grand Marnier. All of them were amazing. We had several people comment on how delicious it was and how it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. I'm not surprised, because it's the best wedding cake my husband and I have ever had as well. Schedule a tasting and try it for yourself! We loved how during our tasting, Tammy had no need to try to "sell" her cake to us like the other bakeries did. The cake speaks for itself.

As for the taste...the best wedding cake we have ever had. The flavors we chose (which were two that alternated between layers) were so delicious and moist!!! We had so many people compliment how soft and fluffy the cake was. We had a good amount left over, so we gave away what we could and took some home for us to snack on over the next week.. even days later, it was still as delicious and moist and fluffy as it was soon our wedding night. I Cannot Say Enough Great Things About This Vendor!
I had been a follower of Mrs. Allen's cakes since before my fiancé and I were engaged to one another. I first encountered her business at a wedding expo and instantly fell in love with her renowned Texas watermelon flavored cake. I knew right away that I had to have her create our wedding cake. I decided to attend one of her Open House events to sample other cake flavors, but after trying the watermelon cake flavor again - I was completely sold. I showed her a picture of our wedding cake inspiration and she loved it! She explained to me how she was going to achieve the cake design and how to make the most out of the cake with the amount of guest that would be attending our wedding. I booked that very same day. She made the process quick and easy - exuded great customer service and passion for cake designing. Her business is a true reflection of her love for cakes. My order included a intricate/very detailed four-tier wedding cake and groom's cake. I cannot wait to see how both of the cakes turn out, since I already know that they will taste phenomenal!

The wedding cake was a highlight of our day! While my husband enjoyed the Texas Melon tier, I was looking forward to having the amaretta with pistachio filling tier. Unfortunately, I did not get to taste it on our wedding day. However, for our first anniversary top tier, Tammy went above and beyond and made the flavor I did not get. It was delicious! My fiancé and I first heard about Tammy's Cakes for our Wedding Planner Delcina Hagley. Del set up a few consults with cake vendors & Tammy's cakes out tasted everyone else. After our tasting, I was so amazed at her flavors that I went back a 2nd & a 3rd time with finance & then my mom-LOL. They were probably so annoyed, but you would never noticed- Tammy & her fam were flattered how taken I was about her cakes.
After the tasting, Tammy & her design team Billy & Rikka were the only ones that got our vision for our cakes & took the time and sat with us & sketched out the cake exactly as I wanted, even suggesting details such as fondant ruffles & a flower ball for the top of our cake, details which really made our cake stand out. They also added our personal monogram and even copied the gate design from our invites. I was so excited when I left there because I knew they captured my vision and that it was going to be an amazing tasting wedding cake and a gorgeous one too. We chose their famous Texas Melon & Butter creme- a flavor no one in Houston can claim & for our Grooms cake we chose alternating layers of Chocolate Hennessy & Strawberry & Champagne. I was so amazed at such a unique flavors, I also had Tammy make my Bridal shower cake for my High Tea held at the St.Regis, in her TX melon flavor -with a scraped icing (Naked style).
Professionalism: I would rate Tammy & her team an A plus- she deliver high quality cakes for both events our Bridal Shower & Wedding. Cakes were delivered on time & looked and tasted phenomenal. I would def recommend her! Please don't go with a cheaper Baker! My friend showed me pics of a wedding recently where the Bride tried to cut costs by choosing a cheap baker- well her cake fell & they still delivered it in pieces with no backup cake for her. I would not chance not using Tammy b/c you get 1 DAY ! Tammy was not only awesome she was also reasonable priced. So happy we chose her b/c we got everything we wanted plus more.

This shop is amazing and they are so helpful! They listened to exactly what we wanted and even worked with my budget so we got the cakes we had been dreaming of and it was still within our budget! Their customer service is top notch and everyone was stopping me all night to tell me how delicious our cakes were! I would recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding cake.

My daughter went into Tammy Allen's with a picture of her dream wedding cake and they went out of their way to make it even better than her original picture! It was also very moist and delicious! Everyone at the reception kept asking who made the cake, even our photographer said she had to have the name of our baker. It was definitely one of the highlights of the wedding! The staff is friendly and a delight to work with!!

Wedding Cakes by Tammy Allen delivered stellar services and a cake that was not only BEAUTIFUL, but absolutely delicious! Our guests are calling and texting "who made the cake!?" We can't hardly wait until our 1 year anniversary to eat the top tier. As the bride and groom, we had a lot of entertaining to do and didn't really indulge in multiple pieces. This has to be the best wedding cake I have ever tried! It was so moist, superb look and unique Watermelon flavor; a winner among our guest!! The cake was beautifully decorated, very elegant - exactly as the picture we had.
My husband and I went to do the tasting for my son and daughter-in-law since it was our gift to them and we were very impressed by the excellent customer service, our consultant Rika was very helpful, so accommodating to plan another tasting with my son; Rika is a very sweet lady. Oh my goodness Tammy is so awesome. I went for a tasting with my mom, since my groom wasn't able to get out of work in time and she was wonderful from the very beginning. All of the cake taste amazing and she was so accommodating! I brought pictures of what I wanted and she made it happen. I even got a discount for paying in full the same day! She called the week of the wedding and coordinated with my florist since there would be real flowers in between the layers. I am so thankful I found her!!

It made such a statement in the room, exactly what we were looking for and the variety of flavors we chose were just as amazing as the cake looked!!! Tammy was not only professional in coordinating things with us, but she also coordinated with our florist the day of the wedding in order to put the right number and size of flowers on the cake!! Tammy was one of the sweetest and personable ladies I have ever met which made choosing to go with her business a "piece of cake" :-) ! I knew from the moment I first sampled Tammy Allen's cake at the Bridal Extravaganza a year before my wedding that that would be the cake I would have! Her cakes are just THAT good...better than any other cake I sampled. Thankfully, they can decorate too! Their cakes are beautiful. We chose to go with one single flavor for our 5 tiered cake...the Butter Cinnamon Grand Marnier cake with buttercream icing. Yep, and it's even better than it sounds. I'm telling you, my guests RAVED over this cake (and continue to do so)...and it was one of the things I was most looking forward to all year as well, you know, other than saying my vows, lol! My husband and I designed the cake ourselves. We met with one of the designers/decorators on a saturday morning. I came prepared with exactly what I wanted on each tier, he offered some suggestions, and drew out a very detailed sample. On the day of the wedding, the cake looked exactly as we expected and it was beautiful. Of course, it also tasted amazing. I had one guest tell me she swiped a second piece off of the server's tray when they were serving a table next to her, hahahaha, it was just that good. I cannot wait until our one year anniversary to tear into the top tier that we have wrapped up tight in the freezer. It's a good thing Tammy Allen's bakery isn't very close to where I live either, because that would be dangerous for me and my waistline :) I highly recommend Tammy Allen for any bride's wedding cake...you will no be disappointed!

Choosing Tammy Allen Cakes was truly one of the best decisions for our wedding. We wanted people to taste something unique and have the elegance to go with it. Our cake was of course the Texas Melon and we did not have 1 piece left of this cake. I appreciate Mrs. Tammy and her team beyond words. My wedding was in October during the horrible rain in Houston. Mrs. Tammy and her team worked with the people at the venue to make sure my cake arrived no matter what. Upon arrival my cake table wasn’t there yet. Mrs. Tammy Made sure she was present when the right table arrived to make sure the cake was just perfect and it truly was. I was getting ready during all of that time, and I just thank her for the professionalism and going over and beyond to make sure my cake was safe and beautiful. I would recommend Tammy Allen not just for the delicious cakes, but also for her positive attitude, creativity,& vision.

Being from New Orleans, I was used to a certain dense, almond flavored wedding cake which I had not had at other weddings of my Houston friends. My daughter and I met Tammy at a Bridal Show and low and behold, she was giving out samples of her almond cake! It was the closest thing I had ever come across to my New Orleans favorite cake, and best of all, Tammy's bakery was very close to our house.
When my daughter and I visited with Tammy we found her very friendly and easy to work with. She listened to my daughter's ideas for her cakes, drew them out offering suggestions and staying within our budget. My daughter wanted to add orchids cascading down the cake and Tammy was perfectly okay with using the silk flowers we had instead of insisting it had to be buttercream flowers. Also, since my daughter's fiancé is a music composer, she wanted a grand piano for the groom's cake. Tammy had never created one before and was excited to create one. At our appointment, we searched online pictures of piano cakes and found one we all liked. Tammy created a beautiful black fondant Grand Piano and also added her own inspiration by draping a large edible music sheet across the top of it. Even though the name of the song was not visible on the music sheet, the groom was able to read it and approved of the selection! Both cakes tasted fabulous and were very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Tammy Allen Premier Wedding Cakes to all.

My experience with Tammy Allen's premier wedding cake has been nothing short of AMAZING. We scheduled a tasting at their bakery around 6 months prior to our wedding. During our meeting, we sampled 3 different cake flavors (we selected watermelon cake with butter-cream icing), discussed the design of the cake and prepared a contract so that all the details would be clear and understood. Tammy and Nate personally delivered the cake (on time). The Wedding cake becomes a "feature" at most weddings and ours was no exception. The cake sat by itself, in the center of the reception area, under a huge crystal chandelier. Our guest kept asking "who made the cake" and there were no leftovers. Tammy is extremely talented and passionate about her craft. She makes you feel as though the success of your cake is her only priority. I have to say that Tammy Allen went above and beyond for my wedding and grooms cake. She cares so much to make her customers happy and will do anything to do so. Her prices are affordable and the cakes taste moist and not dry. I cant tell you how many times that I have been to weddings and had dry cake. I love the fact that she pays strict attention to the designs and details of every cake she makes therefore delivering excellent and professional looking work. I had an all white cake with an ombre Tiffany blue flower pattern and being that my fiance is a Kappa I got him a Kappa cake. The smile on my husbands face just said it all. He loved everything about his cake and the fact that she personalized meant everything to him. If there was a rating for 10 stars I would give it to her.

She listened to what we wanted and custom designed our cakes right in front of us. We had a unique request for the groom's cake, a Southfork Ranch (Dallas) cake; she implemented everything we wanted, but also put her own creative touches on both cakes (my cake was a five-layered white cake with bling and brooches). Our cakes looked amazing, but they tasted amazing as well. People are STILL talking about how good (and moist) both cakes were. I highly recommend her; she will make every cake I ever order from now on!

OMG!!!! Where's the "Love" button when you need it? Me ,my husband and my entire wedding guest loved our cake by Mrs. Tammy. Her prices were reasonable and our cake was delicious. Mrs. Tammy designed my cake for me and it was beautiful. I had 4 tiers with different flavors (top rated by guest was her red velvet & chocolate flavor). After me and my husband took photos cutting the cake, we literally had family standing around eating the cake and all you can hear is ooh & aah. Where do I even begin? From my first interaction with Tammy I knew my wedding cake will be fabulous. She is so gifted at her craft, that she is able to create a tailored specialized cake that fits your wedding and theme. When I first went into Tammy's shop, I thought I knew that I wanted. I described the type of wedding I was having, the theme, and what I wanted the cake to envision. Based on my description, Tammy was able to draw a cake design that was gorgeous. After a few weeks went by, Tammy called and said that she has an idea that would be a wow factor for my cake. Because I believed in her and trusted her skills, I went along with her new design for my cake. Can I say FABULOUS times 10. This new cake was AMAZING. Every girl dreams of her perfect wedding as a child, and this new cake was more than I can even dream of. The fact that Tammy was thinking my cake design well after my consultation shows how well she treats each and every client. I am so grateful for all that Tammy has done for me. When I met Tammy Allen's team at the Bridal Extravaganza in January, I was impressed by their professionalism and enthusiasm. Mr. Allen nearly forced me to sample their signature watermelon flavored cake, stating that I would love it. lol Well...I did!!! :-). When it came time for me to select my cake vendor, Tammy Allen was at the top of my list. I loved the one on one service and the attention to detail. She took the time to sketch the exact cake I wanted. When I told her my budget she worked with me and even threw in a FREE groom's cake. The cakes was one of the most beautiful cakes I had ever seen and the taste....above and beyond!!! The wedding cake was 3 layers (Almond Butter, Watermelon, and Chocolate Cinnamon Grand Marnier) The grooms cake was a butter cake with chocolate filling!!! It was decadent, moist, and buttery. It was so good that we ate cake for breakfast the first day of our honeymoon. :-) I would suggest Tammy Allen to any bride who wants a professional and delicious experience!

Absolutely LOVED our cake! Beautiful intricate details and amazing taste! You will definitely NOT be sacrificing taste for looks with Tammy Allen's cakes. We went with her famous watermelon cake and although everyone was surprised to hear there would be watermelon cake- EVERYONE (including my husband who usually doesn't like cake) LOVED IT! Tammy was easy to work with, listened to what we were looking for and was easy to contact. Quality service and quality cakes!

Al I can say is WOW!!! I didn't even think about cake until 2 months before my wedding and Tammy Allen was heaven sent! My cake was absolutely GORGEOUS and more importantly is was the most delicious cake I've ever had....seriously! One of my biggest fears was pretty cake that was dry and flavorless.....not these cakes. I didn't get any of the wedding cake (that should be an indicator of how good it was) and to this day people ask where I got my cake made. Then the "hard" part was the groom's cake. I had a vision, but no good picture to show her....she didn't need it. She made my husband's cake come to life and again, it was a hit! Love, love love this bakery and will definitely use them for more special moments.

When the cake was delivered, I was so happy to see the finish product. The cake was beautiful and the talk of town. The cake consist of chocholate and vanilla with strawberries. My son and daughter-in-laws quest were amazd with the presentation and the taste. Tammy is a true professional and not only were we pleased but the cake was the talk during and after the wedding.

Tammy Allen made my daughter's wedding cake and her husband's grooms cake. They had found pictures of what they wanted and took them to Tammy and she recreated them perfectly. My son-in-law was blown away how great his cake looked and tasted. My daughter was so happy how beautiful her cake was. Tammy Allen truly has an amazing talent and gift. Her cakes are truly amazing to look at and are wonderfully tasteful.
When you use her for your wedding you will not be disappointed at all.

Tammy Allen Cakes was amazing!!!!! I emailed them for a quote and immediately got a response and was asked to come in to discuss my ideas. I wanted a Texans hat shaped cake made for my husband. On the pick up date, I was surprised with a dozen complementary cupcakes to go with the cake. As if that was not good enough, the cake was breathtaking. Everyone was so amazed and some even thought it was a real Texans hat. The detailing was made to perfection. Thank you so much Tammy Allen Cakes, you guys definitely made my husbands cake something to remember.

I can't tell you how many compliments I have gotten about the cake at our wedding. Our cake concept was very different and we were worried we wouldn't find a vendor who would really grasp the concept. But we were blown out of the water by the job that Tammy Allen did. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was delicious as well. Absolutely loved working with them.

Amazing service, fabulous quality. Tammy called us the two days before the wedding. She said the cake we wanted would be great but if we switched the black with the red it would really pop it. Point is we took her advice and it was perfect. The cake looked like a million bucks. The cake tasted amazing. I will use Tammy for the rest of my life. Words can't describe the feeling I felt as I peeped through the curtains in my bridal suite and saw our gorgeous cake as it was being delivered! I am taking the award for the worlds best wedding cake thanks to the team at Tammy Allen. My vision absolutely came to life!!! The cake was very moist and tasty. There were only crumbs left at the end of the wedding because our guest all wanted second servings of cake. Just an amazing feeling of knowing that not only was our cake perfect on the outside it was perfect on the inside.

Mrs. Allen did a superb job with both my cake and the grooms cake. Everyone complimented on how beautiful they both were. I showed Mrs. Allen a picture of what I wanted both cakes to look like and she nailed it. They looked better than the picture. I had my ceremony and reception in the same venue and she delivered the cakes and came back after the ceremony to set the cakes up. She really cared and wanted to ensure that they were treated with care. Not only were the cakes beautiful but they were both delicious. Guests called me the next day to ask if I had any more. I couldn't have wished for a more professional and satisfying experience with a vendor. She is awesome and I would recommend her services to anyone.

We were 100% pleased with the cake we received from Nate and Tammy! When we arrived for our tasting, they had so many options to look over. We saw so amazing and ornate cakes, as well as simple and elegant. We ended up choosing a simple and elegant design with the almond cake with buttercream frosting... thinking about it making my mouth water! They were a joy to work with too... and as all brides know... when it comes to planning a wedding, you cannot put a price on a painless experience. We just picked up our anniversary cake Saturday! It was wonderful! Truly, they are great people and do a wonderful job!

Tammy provided both the bride's and groom's wedding cakes for their beautiful wedding and reception. The cakes were in place at the appointed time, beautifully displayed. The colors and design were "exactly" what the bride had requested and Mrs. Tammy did not miss any details. The cakes were extremely moist and extremely delicious! My daughter could have not been more happier with her cake vendor selection and remarked that Mrs. Tammy was the sweetest and most personable person to work with. Creatively speaking, she can do anything with a cake you could ever think of. We have used her in the past and will continue to do so without a doubt!

OMG their cakes are delicious! Not only that, but Tammy and Nate are some of the sweetest people we've ever met. We had our first and only cake tasting appointment with them and knew we wanted them to be our baker. It was an easy decision! The cakes were beautiful beyond words. Everyone was impressed with their work and skill! I feel like Tammy Allen Wedding Cakes is a hidden gem and Houston's best kept secret. Although, their popularity is rising quickly, so I recommend booking sooner than later to make sure they're available on your date. They only book certain amount of clients each week to assure the best quality is provided. Just go to their shop and sample some of their work and you'll be convinced to hire them. You won't be disappointed!
