  My husband is a huge Chicago Cubs fan. And a huge sweets fan. I really wanted to do something special just for him on our wedding day. So I decided on a grooms cake. I searched on wedding wire for a baker (our reception hall provided the wedding cake) and after seeing all the beautiful cakes on Sugar N Spice and Everything Iced's page I knew they would be the perfect fit. And once correspondance started with Tracy and Connie I felt completely confident in them. I live out of state and never even got a chance to meet this amazing team. We communicated completely by email and the entire process was so "easy". Any question I had was answered immediately, sometimes we emailed numerous times a day. My husbands favorite Cubs shirt has a cubbie bear wearing Harry Carey glasses. I emailed a picture of the logo for the cake. I wanted two baseball hats on the cake one black with a bowtie and the harry carey logo, one white cap with a veil and a cubs logo on a baseball field. I was truly blown away when I saw that cake, so was my husband, so was everyone at the reception. I think everyone took a picture of that cake. It was so beautiful, better then I thought it could look. We ended up eating the cake at brunch the day after the wedding and it was delicious. My husband had about 5 pieces. We got chocolate, and strawberry cake. The chocolate was unbelievable, and the strawberry was unlike any cake I have ever had, sooo good. Everyone loved it. Connie and Tracy are so great even though I live out of state I really hope I get to eat one of their cakes again, soon!!!

  I first discovered these wonderful ladies at a bridal show. They had the most gorgeous cake I had ever seen and so colorful. Of course when I went to meet them I wanted no vibrant color that I had raved about. We talked and tasted cakes and discussed everything. They were very patient with me and I greatly appreciated it because I wanted something tradional and something not traditional. They worked on giving me just that. My wedding cake was so pretty I didn't want to even cut into it, of course we did though. That was by far the best cake I had ever had. All of my wedding guests said the same thing. My husband who really isn't a cake eater went back for seconds! I could not have asked for a better cake. They were awesome to work with and were awesome on the bank account. This is a must use company as they also recognize the military. Thank you so much for helping creat the most memorable day in my life!

  The cake tasted amazing everyone at the reception loved it. It was just a few minor details that were wrong which I stressed over but my husband said looked fine. The white chocolate cake was by far the best..I suggest everyone try it. Also I order some sugar free cupcakes for the few diabetic family members but they could not eat them because they were hard like a brick and did not look appetizing. The only thing I did not like about Sugar N spice was there lack of response to emails and they were late letting me know when my payments were due. But other then that the cake was amazing!!
