Exceptional
Springers treated me like I was there most important customer from the first time I went there. I can’t say enough about the help I received. They worked with me to help me get the engagement ring I wanted under difficult financial times.
Naomi, Kathy, Chris, and Kelly at the Portland store were all helpful and professional.

Above and Beyond
My husband went to Springer's Jewlers to purchase my engagement ring and we later purchased both of our wedding bands there. Unfortunately there were some issues with my initial engagement ring, of no fault of Springers, but they did everything in their power to make it right. They felt uncomfortable selling us the ring, that would have surely had issues in the future, and instead invited us back in the pick a new ring. Jen was incredibly accommodating and helpful in picking out my new ring, as well as, our wedding bands. She was accessible and very fun to work with! Our experience with Springers could have easily been a sour one, but I know for sure that my husband and I will never shop anywhere else. Zoe helped my husband find the perfect engagement ring. We both decided to get our bands there as well. The entire staff is so helpful and informative. Also it felt good to go with a local jewelry. High quality and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!Zoe helped my husband find the perfect engagement ring. We both decided to get our bands there as well. Very professional and know what they are talking about. Free professional cleaning for your rings. My husband first went to Springer's for my engagement ring, then we happily returned for my matching wedding band and his wedding band. Kathi was fantastic! She worked with my husband to design my dream ring. The quality is amazing, my ring looks as perfect as the day we got engaged. We still stop by every few months to have my ring checked and cleaned. I would absolutely recommend Springer's for all your jewelry needs! My husband first went to Springer's for my engagement ring, then we happily returned for my matching wedding band and his wedding band. When my fiance decided he wanted to propose and walked into Springer's, I know for a fact he didn't think it was going to be as simple and pressure free as it turned out to be. Speaking specifically about Jeremiah, the ring shopping experience was as painless as he never would have imagined. He took the time to understand what my fiance wanted and didn't pressure him once into getting something too expensive or over the top. My fiance knew nothing about diamonds and Jeremiah made sure that he was well educated before trying to find the right stone. Compared colors, cuts, and inclusions, and after my fiance proposed, he proudly gloated how he could tell the difference in colors and point out an inclusion that was super sneaky. Springers made sure they worked within budget and got the price and options down to where my fiance wanted to be. To be honest, I never thought he would go there because I speculated they had high prices. But they don't and they are willing to work with you on everything.
My fiance proposed with a ring that was more beautiful than I thought he could have picked himself, but to my surprise, he customized everything. When I went back in to get it resized, they were very friendly, and although undergoing renovations, got me back my ring in a few days time. I had them fix something else on another occasion and it only took 2 days. Overall, they are a wonderful group of people and we will definitely be going back for wedding bands and future jewelry purchases.

When my fiance went in to purchase my engagement ring, he said they were very helpful in finding the right one. Springer's is one of the few jewellers around who will purchase estate jewelry towards your purchase. When I went in to have my ring resized, I was afraid I was going to have to leave it for at least a week. When I told the jeweler my fear, she told me she would ensure that it be completed overnight. She wasn't exaggerating - it was ready for me the next day!

Lily over at Springer's in Portland helped us every step of the way with creating our custom engraved gold bands. Their engraver did an excellent job, and having the store just a bike ride away from our home was a joy. My fiancé fell in love with a designer ring as we window shopped through Portsmouth Nh one day. I tracked down the artist and started talking with my local springers jeweler about custom building an engagement ring with key aspects she admired about that ring, as well as some unique and important designs/stones that personalized the romance and gesture. They were amazing. Great team of professionals that helped map out my dream ring to propose with! And at a really reasonable rate. The custom process took several months, a lot of emails, ideas, laughter and each store visit came with complimentary wine, creativity and brougt me one step closer to asking the big question!! could not have done it without springers!! highly recommendedMy fiancé fell in love with a designer ring as we window shopped through Portsmouth Nh one day. I found the perfect ring right away - I loved it, didn't have to look at any others. I wanted to go the nontraditional route and wear my band on my right hand, since my engagement ring is a unique design and doesn't match well with a band. So they measured my finger as a size 7, which seemed high as my engagement ring on the other hand is a 5. I get that one hand is bigger than the other - but 2 full sizes seemed like a lot. A couple of things to take in to consideration - I live in Breckenridge, CO at 9,800 feet above sea level with zero humidity. I was trying on rings at maybe 1 foot above sea level during the ridiculous triple digit temperatures with close to 100% humidity. I was clearly swollen. I made this statement, saying that even if the ring ordered fit me for the ceremony - it wouldn't fit where I live. She convinced me to order the size 7. A week later (not the 2 days they assured me it would take) I went to pick up the ring - tried it on and it fell off. The temperatures had dropped to the high 80's at that point and I wasn't nearly as swollen. Now we are about a week away from the ceremony and I have to have the ring sent back for a smaller size (6.5). It can't be re-sized due to the etching on the ring. They assure me again it will take 2 days. It was closer to 4 business days (plus the 2 days that they are closed/don't get deliveries). I think I ended up getting the ring 2 days before the ceremony. They *were* great about contacting me with updates about the ring's status the second time I was waiting for it to be delivered. However, they were very panicked every time I spoke to them - afraid I was going to be a bride-zilla I suppose. I am a very calm person - I get stressed out but I don't show it, I hold it in - but I am very much influenced by the moods of others. So every time they called, very apologetic and panicky, making it a bigger deal than it needed to be - I would start to feel panicky. When the ring finally came in, I went to pick it up and finish paying for it. They gave me the ring and took my credit card and then I watched her talk to another employee about another customer's order for more than ten minutes, while I was waiting for her to just run my card through. The customer whose order they were discussing wasn't even in the store, so it wasn't like someone else was waiting for something - just me. Ordinarily having to wait an extra 10 minutes for someone to complete the transaction wouldn't have stressed me out, but with only 2 days before the wedding and 100 things still to do, that 10 minutes made me very irritated. FYI - I'm back in Breckenridge now, no longer swollen from heat and humidity, and the size 6.5 ring is too big.I found the perfect ring right away - I loved it, didn't have to look at any others.
