This venue is ah-mazing. My family still can't stop talking about how gorgeous everything looked. Most of our interactions were with Janie, and I highly recommend insisting on dealing with her. Janie was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions, and provided a lot of additional advice and assistance when we first started our planning process.
Spring Chateau, and especially Janie, went above and beyond for our wedding day. The women were using one of the on-site cabins to get ready, and Janie allowed the men to use one of the other cabins (not something we had requested beforehand). The way they set up the payment plan in their computer system was a little confusing - we'd been told it was fine for us to make payments here and there, as long as we were paid up by a certain date. I'd still get a monthly email stating that we had lapsed in payments. Apparently this is just a computer system issue, and there was a note in my file saying our payment method was fine. I can't say enough good things about this place!

It saddens me to even start this review. Like any bride wedding planning is one of the most exciting parts of your wedding. When we were looking for our venue I knew I wanted something unique and different. Finding Spring Chateau was very exciting, almost right after our tour there we immediately booked it. As we continued with the planning all was going well.
BOY! Was I sadly mistaken! Sadly after I had ALREADY booked Spring Chateau I ran into a few reviews of the facility... you would think most of the negative reviews were about the facility! NO! All the negative reviews were about "THE OWNER"!!!! After reviewing all the bad... we were pretty much stuck with the venue. I would not get my money back. So of course I called panicking and spoke to Jennifer and Janie with my concerns of "THE OWNER"... they both tried to help me keep my cool and assured me that all will go good. Trust me I did allot of praying that for some reason "THE OWNER" would not show! At my reception I look up and "THE OWNER' is in line to get a plate of food... yes a plate of the food that I PAID for!!! I didn't say anything... I think as allot of brides you try so hard to not let anything or anyone ruin your special day! Boy did I try hard. Everything was going great with the help of my wedding coordinator Janie! Every single person complimented me on how beautiful the hall was and what a great job I had done with the wedding!! Well we were ready for the fire works!!! Sadly due to the un-professionalism that "THE OWNER" has we were notified that "there was a ban on the fire works" funny that we were notified after the DJ made the announcement! Well there was no fire works show! And it was part of my contract! Honestly I could of lived without the fire work show, I was upset that we weren't notified with plenty of time! BUT the most outrageous thing my wedding was scheduled to end at 1am. With the fact that we PAID extra for the extra hours!!! Paid with my money! Not at the owners expense! Stated in the contract all parties have 30 minutes for brake down! The lights were turned on at 1am.... guest were mostly gone... the only ones left were mainly immediate family, like my brothers and sister and parents. They were all helping us take stuff in their cars for us! At this point "THE OWNER" TURNS OFF THE LIGHTS! Yes! Turns the lights off on myself and my guest we were WELL in our time for brake down! We were literally walking around in the dark!!! Pitch dark at that!!! He then goes and tells my guest... You have get out of here!!! How un-professional can one business man get! Literally kicking people out in the dark!!!! These are people's WEDDING... A day that CAN NOT be redone. "THE OWNER" cares nothing to cherish that day for you. It's not always about making a dollar...it's about building relationships with people that will go on and recommend your business to others! I would think as a business man he would know that! My next door neighbors attended our wedding and they have a daughter that's getting married in April of 2012... There would be no way I'd recommend Spring Chateau to them... word of mouth is your business! That's mainly what keeps you going, the un-professionalism of "THE OWNER" IS ONLY taking Spring Chateau to brake. And the sad thing is that it's an amazing and beautiful place! I'd rather pay extra anytime to have better customer service ....not even better customer service... just common sense! Courtesy!!!! Kindness to others! The staff at Spring Chateau tried so hard to help the situation ALL with the exception of "THE OWNER" Monday after my wedding I went to talk to "THE OWNER" he had very little to say......had no remorse in he's actions what so ever. It's a day that no one can replace... and it's so sad that he cared less! All I ask that The Owner of Spring Chateau takes the reviews that brides and grooms put out in consideration... it's your business... care for it!!!

Thank you so much Spring Chateau!! The owner even came by to make sure we were doing all right. I would recommend this location for everyone and anyone! It's beautiful and we had a wonderful experience with them. We would do it all over again..

We had our ceremony in the gazebo & reception in the Spring Chateau hall on 11/11/11. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the price was very reasonable! We did a package for 100 guests which included 1hr ceremony, 4hr reception, reception decorations (linens, tables, chairs, china, napkins) & the cottage (for me & my bridesmaids to get ready) for $3200. Our caterer, Tony (from T&M Catering), did an amazing job! And his prices were awesome too (only $11 per person which included beverage, entree, 2 sides, dinner roll)....especially for the quality of the food! I still have guests talking about how good the food was. I was glad we had some left over...we ate it the next day and it was still freakin' delicious! Willie, the bartender, was also great! He talked with me several times over the phone and was extremely helpful in figuring out how much of everything to buy - he knows his stuff! We used Kakes by Kathy and she worked with me to help figure out the cake decorations and the best way to put our custom cake toppers on the cakes (we had 1.5 pound toppers). She was fabulous and extremely professional. And, last but not least, Janie was on top of everything the day of my wedding. I would highly recommend hiring her for the day of (and she only charges somewhere near $250 which is a steal!).

Spring Chateau is fabulous! Everything went perfectly well ~ chicken Florentine tasted outstanding; wedding coordinator was on top of every detail; DJ played the top songs that kept the dance floor hopping; bartenders were personable and attentive; female minister had words of wisdom, and chapel's acoustics were perfect for guitar strumming as guest filed in. The all inclusive wedding package was well worth the money. I hated for the night to end.

I did not have my wedding here, I had my wedding at Le Jardin, but I would have to say that this place is very nice. They do offer an outdoor or indoor type of wedding, and the staff was very friendly.

My Wedding was July 15, 2011 - And the Day was AMAZING!
However I have NOT rated the facility but would rather RATE THE OWNER and My Coordinator Janie. Janie was absolutely amazing - She helped in everyway she could and the ceremony and reception went off without a hiccup, they were flawless. I did not stress out about anything - I stayed at the facility the night before and the rehersal went by perfect, and accomodations (cottage) was perfect. I would highly recommend to hire her if you do in fact choose this venue. She gets 10-Stars!!!! The decor and facility itself is nice, a little old but very elegant. One draw back, there is NO A/C in the Bridal Suite or Mens/Womens Restrooms. YIKES! I recommend getting ready somewhere other than the Bridal Suite or you will MELT! Now the reason for me not rating this place with 5 Stars is because of... THE OWNER - TALK ABOUT UNCOMFORTABLE. THE OWNER - walk around just staring at everything everyone is doing. THE OWNDER argued with my bartenders, DJ, and my coordinator. Now correct me if I am wrong please - but if you have an employee that does not do something you have asked or they are supposed to do, shouldnt you take them to the office and repremand them there, NOT IN FRONT OF THE GROOM!!! THE OWNER - Didnt believe my bartenders were TABC certified and constantly reminded them of the rules that you have to follow, now both of my bartenders work for a highly established and reputable restaurant chain (32 restaurants to be exact)they do have a license and do know the rules. THE OWNER - told my DJ he had to remove all his cords and lights because he didnt like the way it looked. That he was an electrician and the DJ did not have the proper cords, and shouldnt have put lights on the balcony. Um excuse me OWNER - where the hell else can you put them. THE OWNDER - wanted my DJ to use BRIGHT ORANGE EXTENSION CORDS, instead of the nice pretty black ones he brought in to blend, which he also taped neatly to the floor. The building barely could accomodate the DJ and Band because the outlets were too far away. My DJ is also an electrician he knew what he was doing. THE OWNER - saw me walking to the chapel and couldnt even say HELLO OR CONGRATULATIONS - TO THE BRIDE!!! I mean REALLY - I just dropped a lot of money to have my beautiful wedding here and you couldnt even say Congrats!!! Now the reason I say THE OWNER, is because that was his favorite line - "I AM THE OWNER!!!!" Now he charged me $75 for one extra table, $50 for a portable bar we didnt use, and we didnt even use the Free Fireworks show, you think he could have given us the table since we opt'd out of the fireworks. If you can avoid THE OWNDER, it will be amazing, but if NOT at least your guests will never have to know - mine didnt THANK GOD!!! JANIE WAS THE BEST - AND THAT IS THE REASON MY WEDDING WAS PERFECT!!!

We had both our ceremony & reception at Spring Chateau July 8, 2011. I found the facility through Wedding Wire.
When my mother-in-law & I visited, we were both VERY pleased at how nice the facility was inside and out. The place is absolutely gorgeous! The price was even better! Janie, our wedding coordinator, helped in deciding what we needed and didn't need to stay inside our budget. Packages are almost customizable! We did a package for 100 guest, we got: 1hr ceremony, 4hr reception, caterer, reception decorations & the cottage (for me & my bridesmaids to get ready) for $4,800. Everything was included, no extras for tables, chairs, china, napkins, ect. Our caterer, Chef Tony, did an amazing job! We had about 10 different options for our menu, which with most caterers you have around 3. We received 2 meats, choice of salad, 2 sides, rolls and choice of beverage. I still have guests come up and compliment on how good the food was. One guest said, "That was the best food I have EVER had at a wedding!" Which my husband and I totally agree! The professionalism and flexibility of the staff was fantastic. Janie was in contact with me 24/7 and responded to my emails very promptly. They held an Open House, where we met all their preferred vendors and sampled food from the bakers and caterers. I even got to take my bridal portraits on the property for no extra cost! I recommend Spring Chateau to ANYONE. The HIGH quality of service we received was unbeatable, especially for the price.

If you want to take a chance of having your event ruined, Spring Chateau may be able to comply. My daughters wedding 6/18/11. I am posting this late because the facility has been stringing me along for 3 months claiming they care about their customers. Believe me, they do not. Perhaps if you pay for a coordinator, they are helpful, but if not, you will never see anyone from the management office at your event. The bus servers are unsupervised and unprofessional. They will eat your food and if you confront them, they will insult you in front of your guests. Management has no clue how to run this facility. If you choose this facility, be sure to use your own vendors. Dirty linens on tables and in cottages. No one at this facility cares about anything except money. They will take yours and have no regrets about what happens afterward. Be careful. Choose wisely. Choose another facility just to be on the safe side.

I was very happy with the spring chateau and my cordinator Jenifer took very good care of us. I thought everything turned out beautiful the only negative thing i could say is the flow of the reception didnt go well at times maybe they needed a little more help or should have been more prepared but in the end it all went well and we are happy and probably the only ones who noticed the small things.

I had an amazing wedding at Spring Chateau. Kedra was amazing! She was flexible to my schedule and even stayed late when she knew I was coming by to talk about wedding details. Everything was perfect on my wedding day. I will recommend this venue to everyone. The price wasn't outrageous and the venue was beautiful. The website doesn't do it justice at all. Its great. GO THERE YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED!!

I had an awesome coordinator. Janie was the one thing that made the day go smoothly. The owners are unfriendly and you see them just sitting in the corner watching every move. Also when my guest got to the reception, they weren't allowed in because they site didn't have the updated contract with the new reception time.
