I didn't have too many problems with the officiant, though my husband did. She offers a good price, which after talking to people who wanted to charge us almost $1500 just to officiate our ceremony, we were glad to go with someone who seemed much more affordable. The only issue I had, and one not REALLY avoidable, was the officiant was very late to the rehearsal...she got stuck in traffic and got lost trying to find the venue. She eventually found it and the rehearsal went just fine after that, but at the moment it was somewhat frustrating. The day of, the officiant read off of a binder with our ceremony typed on it....i didn't really think anything of this, but i guess my husband was somewhat disappointed and had not expected her to just read off of a piece of paper. but really, i had so many other things going on in my mind that i didn't notice.
