DJ Tommy Evans went the extra mile to make sure all the sound for the Ceremony was wired correctly, even though the hotel was providing the equipment. The music playlist was modified with the mood of the crowd and had a very smooth flow. The guests had a great time, and definitely left them wanting more when the Reception was over. I have received tons of compliments from the guests on how energetic and lively the music was, and he made the party happen!

Tommy was awesome at providing exactly what we wanted at our wedding reception. We had several unique and specialized requests that he pulled off without a hitch. We were told by numerous guests that this was the most entertaining wedding reception that they had ever attended and Specialty Sounds was a big part in helping to achieve that.

So much fun! I attended a wedding before mine that Specialty Sound DJ'd, and I was not disappointed by my event! Tommy does a great job MC-ing the event; really makes things flow and provides lots of good ideas to get guests involved! Worth the price!

My search to find a DJ was terrible, until my husband and I met Tommy. We booked him right away and had him DJ our wedding back in January. I have nothing but positive things to say about him!! I would recommend him to anyone! He is not only professional but very personable. Every meeting we had with him was very productive. He was more than willing to sit down with us as much as we wanted to make sure our wedding was perfect. During the wedding we had people on the dance floor until the end of the night. Even my parents friends were out there dancing. It was a great mix of songs too. He was worth every penny!

Tommy was amazing! Everyone is still talking about how fun our wedding was and we believe it was because of Tommy! He was worth every penny and we would recommend him to anyone! He is fun, flexible, and very easy to work with! You will not be disappointed!

Tommy Evans was fantastic. We had so much fun at our wedding. He was organized, professional, and so much fun to work with. He gave us some amazing ideas that we used and everyone loved. Everyone talked about how much they liked the entrance of the bridal party and Tommy was the one that helped us come up with it. We were 100% satisfied with his services. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who is planning their wedding.

It would be hard to give Tommy any thing but all 5's. We had fun, our wedding party had a blast and the rest of the guests are still talking about the great time that they had almost 2 months later!!!

I felt like the DJ's set up and sound were very well done and his presence was very professional. However, a lot of our "must play" list songs did not get played, and I was very disappointed by that, because I had dreamed about dancing to those songs at my reception, and a lot of them were of personal significance to either our relationship or to our family and friends. Overall, the service was very well done, and I definitely appreciated his willingness to work with us long distance in our planning, but I don't think it was quite worth how much we spent.

THERE IS NO BETTER DJ THAN TOMMY EVANS!!! Tommy was amazing from the first moment we met him. We had seen him in action at 2 of our friends weddings, so we knew we wanted to book him the minute we got engaged. We met with another person, just for comparison, but it only showed us that Tommy is all that in more when selecting a DJ. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing he is as a person and DJ. He is considerate, truly listens to you and is detailed to the extent where I'm pretty sure he knows me almost as well as my husband does! :) We met with Tommy about 3 times, and each meeting was fun, detailed and stress-free. He provides you with enough information that we never really had any questions for him. He runs his business with a passion and love that truly shines through in his work. When it came down to the reception planning, we planned every minute of the night with him. He acted as more than just a DJ, but as a MC, coordinator, friend and liaison between the other vendors. We planned introductions for our wedding party for the beginning of the reception, and he did an amazing job! From the music, talking about our wedding party and lighting, it seemed like a concert! Everyone was laughing and cheering. As for the dance floor, we definitely needed a bigger floor! People were packed on the dance floor all night and Tommy deserves all the credit for making it happen. The music was amazing, his lighting was breathtaking and the overall night was so much fun because of him. We will never be able to thank him enough!! We plan to keep in touch with him, because he is just that great of a person. Many people have asked us for his information, so we hope that we get to go to another "Tommy" wedding soon!!! Thank you Tommy!!!!

Tommy did a fantastic job at our reception. He kept everyone on the dance floor - even those who we thought would never leave their tables! He even managed to get my grandparents out there for an anniversary dance, which was a wonderful event and treasured memory. His organizational skills are wonderful - I did not have to stress about the reception in any way. The planner he provided was a welcome part of our own planning processes. Tommy is the reason our reception was a success!

They provided wonderful entertainment for our guests. They knew how to play just what everyone wanted, and really kept the party going. I was hoping they would be a bit more interactive with the guests. Overall, they did wonderful. VERY professional and easy to work with!

Tommy's prices were originally well above what we intended to spend on our DJ. However, when we met with him for the first time, we were sold. He is truly a master of ceremonies. You rehearse the short wedding ceremony, but Tommy covers the details of the reception. Our diverse group of family and friends danced for six hours, until he hotel kicked us out! Tommy doesn't have the traditional 4 hour limit, because he so often keeps the party going for longer. He individualized everything to our personalities. We made our grand entrance to the ceremony to AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" and "Oklahoma" to be like the introductions for our favorite sports team, the OU Women's Basketball team. The best part about Tommy was that even though his presence made our reception the best wedding of all times, you hardly even noticed that he was there. I highly recommend Tommy Evans.

For every song he played, he played the full version of it... all 5-6 minutes. People on the dance floor were tired of the song after 2-3 minutes but he just kept playing it. He played oldies for wayy too long in the beginning. He didn't have a great idea of good songs to dance to.
