Tommy did a fantastic job at our reception. He kept everyone on the dance floor - even those who we thought would never leave their tables! He even managed to get my grandparents out there for an anniversary dance, which was a wonderful event and treasured memory. His organizational skills are wonderful - I did not have to stress about the reception in any way. The planner he provided was a welcome part of our own planning processes. Tommy is the reason our reception was a success!

Tommy was the best decision we made. He made our reception wonderful I even had my husband dancing which I never though would happen thanks Tommy :)

Tommy Evans was excellent in reading our group and provided professional and fun entertainment. His technology was fabulous. Tommy exceeded our expectations that night. I would highly recommend Specialty Sound for any occasion.

They provided wonderful entertainment for our guests. They knew how to play just what everyone wanted, and really kept the party going. I was hoping they would be a bit more interactive with the guests. Overall, they did wonderful. VERY professional and easy to work with!

For every song he played, he played the full version of it... all 5-6 minutes. People on the dance floor were tired of the song after 2-3 minutes but he just kept playing it. He played oldies for wayy too long in the beginning. He didn't have a great idea of good songs to dance to.

I must say that I'm quite shocked at having received this review. Firstly, the photos from the evening show a packed dance floor from start to finish. Secondly, most all songs that would be played at a wedding reception are about 3 1/2 minutes in length tops - so I'm not sure where the "all 5-6 minutes" comes from. Since the wedding was two years ago, I can't honestly remember what mix of music was played, so I don't know about the "oldies" comment. Personally, I thought they were a very fun group and the photos show that.
