  Choosing a wedding officiant is a big deal -- they set the tone for the whole wedding -- and I am so glad that we chose Jill Allen!
  
  Jill helped us to create a ceremony that was uniquely ours, providing us with a basic framework and lots of ideas, but then letting us run with our own ideas (like incorporating an "ocean ceremony" since my husband and I are from opposite coasts).
  
  She calmed everyone's nerves at the rehearsal, had treats for the flower boy, reminded our moms to sign the marriage certificate, answered my umpteen emails and questions, looked professional and happy, gave my husband cute ideas (like kissing my hand as we walked back down the aisle -- favorite photo of the day!), and was just one of those women that you'd like to be friends with!
  
  I would HIGHLY recommend Jill Allen and Southern Maine Ceremonies for your wedding. She was a true highlight of our big day!

  Jill was a wonderful officiant! We were so happy that we were able to choose and write our own ceremony, and she had so many materials to help us. She promptly answered the many questions that I kept emailing her. At the rehearsal and ceremony she was professional and efficient and showed how much experience she has in doing ceremonies. She was always flexible and so nice!

  Jill Allen did an absolutely wonderful job officiating our wedding. We did not want a traditional wedding and thought the typical "I do" vows were too boring. After hearing a bit about Jill and her wonderful work, I contacted her. She sent me copies of all sorts of vows and I could choose whatever theme or words worked for me and it just so happened she had the perfect vows that were natural and sea-related. We were having our wedding on the coast and the theme was natural and eco-friendly. The words just flowed so perfectly that even some of my guests pulled her aside after the ceremony to ask her for a copy of the vows! Thank you, Jill!
