Beautiful rentals and great service
Super easy to figure out what rentals you need online! You can create your own estimate and then fine tune it with an associate. The furniture was beautiful and the drop off and pick up teams were great! 10/10 recommended. -

Seamless rentals
The process of renting linens from Southern Events is super easy!! We started the process before we knew our final count and they worked with us and adjusted as needed. We appreciated their flexibility! Their pickup and drop off process was seamless as well! -

Professionalism at its best!
Loved working with Rachel at Southern Events! She was very helpful helping with us put everything together and never tried to over sell! Whenever we had a change or addition, the entire staff were quick to respond to our needs! Highly recommend!!! -

Wonderful experience!
Southern Events was incredibly easy to work with and did a phenomenal job making our wedding day vision come true! We had such a wonderful time working with them selecting all of the dining seating, place settings, and linens for our big day. They were also focused on helping us stay in budget (which we really appreciated)! Would definitely recommend Southern Events to anyone getting married- they were a dream to work with! -

Great Stuff!
We used Southern Events for farmhouse tables, chairs, dishes, glassware, and vendor needs (ie prep tables, linens, buffet supplies). I really appreciated that they have prices listed on the website, and are quick to provide quotes so you can see delivery fees. Everything was delivered, set up, switched over, and torn down in a timely manner. -

Southern Events had EVERYTHING we needed!! We loved all the options and the prices were great for very high quality pieces. The chairs, chargers and linens totally made our wedding day! Use Them for All Your Rental Needs!
Summer and this company are simply put the best! They truly go above and beyond for their clients. They are also one of the best priced rental companies around. I used them for my wedding and they did the most amazing job! Summer was the one who helped me with all my rentals and she is so knowledgeable, friendly, understanding and helpful. I changed my rental order SOOO many times and Summer made all the adjustments with no complaints - she's a wonder! All their rentals were beautiful and they set everything up exactly how I envisioned, if not better. Summer was there on site the day of my wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly and everything got to there it needed to be (along with my wedding planner). I highly recommend hiring Southern Events, you won't be disappointed! -

Responsive and Understanding
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my now husband and I made the unfortunate decision to cancel our wedding on April 3rd, 2020. Southern Events was booked as our rentals vendor and was so wonderful to work with even though we never got to experience their day of services. They were super helpful planning out the layout and completely understanding when we told them we were canceling. Even though they did not provide a refund, they still gave us credit in the total amount that we had paid for any future needs for the rest of 2020. HIGHLY recommend this vendor. -

As a venue manager, I LOVE working with Southern Events! Rachel, Kari and the rest of the team members are so friendly. They stay in constant communication with our venue. For my recent August wedding, I was looking for a particularly shaped console table and unfortunately the vendor we had used for most of my rentals did not have anything I was looking for. Through a quick Google search, it looked like Southern Events had EXACTLY what I was looking for so after a quick phone call, I was set up with an Account Manager and found out the table was available and immediately it was “mine”…did I mention this was less than two weeks away from my wedding?! I can’t express how easy the process was and I can’t imagine how stress-free it would have been had we used them for all of our rentals. So glad they came in to save the day! -

Ask for Summer! She did a fabulous job keeping both the reception rentals and rehearsal dinner rentals completely organized even with my constant updates. Southern Events staff are very professional and responsive to your needs and requests. The table settings at both the casual rehearsal dinner bbq and the formal dinner at the reception were gorgeous. Delivery and pickup were efficient and convenient. -

My husband and I planned our wedding in Columbia from Michigan. Working with Kristina at Southern Events was a delight. I never doubted that everything would be taken care of. We rented months in advance and Kristina was even able to send me photos of all the rentals setup for me to get a feel of what it would look like on wedding day. There was a small issue a few days before the wedding but Kristina called me and made everything work out perfectly. Would use Southern Events in a heartbeat!

My advice for anyone getting married is, BOOK WITH SOUTHERN EVENTS!
My fiance and I planned our entire wedding out of state and Heather over at Southern Events was on our order(s) very quickly. As many of you know, planning a wedding has hiccups and multiple changes along the way. Every time I emailed Heather I had a response within 24 hours. She offered advice and was beyond patient with us. She took so much time with us to make sure our special day was perfect. They delivered when they said they would and had the delivery truck there on time to pick everything up at the end of the night. The products were exactly as depicted in photos, if not better.

Our wedding looked amazing thanks to Southern Events! I loved being able to see everything that was available online and we had a great time at our consultation getting to pick and see all of the rental items to choose from in person. We also took a tour of the warehouse and picked out the vintage door and farm tables-it was a lot of fun and Summer was very easy to work with. I probably emailed and called 10 times to update something to our invoice and they were very kind and quick to help! The day of the rentals arrived on time and their team set everything up exactly where we wanted it!

I was having a small wedding on a small budget. I was providing everything I needed for the wedding and reception myself, except the chairs. I needed 36 chairs delivered and set up by 8:00 a.m. and broken down and removed by noon on the Saturday of my wedding. Three other vendors on Wedding Wire (Liberty, Maryblossom, and Music City Tents) were going to charge hundreds of dollars extra to deliver by 8:00 a.m. and pick up by noon because it was outside their Saturday warehouse hours of 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (Imagine party rental places that don't do Saturdays!) And Liberty would have charged the same amount even if I had found a way to either pick up or return the chairs myself and Liberty had done the other. Two of them (Maryblossoms and Music City Tents) had a minimum rental/purchase of more than $1,000!
But then I found Southern Events. Southern Events did not require a minimum rental. The coordinator, Aimee Eisenmenger, was responsive and very helpful. The men who delivered and picked up the chairs were quick and very friendly. They set the chairs up and took them down without any commotion. The chairs were clean and in great condition. I'd recommend Southern Events for anyone who wants a stress-free wedding/reception and doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg. -

Heather was our contact and she was not only sweet, but super creative and understood exactly the "look" we were going for at our wedding! When our guest list changed at the last minute, they were super flexible! They coordinated with our venue to do all of the load in and removal of tables and chairs and everything went incredibly smooth! Southern Events is a great place to rent nearly anything, from chairs and tables, to linens, flatware and various decor. We rented almost everything through Southern Events except for our tent. Everything was lovely and really met the vision that I had for our wedding day. A shout out to Aimee who was very helpful when we were selecting our linens, flatware, glasses and decor. I am very pleased with Southern Events Rentals. I picked them off of the internet and found them to be friendly, helpful and reasonable in price. I looked at several other local rental places for the exact same tables and chairs and linens for my wedding but chose Southern Events. They are very polite and it was helpful to know I could depend upon them to cater to my event even at a moment's notice of the amount needed. I highly recommend them and would use them again if I needed to. I love their variety of couches and extra vintage looking furniture!

Southern event rentals was wonderful to work with for our October wedding. Heather was always very helpful and responsive. We had a family style dinner and changing guest count until almost the last minute. We also had an unexpected cold front come through and had to add last minute heaters. Throughout all of this, we found the services of Southern event rentals extremely helpful and accommodating. They have everything from basic chair rentals to heaters and decorations. Really a wonderful place to work with. -

Southern Events is, without a doubt, the best rental company. We used them for rentals for our recent wedding reception and I couldn't have been happier! They have a great selection, with so many unique pieces. Laura is so much fun to work with, and they guys who delivered and set up our rentals were the best! They went above and beyond just setting up tables and chairs. They were so pleasant to work with, and made sure every table was set up just where I wanted. Seriously, its so worth it to get them to set up the tables, chairs, and linens for you. They paid attention to all the details and I didn't have to move a single table! -

If you are looking for wedding furniture and decor rentals, I highly recommend Southern Event Rentals in Nashville. We used them for our wedding and reception in April 2014 and were extremely pleased. They have an entire showroom of quality choices to fit any theme and venue. We just LOVED the vintage prop shop! Weddings are special and we found it so easy to make these big decisions with Chelsea. Chelsea is super professional, easy to work with and has a great sense of humor; she also helped us with several other vendor recommendations and has great experience with all-things-wedding. It’s safe to say I made a lot of revisions (and I mean a lot) and she was patient with me and made enjoyable. It can be expensive, but they offer several packages to fit any budget. It is SO worth every penny. We loved everything and our guests did, too! Thank you for making our day so perfect! -

As MOB I helped alot with planning. Visit Southern Events website and you will have so much info prior to visiting their showroom and storage area. Staff are very professional and you can tell they all are a great team with a lot of experience and a great 'can do' attitude. -

We used Southern Events for our daughter's wedding. Laura and all the staff were such a pleasure to work with. She was always there to answer any questions, give suggestions, and even encouragement when needed. I was beyond impressed with Southern Events. The set up and tear down process was seamless, and the room looked simply amazing. We also rented some chalkboard and had them decorated, and they were perfect. Would use them for any event in a heartbeat!!! -

We rented tables, chairs, lounge seating and coffee equipment from Southern Events and loved the items provided! The fruitwood folding chairs for our guests and crossback chairs for our sweetheart table especially looked amazing! If I could give Southern Events more than 5 stars, I would! Laura, Jill and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. They love to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need and want to fulfill your vision. They gave great suggestions and were beyond helpful with figuring out logistics. They even created a custom floor plan for my venue. I loved that they threw the linens and set the chairs for us. That allowed my mom, husband and me to relax and truly enjoy the day instead of running around doing all of that ourselves. . My wedding planner scheduled a meeting with Laura Wall at Southern Events Party and Event Rentals. Laura was absolutely wonderful! She was attentive to the details, fabulous to work with and flexible as my plans continued to develop. I was wedding planning, moving out of state and making a career transition all at the same time in a 6 month time period. Needless to say, I had a lot on my plate! Laura made my reception rentals so easy. I especially liked that they were the only vendor who offered a military discount (my fiancé is a veteran) and who had the best color napkins and chair ties to match my David's Bridal bridesmaids dresses; their Aubergine matched the Sangria color beautifully.
Laura was familiar with our reception venue - W.O. Smith School of Music - and they had a large selection of rentals to offer. My advice to future brides: There is no reason to look any further than Southern Events. They have the best selection, the best staff to assist you and the best reputation for client satisfaction.

The women at Southern Events knew exactly what i wanted and made it happen. They were very flexible with my budget and up until about a week before we were still adding and subtracting items. I used the mixed china set for place settings and it was so perfect. also ask about getting the new whiskey barrels. we used them for bistro tables and the cake table. we used 2 couches some chairs and it just felt like a living room was discovered in the woods which is exactly what i was going for. I never could have done all this on my own. These women are amazing and their team just put it up and took it down right before my very eyes. i was amazed.
If i ever need a rental company for anything in the future i will go straight to Southern Events! -

I used southern event rentals for my wedding rental company and I was beyond impressed. I worked with Laura Wall on my order and this was by far the most fun part of wedding planning! I had a certain vision and she emailed back and forth with me constantly, sharing ideas, providing suggestions and then amending my order accordingly. She also worked with me to make sure that for my basic catering order - I got pieces which were affordable and within my budget. I looked at all nashville area rental companies and I was very impressed with southern events inventory but beyond this, their price point was very reasonable, if not more affordable than the larger rental companies - the difference is they provide much more individualized service and flawless execution on the day of the wedding. -

The biggest lesson I learned in planning my wedding was through booking my chairs, tables, silverware, dishes etc. I contacted Southern Events about 10 months prior to my wedding and so much changed in the time period from booking to the actual wedding day, I probably had my invoices changed at least 10 times but Aimee was amazing and made the whole process so easy! She worked well with the requests of myself and my coordinator and made everything just so easy! The final look of everything on the actual day was perfect and the staff members were completely professional and courteous! Such a delight to work with. -

Laura at Southern Rentals gave me such great help with working out what we would need for my daughter's Barn wedding ... she was so helpful and patient ... one of the things I loved the most was that I could personally go look at all the equipment we were interesting in renting in person and take photos so we could be sure of what we needed ... -

Laura Wall at Southern Events was wonderful to deal with. This was my first time as mother of the bride, so I really didn't know what was going on! Laura imparted such wisdom, patience and kindness towards me. She even worked with me on a few details up to the day before the wedding! Always she was very professional and got right back with me on the details. The reason I put a 4 on the "value" category is that I felt I could have purchased the table linens a lot cheaper had I wanted to pursue that avenue. But, for the services they provided, PRICELESS! -

Excellent customer service! Laura was the best! She was very helpful with suggestions (everyone loved the tealight trees!) & patient with all my additions--even the day before my wedding! Renting the square tables (that I just had to have), chairs, linens & tealight trees was the least stressful part of planning my own wedding. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND Southern Event Rentals without hesitation! -

Southern Events provided everything we needed for the ceremony and reception- which were in the same location due to rain. They were able to flip the room from ceremony to reception without any fuss and the rooms looks stunning! Everything was ready on time even with the rearranging that had to happen when the rain didn't stop- they were able to make everything look so good that the guests didn't even know that the ceremony didn't take place where we'd planned (it was supposed to be outside)! The flow of the rooms was smooth and easy, we had enough seating and dishes the whole night. Tables looked beautiful and everything moved smoothly- it was such a relief to have such professional people doing a wonderful job!

I loved working with Southern Events, They have very cute items plus a huge variety to choose from. At times hearing back to an email would take a couple of day, but that is to be expected, I am not their only client! They were extremely flexible and helpful with giving me ideas but also helping to give me an idea of what I would need. -

We enjoyed working with Southern Events. First, we went to their showroom to pick out our tables, chairs, and linens. They have a nice selection of all of these products that are good quality, and the showroom was very helpful. We thought their prices were a little steep, but the competitors weren't any better. They also told us that we could adjust the amount of rentals based on the RSVP count closer to the wedding date. We ended up keeping all the rentals we originally reserved, but it was nice to have that option if needed. They were flexible on the delivery date and delivered on time to the venue. However, we were short 1 lantern and 11 candles that were supposed to be included with the price of renting the lanterns. One of the delivery men quickly called a manager to let him know, and we were told the items could be picked up at their office or delivered to the venue the next day. They were true to their word and delivered the missing items the next day. All of the rental items arrived in good condition and were picked up on time after the event. Overall, Southern Events is a good company to work with. -

Awesome Wedding Day Rentals
We ran point in planning our wedding and decided to book the Cordelle, a venue located in Nashville, TN. This space is great but it does not come with any tables, chairs or china/glassware.
Therefore, during our engagement, we met with 4 different rental vendors in the area. We liked many of them & their inventory, but for what we were looking for and our price range, we found Southern Events to be the best fit. I worked directly with Summer Sheldon. She was very helpful and patient - because we are not formal wedding planners, there were a lot of revisions to our original quotes to get all of the right items for our wedding day. We learned along the way that you can pay an extra fee to book a specific delivery time. That was important to us due to the venue we chose. From my understanding, the vendor arrived on time per what was mentioned on the contract & although there was a bit of a mix up the day regarding some tables - I would have never known since it was quickly figured out.
I would definitely advise taking a day off, scheduling an appointment and meeting them at their office. In addition, we decided to bring a replica of what our flower centerpieces would like which helped us to land on a color palette. Overall, Summer did a great job walking through the basics of what we need. During our appointment we took pictures and staged what we wanted everything to look like. I would recommend this vendor to any couple looking to reserve some rental pieces.

They have great options, and the staff is super helpful. One thing that was frustrating was they wanted, 3 days before the wedding, to add on a charge for late night pick up - so just be sure to address this issue in your first meeting. They worked something out with my planner and we didn't have to deal with any unexpected changes, so in the end i was very happy. -

Booked Southern Events for most of our event rentals for our daughter's wedding after interviewing 4-5 local, top rated event rental companies. Southern Events carried the type of materials we were looking for to create the feel in the venue space. Heather was very responsive; changed our order many, many times and researched needed items for us. All materials were provided as booked and delivered on-time and were of good quality. Setup and tear down was quick and painless. Only issue was the extra delivery fee for Sunday delivery and other additional fees; in the end Southern Events provided high quality items at a competitive price. Southern Event Rentals were professoinal and courteous as we planned our wedding. I was not the easiest client as we has a backyard wedding that seemed to be constatnly changing into something new with new needs. They were flexible and easy to work with.
We did have a small setback with tables. We ordered tables to seat 10 per table (they suggested 8-10 per table), but they could only comfortably fit 8. But, they managed to get us extra tables and linens the morning before the event! -

Everything provided by Southern Events was beautiful. My only issue was that they didn't have runners for all six tables, so a few were mismatched (we just put them in a different room). Other than that, I would definitely recommend! The staff is very nice and cooperative and they have lots of cool stuff to choose from. -

I have used Southern Events twice now: my son's rehearsal dinner in 2008 and my daughter's wedding reception in 2011. They did a great job both times in assisting us with color selections for the tables, table sizes, and room layout. The tables and chairs are high quality and sturdy. The table linens looked brand new! They were always on time with delivery and pick-up. I would highly recommend them. -

Southern Events was recommended to me through my venue. Although a little expensive, they were extremely flexible when it came to the set up and rentals. I think I emailed Summer a million times the two weeks before the wedding, and she was kind and responsive every single time. My only complaint is actually from my family. When they went to go set up for the wedding on that morning, our venue was actually late opening the place up for us. Although Southern Events was helpful and had their own key, they were very disorganized. Apparently they lost the sheet that had the plans until one of my family members found it. It was nothing more than a bit of stress, but overall I was impressed with this company. -

Southern Events helped to make our wedding vision come to life, even with the knit-picky budgeting we were doing. They helped to fine-tune our rental proposal many times and with quick responses. The wedding day came together beautifully! We did opt for recyclable wooden flatware instead of silver, because renting every single item can really add up. Also, there was the tiniest miscommunication with the set-up crew about our head table only having one side of chairs, when our diagram showed chairs on both sides (8 chairs instead of 16). This caused a tiny confusion with the parents and grandparents who were sitting there, but it was quickly resolved. By the time most of the people had entered the reception, the extra chairs were there, and we didn't even know that had happened until after returning from our honeymoon. The rental office is very organized, responsive and professional. The delivery crew just made an assumption that we wanted a traditional-style head table, but by having the diagram made by the Southern Events office -- I think our servers and wedding coordinator were easily able to fix the problem. The items available for rent are really amazing, and they have many options to fit your budget. It's a great place to pick a few things to splurge on (like our dessert farm table) and some things to just get basic (like the basic bar option). Overall, a great experience! -
