DJ Mike made our night seem like a dream. We felt so honored and he enjoyed to be there partying with us! It wasn't work for him, it was him having a great time with us! His set up was fantastic, took so many great photos throughout the entire night to capture it, and made sure consistently throughout the night that our wants and needs were being met. We felt like we were back in college again dancing with our friends and would not have had it any other way. He did a fantastic job as well with how he played classical and older music first, and then worked in more modern music to our liking. He made our night one special memory for life!

Mike was incredible from the first day I booked his services. On our initial call, Mike was kind, responsive, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. The “week of”was even easier with the link to upload our day of information which made it easy to get organized. Our wedding ran so smooth with Mike as our DJ and we are so grateful. We also had an accompanist and guitarist that he connected with prior and made sure they were able to hook up to his equipment. He made that process so easy. Our dance floor was so fun all night and he truly made our night special! He also took incredible pictures of our venue, decor, our families, dance floor.. so kind! Thank you Mike!

Mike is the MIX MASTER!!!!! He kept the vibes up the entire night, the dance floor was packed! We met DJ Mike at a friends wedding. My husband who does not dance got on the dance floor! I joked we had to have him and the rest is history! Mike was amazing and we cannot recommend him enough! At our planning meeting with him, he was very professional and had great ideas to execute our vision and make our night unforgettable. He set the perfect tone for the entire reception with his high energy, enthusiasm, and smooth transitions.
Mike made sure the entire night flowed perfectly. Right before the bridal party and our grand entrance, Mike came over to us and explained exactly what was going to happen. He instantly made us feel relaxed and ready to go. He kept our guests packed on the dance floor the entire night and knew exactly how to read the room.
He even had an assistant with him taking photos and videos of special details at our reception and the dance floor as well. They even captured our sparkler exit in the freezing cold! The most important role at your reception is your DJ, and Mike exceeded our expectations!

Incredible DJ
We had the honor to be able to work with Mike for our wedding day and wow, we were so impressed. Mike is so energetic, engages with people, and is so passionate about what he does and it truly shows. From the very beginning when Mike arrived to our wedding, he was present, attentive, and on top of everything. He continued to check in with not only myself and my now husband, but also with other family members as well. Not only is he a super fun and energetic person, he was so professional and did everything we asked. Music was very important to us on our big day so we were extremely picky about what we wanted played and he truly brought everything to life. DJ Mike was open, transparent, clear, and authentic with his responses to our questions. He never over promised, dealt with all stages of planning our wedding with us and spontaneous last minute changes with humility and grace, read the room beautifully, and navigated a challenging musical need extremely well. By the latter, I mean that by getting married at the Indianapolis Zoo, there were strict restrictions to decibel levels as dolphins are acoustically sensitive and we are in their home, first and foremost. He knew this venue and was more than up to the challenge. His adaptability had us floored and allowed our guests to be as they are without recourse. He was in constant communication with us throughout the night. His professionalism sets the gold standard for the industry. I highly recommend his services for any and all DJ services and his prices are extremely reasonable and easily spelled out. He made the labor of love of getting married feel less like a burden to others and more like a team working to make a vision manifest into the physical. He also kindly took pictures of the days events and sent them to us directly without us being asked to give another eye to the day's events which is rarely seen.

DJ Mike did an absolute amazing Job and Logan and I could not recommend him more. We were dealing bad weather scares on and off leading up to the ceremony and not only was he dealing with his equipment, but he was helping the whole time with moving decorations with the coordinator. He goes above and beyond for his couples, and was being so encouraging the whole time. Throughout the night he never let the party die, and he reads the room so well on when it’s time to mix it up.

From the start, we knew we were in good hands with DJ Mike! Everything about him is high quality - his planning, his equipment, his execution, and most importantly, he is an all-around great dude. Mike is incredibly thorough in his planning and goes out of his way to ensure that the couple is getting everything they want on their special day. The audio for the ceremony was absolutely perfect and everything we asked for.
DJ Mike keeps the dance floor popping all night long. There wasn’t a second where it wasn’t packed. He is truly gifted in his profession. His passion for this craft shows in his work…so much so that we and dozens of guests were still talking about how awesome the DJ was weeks after the wedding!

DJ Mike set the bar high after the first time we spoke to him and then continued to crush our expectations! Mike went above and beyond in every aspect – he even documented our entire day with photos from his perspective (actually captured our favorite wedding photo!). On a day with a lot of chaos, he was always there with a “hey, I’ve got this, trust me”, and we did. From ceremony audio, cocktail hour, wedding party entry, first dance, father-daughter dance, bride & groom re-entry, everything he did was perfect. Then he absolutely killed it with his music for the dance floor! Remix after remix, reading the room and controlling things perfectly. So much that people at the wedding didn’t notice other aspects of the night because they never left the dance floor. We lost count of how many times we were asked “where did you find this guy?!” and then passing on his details to friends. He’s still one of the first things mentioned when people talk about our wedding. Amazing DJ!!
Mike was the DJ for my daughter's wedding last weekend. He was absolutely amazing! He met with us a couple times before the wedding to get an understanding of what my daughter and future son-in-law wanted and the "vibe" they were envisioning. He was always very kind and professional.
The actual reception was amazing. It was so much fun, and our guests absolutely loved him. He kept the dance party going until the very end, and the dance floor was packed the whole night.
Mike also did a great job carrying out any special requests. For example, we asked him to do special recognitions for grandparents during the anniversary dance, and he did an incredible job with that; it was so special. Many of our guests commented that it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding, and everyone was commenting about our awesome DJ.

If you are considering dj mike campbell, read this first!
Please know by choosing this DJ, you will be left with no other option than to give this guy 500 starts out of 5. He will keep your wedding or any event you have, continue to flow! Mike took every question or worry I had away, I wasn’t able to get a coordinator for the wedding so having a prompt DJ who knows how to keep things flowing, and direct people& the event transitioning times from first dance, to the shoe game, to cake cutting, after ceremony to the cocktail hour and introductions, was a must. This guy does it all. If you choose to spend this $$$$ you will never regret it. He knew the exact type of music we wanted and DID not want & completely respected it. He was so in tune with everything & you can tell he takes pride in his work! My HUSBAND and I can NOT recommend him enough. Mike was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish! My husband had several coworkers recommend him, and we were able to see why. He has so much passion for this business and does so well at it. Not a single blip from ceremony to last dance. The best DJ that you could hire for any event! Mike is so easy to work with and has so many ideas and suggestions if you're stuck on what to do for music in certain aspects of the day. He creates a profile for you that has a list of suggestions of top songs for weddings/anything you could imagine. His positive energy just got everyone ready for the dance floor to open. And must I say our dance floor was PACKED from the second the dance floor was open to the very last song. Another amazing part about booking with Mike is that he and his wife take pictures throughout the night so you can have photos right away from your special day while you wait for your photos to get back. DJ Mike absolutely killed it as he always does. I have been to a few weddings that Mike has DJ’d, but this time it was my own. I have known Mike for many many years and he watched me grow up being one of my parents neighbors for many years. So when I got engaged, I knew hiring Mike to DJ our wedding was a no brainer and oh my I was correct.
Mike does an OUTSTANDING job and really helps make your day truly special. We were a bit stressed and nervous before as it is a lot of planning, but Mike assured us that the day would go perfectly and it truly did. Mike was integral to our special day and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. It wouldn’t have been as perfect of a day without him!!!

The BEST DJ around!!
When I first connected with DJ Mike, I was so impressed by his passion, his energy, & the way he connected with me on the phone call. My husband and I had our reception on our 1-year anniversary after eloping so that we could include our family & friends, but our reception was a bit non-traditional. as I shared my ideas with DJ Mike, he was so excited to help bring my visions to life… and he delivered so perfectly!
It’s been 2 weeks since our reception and I STILL am getting comments about how incredible our DJ was!! The way he mixes the music to create high levels of energy is so well executed - I was on the dance floor the ENTIRE night having the best time.

We had the privilege of having Mike Dj our wedding last year and we have nothing but great things to say. From our first meeting to the day of the wedding he was nothing but accommodating. The first time we talked, we could see the excitement he had not only for us, but also to be part of our big day. He made a point to bring up every little detail and walk us through his recommendations based on past experience. Anything we hadn’t yet thought of, he was sure to bring up and ask our preferences.
When it came to our music choices, Mike perfectly balanced our specific song and genre request with his recommendations based on years in the industry. We had very broad requests of the style and genre we wanted during the reception, and left the rest up to Mike, and he was spot on. Our dance floor was packed all night and there was never a dull or slow moment.
Multiple times throughout the day, Mike was checking in on both of us, grabbing us drinks, willing to do anything he could to help us out while he had downtime. It was little things like these that made his service exceptional and memorable.

No Better Choice
I am not even sure I know where to start!!! But Mike & Jen ( his wife), are just BEYOND AMAZING!!! I have watched so many of his DJ/wedding posts of other's special night. I couldn't wait for it to be my daughter & new son's turn. Everything from the sound system for the actual ceremony to the final dance of the night was just EPIC!!! The extra pictures that they took were just the whipped cream & cherry on top of the day!!! And the fact that they LOVE what they do & you can see it in their eyes as well!!! By choosing them....you are GUARANTEED to have a WEDDING CEREMONY/RECEPTION FOR THE AGES!!! I can't THANK THEM ENOUGH!!!@

Best DJ ever!
Mike is not just a DJ our entire family agreed he needs to be invited to family functions…as a guest! His energy is great! You meet him once and feels like you’ve known him forever! He knows how to get people out on the dance floor! I heard “this DJ is great” so many times thru out the night.

There aren’t enough words to explain how AMAZING DJ Mike was at our wedding. He was thorough with every detail and exceeded our expectations. He was flexible when we wanted to add an extra hour to the end of our reception because we were having sooo much fun dancing!! If you want the greatest DJ east of the Mississippi DJ Mike is your guy. We are four weeks after our wedding and people are still talking about it! And I quote “The best reception I have ever attended”. Thank you DJ and Book him today you won’t be disappointed!

Wedding DJ
DJ Mike was great from beginning to end. We had been to another wedding he worked and he was our first call because of that. After the initial consulting call, we knew we didn’t have to do any more. He communicated great throughout the planning process, was extremely flexible, and overall great to work with. During our final planning call he said his goal was for us to hang up and feel nothing but excitement and that’s exactly what happened. He brings energy to everything he does. The day of the wedding was great, he started out the dance floor with a bang and never let it stop. We had multiple people comment about how good the DJ was and we couldn’t agree more. Our experience with him truly was top notch. Thank you Mike!

Dj Mike is literally the best DJ! He can read the vibe of a room and within seconds change things up. He’s amazing at what he does and I would 100000% recommend him as a reputable vendor! What I love most about Mike is he cares about you and your day. However you want it to look, he will do what he can to make that happen. He is so kind and easy going. Best DJ in Indy!
My husband (fiancé at the time) and I had been to a friends wedding that Mike was DJ’ing and we knew right away that we had to book him for ours. Our friends had great things to say about working with him so he was one of the vendors that we felt very confident with. After booking with him, we didn’t have anything to do until the week of, which was really nice considering how many vendors are emailing you and giving you to-do’s. After we had our phone call with Mike to go over music selections and day-of details, we felt so much more excited for the wedding day! And let me tell you, he delivered! He played music for all ages, and the dance floor was popping until the end. We truly wanted to have fun as a newly married couple but also wanted our guests to have a great time too, and he did just that and even added a few of his own personal touches to the day. My dad was also a huge Mike fan since both of their names are Mike, and that was a huge plus knowing my family was letting loose and enjoying the night as well-DJ Mike made sure of that! A huge thanks to Mike for making our wedding day go off without a hitch. Go book Mike right now if you want to have a fun and dress free day, you won’t regret it!!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!
I hired Mike for my son's wedding in August. I am also a wedding DJ in the Indianapolis area and even though I have a team of DJs who work for me, Mike has been a friend for many years and my son agreed that he would be a great fit for their big day.
It was so nice to be able to be in the moment all day and to enjoy the other side of a wedding as the Father of the Groom. I knew that Mike would take care of everything and make it a night to remember.
He did NOT disappoint!
On a personal level, Mike is an amazing guy and a great friend. On a professional level, he is one of the BEST DJs in Indy. The ceremony music was perfect, the microphones were crisp and clear, the announcements and transitions were flawless! When it came time to open the dance floor, it was immediately packed and it stayed that way until the last dance of the night. Mike even had a speaker set up outside for the end of the night send off.
If you are needing a DJ for your wedding, Mike is a choice that you will not regret!

The BEST Choice for DJ
We had the pleasure of having Mike as our DJ and MC for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! Mike went above and beyond to make our special day memorable. He played all of our requested songs, kept the timeline in check, and handled the MCing flawlessly. He helped us get organized before the wedding and had a database with many different song recommendations.
What really sets Mike apart is his genuine enthusiasm for what he does. It’s clear he loves his job, and it showed in his energy throughout the night through his constant smile. His wife, Jen, was a wonderful addition. In addition to DJing and MCing, the two of them captured over 150 beautiful photos and shared them the next day.
Mike’s ability to read the crowd and adapt the music to the vibe was exceptional. He had everyone on the dance floor, even converting my mom into an EDM enthusiast towards the end of the night. He was even able to mix together two very different songs to create a requested mashup for my father/daughter dance. Our guests were even chanting “one more song” at the end of the night.
Mike made our wedding an unforgettable experience, and I absolutely recommend him to anyone seeking a DJ who not only delivers but genuinely cares about making your event exceptional. Thank you, Mike, for making our night incredible!

Mike helped my husband and I with some song choices we couldn’t quite decide on. I received so much feedback of how much of a great DJ he was the WHOLE night. We could not have had a better experience with DJ Mike! Not only does he play excellent music, but he also helped us rearrange our reception to be a lot more efficient for us and fun for the guests. He was super proactive and accommodating to any of our requests. DJ Mike designed mixes from all eras and genres so that we had guests of all ages dancing the entire night. We received so many compliments after the reception on how much guests enjoyed his music and energy. We will 100% recommend DJ Mike to any couple looking for reception entertainment!

The best DJ we've ever experienced!
"Absolutely incredible DJ", "The most fun we've ever had dancing at a wedding", "I asked him for his business card"...these were just some of the glowing responses we heard from our guests throughout our wedding night and the entire week after. We had people send us thank you cards for inviting them to the "most fun wedding" they'd ever been to. All of this was thanks to DJ Mike and his wife, Jen.
DJ Mike had every single guest out on the dance floor. He started with oldies but goodies that got everyone from age 2 to age 92 up off their feet. He then transitioned into some modern hits and blended each song together seamlessly. Besides his excellent DJ skills, Mike is also just a wonderful guy to work with. Enthusiastic, professional, and genuine. You can tell he loves his job. He was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding. Hire DJ Mike!!

Absolutely cannot say enough good things about DJ mike!!!!! I knew we had made the right choice hiring him for our wedding when I heard how amazing he was able to remix our processional song EXACTLY as we had envisioned. Things only got better from there as our reception was a nonstop, dance-floor packed party from the second the dance floor opened, until last call!!! DJ Mike didn't play a single bad song all night, and while everyone's feet will be sore for days/weeks, it was exactly the wedding day/night we always dreamed of!!! THANK YOU DJ MIKE!

Played non-stop hits on my daughter and son-in-law’s “must play” list. You know you’ve hired a great DJ when the dance floor is packed with wedding guests of all ages the entire night. I’ve never seen so many guests dancing at one time. The music rolled so hard that most never left the dance floor except to get a drink or use the restroom. After so many quarantined weddings, it was satisfying to see young people dance again. I know our DJ made the wedding an outstanding one for the younger guests; they were visibly sad when last call and last dance were announced.

If I could give Mike 1,000 stars I would! I knew of DJ Mike after he did my sister in laws wedding! He’s incredibly fun and knows all the right jams! He makes sure to play all your requested songs. The girls and I got down to so many Jonas Brother hits. My 1.5 year old even got her two favorite songs played (we don’t talk about Bruno had us all screaming the lyrics)
Wish we could get married again just so we could dance the night away with Sound Advice!

DJ Mike quite literally left our wedding guests chanting “ONE MORE SONG” at the end of our reception! He was extremely easy to work with, as well as worked incredibly well with our venue and other wedding vendors. He touched base with my husband and I the week before the wedding and talked through our entire wedding day so we had no worries when the big day came! It is evident that DJ Mike is passionate about what he does and did an amazing job of keeping the party going all night long! He followed our playlists requests and continued to match the vibe with every song he played! DJ Mike also takes pictures of the wedding and posts them right after the wedding, which is super nice to have something to look back at and reminisce! DJ mike was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!! Immediately after talking to him on the phone it was easy to see how great of a guy he is and how much he loves DJing!! All of my worries about finding a DJ were immediately put to ease and we knew we needed him for our big day. If you’re looking for the best dj, look no further because Mike is the best. I cannot express in words how great of a DJ mike was at our wedding. First of all, he is so passionate about his job and truly wants to make your wedding day perfect. You can immediately tell after speaking to him that he absolutely loves his job. He will go above and beyond to give you the wedding you want and will be there every step of the way. He did an excellent job with the music but also did wonderful at keeping us on track and photographing moments for us. His wife was so helpful and they made such a great team throughout the whole night. He is the absolute full package and I am so glad we hired him for our wedding day. Simply the best
If you're looking for a wedding DJ who is responsive, organized, flexible, prepared, and delivers a fun event, then DJ Mike is your man. He helped us navigate a last-minute change from a wedding at a venue to a small and intimate backyard wedding due to COVID mandates and put our minds at ease in the weeks leading up to the wedding that he had everything under control. As the stress picked up shortly before the wedding, Mike offered a couple of much-needed pep talks that the vibe, music, and event flow were in great hands with him. On our wedding day he went above and beyond to deliver the experience we hoped for despite all of the challenges in the current environment. It sounds simple but we also appreciated that he played the songs we wanted while adding others to complement and create the vibe we experience we were looking for. He kept the event moving without feeling rushed and he made sure our guests had a fun environment. To top it off, he had photos on Facebook the next day for us to relive our event. I would definitely recommend him!! Mike is fantastic! My husband is very into music and he was able to talk to mike multiple times and add a lot more requests/playlists than I’m sure most people do. He has a great website set up to help with organization, do not play songs, and those you want. He calls to check in close to the wedding to make he has more info about timeline and who is involved. I was impressed even before the wedding. We had great music in all parts of our day, but the dancing was amazing! He is the best at keeping everyone on the dance floor and reading the room and knowing exactly what to pick. It’s hard to take a break because there was no songs that I disliked. He also takes some great pictures throughout so you have a large amount sooner than you will from your photographer. He’s the gold standard we judge all DJs by now. Definitely choose him for your big day!

Mike made everything fun!
Mike helped mix together the medley of songs my son (the groom) and I (the MOG) danced to. He had a perfect way of getting everyone on the dance floor and having a great time. There was not a single moment when there was no one on the dance floor! Great blend of all types of music for all ages!

Best Indianapolis DJ
Mike was so wonderful to work with! When speaking with him on the phone, we could hear in his voice just how passionate he is about his work. Mike was great with communication and very flexible with our schedules as we planned our wedding from out of state. He helped us create our wedding timeline, provided valid suggestions, and helped us choose the perfect song for each part of the reception. So many of our guests commented on how great the music was throughout the evening and weeks after. He has a special way of reading his audiences and always plays the right song at the right time. Not only is Mike the best DJ, he also takes photos throughout the evening! It was great to have a sneak peak of the reception before we received our photographer's pictures! We have been lucky enough to have Mike as a DJ at other weddings we have attended and he has been just as fabulous!

There are so so many wonderful things to say! As a bride who is very into music, this was one of the most important choices for me!
Mike met us at a Starbucks, which immediately was easy going. I have a toddler and not only was he awesome and in depth with the entire planning, he was able to display so much patience with our son who was eating his business cards! To me, that's a huge huge deal!
From then on, everything, the contact, the helping when I forgot my password, finalizing, EVERYTHING, was above and beyond!
Then we get to the day of, honestly, that day would not have been the same had we had anyone else DJ. Not only is he super laid back, and fun which put your guests at ease, his wife and himself took pictures, mingled with guests, were open to me changing a few things LAST SECOND, but they are day savers! At the beginning of the ceremony, when all my bridesmaids had already gone up, my veil got stuck and these 2 stepped right in! They made this day even more special than we could have hoped!! You will not regret booking them! On top of all these wonderful things, they are very very well priced!!

Mike went above and beyond for our wedding. Our original DJ had to back out due to health concerns, so Mike graciously cleared his schedule to accommodate our wedding. He is very detail-oriented and he made the whole experience stress-free. From the first time we talked on the phone, I knew he would take our wedding to the next level. He always replies in a timely manner, has the best personality, and gets it right every time. Lastly, he took SEVENTY pictures and posted them for us to see! A key part of what made our day so wonderful
I cannot recommend Mike highly enough for your wedding. He was an excellent, excellent emcee that worked with me flawlessly to keep our reception moving along. We had MULTIPLE people compliment us on the professionalism and quality of his work. Mike had a great website that made it easy to pick our songs. You can go deep with your selections, but what I really liked was that he also had a "top 100" list that made it easy to pick what's popular/people will like. I also LOVED the ability to ban certain songs (I don't like line dancing songs, so all those were banned from my event!). He also set up a week-of call that really put my mind at ease. We made a few calls on the fly during the reception and he was right there to help guide us as our brains were a bit fried by then!
Mike also did a few other services that were great: he took an "end of the night" photo which was awesome! (We didn't pay for our photographers to stay the whole evening, so it was nice to have one last photo at the end of the night). He also had an extremely professional-looking DJ setup, and the quality of the sound was great. I've been to weddings where the microphone cut out, and we didn't have that problem at all.
It's hard to know what to spend money on and what to do yourself, but I really think this is an area where an investment in Mike's services will be well worth it. Even for a laid-back, casual wedding like we had, having someone keep us on track was part of what made our day such a success.

Amazing DJ!
We loved working with Mike! Everyone was dancing the minute he turned on the music and I received so many compliments on how amazing our DJ was. He was always quick to answer any questions we had and worked closely with us even though we were living in Chicago but planning a wedding in Indianapolis. To put it simply: our wedding ended in a loud group chant of "DJ Mike". Yes, he is that good. He knows exactly what he is doing and he is a true professional. He made the planning portion of the wedding easy- he had timelines and ideas and was very familiar with our reception venue. He truly put our minds at ease. During our reception, he made sure that we knew exactly what was going on. He came up to my husband and I several times throughout the night to check on us, and just to update us on what was going on. DJ Mike, and his assistant, take their jobs very seriously. I cannot say enough about Mike. He went above and beyond all my expectations!! He was amazing. I didn’t give him much direction except to say that I wanted lots of dancing and that it was very important to me...he reassured me and told me that he knew exactly what to do. He did! Mike is awesome. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding and you hire Mike you will absolutely not be disappointed. He is so responsive. Mike met with me prior to the wedding and made follow up phone calls prior to the wedding to go over music selections and our wedding timeline. He is so organized and easy to work with. On top of being an awesome DJ and keeping everyone dancing all night he also took AWESOME pictures that he posted online for us the day after our wedding (100's of pictures of our guests, venue, ceremony etc) I mean I felt like I had a second photographer at my wedding. He worked so well not only with us but with our other vendors at the wedding allowing our solo guitarist to plug into his system and coordinating music with our ceremony. Mike was awesome to work with!! He had his work cut out for him with our crowd - they were not making their way to the dance floor, everyone seemed to want to talk over cocktails! Eventually, the dance floor was busy and stayed that way the rest of the night. Mike is great at what he does, and if I had to do it over again, I'd let him do his thing without doing must plays and don't plays (even though we didn't have many don't plays, people like that darned chacha slide!)
The last song brought down the house, and a few pairs of pants, its a Johnny thing! Our last photo ended up amazing and you can tell by the size of the crowd still left that people had a great time and we owe that to Mike! Thanks so much Mike!!!!

Mike is AMAZING!!!! We had so many compliments after our wedding on how awesome the DJ was! We have attended many weddings and we knew how important the DJ was and could not have been happier with our referral to Mike! First off, we had a family member have an unexpected illness which resulted in us postponing the wedding. He was totally supportive and always asked about the family member. Leading up to the wedding he answered all my questions and was willing to talk over the phone whenever needed. My brother in law sang our first song and Mike worked closely with him to ensure that the sound was perfect and it was awesome! He even worked with my MOH's to put together a surprise rap. My sister in law said he was extremely helpful and kept this is a complete secret from my husband and myself. During our first dances we had different small moments (slideshow, specific guests joining during songs etc) we wanted highlighted and Mike did not miss a beat. He helped to turn our dream reception into the perfect reception. We were told it was the party of the year and a lot of that was due to Mike!! Highly recommend him!
Oh and the pictures he takes during the reception is priceless!!! They are so awesome and we have pictures of everyone dancing and at the end of the night! Thank you Mike for everything!

He answered all of my questions with ease, and reassured me along the way. I am a frequent emailer and question asker, and Mike never lost patience and always responded quickly.
Pre-wedding, Mike and I chatted over the phone, and he again reassured me that the day would go smoothly. I surprised everyone with a song written for my Dad, and Mike kept the secret and played the song I gave him easily.
Day of, Mike showed up on time, had everything set up, and had a huge smile on his face. He DJ'd the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and brought up lighting as well. He also worked with my dad to surprise me during my dad's speech! I had COUNTLESS compliments on songs and Mike's style of playing them. He orchestrated our entrance perfectly, pronounced all names correctly, and, finally, took some ridiculously amazing photos. AND this was all over Father's Day / Mike's birthday weekend.
Mike is truly the example of the wedding vendor every bride wants. I feel like he's my friend. My husband has all the same things to say about him as well. My wedding was in Bloomington, IN and Mike had no qualms about traveling either. Honestly, nothing bad to say.

If you're looking for a DJ, stop here. Mike is the best. THE BEST DJ. My family had a specific dj we wanted for my wedding because we had been to a few of their previous weddings. When I contacted that dj, he informed me he wasn't scheduling any more weddings due to his health but he put his word behind Mike. I was a little nervous honestly but I really trusted the first guy,
so we met with Mike just to see what he was about. After meetimg him, we didn't even need five minutes to discuss whether or not we wanted Mike, and we booked him that first day. He was always responsive leading up to the wedding. Mike met with my husband, my maid of honor, and me a few days before the wedding. He was very open and accommodating with our requests. I left that meeting feeling very peaceful because I knew my wedding was in good hands with Mike. On the actual day of the wedding, he did everything perfectly. I know I'm biased because it was my wedding but it was the best party I've ever been to. Our main goal of the reception was for everyone to have a good time. I think they did, and then some. Everyone, LITERALLY EVERYONE, has talked to me about how great of a time they had and how awesome the dj was. The photographer even said she got Mike's card to recommend him to her other clients because he was that good. The dj can honestly make or break the reception mood. I feel like djs don't often get recognized. Like if they're bad you complain, but otherwise it's a good time. But my wedding was so much more than just a good time. It was just so so perfect. I could keep going but I'll stop here. Basically I want you to know that every 5/5 review of Mike is totally legit, mine included. And thank you to the Campbells-our wedding was a long time coming so I had built it up a lot in my head. I was so afraid it was going to be less spectacular because I had been fantasizing about it for so long. but you guys gave me a wedding beyond anything I had dreamt of during these last 2 years.

We were both so happy with the service Mike provided! He was very responsive with all my questions and thought of everything. We had a photo slideshow at our reception and I did not even think about needing a speaker for the sound until Mike brought it up and hooked up a speaker for us! He also had no problem accommodating our last minute requests and was ready to go with both an indoor and outdoor sound system in case we changed our mind for where we wanted the ceremony. As everyone else has said in the reviews the pictures taken at the wedding was such a great bonus!!! It was so fun to see all the pictures the day after our wedding and they were really good pictures!!!! He took a big group picture at the end of the night and it's one of my favorite pictures from the night. AND most importantly the music played was great and he kept everyone dancing! His prices are also fair and he's upfront with all costs...no hidden costs or extra fees. I can't recommend Mike with Sound Advice highly enough!

Mike is AMAZING. Plain and simple...there is no other word to explain how perfect he is. When my fiancé and I began looking for a DJ I had seen Mike's information come through on Facebook. I went to his website and checked out his work and even asked a few other couples about their experience with him. Every couple I spoke to had nothing but amazing things to say about going with Sound Advice. I emailed Mike back and forth several times before booking and he always responded quickly (within hours) and with the answers we wanted to hear. He is very accommodating and really cares about what he does. About a month out before our wedding, we set up a Starbucks date to meet and run through everything one last time. Mike was so professional, SO kind, very helpful and it was truly reassuring to speak with someone that you could tell was completely passionate about what they do. He made it known that our wedding day was equally important to him as it was to us. That to us was what sold us. People tend to spend less on DJ's for their weddings and don't always consider how big of a part they play in your reception. They essentially set the tone and create the atmosphere for your reception...and Mike did a WONDERFUL job...doing that. So many people mentioned how fun Mike was and that there was a good balance of different types of music throughout the night - I truly believe we wouldn't have had that with anyone else.
Lastly...Mike takes picture throughout the night of your reception and then posts them next day. We LOVED sitting at the airport and seeing photos from the night before. It was a nice touch to everything he had already done for us. Please don't go anywhere else, you will not be upset choosing Sound Advice!!

Oh, man. Mike. The guy is absolutely incredible! From the moment that I spoke on the phone with him, I knew I would have nothing to worry about. Mike is truly passionate about making sure you enjoy your special day - he went ABOVE AND BEYOND and way way WAY outside of his scope of work to ensure that our day was perfect. When the caterers arrived late, he jumped in and helped. When people had started lining up for the sparkler send off (and I still wanted one more song to be played) he rallied every one inside for one last hurrah - he is part DJ, part wedding coordinator, and part fairy Godfather. He made our sure our day went off without a hitch and when the unforeseeable happened, he jumped in and saved the day. And as a surprise gift, Mike took candid photos throughout the night - and he captured some of the most perfect moments! I am truly thankful to Mike for all of his hard work, and I cannot say enough good things about him!
