  Steve was recommended to us by our photographer, BluDoor Studios. Sonrise was within our budget and available when we needed. He was responsive to all emails and questions. The day of he was awesome! I barely even noticed him at the reception. He did a great job capturing all the moments my husband and I didn't get to see.

  Mr. Steve Allen is such a professional! He was recommended to me through my church's website/name listings. My now-husband and I looked and looked for a good videographer in the area. We came across many talented, kind people. In fact, we reviewed 2-3 highlight videos on each website for hours upon hours to find the best person. I have to be completely honest and say that we were also under a complete and total financial crunch at the point of finding our videographer. So, we were refused again and again and again by person after person. We were growing confused and frustrated. Then, we came across Mr. Allen's website. I was impressed with the focus and quality of his highlight videos. I also saw his prices were within my price range! I sent him an email... hoping against hope he would be available. Oh, I also was literally getting married in less than 4 months. So, I was your "we must find SOMEONE and SOON" bride. I was also all about getting the best value, which Mr. Allen understood. We worked out a price for a "first look," and then coverage from 1-9 p.m. He was there early, and Mr. Allen was a seamless part of my day. I kept hearing again and again from guests that they loved how professional and "low key" Mr. Allen was. He caught footage that we didn't even know happened that day! My parents loved meeting Mr. Allen, because he was extremely kind and such a professional as well. Also, my Dad appreciated that he had a contract with us and that payment was easy. He followed-through as well on posting our highlight video in under 10 days after our wedding. When we saw the wedding video, we were in tears. I still watch it at least once a week because of the exceptional editing and flow. He also really focused on the fact our wedding was 100% to honor the Lord. I will be the first to say that he should have been the $5,000 for the wedding video! However, he was in my $2,000 budget. The video was such an important part of my wedding day!

  I hired Steve because I saw a friend of mine's wedding video years before I was even engaged. I was IMMEDIATELY floored and knew I would be hiring him for my wedding. A few years later, I was engaged and needed a videographer for our wedding. He captured every moment that I wanted on film and I couldn't be happier. The quality is amazing and it truly does show and tell the love story of my husband and I. It did take a few month to receive the final DVD, but it was well worth the wait for the quality we received! I love getting out the video on our anniversary every year to watch and remember that amazing night. 5 years later he shot my sister's wedding. Amazing all over again! You will not regret hiring him. Even after shooting our wedding, we are still in contact and I talk him up to all of my bride friends because he truly is an amazing and talented videographer!

  During the planning time, I requested to have the videographer at my home to record my preparations and dressing for the wedding, his response was NO, because it was too early from the time that we were going to get married. I was unhappy with that answer, I had to be ready early because we were taking pre-ceremony pictures at 11 and the wedding was at 3. I didn't think that was too much to ask. Regardless, the day of the wedding he did a great job, they caught memorable moments that I would have never seen had they not been there recording all the good stuff. Another sad note was that we did not receive our wedding video until 363 days after our wedding... NOT good. At least he gave us three dvd copies instead of just two, for the inconvenience. Once we finally got to watch the dvd, we both cried, our families cried. Everyone was happy because the dvd was perfect. Overall experience was ok. The dvd came out well. Compared to all the other videographers that we interviewed and checked out- he had the most competitive pricing and the best work.
