  Makeup with Striking Quality and Staying Power!

  I was recently a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding in Northwest Indiana. Sonia did my makeup as well as the bride's, and she was absolutely lovely. The bride looked absolutely radiant and the makeup truly complimented her features, and my makeup featured a dramatic eye with a more subtle lip that I loved. It was pouring rain for half of our event; however, our makeup lasted not only that day, but several days afterward - highly recommended especially for an outdoor wedding! Thanks Sonia!

  I have never written a yelp review in my life, but after my incredible experience with my makeup artist Sonia, I could not hold back, but share my experience with the rest of the world. I just recently got married in Northern Wisconsin and was in dire need of a great makeup artist for my wedding. After many disappointing makeup trials in Illinois & Wisconsin, I decided to do research and find someone in my hometown of Chicago who was not only great at what they did, but someone who would travel 6 hours to Wisconsin to do my makeup and entire wedding party. When I contacted Sonia, I immediately knew by her professionalism and genuine personality that I wanted to hire her. She conveniently worked with my schedule and met with me to do a makeup trial. I quickly learned that Sonia was not just a makeup artist, but a true artistic woman who was confident in knowing how to make you not only look absolutely radiant but also FEEL the best on your wedding day. I truly appreciate Sonia’s talent, thanks for such a beautiful time!
  
  P.s. And she does the best eyebrow shaping, eyebrows can change your entire appearance. I took a makeup application class from Sonia and she taught me the best makeup tips for everyday use.

  Sonia did my makeup for my wedding as well as my mom's makeup. The result was amazing, the makeup stayed on all day and she made me look great while not looking too done up. She also did my mom's makeup and made sure it was age appropriate and my mom was thrilled with how it turned out! We did a trial first and she was very professional and you could tell she had a lot of experience with what she was doing. When the day of the wedding came, I knew she would do a great job and trusted her to do whatever she thought would look best. She did a FABULOUS job and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Chicago or Northwest Indiana area who is looking for a great makeup artist!

  "After speaking with several make-up artists over the phone regarding my upcoming wedding, I was immediately put at ease with Sonia. She was relaxed and took the time to answer all of my questions. I remember saying to my fiance that I hoped the trial went well, because I already wanted to work with her from our phone call alone. Sonia came to my place to do the trial. I told her one big concern was that I didn't want the makeup to feel too heavy, that I still wanted to see ME through the makeup. That was not a problem. I loved what she did, but wanted her to try something different with the eyeshadow and she made the change right away. On the wedding day, she did the makeup for me (the bride), my mom and a bridesmaid. Sonia came to the hotel where we were getting ready and was on time. My mom looked stunning...she does a great job with the mother-of-the-bride makeup. For my makeup, Sonia was able to recreate (quickly, too, since I was running late) the exact look we had settled on for the trial. She put a stain on my lips that lasted all night - she even had me brush my teeth AFTER she applied it so I could test it out and make sure it didn't come off. Sonia did tell me that I would want to touch up/powder a couple of times throughout the night, but to be honest I was so busy at the reception that I never got the chance and I didn't even need to worry about it, it looked great and lasted...when I got back to our room at 2:30 in the morning my makeup was still on. I got lots of compliments on my makeup that night, it looked great in the pictures I've seen after, and most important, I still felt like myself...just better : )"
