Helpful, beautiful, quality

So easy to review Smyth Annapolis. My husband was using a diamond from a family ring for our engagement ring and they were so helpful with placing the ring on the right band to make it just what I wanted and within our price range.

I then came back probably 17 times (may or may not be kidding) to figure out what I wanted the wedding bands to look like. Each time I worked with someone else and was given such incredible options. When my indecisiveness got the best of me, they remained patient and willing to work with me to help me get the absolute best match for such a special engagement ring. They discussed different stone options, figured out that all the stones I wanted were mixtures of the stones for my birth month, my husbands, and our wedding month. They even taught me how to pose with my ring to make sure I liked how it looked on since I was so focused on getting rings that I would still be just as happy with in 50 years.

I ended up with 2 wedding bands and was so happy with all the help we got along the way. Thank you, Smyth Annapolis for your patience, options, and quality. Even my mom was impressed when she came in with me to help in the process.

I love that they gave us heads-ups for upcoming trunk shows to get better prices on rings we were interested in and reminded us about when to come pre-wedding to get our rings shined! Its truly the little details during this process when the vendors acknowledge that you've probably never done this before and need some help :)

They are also super dog friendly and we love that!!

We will definitely be back for any jewelry needs in the future and appreciate their help so much!

Beautiful rings!

Smyth was so great! Nina helped us pick out our wedding bands! I told her what I was looking for and she found the perfect ring! My husband knew kind of what he wanted but was on the fence about one ring. We knew we wanted to purchase both of our bands from Smyth because we loved their service. We went back a few weeks later to look again and they had exactly what he wanted! We are so happy with our wedding bands and loved how friendly and helpful everyone is at Smyth!

Lovely. Stunning jewelry, and Wanda was awesome.

Our ring shopping experience was easy. Smyth had such a quality selection of diamonds and bands, and Wanda knew just how to help us. My diamond is flawless, and my husbands bad is unique, beautiful and rugged all at the same time. We will go back here for all jewelry over the years. Highly recommend!

Beautiful rings and great service!

My husband and I had great service every time we went into Smyth to look at engagement and wedding rings! I had no idea what kind of engagement ring I was looking for when I first walked into Smyth, but the woman who helped us was so patient and gave me great suggestions! We love our rings from Smyth!

Quick and Easy

We were greeted immediately upon entry, quickly described the ring we were looking for, were shown to the appropriate jewelry case, tried on a few options, had prices calculated and purchased a ring in less than 30 minutes! The ring arrived quickly, and we were able to pick it up with no problems. Great service!

Amazing - thank you for everything’

Everyone we have worked with at Smyth has been nothing short of amazing. We came in to just get an idea of what’s available for engagement rings and left having designed the ring of my dreams. Tracy and the sales team listened to what I valued and brought out a stunning estate sale diamond that dates back to pre-1880. When we came in for our wedding bands, I made a decision too hastily, and when it arrived knew I needed something different. Tracy was understanding and patient as I tried on rings during not one, but two more visits. My fiancé bought a locket for his Mom as a wedding day gift and when I picked it up, the man helping me was quick to offer gift wrapping and did a wonderful job! I’ve always felt so welcomed and appreciated as a customer in Smyth and have never felt like they’re trying to push something on me just to make the sale. We could not be happier with our experience and recommend Smyth to everyone!

A Great Experience!

We got the exact rings we wanted for the price we wanted in almost no time at all! Their staff was exceptional and were very attentive to what we wanted, including our budget! I absolutely love our rings! I was not fond of the wedding band that was part of the set with my engagement ring. Anthony dedicated several hours to finding me the PERFECT wedding band; even looking through different jeweler collections. I love that now I get free cleanings and ring spas.
My husband got custom, hand engraving in his wedding band and it was very reasonably priced and prompt. It only cost $55.
And let's be real, the free cookies and booze are always a nice perk!

Always love our purchase

My engagement ring and wedding band is from Smyth. I love that they work with your budget, are happy to help, and never pushy. Trust me we have been to all the jewelry stores in the area, definitely one of the best with a huge selection, with a big price range small to large.

Good customer service with Lily

After hearing some not so great things, we window shopped for a ring here anyways because it’s nearby, and my now fiancé really liked the employee Lily. She was way different than how all the other employees are described on reviews. She was kind and helpful, not judging us or pushing a sale. Definitely recommend smyths for Lily specifically!

Smyth is awesome! I never really gave my fiancé an idea of the kind of ring I wanted and always told him to take back up with him if he went to pick out engagement rings. Well, he went rogue(he didn't want anyone to know he was proposing so they would be just as shocked as me)! Lily from Smyth helped him pick out the perfect ring for me....it's beautiful and fits my personality perfectly. Lily asked my fiancé every detail about me, made him pull up pictures, the whole nine yards to get a good idea of what I might like and together they nailed it. The ring size was slightly bigger than I needed and Smyth took it that day with no appointment.

Great store with professional, knowledgeable staff, and top notch customer service. They helped us to find our style and worked with us and our budget to pin down the perfect engagement ring. When it came to wedding bands I struggled. Ordered one and then changed my mind after it was custom made and delivered. I can't say enough about this vendor. They are amazing. My wedding band had a couple issues, at first the band was not a smooth finish and they re-ordered it. The following time the diamonds came back and were bigger than I expected, they took both the engagement ring and wedding and sent it back to the vendor to match it perfectly. They made sure I had it before the wedding.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience at Smyth Jewelers purchasing my engagement ring. We got a great deal on an estate diamond, and our consultant, Kim, was amazing at helping me figure out exactly what I wanted and making the most of our budget. We ended up with the perfect ring at the perfect price - but it gets better. When the ring came in, we got a call that Smyth wasn't happy with the construction of the mounting, so they were having it remade. In the meantime, they allowed me to wear the first version so that I could finally show off the ring to my family for the holidays. The new version of the setting came in today, and they managed to have it resized (the first setting turned out a little too loose for my liking) and and reset in the same day. We were so thrilled with the service that we went ahead and got our wedding bands from Smyth as well, and I have no doubt that they'll be just as perfect as the engagement ring turned out.

my fiance and i got my engagement ring from Smythe's. they treated us great from the second we walked in. they made sure we had champagne while we walked around and discussed what we wanted. once we found one that i fell in love with they made sure to work with us to set up a payment plan and get the ring in our budget. we had a great experience and i would definitely recommend them. we will be returning to get our wedding bands there.

My fiance and I had a great experience purchasing my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands at Smyth, The customer service is great. Every time we walk in we are greeted and helped immediately. The process of picking out and purchasing jewelery was quick and painless, but not rushed by any means. We are so happy with our purchases and the quality of the jewelry is top knotch. We worked with Josh for my engagement ring and it was the PERFECT experience. While my role was minimal... I was only around for giving my FH some details about what I would love in my ideal ring... Josh listened and made him feel very comfortable throughout the whole buying process. The ring is to die for!! I LOVE it!! I did need to have it re-sized and he made that happen in 24hrs. He also was able to prepare the insurance paperwork for us quickly as well. It was just perfect.

We got our wedding bands here. Friendly and professional staff. My husband loves his band! Great quality. I wanted something different for my wedding band. They helped me out a lot and created the perfect band. It looks so much better than I ever thought-getting lots of compliments! Highly recommend!

Rob Sobczak was so much fun to work with. Him and my fiance had a lot of fun designing the engagement ring and I am sure Rob had a lot of influence on it because it is BEAUTIFUL. Since it was custom made I had no idea what to get for the wedding band but of course Rob was there to provide assistance. I ended up going with an estate ring that Smyth had on hand that Rob suggested and it is perfect!

Smyth was great! I loved the fact that they are Maryland born and based! Everyone we worked with was so helpful and whenever I go in they always clean my ring and make it sparkle! They were very accommodating to my fiance as well! They have a great selection!!!

After considering a few other options, my fiancé decided to purchase my engagement ring from Smyth's because of their strong reputation in the Baltimore area. After receiving my ring, I went in to have it resized and everyone there was incredibly helpful. They were even willing to decrease the turnaround time since I wasn't from the area which was much appreciated! I will definitely consider returning for our wedding bands and other future jewelry purchases.

Smyth is always wonderful every time we have ever made a purchase, so I am not surprised that they were great to my fiancé when he went in to pick my engagement ring! He explained that they took the time and went through the whole process of letting him pick the band and the diamond so he got just what he wanted, and I could not be happier, or more surprised that he proposed on Christmas morning!

After getting my ring I thought I had done something to my ring and took it into Smyth to be looked at and they inspected it and cleaned it and let me know everything was fine, all while waiting in the store within 20 minutes. Great customer service and simply great people working for them. They never pressure you and are always welcoming!

You can't go wrong with smyth. The people that work there are great and the jewelry is beautiful. My prongs came loose on my engagement ring and they fixed it timely with no charge. They also will clean your jewelry and check the prongs whenever you want!

Greg McMahon at Smyth Jewelers earned this 5 star review! Greg actually listened to our needs and budget. He presented various ways to meet those needs and helped us think through options we had not even considered. He never made us feel rushed or that we weren't important due to our limited budget. It was clear that he loves what he does and he really enjoyed showing us the various ring options. We also enjoyed that we got to enjoy a bit of alcohol, cookies and popcorn during our visit! In the end, it felt like a team effort and we walked away with a beautiful engagement ring and wedding bands. Before the wedding, I stopped by to have the ring cleaned and Greg made sure that everything was perfect. I adore my ring! It is so unique! It was so unique that I was scared that I wasn't going to be able to find a band that worked well with it. Thanks to the very kind woman that helped us out we were able to find the band right for me! We still use her today for any jewelry purchases we want to make. Smyth is a great store with a wide selection. While I was not there when my engagement ring was chosen, when I went back for my wedding band they were very helpful. My band was custom designed to match my engagement ring and they both look great. Also, I was able to get my maids of honor their gifts as well as my flower girl and ring bearer.

My boyfriend and I came into Smyth's on a whim since we were at the Sonic across the street and saw it was still open. I was always curious to see what they carried, but I didn't really expect much. They greeted us with water bottles, and Kathy took us on as clients. She helped us look at their numerous engagement rings, including Tacori, A. Jaffe, and many more. When we didn't find one that we liked, we asked her about possibly custom designing our ring. As it turns out, Kathy is an artist, so she totally understands and even draws out exactly what we're trying to describe. We're still working with Kathy and Smyth's Jewelers to finalize what we know will be the perfect engagement ring and wedding bands, and we can't wait for the finished product. Before we went to Smyth's, we were only thinking about finding a piece of jewelry; after going to Smyth's, we felt so confident that things were going in the right direction that we told our families we are getting married and started planning the wedding! We could not have had a better, warmer experience anywhere else!!

My (now) husband, (at the time, boyfriend), deployed to Afghanistan for a 9-month deployment. After my encouragement, prayers, care packages, and support, he decided to propose if/when he came home. He notified Smyth Jewelers and they began the process of designing my engagement ring and then construcitng it. Working with Kathy was an aboslute pleasure for Rob as well as myself (after the proposal). Smyth Jewelers made me feel like a million bucks whenever I went in to resize or engrave my ring or pick out our wedding bands. Kathy kept us in the loop when the price of gold was at a good price to purchase the wedding bands.

Smyth worked closely with my husband and I to find the perfect engagement ring and wedding bands. They are easy to work with and aren't pushy like more salesmen in jewelry. Ray was our engagement ring guru. He is young, laid back, but very knowledgable in what he does. He worked with us to find the perfect matching bands and diamond. I am able to go back as often and I please to get the ring cleaned and make sure all the side diamonds are secure- for FREE! I love this place!

We love Smyth from the moment we walked in the door! They don't work off commission like most other jewelry stores so they don't pressure you into purchasing or looking at anything at all. It a very relaxing experience. They have a very extensive collection of engagement rings and their team is incredibly knowledgable their inventory and terms based on what your tell them you like. The best part? The Smyth life time cleanings, replated and replacement of side diamonds and stones! You can get all of those services for free whenever you want. I think it's worth it because it's generally recommended you get your ring replated twice a year and that cost can really add up! Not to mention if a stone falls out!

My fiancé and I went together to pick out my engagement me. He really wanted us both to be a part of picking out something I was meant to wear forever. We looked online for ages and just never felt comfortable enough to make that kind of purchase without seeing the diamond in person. We ended up at Smyths instead - and we were so happy we did. We walked in one Saturday afternoon- had prompt service and ended up leaving that day with the ring of my dreams. I actually think we ended up with a better quality diamond and setting then we could have bought offline. We've since ordered our wedding bands and have been equally impressed. The customer service is top notch. I've actually had my ring cleaned and re-sized twice to make iot perfectly - totally free of charge. Every time I go in there I am met with excellent prompt customer service. Would absolutely recommend this store to anyone thinking about buying fine jewelry in Baltimore. Of note, we worked with Riz- he was fantastic.

The day has finally come to choose the ring. Before you even think about the five Cs, you need to decide where to go. I am so unbelievably grateful my fiancé went to Smyth Jewelers in Annapolis. Going to Smyth is more than just choosing a ring, it is choosing an experience. The staff there is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The staff at Smyth's is very accommodating. We were on a budget, and they helped us get exactly what we wanted. They are open convenient hours and take time to talk to each customer. It was a stress-free buying experience. You are even offered coffee and cookies! My now husband got my engagement ring here as well as our wedding bands. The service is definitely unbeatable, not to mention their selection. My husband got a loose stone after picking the setting for my engagement ring, their range of size, clarity and color were great and gave him a ton of options.
I took it back to be rhodium plated a couple days prior to our wedding and it sparkled for days afterwards. Really great place for jewelry.

Not to mention they guarantee its worth forever, you will always be able to get what you paid for it.

I took my mother's 3 strand pearl bracelet to Smyth to have made smaller for me to wear on my wedding day about 4 weeks before the wedding. I took it to Smyth because I trust them and they are known for doing high quality work. Sure, I could have probably taken it somewhere for a cheaper price, but I wanted it to come out perfectly. They called me a couple of days before it was supposed to be done and said they needed more time because they had to order a part, so it was cutting it close to my wedding. When I went to pick it up a few days before the wedding, it was still too big. This was stressful, but Smyth handled the situation very professionally. They did it the next day, and finished it much earlier than they anticipated. The bracelet came out perfectly. They even offered to deliver it to me, but I was in the area, so I picked it up. We also got both my my rings and my husband's ring there as well, which are stunning.

I can't say anything but WOW! The ring my fiancee chose for me is the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. I had nothing to do with the process of buying the ring, but my fiancee told me they were extremely helpful in the design process. Not only is the quality of my diamond stunning the Scott Kay band complements the stone beautifully. After the ring was on my finger the Smyth team invited us to their suite at M&T stadium for the Ravens vs. Patriots game. My fiancee was very impressed with their service and hospitality and I am very impressed with my engagement ring. Without question we will be purchasing our wedding bands from Smyth.

After getting our wedding rings at Smyth, I have decided to make Smyth the first destination for all future jewelry purchases. The customer service is great -- there are so many employees that it is impossible to not get help immediately. Not to mention the complimentary cookies and popcorn to keep the husband happy while I shop around. When my then fiance and I went to look for our wedding bands, I had a specific design in mind, and they were able to come up with a custom ring very quickly to match all of my needs. Smyth Jewelers has become our only place to shop for jewelry. My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I competed (and lost) in Smyth’s Diamond Dash back in September 2011. After the race, we got goodie bags which had coupons for Smyth Jewelers. So where did we go after the race? Smyth Jewelers! That same day, with the help of Carolina, and of course my husband, I picked out the perfect engagement band and the perfect diamond (actually we picked the diamond a couple days later because they were able to get a few other choices from other Smyth locations). Also got a free iPad! Fast forward a few months and it was time to pick out wedding bands. We visited our friends at Smyth Jewelers. With the help of Ray, we were able to find bands that we both loved. This was a tough feat for me because my engagement ring is unusual and there’s not a wedding band to match the ring. Ray was excellent to work with and he kept looking for different choices and options for us. He also helped me purchase a watch and had it engraved as a wedding present for my husband. They were wonderful to work with, they made sure that we got the rings that we were looking for and that they were right for us. They made us feel very much at home, and they took us to a private desk so we wouldn't have to do our business out in the open, which we thought was very nice.

Although my fiancé did not get my engagement ring at Smyth, we both got our wedding bands there. We came in with limited time (that was one thing that we missed on our to-do list), and everyone who helped us made sure everything we looked at was available for us to get. They called us when everything was ready-and came through on everything!
Their selection is amazing, and their employees are extremely well informed and helpful. I highly recommend using Smyth anytime!

Smyth is great. The employees are always welcoming and friendly every time my husband are in the store. They even did an emergency ring re-sizing the day before our wedding and we had the ring back in time. I would highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by this "chain" jeweler. We went to some local jewelers and they did not offer the selection, uniqueness or value that Smyth did. The staff greets us warmly, they include extra services like "re-rhodiuming" my ring for free anytime (other jewelers charge $40), and re-sized my husband's ring for free.

My husband bought my engagement ring here so we went back to purchase our wedding bands.

Their prices were extremely reasonable and the quality of service was fantastic. It was great from the moment we walked in to the door, until we left the store with our purchase. They are very knowledgeable about jewelery and do a fantastic job explaining them. I never felt pushed to buy something that was out of my budget or preference.

We worked with Chris and he was wonderful in helping us pick out our wedding ring. He and my husband designed my ring from stone to setting and did a wonderful job. When we went in to order the wedding bands Chirs helped us decide what type of bands we wanted and showed us all of the selctions that they had. We even had the rings engraved and they turned out great. The one great thing at Smyth is that they have fresh baked cookies and free popcorn for you to snack on while you are shopping - I shop and they feed me - what could be better - go and see Chris - he is great
