We decided a little late in the game to have a cake at our wedding and A Slice of Heaven was more than accommodating. Not only was our cake delicious but it was beautiful as well. It was exactly what we envisioned for our day and people could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. Their prices were reasonable and customer service was excellent! Thank you to A Slice of Heaven team for the delicious cake!

Our wedding cake was absolutely incredible and exactly the way we had discussed at our cake tasting. The flowers and shell sugar work were perfect and we were pleased that our custom surfboard cake toppers came out beautifully. The cake itself tasted wonderful and was very fresh. The only short coming we found was at the cake tasting itself. We weren't sure if there was a mix up in scheduling since I had scheduled via email, but they didn't seem ready for us when we showed up. They didn't seem to have anything prepared for a tasting, so we spent a little while waiting for them to get set up. Also, for the tasting, they had two main flavors of cake out with a lot of fillings, but didn't have any of their more exotic cake flavors available for the tasting. We ended up going with one of the exotic flavors and were happy that it turned out as good as it did since we didn't get to taste it beforehand. After the first half hour of waiting for the tasting to start, every other dealing with this company was very professional and they brought the cake on time and exceeded our expectations for appearance of the cake. We would buy from them again.

I challenge you to find a cupcake at a Slice of Heaven that isn't absolutely incredible.

A slice of heaven was delicious! We ordered a very basic 2 layer cake for our wedding and had no problems at all. We had planned on a simple floral arrangement on top but I forgot to set it up, ASoH was kind enough to call the morning of to double check with me on the florals and was totally okay with my mistake. They were nice every step of the way.

We had met this vendor at a Bridal show along with a few others. Just when we thought we had chosen our cake vendor, we heard some rather disturbing information about them which led us to A Slice of Heaven! We made an appointment to do a cake tasting, they were very flexible with their schedule as they worked around my work times! When we arrived, there was a plate ready for us with several different types of cakes and fillers...wow! We tried them all and left them a deposit to hold our date!! I provided them with a photo of the cake we wanted, gave them our florist name (we had flowers on the cake), dropped off our topper and anxiously waited until our wedding. Amazing...the cake was amazing, beautiful...just what we wanted!! Our guests were very excited at the flavors and complimented on how beautiful the cake was. We will use this vendor in future as well as recommend them to others!

We went to A Slice of Heaven pretty much based on word of mouth. I was told about certain bakers I could go to in the area to either get the fanciest cake or the absolute tastiest wedding cake, which was A Slice of Heaven. Since taste was our priority I was happy to choose A Slice of Heaven, but even more impressed that they were able to execute our design ideas to a tee! We showed up with a picture of a cake from a bridal magazine with damask fondant cut outs on the layers as well as one of our invitations, asking that they create a similar design and they did a FABULOUS job. I don't think our cake was like anything they had in their portfolio pictures so I was so happy to see that they could step out and make the design we desired. So not only was the cake beautiful but it was SO SO SO good. We had french vanilla cake with key lime filling and I am seriously looking forward to our one year anniversary so I can thaw out our cake topper and enjoy the delicious cake again!!!

The best wedding cake I've ever had and I'm not just saying that because it was my own wedding. The cake turned out beautiful!

We used A Slice of Heaven for our after ceremony cake. Michelle was great. I emailed her with a picture of the style of cake I wanted along with a picture of an actual shell for the colors. She was able to make the cake the way we requested. The flavors were amazing and the cake looked beautiful! At the restaurant we had our dinner at they were able to put it in the cooler and brought it out for us when we were ready to cut the cake. I would definitely order another cake through them again. Thank you so much for a delicious cake.

I had no idea where to get a cake because I was from out of town. I went into their shop months before the ceremony and tasted cake and let them know what I was wanting. The cake at the wedding was even BETTER than I remembered. All of my guests went on and on about how it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten, and I would agree. They are still talking about it :) And for the amount of cake we got, the price was great. Not to mention it was decorated perfectly. I would not only recommend Slice of Heaven, but I plan on going in their and buying by the slice next time I am in town :)

We used cupcakes for our wedding and I don't think in my entire life I have ever had any cake that was so full of flavor, moist and looked so amazing! We ordered 2 cupcakes for every person who attended out wedding and had next to none left over! The prices are amazing and the service was friendly!

They did a great job creating the cake I asked for. I sent them a photo of what I wanted and was delivered that image in cake form. Very happy with their work!

We were very late when ordering our cake and Slice of Heaven was very accommodating. They provided lots of samples and options. We did a simple white cake with a tree drawn in icing on the side. It turned out beautiful and delicious!

Planning a destination wedding can be very difficult especially when you want it to be as close to perfect and magical as possible. From Pittsburgh, we planned my daughter's wedding in Siesta Key, FL, the No. 1 beach in America! After choosing a wedding planner and caterer, we scheduled a taste-testing event for choosing the menu. At that time we did not get to visit bakeries in the area. Since the wedding cake is one of the highlights of the wedding, I began searching and researching numerous bakeries in the area, from their websites to their reviews to recommendations from our caterer. There are many wonderful bakeries around the Siesta Key/Sarasota area, but my final choice was A Slice of Heaven. I am so thankful I chose them. When I called to order the cake, we had thought we put together the right combination of cake/filling/icing/design. Boy were we mistaken! We followed the suggestions and recommendations given to us, and now the stress began hoping the cake would be good. Well, it was absolutely fantastic! I received so many complements how beautiful the cake was, and when it was served, all you could hear were oohs and awes! Thank you to the staff of A Slice of Heaven. You helped make my daughter's wedding day a magical success!
