Highly recommended! Dan was great to work with throughout the entire planning process. We found out about Dan and his DJ services through our venue and we're so happy that we had a chance to work with him. We met with him a couple of times and exchanged several emails to pin down exactly what we wanted for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception etc. He really understood our music taste and nailed it in the end. We were so happy he was a part of our special day.Highly recommended! Dan was great to work with throughout the entire planning process. Dan was a fantastic DJ! He kept the crowd up and dancing throughout the night, and everyone (young and old; hard-core partiers and not-so-hard-core ones) had a great time. One of us is Bosnian, so we wanted to incorporate some traditional and popular Bosnian music that was hard to find, but he made huge efforts to find the songs and integrate them smoothly into the playlist. He also had some great suggestions about how to cut our first dance song (which was a mash-up of two songs, one slow & one fast), and how to move quickly from that song into a group dance for everyone. Overall, we would give him our top recommendation!Dan was a fantastic DJ! The process of working with Dan was pleasant, positive, and stress-free. Dan gave us exactly what we wanted. Dan was wonderful to work with as our audio visual technician for a large non profit fundraising event held at 26 Bridge St, a large industrial warehouse venue. We have numerous speakers and presentations and everyone was heard clearly and loudly and the visual component complemented his audio well. Dan is a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend him for any type of event and look forward to working with him again.Dan was wonderful to work with as our audio visual technician for a large non profit fundraising event held at 26 Bridge St, a large industrial warehouse venue. Dan DJed our wedding in October of 2015 and did an AMAZING job. From the day we met him to after the wedding was over, Dan was professional, communicative, thoughtful, attentive and just very very very good at what he does. We wanted our DJ to play a lot of 60s girl group, funk, soul, new wave, post-punk and other not-so-weddingy "deep cuts" music (in addition to a few contemporary crowd pleasers) and Dan delivered. We also wanted to be specific about roughly 40% of the songs he'd play, and let him surprise us with the rest. He did exactly that. He played everything we wanted to hear and more. Dan knows a ridiculous amount about music and his whole goal is to make a great party. If you just want to hear Michael Jackson, or top 40 or if you only want world music from the 70s, Dan would and could do that for you. Our guests (young, old, and in between) tore up the dance floor the whole night with no lulls. Dan Nishimoto provided us with MC/DJ services for both our ceremony and reception on September 5th and 6 th ,2015. The ceremony took place on top of a mountain on the 5th, and the reception took place at the base of the mountain on the 6th. Dan was able to setup and perform at both venues with confidence and ease. He worked with and communicated well with both my Wedding Coordinator and I on the finest of details, and if anything changed or seemed to be overlooked, Dan had no issues coming up with a solution. Dan is simply the man! Service: On time, on point with all things technical, and he was somehow inside our brain with what we wanted to hear and NEEDED to hear! Responsiveness: Never late to respond to an email or phone call. Always on time! Professionalism: highest marks possible. Adjusting song selection to speeches, mood, etc... Value: Worth every single $. Flexibility: We had a challenging venue with even more challenging weather on the day. Dan rolled with the issues seamlessly. Highest marks.
Overall, Dan added to our wedding. He didn't try to "headline" our wedding like I've seen other DJ's do in the past. We feel very lucky we had him there.Dan is simply the man! My wife and I were extremely particular about the music at our wedding. We wanted to select every single song that was played that night. Dan was happy to let us do this and he helped us out by providing excellent ceremony music suggestions to choose from. He skillfully mixed our dance music selections to create an amazing party where everyone had a great time.
He was also a pleasure to work with, always answering our emails thoughtfully and promptly. I highly recommended Dan to DJ at your wedding.My wife and I were extremely particular about the music at our wedding. We wanted to select every single song that was played that night. Dan was a stellar dj to have for our wedding. He took great care to understand our musical tastes and provided a helpful list of questions to get a good feeling of what we envisioned on the day. He has such an in-depth knowledge of so many genres of music, he was able to provide recommendations as well that we loved. He really knows how to set the mood and provided us with mixes for our rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour and wedding dinner. We got a lot of complements on the music for our wedding and were even asked by guests to provide copies of his mixes. We felt in great hands the whole time from the planning to the actual day working with Dan. Dan (AKA Sintalentos) was a total pro from start to finish. To be honest, my wife and I didn't really know how to go about the music/sound planning part of our wedding and Dan made it really simple, clear and fun!
From identifying music we loved to chatting about how he could assist with on-location sound set up for the ceremony, he was helpful and really on the ball. Dan was always one step ahead of us in terms of planning, and on the day of the wedding everything ran flawlessly. When our dance party got started, Dan had the floor packed and moving from start to finish.

Based on a recommendation from the venue where we held our Firm's Holiday Party we hired Dan to DJ the event and were happy we did. He had a challenge - our group varied widely by age and music likes. By evening's end the dance floor was packed & we had a hard time telling everyone the party had come to an end.
Dan was easy to work with, responsible and responsive to guest's dance desires. His approach to getting people to dance was subtle. He wasn't loud or flashy which is another reason we were happy with Dan.Based on a recommendation from the venue where we held our Firm's Holiday Party we hired Dan to DJ the event and were happy we did. He had a challenge - our group varied widely by age and music likes. By evening's end the dance floor was packed & we had a hard time telling everyone the party had come to an end.

Dan's responses were always prompt, thorough, and extremely helpful. We had an idea of the vibe we were going for and he gave us some great suggestions for the first dance, aisle walk, etc. On the day of - he not only picked out the perfect music, but totally understood the kind of mood we were going for. Our wedding was an extra challenge because it was a half Persian-half Dominican wedding (and we wanted classic oldies!) - but he managed to makr everyone happy. Some of the songs we requested were hard to find and he made it a mission to track them down. His positive attitude, organization and comprehensive music knowledge made him a lifesaver. He went very above and beyond our expectations. My sister-in-law also used him for her much larger wedding - and he was equally wonderful. He was also really proactive with the venue and prompt to every single meeting, making sure he had everything he needed without involving us at all. My fiance and I were determined to find a non-cheesey DJ for our wedding. The thought of someone passing out inflatables and plastic sunglasses made us sweat. We did not want someone constantly talking and telling people to sit down, stand up, etc. White Label DJs and Dan (pronounced Don) fit the bill! They were so, so, so easy to work with. Very quick to respond to all emails and last minute requests. A lengthy, detailed questionnaire allows the couple to really customize their music selection. Anybody living in the areas serviced by Dan and White Label DJs should definitely check them out if you want a polished, hip, non-cheesey DJ for your wedding or other big event! We can't recommend Dan more. We were looking for a certain vibe but we weren't sure how the night would go. Dan patiently reviewed our vague instructions and took the pulse of the room and gave us the night we were hoping for. Once we checked out some of his mixes, we were sure we could trust his taste and we were right. He kept it mellow when it needed to be and got everyone up dancing at the right time. My only regret is I didn't get enough to eat because the music was too good to stop dancing. One of the best values for our money in the whole event.We can't recommend Dan more. First off, I will NEVER forget my mom getting down to Kanye's "Mercy," and how many of us completely missed dessert, because we couldn't get off the dance floor.
Simply put: Dan created the perfect soundtrack to an incredible night. We would give Dan 10 stars if we could! He was a pleasure to work with, and our guests loved him. Our reception was at a Tribeca restaurant that caters to a lot of weddings, and the initial DJ that the restaurant recommended reminded me of the DJs at my high school dances—not the kind of person we wanted to set the tone of our wedding. Dan was professional, and fun. He was attentive, in constant communication with us, and functioned as much more than just our DJ. We depended on him to advise us on the best music for our father-daughter/mother-son dance, and he truly impressed us with his self initiative to speak with the restaurant coordinator to ensure that everything went perfectly behind the scenes. Our guests were partying on the dance floor all night long, and everyone had a blast. During our honeymoon, we considered getting Dan a present because we liked him so much—the only reason we didn’t is because we didn’t want to be weird. Dan was a pleasure to deal with and a real pro. He kept us on track for our wedding, met with us personally to discuss pretty much anything we wanted and was accommodating of our requests and preferences. He flawlessly mixed the songs we requested with many that were similar to it. You can tell he truly has an appreciation for all things music... Think of him as the human Pandora. Dan kept the crowd moving all night and we got a lot of compliments on the music. Also doesn't hurt that he's a really nice guy. My husband Ken and I agree that it was a great decision to hire Dan Nishimoto (aka sintalentos) to DJ our wedding, and we wholeheartedly recommend him for any event.
In terms of pre-planning, Dan met us at our venue to see what type of space we were working with and made recommendations on what he thought would work best. He was also proactive about getting in touch directly with the venue when he had questions rather than come to us expecting answers. This was helpful since we were planning most of our wedding ourselves and had a lot of things to juggle. It was good to know we didn't have to worry about him at all.
Dan also met with us on separate occasions to get to know us and what our musical styles were like. He asked us questions that really made us think about how we wanted our day to progress and then did a skillful job putting a soundtrack to it. Since it was an afternoon wedding and on multiple floors, Dan patiently helped us draw up a well thought out plan so that each part of the wedding would have the appropriate music, from quirky entrance music for the bridal party, to mellow oldies for our older guests and during the main course.
It also spoke volumes that Dan and his assistant Tony were the first to arrive to set up on Wedding Day, before either us or our coordinator. They also worked well with our Wedding Coordinator and other vendors as well. From our friend who was playing live acoustic guitar before the ceremony, to the slide show at the reception, Dan and Tony make sure everyone had exactly what then needed in order to pull off everything like clockwork.
Even as an MC, Dan was spot-on - pronouncing everyone's names correctly, rolling with the punches when we had to make changes in the order of events and getting people to dance with his choice of music and without having to be too loud or pushy.
Overall, he helped us make our day a memorable one for us and our guests.
