Absolutely Perfect Day
The entire Silver Spring team made our day perfect! We began working with Megan, but as she went on maternity leave, Michelle took over. I was worried at first that things would get lost in translation, but everything went so smooth. Megan made the detailing process and tasting quick and easy. Michelle answered any questions I had a couple weeks prior to the wedding and was even able to accommodate some last minute requests. Day of, I didn't have to do anything and they knew exactly what they were doing. Michelle did an awesome job coordinating the day and keeping everything organized and moving. The servers and bartenders were fantastic, our guests just raved at how good and friendly the bartenders were. One of the servers even came out onto the dance floor and asked if they could grab me a drink. Also the food was great! There was plenty of food and actually more than we could finish!
We also used the on-site florist, Carrie, and let me tell you, they were stunning! I did't get emotional all day, except for when I first saw the bouquets and how she was able to incorporate the ribbons from my Grandpa's funeral into my bouquet. When we initially met, we went through some flowers/colors I liked and once my bridesmaids had their dresses picked out, I sent them to Carrie so she could make any adjustments to the flowers to make them match better. Carrie did a beautiful job and it was so nice having the flower centerpieces already set up and bouquets/boutonnieres ready in the rooms when we arrived and didn't have to stress over pickups/deliveries.
Overall, it was a perfect day and I wouldn't change a thing. The venue is a big part of the day and it was great to have everything in one location and our guests agreed. Guests are still talking about how beautiful and perfect the day was. The staff can really make or break the day as well and we were truly lucky with how great and accommodating they were. They honestly looked like they were having just as good of a time as we were! Again, guests are still talking about how awesome they were! We really can't thank you enough for perfecting this important day!! -

My wedding experience was made so easy and beautiful, thanks to this amazing, beautiful venue. We help the ceremony on the rooftop, and reception in the element room. So beautiful, and so elegant. The coordinators did an amazing job, were so responsive, and helped us with all of our worries. I absolutely recommend this venue! The golf view was exquisite in our photos, as well. Also, they have an on-site florist, Carrie! Very affordable, and it was just so easy with the florist being onsite. Absolutely recommend! -

We can't thank Silver Spring enough for helping us pull off this amazing event! Even with all the changes with COVID, I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. The rooftop ceremony was amazing lighting and the perfect scene to set the mood for the entire day. Our pictures on the golf course were a blast and the Element venue room was my ideal style! Megan was fantastic in coordinating a wonderful event. Her great communication was so helpful, especially in the days leading up to the event. We are so impressed with the service we received! -

My husband and I got married about one month ago and had our reception at Silverspring. From our very first meeting there to the actual wedding day, Katie was amazing to work with. She is organized and helped myself stay organize by giving me a timeline of when everything was due and what decisions needed to be made by what date. The whole process made wedding planning a breeze! Anytime I had questions Katie was very quick to answer. Our family and friends loved Silverspring as well - we received many compliments on the food & the wedding. The in-house florist was also helpful. I didn’t have to worry about finding a florist because it was all right there. Carrie was great to work with too. I highly recommend Silverspring! -

Our wedding on August 24th, 2019 was the best day of our lives and it wouldn't have been quite so great without Katie and the rest of the Silver Spring staff! From the beginning of searching for a venue Katie was incredible responsive and beyond helpful with anything that I needed. The experience of planning our wedding at Silver Spring was absolutely perfect! Having an all inclusive venue helped make everything so seamless and made planning a less stressful experience. When it came to the day of our wedding everything went perfectly and I know that wouldn't have been possible without Katie and her excellent management of our day! From the moment we arrived to the time that we left the staff was checking up on us to make sure that we had everything that we needed and making sure that our drinks were full at all times. We received so many compliments on how amazing the food and drinks were along with how beautiful the venue was. Silver Spring really is the perfect venue and I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with them! We had our ceremony on the rooftop and our reception was in the Tremont room and both spaces were beyond beautiful. If you're thinking about choosing Silver Spring as your venue I would highly recommend it! -

This was such a wonderful venue. Katie was amazing to work with and helped everything run smoothly. The guests loved the taco, italian, and carving stations and are still talking about how great the food was months later. -

Kaitlin Sent on 10/09/2018The venue is stunning. I had my wedding (ceremony & reception) there on 9/29/18. Katie was professional and prompt through all steps of the planning process even with some of our unique requests. The food was great, we got so many compliments all night and even after the wedding. The grounds are beautiful for photos. It felt so "all-inclusive", especially with the on-site florist. We picked the venue for it's overall value. Their packages are what really drove us to book. It was very easy! Would recommend to any & all! -
Theresa Sent on 08/01/2018We loved everything about having our wedding reception at Silver Spring this past June. It is a stunning and affordable venue with top notch service. My husband and I worked with Katie. She is absolutely amazing and was so helpful every step of the way. She took a genuine interest in our story and our wedding plans from our first meeting with her. She was accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, and just overall sweet! She even brought us drinks throughout the reception and checked in many times to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious, and our guests were very impressed with both the food and bar service. We could not be happier with our choice and would recommend it to anyone looking.

We worked with Ryan – and we could not have asked for a better coordinator to work with. He was communicative & reliable, and he understood and executed our vision for our special day. Everyone enjoyed the Tremont Ballroom – as well as the drinks and the food. One of our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Thank you Ryan and Silver Spring! -

My husband and I booked this venue almost two years ago. Something that really sparked our attention was the roof top ceremony, and their package deals/pricing. When we booked a lot of things were uncertain-if the roof top needed repair, if the pricing was going to change. The venue went through two management people until we got to Alexis. Alexis was nothing but helpful and beyond patient with not only me but also my husband. There was a lot of confusion in the begining of our time working with Alexis from previous management, once Alexis got things cleared up and we were reviewing the venue-we were beyond excited for the day of.
Alexis was available by email, throught the knot and by text for all the minor panics (do I need to buy my own isle runner), and bigger concerns like food accomdations for food allergies.
My husband and I were inlove with the fact that this venue is pretty all inclusive. The bridal suites are available for you the morning of which is SO convient. We had our rehersal dinner at the venue the night before, which we were able to set up and decorate the night before for our wedding the following day which eased a lot of stress and worry for the day of. Our ceremony and reception were held here, food and drinks were all included. One of the best parts of this venue was the on site florist. Carrie deserves her own shout out and raving review because I was absolutely in awe and obsessed with ALL of our wedding flowers. Carrie to was always available for reassurance, reminders to stay off pintrest and support. Carrie is so talented, I showed her my inspiration and my color schemes and she gave me exactly what I wanted and so much more.
I was shocked because Alexis was there and attentive to all of my needs not only on the rehersal dinner day, but also the wedding day. I got to the venue at 7am, and Alexis was there ready for the day. She helped many times with my veil, offering water on our hot wedding day, she reminded us about the time and also was comforting to me prior to walking down the aisle.
The only iffy part of our experince with this venue was feeling left out of the loop at times. The venue changed their name, and we had no idea (only important for our wedding invites at the time). We were unsure until a few months prior where our ceremony would be held. I am a planner, so that did not help me in any way shape or form where as my husband is a bit more relaxed.
Overall, Silver Spring is absolutely beautiful. The food was very good, the drinks were good and the service was great.
We had the best day ever, and I could not have pictured our day anywhere else!

To start, beautiful venue, the rooftop ceremony site is what sold us. When looking for a venue i had a two things that were mandatory, to have a coordinator included, and to be able to set up the night before. I was told that would be absolutely no issue and the coordinator would be fully included. I was even reassured that bride who outsourced their coordinators in the past did not end up needing them much at all. In the past year and a half we had many unanswered emails and texts from her but we brushed it off because we were still quite far out at the time and just assumed she would get back eventually. Well we met for a final walkthrough 2 weeks prior to our date, she emailed me a final quote that reflected a double charge, and then I did not hear from her for 11 days straight, until the 12th, 2 days before our wedding day. During that time, im spiraling, thinking we don’t even actually have the room booked on their end. We tried calling the golf course directly and were told there is no one on site that could help us and no one could get us an information on the owner either. The next day, rehearsal day, she calls that morning and says oh sorry theres actually a golf outing in your room so your setup wont be able to happen until later on. Ok… well when we finally get to that point, its 9pm the night before and we are nearly done setting up when I asked where the arch was so i could add the decor. She said oh no one emailed you? It broke over the summer” So to party city we went to buy an arch at 9pm right before they close, and then assemble that.
A few more things as a bridal beware-
We were just told the Friday before that the elevator was out, so thank GOD we didn’t have anyone attending the ceremony that was in a wheelchair.
The bathrooms were uncleaned upstairs and in bridal/grooms suites. My MIL asked for the bathrooms upstairs to be cleaned prior and they did do that, however the bride/grooms suite bathrooms were clearly the main bathrooms normally used by the golfers and they were really bad. Smelled like pure urine in both and they were covered in grass.
The coordinator was MIA all night. She cued the ceremony and then that was it. No ques given what so ever after that and then she left before 7pm. We fell massively off my timeline.
The garbage and leftover food from the golf outing that Friday was still in our room the morning of the wedding. We were told they would be cleaned up that night after we left. Floors never ended up vacuumed at all.
We were told we get cloth white napkins given and real silverware for our guests. None of which was put out or provided at all.
They decided to completely close down the bar and shut the doors when we “drank them out” during cocktail hour… I dont understand how better preparation was not in place when they were given a final guest count weeks in advance. I also dont understand why we have to close the whole bar to grab more alcohol. We were starting dinner and people didnt even have drinks.
While our day ended up beautiful, I truly would not recommend this venue unless you hire your own coordinator or they find someone else to help. They have also quadruped their price from when we signed our contract. I just would hate for another bride to go through what i went through. It added sooooo much more anxiety to my day.
I also just recently found out upon leaving this review on Google that they have closed for renovations for the year of 2025 and fired all staff. However, in doing this they have CANCELLED on wedding contracts they already had prior and have now left Brides stranded with anywhere from a few months to less than a year to find a new venue. Shame on this owner. I truly hope they can come back in 2026 so much better as it really is a beautiful spot.
