Lia Sent on 01/17/2018My British husband LOVES cake... Thus, there was a lot riding on the decision of who would bake our wedding cake!
We were thrilled to find Angela, a delightful lady from Yorkshire. She is one in a million, such a talented baker and artist, who offers exceptional service and great style. I presented Angela with a favourite photo of a "naked cake" and she replicated it flawlessly.
On our wedding day, it was the perfect touch for our "Afternoon Tea" cocktail hour, which we paired with lemonade, tea, coffee, finger sandwiches, veggies & dip. When the cake was served, my husband's sister pushed through the crowd to make sure he got a piece, and he was a very, very happy man!
Our guests RAVED about the cake throughout the evening - it was fresh; it was delectable; it was moist; it was fluffy; it wasn't too sweet; the lemon curd was spot on; the buttercream icing was immaculate, silky and tasty; and Angela perfectly arranged the flowers to highlight her impeccable creation.
We asked our venue's staff to set aside the top layer so we could enjoy it on our local honeymoon. We were pleased that it kept fresh in our cake tin for several days, and did we ever polish it off.
Thank you, Angela. Your sparkling personality shines through your work. We are ever so grateful for the way you contributed to our perfect wedding day! -

We booked with Angela because we saw a cake she had previously done and it was exactly what we were looking for. Her willingness to work within our budget was also a major factor. Angela created the most wonderful cake for our wedding. She offers amazing flavor choices and combinations, we had a hard time deciding what to pick so we went with a simple combination of white and chocolate cakes with caramel buttercream. She was great with responding to our questions, and so helpful with recommending flavors and combos. Absolutely Amazing. Most wedding cakes are way too sweet but Angela's cakes are just perfect. I highly recommend Signature Cakes By Angela. -
User2149759 Sent on 05/27/2015Angela was beyond great to work with!!! From the initial e-mails to the taste testing to the day of our wedding. The taste testing is done on 'your' time, I liked this, as many other places only do taste testing on certain days and you're there with many other couples. Angela doesn't try to over sell you anything, she is very honest. Her prices are VERY VERY reasonable.
