I had both my wedding ceremony and reception at Shady Valley on 8/21/10 with 125 guests.

Venue - I’m so, so glad I choose this venue. Everything was perfect! The location was easy to find and in a good neighborhood. My ceremony was done outside. The landscaping was beautiful. I was worried that it would be too hot for the guests. However, it was shaded on all sides so it turned out great. The banquet room was a bit dark so we just played on that and used candles as the centerpiece and that made it feel romantic. There was a large dressing area for both the guys and the girls. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful for all my guests. The floor plan for the reception was perfect. Guests are still telling me today how beautiful it was. One lady told me it was the nicest wedding she had ever been too. So that made me feel good.

Coordinator - Right from the start I loved the Coordinator (Robyn). She was well organized and offered a lot of helpful suggestions throughout the entire process. I was on a budget and she came up with ways to help me stay in within that budget. On the day of my wedding I did not have to do a thing. She handled everything from decorating to pining boutonnieres on the guys. She even handled putting out and packing up all the extra items we brought in. I was very nervous about a vendor I hired. I told her my concerns a couple days before and the day of she told me not to worry it’s taken care of. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure it happened. I’m so glad I had her.

Food - The food was fabulous. They had a list but I had no idea what food to choose so I went by Robyn’s recommendation and it tasted great!!! I got lots of compliments about it. They only showed to offer a buffet but they were flexible. I wanted a sit down served dinner instead of buffet and that was no problem. Everything was served without a hitch. Everyone got their food served quickly and someone was always walking around filling up the drinks and making sure my guests were happy. Later that night they even served my cake for us.

Overall – I couldn’t have been happier. Shady Valley totally exceeded my expectations. The flexibility, friendliness and willingness to help and to make everyone happy made all the difference. Our wedding was so stress free that we were just able to enjoy it. A day that we will cherish forever.

WOW!! is the word we would use to describe Shady Valley.. Robyn and staff made our day very relaxed, this is the one stop location for all of your wedding needs, they took care of everything right down to the napkins. Our family and friends loved the food, the service, and atmosphere. My husband and I felt like King and Queen for the day. Robyn provided us with personal attention, and made sure our day was everything we dreamed of. We enjoyed ourselves so much we will be having our 1 year anniversary party with Shady Valley, also referring everyone in search of a venue to Robyn. Thank you shady Valley!!!!!

This is probably the most inclusive venue I found while looking for a place to host my ceremony and reception. I wanted a very intimate, smallish wedding that was still very elegant and fun. It was really very perfect. We did our own flowers, music, and table runners but other than that we had to do nothing. It took so much pressure off knowing that the set-up and clean up was to be taken care of for us. Included in their services is an unofficial day of coordiantor. Angel will make sure your wedding goes smoothly. It's important to her that you're happy and your needs are met and she will make sure it happens. Since we did so much ourselves there really needed to be someone to take charge and make sure things got done. She did that for us and I couldn't be happier with the way things turned out.
