Lauren was wonderful in helping me achieve my vision, especially on a short time frame! She and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful all day long and the food was great! Thank you so much for making my day one I'll never forget!!

Lauren Moniz was my event coordinator for my recent October wedding at the Cooper River Room. I cannot speak highly enough about Lauren as she was not only wonderful in the services she provided for my husband and me but she was also just a joy to get to know, as well. She knows weddings inside and out and, while we did not use her catering services specifically, I feel that the fact that catering is also one of her specialties was an added bonus in that she could visualize the setup and the needs from that standpoint, as well. The thing that I loved most about Lauren was that she cares about her brides and the weddings she works with her WHOLE heart. Yes, she is absolutely gifted at what she does...but what's most important and is most clear is the care and passion she exhibits for the people she works with. This shines through in all that she does and I am so, so very thankful to her. She spent so much time with me before the wedding working through ideas and conceptualizing my vision. The most amazing thing is that she took ALL of those ideas and made them a reality in her implementation of the big day. Stepping into our venue was truly breathtaking because I was able to finally see a long-planned vision come to life. Lastly, our weather forecast was very unpredictable all day and Lauren was AMAZING in being able to work around and be comfortable with things being so up in the air. In the end, the day and the event was perfect and I have so much of that to credit to Lauren. Thank you, Lauren, for helping to make my dream come true and playing such a huge role in what was the best day of my life. Love you!

Lauren respects your budget and still makes sure you have a fabulous day. I highly recommend hiring her to do your event planning if your venue does not provide it. She made everything look beautiful and let me leave the stress behind to just enjoy. Lauren has great communication with you up to your event and answers all your questions. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time!

Lauren was a joy to work with! She was our coordinator and planner. One stop shop for all! She helped us do everything! The food was excellent. We had 4 stations at a very reasonable price. The venue and everything gorgeous! We would recommend Lauren and Serve!

Overall our experience was fantastic. Lauren was amazing to work with, very helpful and on top of things. And she also didn't seem to mind all my questions ans requirements considering I'm a control freak bride. We got along great and her staff is the best!! Food was amazing and we've only heard the same from all of our guests. I truely reccomend Lauren and her team for your wedding day!

I would highly recommend SERVE! as a catering service! My husband and I have gotten so many compliments and positive feedback from our guests about how great the food was at our wedding and how wonderful the service was! The entire team was top-notch and very professional and Lauren was so wonderful to work with! She helped us to customize our menu so that reflected our tastes and ideas which is something that both my husband and I greatly appreciate in a caterer!

When I started browsing around for a caterer/ planner for my 'long distance' wedding, Lauren literally responded to me in 15 minutes. After one chat with her, it was clear that she understood my vision and it would come to life. She provided a great contact list loaded with DJ's, bands, florists, photographers and even THE BEST hair & makeup artist ever!!
A hurricane hit SC the day before my wedding- which was outside on the water. By 3 pm the next day, you would have never guessed. Lauren and her crew are pure magic at transforming a plain ole backyard into a bride's fairytale. The menu she developed was just phenomenal.....one of the grandmothers even admitted that Serve!'s shrimp and grits were better than her own ??!!! If you can't already tell, I recommend Lauren Moniz & Serve! Catering for your wedding. The bang you get for your buck is unreal. Lauren is very professional, has a great work ethic and was a pleasure to work with. I wish I could add pictures for y'all to see. She made my wedding truly amazing.

Lauren at SERVE Catering was a joy! She was very flexible and easy going right from the start. She gave us several different choices of menu options and we got to choose exactly what we wanted! She helped a lot when it came to deciding about the layout of the reception. Instead of a sit-down-meal, we had specialty stations where people could mingle around and eat while still visiting with others. I highly recommend Lauren and her team- they were really amazing!

She's amazing! Lauren worked so hard to make my day special! She is enthusiastic and loves what she does. I had a nautical themed wedding and she made her displays match my theme. The food was amazing and she was super flexible. Throughout the night she and her crew checked on my husband and I and our families food and drinks the entire night. If our dinks was half empty they would bring another. They catered to our every need. I couldn't have asked for a better night!

Lauren and her team were awesome!!! I pretty much dreamed up a menu and she made it happen! She was extremely helpful and coordinated my rentals, as well. She was eager to accommodate all of my wishes! Most importantly, she was cheerful and supportive throughout the whole process!!!

I absolutely LOVED working with Lauren!! She is so upbeat and cheerful and helped make my whole wedding and the planning a dream come true! She is so easy to work with and communicate with. We talked via email, text, and in person, and I knew I could trust Lauren to do the most amazing job, and she went above and beyond that! My wedding day went absolutely flawless and was an absolutely amazing event! Lauren captured my vision and I felt like I was in a fairytale that entire day. It was so amazing and wonderful! The food was delicious and I heard nothing but raving reviews from all the guests at the wedding! Some of them are still talking about how this was the best shrimp and grits they have ever tasted :) Lauren made planning so easy and helped to make my year of engagement so happy and worry free! I would definitely use Serve! for other events. All of the staff are so friendly and professional and know how to host an amazing party and event! Choosing Lauren and the Serve! team for my wedding was one of the best decisions I ever made! They are like family now, and I can't wait to host another event so I can use them again :)

Lauren is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!! The SERVE! Catering team did an amazing job throughout my entire wedding. They were like family and made my wedding day absolutely flawless and AMAZING. Being from out of state I communicated with Lauren via email, text, phone calls and she completely captured my vision even never meeting in person until the day before. The food was beyond amazing and I had compliments from every guest there. I would highly recommend Lauren and her SERVE! Catering team to everyone looking not only for wedding catering, but catering for ANY event!!! She has become "family" to me and my family, someone in Syracuse LOVES Lauren!!!!!!!! Lauren and her staff are excellent managers of time and people. She keeps things moving forward at a relaxed yet efficient pace. Her flexibility when a wedding party member ran late was commendable. Highly recommend with no reservations!
I will use her services in the future. She provided a wonderful spread that was complimented over and over. It was so nice to have it handled so our focus could be elsewhere.

Lauren was extremely helpful and an answer to prayer when it came down to planning an international wedding in less than 4 months. She had the perfect venue, catering AND planning all of which I needed and the wedding was beautiful! Lauren and SERVE were a lifesaver!

We had Lauren help us organize both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day . She was there from the very beginning to help take some of the pressure off of us. She was not just our caterer! She provided such a unique service that helped ease our minds on the big day. She assisted us in working out many of the details. She helped with colors, rental items, and planning a menu. Not only was the food beyond delicious (yummy mac & cheese :), but we also had fantastic service both nights. Lauren and her team made our big day so super special and it would not have been the same without her. We loved SERVE!

Serve catered my wedding and they were fabulous. Everyone raved about the food and Lauren is wonderful to work with. Their shrimp and grits are some of the best I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Lauren and Serve did an absolutely wonderful job at my wedding! She was so easy to work with and was able to pull all my ideas and everything I wanted into a dream wedding! Lauren is truly a talented woman who will work harder then anyone I have ever met to make sure the outcome and vision is everything you want! I truly had a fairytail wedding and its all because of Lauren! She was able to give me everything I wanted and was easy to work with. Lauren was always available and accessible, responsive and easy to get a hold of. She calmed all my nerves and I truly did not have to worry about a single thing! The food was to die for and I have never received so many compliments about the food from guests as I did for my wedding! I can not wait to use Lauren and Serve again for my next event! She is truly a talented woman and her work and attention to detail took my breath away the night of my wedding!

I provide this review not as the bride, but as the mother of the groom. I did not contract for these services or negotiate a price, so I cannot speak to that aspect, but I can speak to the service that I saw and enjoyed.

Lauren put her ALL into this event! Everything was lovely and expertly displayed. The food was hot, delicious and served well by Lauren's staff. Bar tending services were excellent, as well.

Lauren also served as wedding coordinator, which was no small task. Our group was a bit unruly and loud, but Lauren was able to get everyone in line, both literally and figuratively as we began the wedding procession.

All in all, a beautiful wedding--very well done by Lauren Moniz and Serve Catering.

Lauren is amazing! During the year that I spent planning my wedding, Lauren was consistently flexible patient and sososo knowledgable. I planned my charleston wedding from raleigh, and Lauren as my eyes and ears in charleston. Lauren was our caterer and coordinator.

As our coordinator, Lauren managed our rentals from event works, checked out our venue and sent pictures, and was always available to talk through everything from flowers to seating logistics. Because I was out of state, I was extra needy and Lauren was always available to talk me through our plan and pull me off the ledge. On our wedding weekend, Lauren was literally superwoman. She ran all over the place, from coordinating the rental delivery, setting up the rentals, managing our rehearsal, she even received our bulk flower delivery and dropped it at our hotel. She managed everything the day of, and kept me calm.

As our caterer, Lauren rocked! The food was amazinggggg, everyone ate and ate and ate. We had crab stuffed mushrooms and fried green tomatoes for our cocktail hour, then a beef carving station and shrimp and grits win mashed potatoes, cinnamon and sugar carrots and baked Mac and cheese, then a snack later into the night with fried chicken sliders and ham biscuits, and everything was to die for and sooo reasonably priced. I changed our menu at least 20 times, food was a priority for us and I wanted it to be perfect, and Lauren was so patient and willing to rework my quote and help me stay in budget. Everyone loved he food, we're still hearing from friends and family that it was the best wedding food they've ever had.

I would recommend Lauren to anyone. She gave me my perfect wedding, she is a professional with a personal touch and should be nominated for sainthood. Love you Lauren!

Lauren and her company Serve! did such a fantastic job of planning our wedding. She thought of things that I never would have and her attention to detail is excellent. She is very well-connected so we got more than we could have imagined. If you want a fabulous wedding, you've found the right planner!

Working with Lauren from Serve! Catering and Events was a delight. Lauren is knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic. She worked with us to get the menu we felt applicable to the venue. Serve! Catering and Events has a varied menu and offerings and the food was absolutely wonderful. Many of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food which is such an important aspect of the event.

You owe it to yourself to talk to Lauren and compare prices and menus. You won't go wrong hiring them for your event.

The food and service was fantastic!! We are still getting compliments on the quality of food and service to this day! Lauren made everything look so easy and took all the stresses that a bride has to worry about completely out of my hands from our first meeting. She truly took care of our every need and want that we had on our list for our wedding day and it was always with a smile. I would definitely refer SERVE! to the next bride and groom or for any event that you want to be a success because she will make sure it is nothing but that and more.

Lauren Moniz and her professional staff were easy to work with, communicate with, and did their utmost to make our wedding the beautiful event we imagined. We had a Rehearsal Dinner and no one lives where the wedding was. It was a Destination Wedding. I spent months with Lauren planning and she was an excellent communicator and worked dilligently to get the feel of what it was we wanted to convey from the standpoint of food and atmosphere.

THE BEST COMPANY in town.. Lauren and her team were fabulous. Lauren has a true passion for this business and she is very talented in all that she creates.. from the start she was so helpful in the planning and color scheme and then the day of with the food, the bar and her the staff.. it was the best day of my life. Serve! Catering and Events did an amazing job with both of our events. They catered my sons rehearsal dinner and wedding. Serve! is a one stop shop. Lauren was our coordinator of all. She listens and gave excellent advise. She took my son and his brides vision and professionally, expertly and most of all beautifully put both of their events together. One of my favorite things was having all our rentals (tables, chairs and linens) food and décor all with one vendor. Saves so much time!! Serves food was amazing....many of our guest said, "this was the best food they have ever had". I strongly recommend anyone needed a caterer check out Lauren and staff!!!! I will definitely use them again!!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with SERVE! Catering and Events. Danny and Lauren are talented and genuine people. They listen to your needs and do everything they can do bring your vision to life. SERVE! provides affordable, personable, and top notch service.

We met with SERVE! with only three months to get everything planned out. I was a nervous wreck but Lauren always made me feel at ease. We had complete faith in Lauren and Danny and they came through with flying colors!

Lauren is amazing. Her attitude and knowledge of her business is fantastic. Her staff was professional and personable. All my guests were well fed and very complimentary on both the presentation and the taste. Everything was perfect!

SERVE! Catering and Events and Lauren are absolutely amazing! I cannot thank Lauren and her staff enough for giving me the wedding of my dreams. I had worked with Lauren on several events for my work before I got engaged and was extremely impressed with her professionalism, catering abilities and delicious food, so when I got engaged it was an easy decision to go with SERVE! for my wedding.
Lauren served as both the caterer and the event planner for my wedding, making it extremely convenient. Lauren listened to what we wanted, provided guidance, worked with our budget and created a beautiful wedding. My parents and I were stress free on my wedding day, because Lauren and her staff took care of handling every detail and made sure everything was perfect, even when the weather decided to change our reception plans, she made sure everything was comfortable and wonderful and our wedding venue was the picture of Southern Charm. I can’t say enough about the exceptional quality of our food, all of our guests raved about our mouth-watering Southern food. The shrimp and grits turned skeptics into believers, and even the pickiest of eaters enjoyed their delicious meal. Weeks after my wedding I am still craving the Mac and Cheese! The serving staff was extremely professional and polite and made sure all of our needs were met, the bartenders even made sure they knew my husband and my drinks of choose so it was ready when we walked up!
Lauren has a true passion and talent for what she does, and pours her heart and soul into her work and makes any event she does outstanding. She took my vision for my wedding and made it real, her attention to detail shows in every aspect of her work and I was extremely happy to work with her. Lauren and her staff truly made our wedding unforgettable and I cannot thank them enough for giving us such a fantastic day. I would highly recommend SERVE! Catering and Events to anyone looking for a fabulous event!

So helpful and the food was great!

Lauren was so great to work with, really attentive and helpful during the whole process. The food was delicious, we got tons of compliments. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Lauren and her staff served all passed foods with 2 displays throughout our 60 guest party. We had a bar (beer and wine) and it was in our home. This group was amazing, professional and we received very positive feedback from our guest on the food and service.

SERVE will always be our first call.

SERVE! was great. They catered our awards dinner, and the set up was beautiful and the food was delicious. We didn't even ask for the set up to be decorated, and they made it look like a work of art, accented with flowers. We look forward to working with them again, and eating more delicious succatash!

Lauren's energy and enthusiasum makes her wonderful to work with. My only complaint would be that her communication was sometimes poor - (responding to emails, answering questions, etc.) As the bride, I didn't really get to enjoy the food - although a plate was made for me, by the time I got to eat it was cold. I did appreciate that Lauren was willing to try something new and made us lobster roll appetizers - but again, I wasn't able to enjoy any. All in all it was a great experience and everything came together perfectly on the day.

Laruen and her team did a wonderful job with our wedding. She was such a huge help planning where things would go, how many tables and linens we needed, and just getting everything ready for our big day. the food that they served was amazing. the only complaint we got from some of our guests was that by the time a few of them got to the food, there was only a few items left. but they did such a wonderful job!

Lauren and Jan are wonderful people, enthusiastic, happy and willing to please and open to our ideas. Caroline was wonderful as well! The venue is gorgeous. The food was good but could've been more of it. Lauren was sometimes difficult to connect with.
