Garrett and crew at Sengelmann's are AMAZING! The quality and service that they provide is top notch. Being an event planner by profession, I wanted a very distinct style of wedding and Garrett was side by side with me the entire time to ensure that my vision came together. He worked to accommodate my schedule as I was traveling back and forth from Houston, answered ALL of my questions and even helped track down the necessities to make my vision possible. The venue is so unique in what it offers...there really isn't another location like it in the state of Texas (trust me-I looked.) We had guests from all over the state and nation attend and they were blown away with the day. We were able to use all areas of the venue from the saloon, restaurant, biergarten, upstairs patio for our scotch and cigar bar and dance floor. No matter what the guests were in the mood for, we were able to provide a fun atmosphere for them.
Now for the food...absolutely incredible. Once again, Garrett's creativity (and flexibility) in the food that he prepares and displays is above all else. He took what could have been a traditional meal and turned it up a notch to the first class offering I wanted. (P.S-make sure to ask him for the late night homemade pizza for guests to enjoy just before the night ends)
Lastly, we had a live band performing at our reception. The lighting and sound equipment that Sengelmann's has made it so convenient for the band to just show up with their instruments and put on a great performance. The band was amazed at the quality as well.
I cannot recommend this venue enough. I knew I wanted a celebration to top the 100's of other parties I have thrown in my life...and it certainly did...all thanks to Garrett. I still get a huge smile a year later when people say it was the most epic wedding they have ever been to.
