Sean Gallery STUNS - 100% recommend

Sean is an exceptional wedding photographer! My husband and I hired him for our June 2023 wedding and were absolutely blown away by his talent and professionalism. We used him for our engagement photos and for our wedding day, and could not have been happier with the outcomes. He captured all of the emotions of the day and I know we will cherish his photos for a lifetime.

Two things that set Sean apart from other photographers, in my opinion:
1.) he is literally the kindest guy. My husband and I felt so at ease around him, something that I think is critical for your wedding.

And, 2.) he is the master of photojournalism. The last thing I wanted on my wedding was to have to spend it all cheesing and posing in front of a camera. Of course, we did the family photos before the ceremony, but from then on out, Sean blended in with the whole event and captured all of the big and little moments flawlessly. It was so much fun going through all the candid moments Sean captured and reliving the night again once we got our photos back (he also got all of our photos back to us SO quickly).

We wholeheartedly would recommend Sean to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. He truly is the best!

Amazing Experience!

We worked with Sean for both our engagement session and wedding day at the Garrison, and he was amazing to work with from start to finish. He was friendly, patient, and incredibly kind, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process.

On our wedding day, his assistant Michelle was also wonderful to work with. Together, they put so much thought and care into every photo they took. Their attention to detail, creativity, and dedication really shows in the photos.

We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Sean and his team to anyone looking for a talented and thoughtful wedding photographer.

Every moment captured perfectly!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Sean for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. From the start, he was flexible, communicative, detail-oriented, and incredibly responsive. Since being in front of the camera doesn’t come naturally to us, we were a little nervous — but Sean made the entire experience feel comfortable and easy.

Both our engagement and wedding photos came out absolutely beautiful. On the wedding day especially, he was calm and steady on our chaotic (but amazing!) day. Looking back at our photos, we’re still in awe of how he managed to capture so many special moments — it honestly feels like he was in multiple places at once.

We are so grateful for his talent and professionalism and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who truly captures it all.

Wedding and Engagement Photos!

We recently got married at the Garrison and had Sean take our photos for our engagement shoot and our wedding. We had an amazing time working with him and commend him for his professionalism.
He is very passionate and works very well with couples and is always hustling to get the best shots. He communicates well and has a great vision for the best shots.
During the wedding the entire bridal party and all family enjoyed working with him!

The Best!!!

We vetted 60+ photographers and are so glad we found and chose Sean! His experience was evident in his photos, elegant and timeless with a hint of modernity and editorial flair. Additionally, his video package was more comprehensive than most in that we received a shorter 5-minute video and a full-length film, about an hour in length. In the months, weeks, and days leading to our wedding, Sean was available whenever we needed support or had questions. On the day of our wedding, Sean and his team were nothing short of magical. Professional, yet fun; capturing every single shot on our list – and additional creative and beautiful ones Sean thought would be right for us - on a perfectly executed schedule. When we got our photos back, edits were already made and anticipated; you won’t even see another photographer in the background of your photos, that’s no easy feat. And the photos are stunning! A truly fantastic photographer!

I first met Sean when he photographed my sister's wedding in 2020. I was so impressed by his work and his manner, hiring him for my wedding and engagement shoot was truly a no brainer. Our photographs are unbelievable! We were both nervous to be photographed, however Sean's calming presence and easy going manner helped ease us into the process and make us feel completely comfortable. Top notch wedding photographer!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Sean Gallery for our engagement photo session and entire wedding ceremony and reception. From start to finish, Sean was professional, polite, and very easy to work with. We were nervous at first since we did not know how to pose for pictures, but Sean was able to direct our poses and facial expressions with ease and the utmost attention to detail. We provided samples of the shots that we wanted in advance of the big day and got exactly what we were looking for - the angles, the emotions, color and editing quality. Sean and his team have gone above and beyond to accommodate our quick turnaround requests too. We got so many compliments from family and friends on our photos that to this day we can’t stop looking at them. Stunning Photos Delivered in Record Time!!

My husband hired Sean to capture his proposal and we enjoyed our photoshoot afterwards so much that we decided to hire Sean to be our wedding photographer. Sean was always responsive and available to us when we had questions or needed to coordinate anything. We booked the package that included a 1 hour engagement photoshoot but it ended being longer than that because Sean wanted to get all the shots instead of just ending the photoshoot after 1 hour. Then comes our wedding day, Sean was punctual and so professional. Since we had already worked with him twice, we felt really comfortable with him but even my family and friends felt comfortable with him despite it being their first time working with Sean. Our second shooter, Lenny, was also amazing and always made sure the little details (like my hair placement) were correct. We felt so taken care of during the day and I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything. Sean delivered all of our photos to us just 5 days after our wedding! It was really incredible and every single photo was perfect. Hire Sean and his team if you want the most stunning photos that will capture the essence of your special day!

Sean was everything we could have asked for, and more! We worked with him for both our engagement photos and our wedding. His warm energy made us feel comfortable instantly and he guided us and our entire wedding party through the photos seamlessly. His incredible understanding of what to capture during a wedding ceremony is unlike any other photographer. His photos are gorgeous and perfectly captured our special day. 10/10 - Book Sean Gallery ASAP!

Wow! Where do I begin?! Sean and team were just truly amazing to work with from the second they walked in until our last few shots.
I was introduced to Sean by my coordinator at Ravel Hotel and was so pleased to have met him and selected him as our photographer. Sean was extremely responsive, helpful with his pricing packages and even jumped on a quick call with us to help answer questions.
The day of our wedding, Sean & his team were timely and they were dressed so sharp! After finally meeting Sean in person, you quickly realize that he and his team are just truly genuine folks. Sean had previously shot at Ravel so he had some really great ideas of pictures and he continually made me, my husband and entire family so comfortable all day long.
I would highly recommend booking two photographers so one can be with your significant other to capture photos of them getting ready, hanging out and different angles when walking down the aisle.
We are beyond thrilled to have worked with Sean and would recommend him again and again. Thank you Sean & Team for capturing our day - We appreciate you and the passion for your work!

Sean and his team are responsive, professional, and personable!

We loved working with Sean and his team! We had both our engagement photos and wedding photos done with Sean Gallery. From the beginning of the planning process, my husband and I wanted a photographer that had more of a natural and journalistic style and Sean was the gem we were looking for! He was readily available to answer any questions and always got back to us with thorough responses in a timely manner. Sean, Jack and Patrick were there for photos and video for our wedding day. Sean is really great at capturing beautiful moments that look natural and not forced at all. He was especially really great at reminding me to relax and take deep breaths whenever I tensed up and/or looked awkward. Additionally, Patrick's bright energy kept us upbeat and we really enjoyed his commentary throughout the whole day. This team was the perfect match for us especially because I am Korean and my husband is Filipino. Sean and Jack both speak Korean fluently and Patrick speaks Tagalog. That helped put our parents at ease and was easy for them to communicate to our guests as well. Sean and his team are extremely professional, accommodating and flexible and we were able to get so many great shots that captured our special day! Sean gallery are the kindest and most creative photographers!

Sean and his team were absolutely incredible!! A full year before our wedding, we were in touch with Sean and he was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with the whole time. We had the most amazing engagement shoot with Sean in Central Park, enjoying every second of the experience - the pictures were more amazing than we imagined. From this, we already knew how incredible Sean was before our wedding day, but he and his team somehow superseded our already high expectations on the actual day. They were extremely professional and polite, giving enough directions and posing advice to organize everyone, while still being respectful. They captured the most genuine and emotional aspects of our wedding without disrupting or overstepping at any point.

Sean and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day - they even handed out hand warmers to us when we took pictures outside in the cold! For the wedding day pictures, again we were blown away by the quality of his work. We received a 100 picture highlights page from our wedding within 36 hours and the full album within a week - that is absolutely unheard of these days! Sean is a true expert photographer and his pictures speak for themselves.

Just book Sean already and ask for Lenny too (if he's available as a second photographer). You know those snarky, think they're funny photographers that are at your friends' weddings that don't give you any guidance - Sean and his team are the opposite of that dynamic. He was our favorite vendor, and we cannot recommend Sean highly enough!

Amazing pictures and a calming presence.

We worked with Sean for engagement photos and for our wedding. He was unbelievable to work with. He was everywhere on our wedding day, capturing the day and our experience, but he never felt in the way. The photos were fantastic. The "Seal Team 6" of Wedding Photography!

We got married in July 2022, so this review is long overdue. If you’re looking for a wedding photography and videography team, look no further! Sean Gallery Photography is the team to pick to help capture all the special moments of your wedding day.

Sean and his team can be described as the “seal team 6” of wedding photography. We were blessed to have both Sean and Lenny be our photographers at our wedding. There were at least 3 other team members to assist with photos and do the videography (+ drone footage). They scouted our venue in advance to pick out spots for our first look and photos, easily coordinated among themselves on where they all needed to be without being in each other’s way, and captured both the big and small details of our venue, decor, wedding party, guests and of course ourselves from morning to night. They allowed us to be fully present in all of our activities without needing to direct them - such a huge win! Instead, Sean gave us occasional pointers when needed to optimize our photos. Several people in our respective families and wedding party commented on how friendly and detail-oriented Sean and his team were. We all loved how all of the photos and our videos came out!

My husband played a song for me on his guitar during the reception, and the cake cutting was included in our schedule. Sean’s team set up professional lighting with expert placement to perfectly capture the moments on video without blocking the view for our guests.

Also, if you’re on the fence about purchasing a wedding album from Sean, we highly recommend that you do! We went through several rounds of edits, and Sean made some suggestions until we were 100% satisfied with the finished result. We even made some edits to our Trailer video. Sean was SO patient with us! The album itself stunning – high quality and perfect for us to relive the memories whenever we. And all of our guests love how the Trailer video captured key moments of our wedding.

Overall, 5-star service. You won’t be disappointed if you work with Sean!

Best in the business

After working with Sean and his team for nearly a year I can say without a doubt he is a true professional and I would recommend him to anyone. He did our engagement photos and wedding photos and did the most incredible job. When I first met Sean, he told me that his goal was to get to know us leading up to the wedding, so that on the wedding day we didn’t feel like we had a random photographer following us around, and he did just that. Sean and his team captured the most beautiful moments without us even noticing. His photos are impeccable, he is professional, responsive and timely. He did a great job managing difficult family matters and was able to keep the energy up during group photos. He even surprised us with our complete wedding album just a week after the wedding. I cannot say enough good things about him, he is truly one of the best.

One of the best decisions of our wedding!

We hired Sean, Lenny (the second shooter), and videography for our wedding in July. The morning of, a team of five showed up and continued to run around endlessly documenting the best parts of the day. We had already done an engagement shoot with Sean, so we were very comfortable with him, and his whole team put us at ease right from the start.

They directed our shots, but with a light touch — never overdoing it, so everything turned out looking very natural. They worked together seamlessly, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! We had looked at Sean's previous work — very artistic, but also very candid and natural — but we were still blown away when we received our album. Sean and his team captured the magic we felt on our wedding day, and the many emotions that we and our guests felt throughout the ceremony and reception.

The videography was fantastic as well — providing a beautifully edited highlight reel, as well as getting-ready shots, a full-length version of the ceremony, all the dances and speeches from the reception. We enjoyed rewatching every minute of it and can't wait to continue doing so in the years ahead.

Sean and co. were also extremely pleasant and easy to work with, communicative and receptive to any feedback we had. There were pricier photographers out there, but we don't believe any of them could have exceeded the work Sean and team did. We couldn't recommend them more highly!

Sean is a total pro who made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. Sean is 10/10 in so many ways. He created the most stunning pictures of our wedding, impressively capturing the emotions of the day in still shots. Engagement Photos

Sean was AMAZING! He was so professional and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He gave us great advice while posing and helped us look our best for such special photos! Sean is the absolute best!!

Having Sean as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! His photos speak for themselves but on top of that, he is just all around great at what he does. He has an amazing eye for photography and really uses whatever space you are in well to get you beautiful pictures. He offers direction, poses you, makes you laugh, and gently reminds you to smile which I was so grateful for as I tend to tense up when my picture is being taken!

Something that made Sean stand out for us was that his style is totally his own. You get a unique mix of photos with editing that brings out the best in each photo, not just one standard edit for all. By looking through his past weddings you can see it is never one size fits all. Each wedding is photographed in a unique way based on the surroundings.

Sean was easy to communicate with, answered emails in a timely fashion and was on time the day of the wedding. My family commented to me how friendly he was. At the wedding itself he was discreet and somehow got such amazing pictures of everyone while just blending in with the crowd. I also definitely recommend hiring Sean’s second photographer Lenny, who was also great to work with. We enjoyed looking through the photos and seeing poses from different angles.

Wonderful & Personable

We really appreciate Sean and his fabulous work. Sean photographed our engagement and wedding photos. We’re so happy with the final products, and our friends and family loved them, too. Prior to working with Sean, neither of us were used to being in front of a camera, so we were a little apprehensive before the engagement shoot. However Sean has a natural calming presence and a good sense of humor. He kept our confidence up throughout the session by reminding us of our love for each other. By the time of our wedding day in July 2021, we already felt so comfortable with Sean that any stage direction we took from him felt natural.

Our wedding day schedule was busy, but it's on a day like this where Sean's ability to capture special moments from our wedding shines. I love how he framed our special, candid moments throughout the day, and he was also great at taking those formal portraits you have to have, but in a non-cheesy way. Looking at our wedding photos, he always knew where to be throughout the whole day to make us look our best. Sean was also very proactive & knowledgeable in working with us on the wedding timeline and did a great job coordinating between us and the videographer on the wedding day. Sean is a master at work, so detail oriented and has such a good eye to capture all the wonderful moments of our big day. He went above and beyond to make sure our wedding photos were perfect! Sean is the best!!

My husband and I hired Sean as our wedding and engagement shoot photographer and we could not be happier with all of our pictures and our experience with Sean!! He was so amazing to work with - he made us feel comfortable posing for pictures and he was always responsive and flexible in our COVID postponement planning. We love Sean Gallery!

When we initially sat down to choose a photographer for our wedding, we were overwhelmed; most of the websites looked the same to us, and we couldn’t imagine being able to choose someone. Luckily, Sean Gallery was recommended to us by a friend, and when we looked through his photography, we were instantly blown away by his beautiful and unique perspective.

Sean has been so lovely to work with. He has been responsive and available whenever we had questions, and he made us feel so comfortable at both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. We also appreciated Sean’s patience and flexibility as our wedding plans evolved due to Covid, and he perfectly captured our intimate wedding ceremony.

The Best Decision!

Sean shot the photography at my wedding over a year ago and his work was outstanding. He is a consummate professional, and I could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. There were many parts of wedding planning that felt hard, but working with him was as easy as could be - and the photos are an absolute dream. Sean Gallery is fantastic!

We had a great experience with Sean as our wedding photographer and highly recommend him! During our initial meeting with Sean, we were able to review some albums of his photography from previous weddings and were impressed with the consistently high quality of all of his photographs. While other photographers had a number of high quality photos in their albums, with Sean we were impressed by nearly every photograph in the albums. It is clear that he puts a significant effort into making sure every single photograph is exceptional, and this was certainly true of the photos we received from our own wedding.

In the lead up to the wedding, Sean was extraordinarily responsive to our questions, responding quickly and answering any and all of our questions.

We were additionally impressed with how subtle Sean and his assistant were during the wedding itself. For much of the wedding, we were completely unaware of his presence and when we received the final photos, we were pleasantly surprised to find he had captured many moments for which we did not even know he was present. During events like the cutting of the cake, first dances, toasts, etc., we never needed to wait for Sean. He and his assistant were able to quickly and discreetly set up their lighting, take their photographs, and remove their equipment without ever disrupting the event.

During posed photographs with our family and bridal party, Sean was extremely patient and helpful, making suggestions and providing great advice on how to position ourselves to look our best. He is great at making everyone feel comfortable with the process. His advice helped us avoid feeling self-conscious or over-thinking about what we would look like in photos. Additionally, he included a free engagement shoot prior to the wedding, which was very helpful in allowing us to get used to working with him.

We received our final set of about 800 photos about 6.5 weeks after the wedding and were extremely pleased with the results. We used his website to order printed albums for our parents and the quality of the books was excellent. Sean also very generously extended a discount code that had expired and was able to assist us with the ordering process to make sure our albums arrived in time for Christmas. The albums ordered through his website are more expensive than one might find through third-party options but, after receiving the albums, we were glad we went through Sean, as the high-quality of the books was definitely worth it. The only very minor complaint with the photo-book creation webpage was that the layout options were somewhat limited and can require some thought to find a good set of photos for each page (e.g., sometimes we wanted to include a landscape-oriented photo on a page, but the only free slot was for a portrait-oriented photo). That said, limiting the layout options did make it easier to maintain a professional look when designing the albums.

We highly recommend Sean without reservation to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding photographer!

The Best Wedding Photographer Out There!

Sean Kim is the BEST of the best. I first him at my cousin's wedding, where I was blown away by his ability to somehow be in 100 places at once, capturing every moment so naturally but never feeling like he was getting in the way to capture the shot. He had the best energy and we were instantly blown away. So when it came time to plan my wedding, we looked no further than Sean. And man, did he top every expectation. An amaing photography team that really makes you feel comfortable

We interviewed a lot of photographers before we decided on Sean Gallery Photography. We ended up working with Lenny because we really loved the candid photos he was able to capture of other wedding couples as well as all of the other guests. They had a very affordable price and we didn’t have to sacrifice on quality at all!

Leading up to the wedding, we also had a complimentary hour long engagement photoshoot with Lenny that really helped us get comfortable with him and the camera. He picked some great spots around the West Village so we were able to get all sorts of great shots in different settings around there. He helped us feel comfortable throughout the whole experience and we got some fantastic shots.

On the wedding day, Lenny and his assistant, Ria, did such a great job jumping between our rooms to capture those “getting ready” moments. Once we got to the venue he was able to quickly and efficiently get through all of the many combinations of family photos (divorced and remarried family members) so we had as much time as possible to hang out with our guests. He also pulled us aside nearing the beginning and end of the night to capture some really amazing shots around the venue. All our friends and family commented on how funny and personable Lenny was as he gave everyone direction on positioning. He really made us feel at ease and enjoy the whole day!

Since the wedding, we’ve seen the teaser album edited and put together by Sean (https://www.facebook.com/pg/seangalleryphotography/photos/?tab=album&album_id=2682855811747373) and we cannot wait to see the rest. We are so impressed on how beautiful the pictures came out. Sean was also super helpful. We forgot to bring our invitations for some detail shots with the rings and shoes, but Sean made some time to snap a few photos a week later so we could slip those into the album.

The event might have only lasted 5 hours, but Lenny made sure to capture the feel of the event so we can relive it forever.

We cannot recommend Sean and his team enough. We got married on August 10th in Garrison, NY and we are so incredibly grateful that we found Sean. His pictures are absolutely stunning, and he is a pleasure to work with. We searched through countless photographers before we found him, and I feel so lucky that we did. Just amazing!

Most amazing photographer we could have asked for. close to a year ago i had my photgrapher booked for wedding , but they didn't do engagements. One day when meeting with our wedding music team, we saw some amazing photos on the wall, they were of Sean's. I was beyond mesmerized by the beautiful work. After meeting with several photographers and meticulously looking into their portfolios, reading reviews, we never had that feeling that we found the photographer right for us. Luckily we stumbled upon Sean’s portfolio on Fearless Photographers. We were amazed with how gorgeous the pictures were (with plenty of night shots) and we knew we had to meet with him right away. During our meeting with Sean, he gave us insight on what the best possible timing was to fit the pictures we wanted based on his experience and also listened to any concerns we had.
During the day of the wedding, I was extremely nervous that we would not have enough time to capture everything as it was a bit of a time crunch, (due to a late addition of a Tea Ceremony) but Sean was extremely supportive and reassuring. Sean and his associate Jeffrey came in with bright smiles and immediately went to work in taking pictures of wedding details and of the bridesmaids while I was getting ready. He was friendly and with humor brought out everyone’s genuine smiles.
Throughout the course of the day, Sean took us to different locations near the venue and we followed whichever direction he gave to capture the pictures. He was extremely professional and had the most authentic personality that you could tell he really loved what he was doing. Did I already mention that he was really funny? The night flew by extremely fast and by the next morning I was so anxious to see pictures but knew that it would take a while to see any. Little did I know that TWO days later, Sean would send numerous teaser photos that looked absolutely AMAZING!!! The sparkler exit, the night shots, the first look, candid shots, everything was BEAUTIFUL.
Note, my husband and I did not have Sean take our engagement photos due to budget reasons so we never worked with him prior AND also had him as a single photographer so we REALLY put our trust in him, and he definitely delivered. We are SO APPRECIATIVE and extend our biggest thanks!!!

We were concerned about many factors when it came to our wedding - it was intimate (about 30 people), at a smaller venue, and mostly everything was DIY. Up to the morning of the big day, we were working double time to ensure everything was set up, as we were doing everything by hand.

None of these things mattered when it came to Sean. He arrived and promptly began working around us. He was caring and attentive, and he immediately put everyone at ease. Throughout the night, he captured the most beautiful shots - both directed and candid. I don't even know how but he was everywhere at once, and barely took a break. Everyone who attended commented at least once about how wonderful Sean was, and we could not agree more. He managed to take the most genuine and heartwarming shots of everyone and everything that was important to us, from the small handmade decorations to each individual member of our family. He even managed to send us an album of preview pictures two days after our wedding, letting us look through the cherished moments of that special day (which felt like it flew by) with our close ones.

We are so grateful to Sean for helping make our wedding day even more special. We thank him for respecting our family, for having fun with us while shooting, and for all the memories he captured. We first found Sean through our friends in New York who had him do their engagement photos. The images we saw really resonated with me and my fiance. His price was extremely reasonable for the quality of photos. Even through just simple email exchanges, we felt Sean was so easy to work with - direct, no fuss, perfect execution.

Due to weather changes, we had to reschedule our session multiple times... and it dragged on from last fall to this spring to this summer. Sean made himself available at very short notice, and was helpful to guide us through our thinking on when is a good day to shoot (versus not). Never did we feel pressured to use him, and he was always there for us.

When we finally found a date that worked for us, Sean came to our photo shoot and just WOW'D US. It was clear he's extremely experienced. He knew exactly where to shoot in Central Park, which path to take. He made our photos work despite that the place was filled with people. He knew just by looking at other photographers' lens whether we were okay standing nearby their parties. Even though our shoot was only 1.5 hours, he helped us cover all of the areas we had asked for (it was a LOT). He brought such amazing energy to the shoot, truly went above and beyond, and helped us feel less nervous and really brought out our true selves.

Even though neither my fiance and I are "photogenic", somehow the photos turned out breathtaking. Every time I look at them, I'm filled with an overwhelming joy. If you're ever considering anyone for any professional shoot, PLEASE go with Sean. The BEST surprise was that even though he'd only known us for 1.5 hours, his photos captured EXACTLY who we were, and the way we loved each other. He helped us see, through the photos, those tiny little moments between two people that normally go unrecognized. If a relationship could have a mirror, Sean's photos would be it. For that we are eternally grateful.

After I saw Sean's work on my venue's Facebook page and other wedding pictures he's shot at my venue, I knew I had to book him. He was very response to all emails and we "met" during a Skype call. We booked him a few minutes after that!

We did an engagement shoot during the summer and my husband and I had a blast! Sean made the photo shoot very comfortable and easy going, and gave us a few good laughs too! Overall, he is true artistic professional.

We got married in the fall and received so many compliments about how beautiful our wedding photos turned out and how they've never seen photos like the ones he took for us.

I don’t have enough good things to say about Sean Gallery! I booked him for my large wedding (210 people) and with a big wedding party (13 groomsmen and 11 bridesmaids). Leading up to the wedding, he was easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had quickly and efficiently. I booked him and Lenny as the second shooter for the wedding, which also included an assistant. The day of the wedding, they arrived early to search the area. They were professional and personable. Sean had so many great ideas, but also let me say during the reception “take this picture!” without any hesitation. We made a schedule ahead of time and Sean was able to keep on schedule and we were never running behind or feeling rushed. He was able to control the big wedding party and get the shots he needed. He was also pretty funny and enjoyable to be around. We got a sneak peak of the pictures a few days and to say they are stunning is an understatement. They are absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to see all of them in a couple of weeks. I found he was reasonably priced for all that he offers and I would recommend him to anybody!

Sean was incredible. Not only are the photos amazing, but he was a calming presence throughout the whole day with a fantastic demeanor! Sean is the absolute best on many levels. I hired him for a non-wedding photo shoot. I'm an attorney and my website was being redone. The website design co. and I both wanted updated pictures - something well beyond the cold head shots you see on the typical law firm website as those aren't true to me or my practice. We wanted something warm and personal. Well, Sean not only blew me away on the end result of the in-office pictures but he was willing to work a larger family photo shoot into the 2 hour time we had to work together.

My wife thought the world of Sean, his thoroughness, and personality. My kids, 5.5 years old and 3.5 years old, took to him as well.

The pictures are everything myself, my family, and the website design co could have wanted. The business shots have the right balance of professionalism and warmth while the family photos we'll long treasure.

We'll be using Sean again for holiday photos - why mess around w/someone else when you've found the person in Sean that's the perfect fit. I can't recommend Sean highly enough.

I can't speak highly enough of Sean! We worked with him for our engagement photos and then for our wedding photos. We had to reschedule the engagement photos several times due to conflicts on our end (not his) and he was immeasurably kind and patient with us! I'm really glad we did the engagement photos, because they came out beautifully (and he turned them around so quickly!) and also it gave us a chance to get to know Sean, and to get a little more comfortable in front of the camera. The wedding day is of course more busy - so actually, Sean took many of our photos that day without us even realizing - and they came out amazing!! He took a wide variety of types of photos and they were all beautiful in different ways. Atmospheric shots of the venue and decorations captured the details I'd worked so hard to plan (haha), the shots of us getting ready with our wedding party came out so sweet, the ceremony itself is captured the entire way through and we used one of those photos for our thank-you cards because we loved it so much. The group portrait shots with our family came out so well, with everyone looking fantastic (a difficult feat because we've got a huge family!) The action shots of speeches, and people's reactions, and dancing, were all priceless - and we ended up only taking a quick break for nighttime photos since we were having so much fun dancing, but the few that we did take were absolutely breathtaking. He turned the sneak peeks around so quickly - and the entire set sooner than we expected, too! Personality wise, you also couldn't ask for a nicer person to work with. Sean is so polite, kind and sweet - but he also makes sure to give little bits of direction here or there, to make sure you look your best. We loved working with him, and everyone kept saying how nice our photographer was. Thank you Sean!!! We'll cherish these photos for years to come!

Where do I begin? Sean is an amazing photographer. So responsive, professional, and talented. I am so glad I did an extend research looking for a photographer and ended up choosing him. From the engagement session I trusted him completely and that's the best feeling in the world. Believe me I had been to many weddings where the brides have to tell the photographer what to do because they ended up taking the same picture over and over. With Sean I knew I will love the result after, and in fact I did, more that I was expecting. Sean will capture your big day in a way that you don't even see it. He will find beauty in simple things and the result is just amazing. Please do not save money in photos and video, it ended up being the most beautiful memory you will have after a night that pass so fast. I am in love with my wedding pictures and the beautiful memories they represent to us thanks to the wonderful work Sean does.

As an amateur photographer myself, I spent way too much time deciding on a photographer. But it ended up being worth it as Sean was amazing. Our engagement photos with Sean confirmed this and the wedding photos were even better. Sean is a sweet guy and he is good at giving direction when needed. Together with Lenny, the second photographer and their assistant (whose name I am embarrassed to say I've forgotten) we ended up with tons of incredible photos and it is going to be a huge challenge deciding on which ones will make it into our fancy wedding album we ordered with them.

Technical note - Through our agreement with Sean, we have very high quality (10+ MB), high resolution jpegs of 200+ photos and 800+ photos from the engagement and wedding respectively, all of which Sean edited (brightness/contrast/levels/curves/color cast type editing). We can use / print these photos as we like (for non-commercial use). Stating this because some photographers do not give folks high quality digital files to keep.

My husband and I totally lucked out with Sean! Finding a photographer (or any vendor) online is a chore, especially while we were trying to plan a wedding in less than six months! Just seeing Sean’s work online, and corresponding with him only via email made me go with my gut instinct and book him. Out of all the vendors that we had to choose, a photographer was the most important to us…after all, a picture is worth a thousand words. My husband and I are very laid back, and didn’t want any dramatic or overly staged photos. Both my husband and I are camera shy, but Sean put us at ease, and before long, Sean was able to really capture us at our best. Not only was Sean talented and unobtrusive, he was patient, kind and a calming presence throughout a long and busy day. We just received all of our photos, and I am speechless. They are gorgeous, professional and honestly look like they belong in a magazine! Book Sean ASAP…you won’t be disappointed.

Sean and his team were phenomenal at our wedding. Even the guests noticed how great his team was, going above and beyond to get the perfect shot. A week after the wedding, guests still mention how dedicated the team was. Lenny stepped up and even put the boutonnieres on all of the guys when they didn't know how. We got our preview less than 24 hours after the wedding, and guests can't stop commenting on how gorgeous our photos are. We can't wait to display their work on the walls of our home! Can't recommend them more highly.

Sean is amazing!! Due to his talents, our engagement photos and wedding photos are phenomenal. He will provide you with just the right amount of guidance to get natural but spectacular photos. Sean and Lenny are amazing photographers! Our photos came out so beautiful and we get nothing but compliments every time we show them to someone. It was pouring the day of the wedding, but they used the rain to their advantage and were able to find beautiful places in the venue to take photos. We did not make their job easy, we had six children ages 5 and younger in the wedding party and Sean & Lenny worked with them so well. They got so many photos of ALL six children looking at the camera, something I thought was impossible. I highly recommend Sean Gallery for your wedding. Sean is amazing! Our wedding photos were extremely important to us and we did a ton of research to find the perfect photographer, and Sean was definitely it! Once we came across his work we were so blown away with his ability to capture such natural emotion while also playing off of the light and surroundings to give an artistic quality to the photos. We chose to do an engagement photo shoot which was our first time meeting with Sean and he made us feel so comfortable and at ease, nothing was too posed or forced, and the photos came out amazing with so many different shots and so much to choose from. From that moment we could not wait for our wedding on 9/17/16. Throughout the planning process Sean was so accommodating with my requests for certain family shots and adding a separate location for more photos. On the wedding day he captured such beautiful shots without us even noticing he was there. We even had preview photos ready within two days of the wedding (not just 1 or 2, there were like 70 preview photos) and every single photo is so special and breathtaking, its actually unbelievable. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Sean and his entire team, and I am so happy we chose them to capture our special day. Sean was the best decision that my husband and I made in choosing our wedding vendors. He was incredibly responsive throughout the whole wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, he was everywhere we needed him to be to capture every moment, but also, it never felt like he was in the way. I have heard that photography is so much about lighting, and Sean is extremely skilled when it comes to lighting. Many of our guests said that our wedding photos are the most beautiful they have ever seen, and that is so much because of Sean's ability to find/create the perfect lighting. Sean is also very kind, hard working, and seriously cares about his craft and making sure that he captures your day perfectly. I am so glad that we got to work with Sean. We also referred him to our best friends, who used him for their wedding a month after ours, and we were equally as impressed with him that night as well. We would recommend Sean a thousand times over.

Outstanding!! Sean, second photographer Mark, and assistant Will were fantastic for our big day! Leading up to the wedding, Sean was very responsive and professional. The day-of, they were very polite to the bridal party and guests. We could all tell they were creative and knew how to get the best photos out of the day, no matter what background or weather. Sean is a true professional who has a deep love for his craft. Between preparation meetings, an engagement shoot, and of course the biggest day of our lives, Sean was an expert at capturing all of these special moments that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. On the day of our wedding, we didn't even know he was there capturing so many wonderful moments, I swear he was like a ninja!

In what is seemingly becoming a larger sea of wedding photographers, we very decidedly relied on Sean. His professionalism, experience, and from my view, the composition of the photos and his technical abilities set him apart from the others we had considered. He was such a pleasure to work with, so funny and sweet, he quickly made us feel at ease- as we are both not big photo takers.

Sean is the absolute best. Not only is he an incredibly talented photographer, but he’s also just the nicest person and a pleasure to be around. We are so happy we chose him to document our special day!
As a designer, it was difficult for me at first to find a photographer whose photos I really loved. As soon as I saw Sean’s work, though, I couldn’t even look at anyone else’s. I loved the fact that he retouches every photo separately, and doesn’t apply a batch filter to every photo like most wedding photographers do.
We did an engagement shoot with Sean first and immediately knew we had to have him for our wedding. He has the most amazing eye for light and detail. You might think you’re standing in front of a simple field of tall grass and then you see the photo and realize that Sean has captured the light in such a magical way that every photo is a work of art. He captures just the right moments to make everything look very natural and not posed at all.
It’s so evident that he truly loves what he does. It really shows in his work.
On the day of the wedding, Sean arrived with his assistant Will early and ready to go. It was one of the hottest days of the year and he did a wonderful job keeping us in the shade while taking pictures before the wedding. Will was great and made us laugh so much. They had the best spirits all day and were always there to capture the right moments without ever even being noticeable. So many of our guests told us how much they loved our photographer.
We were able to see many teaser photos the morning right after our wedding! We were absolutely ecstatic to see them and loved every one of them.
He is very responsive to emails and was so helpful in planning our day, providing ideas for photo locations and schedules. He makes everything completely stress-free. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, working with Sean will be the best decision you’ve ever made.

We used Sean Gallery Photography for our wedding. He photographed our friends wedding and we fell in love with his photos. Unfortunately, we were late in the planning process and Sean had already been booked for a wedding that same day. He suggested a fellow photographer on his team, Lenny, who has very similar style as Sean. After our engagement photoshoot with Lenny, we were in awe of his talent and professionalism! At the wedding, he was great with us, the guests, and our bridal party. The teaser photos (that Lenny took and Sean edited) have brought us to tears. Sean is just the best! We hired him because he shot our friends' wedding and after looking through their photos, we knew we had to hire him! (My husband was also a groomsman in that wedding and was a fan of how Sean worked with them during their shoot). Sean brought his assistant Will to help with not only the lighting, but fixing my dress or helping me carry it at times. We did our first look photos outside, so Will was very helpful in making sure I didn't get my dress dirty. We added on one extra hour (9 hours total) of shooting so that Sean could capture some "getting ready" photos as well of my party and the groomsmen. He was very creative and his sense of humor put us all at ease (I know I at least get a little camera shy and feel a bit uncomfortable sometimes). Because the day was calling for rain, we purchased a bunch of fun umbrellas and Sean really ran with the idea and came up with some neat shots! You can tell he's a quick thinker and analyzes the landscape and lighting to make the perfect shot.

At our venue, there's a bridge over a highway that we really wanted to get a shot at at night. We asked Sean, and he was ecstatic to try it out! He and Will went out in the rain with us to take a time-lapse picture and it looks amazing!!! We haven't gotten all of our pictures back yet, but he sent us some "teasers" and that one was included. It's definitely going to be one to frame! (Btw, he said he was sending "a few" teasers--he gave us 40 just a day after our wedding!! We couldn't believe it!). We are so happy we hired Sean, he's so personable and an absolute professional. We simply cannot wait to see the rest of the photos!! You will not be disappointed if you hire him, we highly recommend Sean Gallery!

Sean is WONDERFUL. He is incredibly talented and such a wonderful person to work with. He was calm, sweet, creative, professional and organized on our wedding day. His team was there right on time, and took the most amazing pictures - and we barely knew he was there. He is so dedicated to getting the best pictures and did everything possible to get the perfect shots (including standing on a fountain ledge!) but it was all worth it! I was nervous about pictures being invasive, but Sean and his team made the pictures seamless and wonderful (and even fun!)

Not only that - Sean got us stunning photos "teasers" to see the next morning, less than 12 hours after the wedding. Unbelievable!! My friends and family cannot stop raving about the pictures, and my husband and I just cannot stop looking at them - they are truly art. I couldn't be happier :) Thank you Sean!!!

Sean was a photographer at my destination wedding in Mexico. He did an amazing job, the pictures are absolutely breath-taking and we’re extremely happy with the lifetime memory he provided to us. He worked really hard, and went out of his way to make sure he could capture all the moments. My guests even commented on how great and hardworking Sean was. He is very easy going, professional, makes you feel comfortable (not like a paparazzi with a camera in your face, which is what I usually see at weddings). I have been to over 30 weddings and no other photographer even came close to Sean.

I would give Sean 6 stars if I could! I got married in during the blizzard in NYC on January 23, and Sean arrived early and in great spirits despite the weather. He was so incredibly easy to work with - upbeat, professional, and accommodating. In addition to his photos being absolutely beautiful and artistic, he also returned us almost 100 edited photos the day after our wedding. I can't recommend Sean highly enough!

I found Sean through Captured on Canvas, whom I also booked for my wedding and highly recommend. I was drawn to his work because he posts many pictures from every wedding he shoots, not just the top 1 or 2 photos. I could tell from his website he captures every moment and takes classic portraits as well as gorgeous magazine style photos. We are so happy with our decision. He showed up right on time the day of the wedding with his assistant. He could tell I was nervous and worked with me to get me calm. After the first look, we ordered an Uber and drove around the city taking photos. After driving through Soho and determining it was too crowded to take photos, Sean took control and knew the perfect spot close by that would have the same cobblestone streets with no foot traffic. He was easy to work with the entire day and kept us on time so we wouldn't have to worry. The teaser photos we have seen our stunning. Facebook friends I hardly know have been commenting on how gorgeous and unique all of the photos are. From what we have seen, Sean did a wonderful job capturing the day. Not only is Sean very talented but is also very reasonably priced!

If I could give Sean 10 stars I would! He is insanely kind, sincere, professional, accommodating, reasonable, fast and SO SO SO talented. Bottom line: Sean is talented, reliable, and highly recommended!

Sean was one of the best decisions of our wedding! I think his creativity and quality shine through all his photos, but there is so much more to him which makes him incredible. He is a perfectionist, finds opportunities for money shots and just brings out the best of everyone. We loved that he was easy-going, but still provided enough direction to us and our wedding party to get a full spectrum of fun and formal shots. Another thing we enormously appreciated was that Sean was flexible and so easy to work with throughout the entire process. He even traveled and worked with us in in DC for our wedding and I never heard/worried about the details. And finally, about the photos! We were lucky enough to get amazing teasers from our engagement and wedding within days, the latter even before we arrived at our honeymoon destination. Sean is outstanding. He shot us at The Grove. My wife and I had booked another photographer and left a deposit, afterwards we attended a friends wedding where we first met Sean - as he was the photographer. We loved him and his work so much that we cancelled our first photographer, lost the deposit and hired Sean. We do not regret this as it was the best decision we had made in the planning of our wedding. Sean is a true professional and artist, he loves his craft and this shows in his work - He is not only a great photographer but a kind person to meet and work with during your planning - The memories he captured for us will be a special treasure for the rest of our lives. Sean is hands down AMAZING! His pictures are unreal. He captures so many candid moments, and to be honest I didnt even know he was there! I trusted him to pick the location for our first look and all of our photos at Fiddler's Elbow. He captures the sun and lighting so perfectly that so many of the pictures look angelic. He guided us throughout all of our photos and was a true pleasure to work with. My friend at work already booked him for her wedding after seeing our photos. He's the best! He is truly one of the most talented, artistic and kind individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I'm not big on writing reviews but when you see your wedding photos and people can't stop talking about them and some random wedding blog using one of your photos for their wedding list, you know that this person has a gift and you should share it with the world.
The photographer I booked cancelled a month before my wedding and when I thought all hope was lost, I found Sean and it was really the biggest blessing for our big day. When we viewed his work, we fall in LOVE and he was able to work with us so we were truly thankful.
We had the most beautiful day in the world and he got some of the most gorgeous shots of me getting ready, our bridal party, the church, our families and all the other little details that you want to capture.
Sean is very kind and very creative. He made us feel relaxed which is important to getting your best photos. We had fun and his clear direction helped us to get our best shoots. We have SO many photos that choosing just a 100 seems like a major task. We have it down to 150 and that wasn't easy. We had tons of wonderful photos that we spent days debating which will make our album. This is the kind of problem every couple should have!
It was an honor having Sean capture the best night and I hope another wonderful couple has this honor as well.

My husband and I spent a LOT of time looking for a really good photographer to hire for our wedding. Between his critical eye for quality and me being particular with the creativity / composition of pictures, we honestly thought we will never find someone that passes our criteria AND also fits our budget!

When we saw the works of Sean, we really thought he would cost an arm and a leg to hire (just judging by similar works and previous inquiries we've made). So when we found out about his rates, we booked him on the spot!!! We are so thankful to have found Sean!

He was very easy to work with! He even made shooting outdoors on a 30 degree-weather a piece of cake! I was worried that we won't get a lot of good picture outdoors but when I saw our outdoor pictures with the bridal party, I was amazed! You wouldn't think we were only outside for 30 minutes! Sean definitely made the most of it!!!

He is very creative with his shots as well! You would think you're posing for a particular frame but when you see the pictures come out, you would've never thought that's what he was going for! He provided the teasers 3 days after our wedding and EVERYONE said that our pictures were AMAZING!!

Lastly, my husband and I love taking pictures. He appreciates clear, crisp, quality pictures and I appreciate well-framed, creative pictures! We always get excited when we see a "good" picture we've taken. We saw that same excitement in Sean! You can tell from the quality of his craft and working with him that he is passionate about what he does! Sean is truly AWESOME and he has our highest recommendations!!!!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Sean!
After countless hours of photography research I found Sean through a Google search of another wedding he had photographed at our venue. I immediately loved the pictures and his creativity. I contacted him and he replied very quickly with more information about his services. Throughout the whole process he was very prompt about replying to all of my emails. After booking Sean and meeting him at our engagement shoot we knew we had made the right choice. He's very kind and informative. Having never had a professional photo shoot before we were surprised at how easy and comfortable it was. Even though the day was very windy, he still managed to take such beautiful pictures!
Leading up to our wedding Sean kept in touch and made sure to check if we had any special requests for specific shots that we wanted.
On our wedding day Sean arrived prepared and on time. He not only took the photos the we asked for but he also had great suggestions for some shots that turned out to be my favorite! He truly captured our wedding day perfectly and we couldn't be happier! He posted our teaser photos on Facebook the day after our wedding and we received all of our pictures on time! I HIGHLY recommend Sean to anyone who wants beautiful, one-of-a-kind wedding photos!!

Sean is an amazing photographer and wonderful to work with. We found him through a search on wedding wire and loved his photos. He was very professional when we met with him and answered any questions we had. He is also very prompt in responding to emails. Sean was fun to work with for our engagement photos and gave us the entire finished album within a day. Those photos turned out beautifully. We did our engagement shoot at a popular location and if you look at other albums in the same location, no two shoots are duplicated. Sean is very talented and has a great eye for details.

On our wedding day, he arrived on time and made sure to get all the pictures we wanted. He and the second photographer were patient with us as we set up for all the group photos. Teasers from our wedding were posted quickly. Sean really goes above and beyond to give you great photos. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

Words can not describe how grateful I am to Sean and his team for capturing our wedding day in such a beautiful way. Sean showed up right on time and was so excited to jump right in and start taking the getting ready pics. He is so warm and comforting that you just know everything is going to not only be okay but will turn out looking amazing as well. This was important when our limo broke down on the side

Sean is great. I had asked him to come to my house for consultation due to my father-in-law's health condition and he had no problem driving to me. He also has good communication. He will respond to most emails within the same day or by the next day. Sometimes within an hour, or even few minutes.
On the day of wedding I was running late for pre-ceremony session, but he did not panic and took great pictures. Some came out like magazine shots. Everyone was complimenting about how gorgeous my photos were. He speaks perfect English but he is a bilingual, so if you are a Korean-American who have Korean speaking guests, he will have great communication with them. Overall, very satisfied & will recommend whoever plans on getting married.

Sean came highly recommended from an industry contact and I can see why. He has an amazing eye for natural detail. He captures graceful lines, tender moments, and very beautiful yet candid shots. He is fun but not cheesy. He lets you be as creative as you want, but has some pretty creative ideas of his own. One of the reasons why I love him is because he uses very little filters or photoshop/color saturation, etc unless it's absolutely necessary. During our wedding, I saw him down in the grass, up on a garbage can, on the stage with the DJ and practically in a tree to get the perfect shot. Not to mention, there were several times where he put his hand on our shoulders and reassured us when things were getting stressful. After our engagement shoot and before our wedding, he was very organized and kept in regular communication. If there is ONE thing that you cannot sacrifice, it is the quality of your photographer. Sean Kim is hands down, one of our absolute favorite photographers of all time. A true artist to say the least. Could not be luckier to have him.

My wife and I could not be more satisfied with our decision to hire Sean Kim. He was incredibly accommodating, responsive and patient with my not so beautiful bridezilla moments. Our photos look like they cost 10x more than the actual cost. Sean's style is raw and photojournalistic without compromising the romanticism of your big day. My only regret is that we didn't have him around longer.
