LBI National Golf & Resort Reviews

We got married at LBI National Golf & Hotel in the Lighthouse Ballroom on December 6, 2025, and our entire wedding weekend was absolutely PERFECT! Our ceremony and reception were held in the Lighthouse Ballroom, cocktail hour and rehearsal dinner the night before were in the Garden Ballroom, and we hosted our after-party upstairs in the mezzanine. Every event flowed seamlessly, and everything was executed flawlessly.

The entire team at LBI National is truly incredible. Stephanie helped coordinate our wedding from the very beginning, including touring the venue. I was living internationally at the time, so my mom toured on my behalf first, and then Stephanie took us on another tour when I was back in town. She was exceptional - so kind, professional, and easy to work with, and her service and attitude were unmatched.

Stephanie connected us with Caitlin, our day-of coordinator, and she was invaluable. We began working with her in September, and she patiently answered my million questions, always with a smile and constant reassurance! She made me feel completely supported and played such an important role in making our day stress-free and special. We had five Christmas trees as decorations and Caitlin and the team disassembled them so we could pick them up the next day - they went above and beyond! She was truly the sweetest person to work with.

Jimmy at the front desk was also wonderful - always smiling, incredibly pleasant, and he greeted all of our guests with professionalism and warmth. Truly, every single team member made us feel so special and well taken care of!

The food was outstanding - our guests are still raving about it - and the team consistently made sure we, as the couple, were taken care of throughout the night. The venue itself is stunning, and the hotel is genuinely one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Our suite was spacious and perfect for getting ready the morning of the wedding.

We truly could not recommend LBI National Golf & Hotel enough. It was everything we hoped for and more!!

I am writing this review as a client and a guest of LBI National. I also write this review as a business owner (Shore Love Photography) - a colleague in the wedding industry to this establishment. I am beyond impressed with LBI National and would like to shed light on our experience below:

We just got married at LBI National last week. We had the best experience with the venue and staff. Stephanie (sales manager) will help make all of your wedding dreams come true. Over the last year we have been able to connect on a deeper level, personally and professionally. She was the calm to our storm when things felt stressful in the planning process. She comes with a great background in both weddings and events. You will be lucky to work with her if you book with LBI National.

Furthermore, we had a very hands on approach with Megan and Cait when it came down to day of coordinating. Meg and Cait were kind, patient, and they both had a creative edge when we needed it most in making decisions about decor and mapping out the perfect timeline for our day.

We were blown away with the Inn on property; a newly renovated, clean, sleek place for our bridal party and guests to stay for our wedding weekend. Each department had a hand in our celebration.

The guys went golfing the morning of our wedding and the staff in the pro shop were so friendly and accommodating. Cathy on the room block end of things made our guests and booking process so easy- she was also super reliable and quick to respond when we had questions. As for the food and banquet staff…Chef Andrew and the f&b team were so sweet! I loved connecting with Chef for the first time after our farewell brunch. He was the sweetest soul and this property will continue to thrive with him on board. Our guests were raving about how good the food was from the cocktail hour apps, to dinner, and the breakfast items at our farewell brunch on property the next day.

My husband and I spent the next day relaxing onsite and extended our stay at the inn on property. Chef prepared us a meal the next night, short rib and rib eye. It was so delicious. Chef Andrew is a staple to this property and we look forward to coming back for future visits to dine under his leadership!

Other mentions, Carmen the GM, thank you for bending for us. I know it was a busy weekend for LBI but you all made our dreams come true. Craig and Vinnie at the bar- they are awesome too!! Olivia at front desk, such a cutie and so welcoming. We really had the best time and we are so thankful that we decided on LBI National for our wedding celebration. We will be recommending this property in years to come! Thanks again to every staff member from front desk’s to cart girls, house keeping, banquet staff, etc. You all got the A++ from our crew. See you all again soon!

Recently I hosted my friends bridal shower at Sea Oaks and had a wonderful experience. The Banquet Manager, Lori, was accommodating and responsive. She looked into any ideas I had and was a true pleasure to work with. I was impressed with the food and for days following the event was telling friends and family we will have to visit Sea Oaks more frequently for events, dinners and luncheons. Overall I was highly satisfied with our experience. Easiest venue/vendor I have ever worked with.

Beautiful venue and the staff was amazing! They helped us through the whole day and very attentive to our needs. Would definitely recommend this venue!

Sweet 16 package was well the money. Only issue we had was no coffee/tea was offered with cake and we had a lot of tired adults lol.

We had a breakfast meeting for our company and everyone was so accommodating. Lori and Maria were great to work with and the food was amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better venue to have our meeting.

Hosted a bridal shower here for my best friend after someone recommended it to me. The venue was beautiful, event staff was wonderful and the cost was very reasonable ! Several packages to choose from. Lori and Maria were so helpful and made the whole planning process very simple. The food was great and so many guests raved about it. We were able to use the beautiful garden area directly outside the shower room to take some photos. I’ll be recommending it to family and friends and I would most definitely host another event with them in the future!

Every detail of the event was handled both professionally and with great attention by all staff members at Sea Oaks....and such a beautiful facility!

staff works extremely well with people... didn't have to worry about anything from the moment I walked in!!... the bakery cake plate was tossed, which I needed back.. -- I would recommend letting them know a head of time...

Research all other similar venues for price and quality of the room (and view) where your event will be held. Then choose Sea Oaks.

Excellent value. We searched all over and fell in love with this venue. We loved the catering and service staff. They went the extra mile for our special day!

Sea oaks did such a great job for my wedding reception. Everything was set up the way we wanted it and we had fantastic service throughout the night. They went above and beyond to make us happy and things ran smoothly.

I couldn't have imagined that everything would be so perfect. Everything was perfect, the food, the venue, the staff. Janet is amazing she made sure every wish and desire was granted. They do an amazing job to make your perfect day just that. If I did it again I wouldnt do it anywhere else.

We had our Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception at Sea Oaks Country Club on October 9, 2011 and it could not have been better - it was excellent!

Sea Oaks is the perfect venue for any Wedding - beautiful grounds, beautiful Country Club (interior & exterior) and their Wedding packages are very affordable. The entire Staff at Sea Oaks was wonderful and was extremely caring and helpful during and throughout our entire event!

We had such an excellent time at Sea Oaks that we wish we could do it over and over again! The atmosphere is awesome, the food - wow, the food is just incredible and they are extremely accommodating as well.

All we heard throughout our entire event from our Guests was praise after praise of how well everything turned out, how great the food was, how great the staff was and how nice the venue was!! Even after we came back from our Honeymoon and present day, we still hear from all of our guests who attended how they had the best time at Sea Oaks!

Sea Oaks also offers a complimentary room to the Bride and Groom at their Sea Oaks Inn (which is only a hop, skip & jump across from the Sea Oaks Country Club) - so the Bride and Groom have NO worries at all! The Staff at the Sea Oaks Inn were also great and the room was excellent as well! This is also good to know for anyone planning a Wedding at Sea Oaks, this way if you have Guests who may not be able to drive after your event, they can just walk across the parking lot to the Inn, book a room and have a safe night!

Sea Oaks is a spectacular place to have a Wedding and they make you feel really invited, are extremely caring and help out with EVERYTHING, from setting up your reception area, to making sure that the Bride & Groom are ok, as well as all of the Guests. We shopped around looking and price comparing other venues before choosing Sea Oaks. After going to Sea Oaks and reviewing everything they had to offer - they were OUR NUMBER 1 CHOICE! Their wedding packages cannot be beat for the amount of food, services, reception room choices and the overall experience they offer. Plus, they can accommodate the entire event such as Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception if you're looking for a venue to have the entire event at, instead of having to have guests drive from location to location. There are also multiple places on the Sea Oaks grounds (and inside the Country Club) to get great photographs for your special day!

We would recommend Sea Oaks to anyone seeking an awesome venue for their Wedding or other Special Day!

Sea Oaks was a pleasure to work with. Anything we needed they were flexible and responsive with. The atmosphere was absolutley wonderful! The FOOD is oustanding!!! I hope I have the oppurtunity to go to a wedding there as a guest because I dont feel like I was able to enjoy the cocktail hour as much as I would have loved being the Bride!

We highly recommend them and the Inn was equally as accomadating. Rebecca and Chef Lou rock!

Sea Oaks is just great! The food is just absolutely amazing, and in my Italian family, that was definitely an important factor! They give you so much for your money, and every guest I've spoken to said that it was the best wedding they've ever been to! They are available for your concerns any day of the week, and Rebecca and her staff were just wonderful! Another plus is the on-site inn -- very nice place and convenient for those guests who need somewhere to stay after a long night of fun!

Sea Oaks is a fantastic venue for a wedding reception. Great views of Atlantic City and Barnegat Lighthouse. They accomodated all of our requests. You have plenty of room inside and outside on their patios (we had 200 guests). Perfect if you are looking for a venue that also provides a place to stay overnight. Their new Inn was beautifully decorated and only a short walk from the club house. If you are looking for a ballroom that has beautiful views of the outdoors and plenty of natural light...sea oaks is your place.

Everything about Sea Oaks was exceptional. Not one single complaint!

Everything about planning our wedding at Sea Oaks was made so easy. Rebecca and her team there were always helpful and very responsive. Our wedding day, everything was more beautiful than I ever imagined. Although my husband and I didn't get to eat all that much -- we were told the food was fabulous ... and the extensive cocktail hour was fabulous. Nothing but good things to say about Sea Oaks!

Booked the second floor venue for my daughter's baby shower and overall it was a wonderful day. Food was delicious, Janet, head server, and other servers were very efficient and helpful. Received numerous compliments on food. The strawberry cake was so good!! Lori always answered my questions and concerns in a timely fashion. Bottles of wine were overpriced.

We had our wedding at Sea Oaks this year, and everything was fantastic. Our guests could not stop talking about how good the food was, even two months later! The place was gorgeous and they were so easy going and willing to go out of their way to make our day special (they even got us blue cherries for a special martini we requested!) I would HIGHLY reccomend using Sea Oaks for your wedding!

Had an amazing wedding this past weekend!! Food was delicious, bar was on point and service was fantastic!!! Highly recommend!!!

I can't begin to tell you how happy we are with choosing Sea Oaks for our wedding venue (ceremony and reception). We chose this place for 1) It's seclusion from any main roads 2) The gorgeous balcony overlooking the golf course 3) The flood of light and view that comes in through the windows of the reception room 4) The on-site Inn that is right across the street that we completely booked for the night of the wedding and 5) For the amazing value that came with their packages. We got even more than what we expected - we heard nothing but rave reviews of the food for weeks! I am a vegetarian that eats fish and my husband is a meat eater all the way - Sea Oaks was more than able to please everyone! Sea Oaks made me feel like the most important person in the world on our wedding day and were so accommodating - I couldn't ask for anything more.

Rebecca at Sea Oaks was always available to my questions and phone calls. The venue is gorgeous.

Sea Oaks has been very professional and supportive in planning our special day!

Sea Oaks and Rebecca was great. They made everything easy, fun, and stress free. Anything we wanted or needed, they made sure we had.

My husband and I feel mixed about our Sea Oaks experience. On one hand, we had a beautiful wedding and delicious food at a great price. On the other hand, it felt like on the management side, we were passed around from person to person and nobody ever fully knew what was going on with our day. We were told we could put all of our decorations in one closet until the wedding and that they would not be touched or moved. We loaded all of our things into the closet, and then what do you know?!!! We came in the next day, and the closet had been emptied. I almost had a heart attack. We found them, but only after talking to several people and fumbling around looking for keys to this locked office. Then, we were told we could come in the day before to decorate our cake, and the cooking staff had no idea we were coming in or whether our cake had come in yet. It had, and we were allowed to decorate it, but just the lack of anyone knowing anything about the wedding was frustrating. Then, ON OUR WEDDING DAY, my husband was the one who set up all of the decorations. Admittedly, the staff said they weren't going to set up until 9 am (it was a brunch wedding and the wedding started at 10:30), but we wanted all the photographs to be done by then. So in lieu of stressing over whether it was all set up or not during our formal pictures, he just set them up himself. I won't say they did a bad job, but it wasn't quite ideal. Again, it was partly because we had a brunch wedding the day after New Years, but I feel like they could have been a little more accommodating. None of the guests knew about the behind the scenes stresses on the wedding day, but we sure did!

First off, the venue is stunning and the food is delicious. Our wedding was exactly what we envisioned and we've gotten endless compliments on the food, which is probably one of the most important things in selecting a venue. Janet is absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from setting up products the rental company forgot to assemble to making sure my nephew got a slice of cake before he had to leave for bedtime. The entire banquet staff was professional and efficient.

That said, while the day itself was perfect, don't have high expectations of being actively welcomed into the Sea Oaks family upon signing a contract, or that the staff will be proactive in reaching out to discuss planning, timelines or details. They have a self-described "hands off" approach and if it wasn't for the reaching out we did on our own, we probably wouldn't have heard from them at all--not even with a payment reminder. As long as you're organized and read over everything carefully on your own, and don't mind the hands off approach during the planning stages, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Sea Oaks was very nice and our wedding was beautiful. The following were a few things that could of been better but not the end of the world.... No AC at the cocktail hour on the hottest day of the year! One tiny fan was offered for 80 people. We selected lamb chops as a choice during the cocktail hour and only 1 or 2 trays were served at the very end of the hour. We specifically asked for the every layer of the cake to be served and didn't happen.
Otherwise they were reasonably priced and the food was great.

We had a wedding / anniversary party at the Sea Oaks Country Club. I do not recommend them for the following reasons:

- We were told taking home leftovers was against the law, then against company policy, then a liability, then it was up to the banquet captain, then we could have leftover food. Kathy and Debbie got snippy when we asked them to explain the discrepancies. Debbie said it was covered in the contract but we couldn’t find it and she became unresponsive when we asked her to point out where.

- There were many quality issues—a piece of plastic found in the food by a guest, missing ceiling tiles in the party room, old and dirty balloon ribbons hanging from the backs of chairs, neighboring rooms open and in disarray, etc.

- A guest saw a waiter licking his fingers clean after getting food on his hand. Debbie said, “Oh him? He’s new.”

- Debbie promised a voice sound system (which was in the contract) but at our party we were told that a woman from the previous event accidentally took Sea Oaks Country Club’s only microphone home with her. “I can’t believe that,” a waiter told me. Later, Debbie said, “I don’t know why they didn’t check into that.”

Sea Oaks often blamed “them” and was surprised by “their” ineptitude but “they” were never around to take responsibility. One thing Sea Oaks was really good at was saying, “Let me talk to someone and get back to you...” Then they ignore you.
