Amazing cake

Sarah's cakes was recommended to us from a friend. They were great to work with in the planning phase. The cake was delivered on time. The cake looked amazing and tasted even better. We could not have been more pleased with their service or the quality of the cake.

Sarah’s is the perfect place to get the cake of your dreams. From the first email to the day of the wedding, they listen to what you want and make it come true. There are so many dessert options and flavors to choose from. You will not be disappointed. What’s even better is that for your first anniversary they will make the top tier fresh for you! The cake tasting process was so fun and we talked about the option that would work best for our big day. I also wanted to surprise my to-be husband with a Chick-Fil-a groom cake and it was everything I dreamed and more. There are so many different options besides just cake. Sarah’s meets your needs and creates the perfect cake that you will remember forever.

Sarah’s was amazing! Very accommodating and flexible with our cake design and flavors. There was anything they couldn’t help us with or do for us. Our guests absolutely loved the cake! My husband and I actually didn’t even get to eat any of it because of the craziness of the night but we are looking forward to trying it on our one year when Sarah’s makes us a fresh cake! We had so many compliments about how good it was!

Yummy cakes!

Sarah's cake shop was simply amazing. The cake tasted perfect and looked amazing, and even the leftover cake is still delicious. Our family and friends loved the cake and told us as much the next day. One of the things that hooked us was the buttercream was much lighter than regular buttercream making the cake not so heavy.

Best Cake Ever

We tried countless bakeries for our wedding and when we discovered Sarah's Cake Shop, our search was over! This was such an easy planning process and their cake tastes AMAZING! They have so many flavors of cake and icing. The cake turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. They even make a replica top of the cake for your one year anniversary! We will definitely be using Sarah's again in the future!

As a person with a major sweet tooth, I could not be happier with Sarah’s Cake Shop. Everything from setting up tasting appointments to the day of delivery was easy, fast, and stress free. For our wedding we ordered a small 2 tiered cake and 200 cupcakes for our guests. Sarah’s Cake Shop was able to recreate the cake from a photo off of Pinterest. Everyone loved the cupcakes as well. Everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Thanks Sarah’s Cake Shop!

Sarah’s was great! The cake looked exactly like I wanted and expected. I can also say that this cake tastes amazing. All of our guests loved the cake. Sarah’s will also give you a cake on your first anniversary so you don’t have to eat an old frozen one!

Working with Sarah was outstanding. She took all of the thoughts and ideas and helped pin them down into the perfect cake for our wedding day. She communicated what was acheivable based on talking with the cake decorator and conveyed everything to us. And the taste of the cake was incomparable! We ended up with 4 flavors at our wedding because we couldn't choose. They are all delicious!!!
I also got a groom's cake for my husband as a surprise and they made the cake even better than I could have pictured in my head! And kept it a surprise from him until the wedding day!!

We only wanted a small decorative cake to cut into because of other desserts being made by our families. Unlike other cake shops, Sarah's didn't press us to order a larger cake than we wanted. They are also flexible on their flavors, we requested a buttercream flavor they didn't normally do but they were happy to accommodate us! My only regret is that I didn't have our caterers keep a few pieces of the cake back for my husband and I; it was all gone before we came back to the dessert table! Thankfully, they also provide a complimentary 6" round cake for your first anniversary so we'll get to have some then (and IMO that's so much better than eating the stale top layer a year afterwords)!

Simply delicious!
Having an amazing cake was important to us. We attended quite a few wedding shows during the planning period at one of the shows a vendor had Sarah's glitter bites as a thanks for stopping by, as soon as we ate that we fell in love. We have since visited Sarah's Cake shop a few times and everything there is delicious. We wanted to make sure we had the best at our wedding and we went to a lot of St. Louis bakeries for cake tastings and no one could beat Sarah's cake shop. The cakes are moist and flavorful, the icing is so good, not too sweet and just leave you wanting more(alot of times I can't eat the icing, it's just too much but not with Sarah's!) Their styles range from simple top over the top fancy. We opted for simple and couldn't have been happier. We had a 3 tier cake 2 tiers were almond and 1 tier was Vanilla cake and icing with a cream cheese center. Sarah's made the cakes so that you couldn't tell the different flavors so that people weren't taking extra pieces which we wanted so we could have a bit of left overs.
We also had glitter bites as favors and everyone is still raving over them!
Thanks also to Sarah who helped us with our tasting and decisions making. Sarah you made it so easy!

Sarah's Cake shop did a beautiful job on our cake! From our custom created tier to turning my favorite snack cake cupcake they sell into a tier of our cake, they went above and beyond our expectations! Everybody was raving about the cake! This is a business that we will gladly continue to do business with in the future.

Oh My Delicious!!!! We could not have been happier with our wedding cake experience with Sarah's. From the tasting to the real deal at the reception; everything regarding our cake was flawless.

We were on the hunt for a non-fondant bakery for our wedding cake. We tasted cakes from 4 different bakeries and not only was Sarah's the best, taste wise, it was also the best price wise as well! We wanted a simply iced, 3-tier cake to which we would add florals and what was delivered was exactly what I had envisioned. We opted for two flavors (one for the actual tiered cake and one for the "kitchen cake"). We went with the traditional white wedding cake - which was outstanding, as well as a chocolate cake with a raspberry buttercream - it was decadently delicious! We were so impressed by the "Kitchen Cakes" from Sarah's - they were multiple layered cakes that, when sliced, truly look as though they were cut from the big cake.

We have had multiple guests compliment our wedding cake. We did end up with leftovers (which was totally our fault due to anticipating a larger guest count) however, it ended up being a happy accident because we got to enjoy or wedding cake over and over until it was all gone. Sarah's Cake Shop has gained a new loyal customer in me. beautifully decorated desserts, delicious cake, and wonderful customer service. Thanks Sarah's!!!

Sara was great to work with. We loved the tasting to select the cupcake flavors. THe wedding cake was vanilla bean with vanilla buttercream --Amazing!! the grooms cake was an 8 layer chocolate with cookies and cream and vanilla buttercream covered in fondant to appear as a beer can--Awesome job!! The eight flavors of cupcakes made it hard for anyone to have a favorite. Glad we had leftovers !!

My wife knew she wanted Sarah's for our wedding cake before we even got engaged. She had tried Sarah's everyday wedding cake from their food truck and was instantly hooked. So, I wanted to see for myself and bought a slice...she was right, it's incredible. We booked with Sarah's on the spot, proceeded to enjoy their incredible tastings, worked with Heather and her extensive experience in designing our wedding cake and viola! Our wedding cake was absolutely amazing, as was the staff at Sarah's. Their cake speaks for itself, and we would highly recommend them!

We used Sarah's and were super pleased. We had a wedding cake (vanilla/vanilla, each slice was 4 layers), and kitchen cake (chocolate/vanilla, each slice was 3 layers). This cut way down on price. The cake tasted amazing, they were super easy to work with. Highly recommend!

My first experience with Sarah's was their cupcake truck. I'd never heard of them and was newly engaged so I bought a cupcake and their "everyday wedding cake". It was amazing! So...I went out to their website and here to see if they did weddings and sure enough, they do.

A couple tastings later, we hadn't found anyone we liked better. What sold me is the buttercream frosting. Anyone can make a good cake but not everyone has good frosting. Being a baker myself, I wasn't about to serve anything at our wedding that wasn't as good or better than something I could make myself. Sarah's was the only one I found that met that requirement! I even passed up a 10% discount and free delivery from our venue's preferred vendor to have them. If that doesn't speak for the quality of their cake, I don't know what else will.

They were so accommodating, I can't count the number of times I changed our cake order before finally settling on the final product and paying. Every time, Heather was so nice and understanding...whether it was coming up with a design change to eliminate fondant or changing the order after our RSVP's came in.

The day we picked up our 3 tiered cake, they had it boxed in such a way that it wouldn't move or touch the sides and ruin the frosting. It arrived in perfect condition. And...to say our guests were raving about the cake is an understatement. If you haven't chosen your cake yet, give them a try! You won't regret it.

My husband wanted to give Sarah's 50 stars but the ratings don't go that high. We had a gorgeous cake, mini cupcakes and glitter balls. We are glad we ordered more than we thought we needed b/c at the end of the night there were 6 lonely little cupcakes left. So yummy!!!

Sarah’s Cake Shop is amazing!! We worked with Michael to put together a mini dessert bar for my October wedding and you wouldn’t believe how many compliments we got from our guests. Michael was great to work with and helped us through the process so we could get a good assortment and the right amount. The display at the wedding was gorgeous also! I would recommend Sarah’s to anyone for any event or even just for a quick treat for yourself. Absolutely delicious desserts!

Michael at Sarah's Cake Shop is wonderful to work with. Instead of the traditional wedding cake, my husband and I went with Cupcakes (our FAVORITE from Sarah's) and Glitter Bites. The cupcakes were delivered on time and so delicious! The design on them was exactly what we had specified and the color matched perfectly with the other decorations in the room.

I am a lifelong customer of Sarah's Cake Shop! :-)

If you want your cake to be a hit at your wedding pick Sarah's Cake Shop! Everyone was raving about the cupcakes at our wedding. The Glitter Balls were even a bigger hit. If you haven't tried them...it is a must! They were so easy to work with. We went to the shop picked 6 flavors out of the 40+ flavors for the taste testing. Best experience in getting married by far! They were all delicious...Lemon Bear being the best. We couldn't afford a cake to do the "cake-cutting" so they made us a jumbo cupcake of our favorite flavor. They worked with my venue so I didn't have to worry about set-up or delivery. The prices were reasonable and the flavor is spot on. All my guests couldn't wait to find the food truck to try more flavors. I recommend Sarah's Cake Shop to any new bride!

My son turned 16 while we were in town from Ohio for the HS National Hockey Tournament and I wanted to get a cake from a local company. I emailed Sarah's and got an immediate response from a very helpful salesperson. Together, she and I Googled our team name and went through the logos online until we found the one I wanted to use.
You never know what you are going to get when you've never been somewhere before, but when I brought the cake into our hotel and the staff said 'ohhhhh you went to Sarah's!' I knew it was going to be good!

The cake was beautifully decorated, the logo perfect and people RAVED about your buttercream! Thank you so much for being a delicious part of my son's big birthday.

Our wedding cake from Sarah's Cake Shop was wonderful! When we met with them, they helped us design our ideal cake. They were even able to match a band of color to the color of our bridesmaids dresses. Not only did it look great, but it was DELICIOUS! Their buttercream icing is so yummy, and the almond cake we chose was the perfect crowd-pleasing flavor.

Sarah's recently did our wedding cake. It was not only gorgeous, by incredibly delicious! My favorite tier was the almond cake with the raspberry filling! Yum! We received nothing but compliments! I will definitely be back!!

Book Sarah's Cake Shop, do it! They created a fantastic dessert table and three cakes for our DOUBLE wedding, and everything was not only beautiful beyond my wildest dreams, but delicious too! This cake was beautiful! It was more stunning than I ever expected. The cake was moist and the unique flavors were awesome! Everyone raved about the cake and were sharing different flavors so they could try them all. Wedding cake is often dry but this was so moist and still moist for breakfast the next day!

Sarah's Cake Shop made my wedding cake and it was amazing!!! My cake had 4 tiers and 3 of the tiers were all different flavors. They were extremely wonderful to work. The flavor of the cake was exceptional and we received so many compliments on the look and flavor of our wedding cake.

Sarah's Cake Shop made my wedding cake and everything was perfect!! I had visited a couple of different bakeries in the area and they all told me there was going to be an upcharge for the design I wanted. Erica at Sarah's Cake Shop told me that it would be no problem to make my cake! All of their cakes were so moist and delicious that I couldn't decide what to have! We had almond cake with raspberry filling and also had a pumpkin cake with cream cheese filling, which all of the guests were raving about! The presentation at the initial cake tastings was darling and impressive as well. I knew immediately I wanted to work with them. I appreciated that they were honest and told me not to order enough cake for each guest because usually it doesn't all get eaten. I couldn't believe how competitive their prices were - I honestly would have paid much more for the product I received! And their butter cream frosting is delicious!!! I hate the kind you usually get at the grocery store that's a little gritty. Theirs is unlike any I've ever had before. I have and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family for weddings and all other events!!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I'm a sweets fanatic, so having a great cake was probably much higher on my priority list than most people. Not only are the desserts unbelievably tasty (I've been a guest at a wedding that Sarah's did the desserts for, and all the guests were raving about the cake), but Erica Seibels was great to work with. We did a dessert bar, and she totally got what we were going for, both the look of the bar and the look of the cutting cake. The dessert bar looked and tasted amazing, and the price was shockingly reasonable. We're really glad we found this place. Love love love.

Our cake was beautiful and custom designed! Our cake had all of our wedding colors incorporated into it, and was on time and set up appropriately. WOW we were so happy with our experience using Sarah's! We got a small layered cake for the traditional cutting and 2 different kinds of cupcakes for our guests. Everyone raved about the taste and the goodies looked beautiful. All the girls at Sarah's were so easy to work with- we had to plan our wedding while living in NYC and it was never complicated to place our order, pay, make special requests, etc. There were no surprises working with Sarah's and I found the prices to be incredibly fair for the quality of cake and service provided. They even gave us boxes to pack up extra cupcakes for us to take home, which was also great as we had guests who had to leave early but didn't have to miss out on dessert.

Sarah's Cake Shop made our wedding cake and did a dessert bar for our reception. We had the almond cake with raspberry jam filling and buttercream icing. I thought the cake looked phenomenal. I thought they did a great job capturing what we were going for. As my wife and I went around to visit different tables everyone was talking about how great the cake was and asking where we got it. It was definitely a hit. I've been to a lot of weddings and never heard so much chatter about the cake. But I agreed. The cake was so good. Luckily we ordered more than we needed. We just got back from our honeymoon a few days ago and I took the extra (excluding the part we save for a year) out of the freezer and have been eating it everyday. My wife keeps yelling at me to stop eating the leftover cake, but I can't!! The desserts at the bar were also VERY good. We are so glad we used Sarah's Cake Shop, Thanks!!

We used Sarah's Cake Shop for our wedding cake, and we were thrilled! The cake was gorgeous and even better yet was delicious! We keep talking about how delicious it was! One of our guests wants the same cake and fillings for his birthday, as do we, and our Pastor said it's the best cake he remembers having, and he's a wedding expert:)! Numerous guests said how great it was. We got the vanilla bean cake with raspberry buttercream and lemon buttercream fillings. It was moist, light, not too sweet, and perfection!!! I'm what people call an overperfectionist - everything HAS to be perfect. The cake was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, and it was the most DELICIOUS cake I have ever tasted! My husband and I didn't agree much when it came to cake shops, but after a tasting with Sarah's Cake Shop and seeing many of the wedding cakes they have done in the past, we wanted to have them as our cake vendor. The result was one incredibly beautiful 3-tier off-white, very detailed, eye-catching, gorgeous wedding cake that not only tasted great but also ended up in so many pictures and so many compliments. I can't say enough how much we LOVED working with Sarah's. Not only was the design process a pleasure, but the cake was simply divine. Literally, it was one of the first things guests mentioned and relatives were clammering for left overs the next day. We have used Sarah's previously for showers, birthdays, or just a one-off treat and have always been completely satisfied. I never would have thought it was possible, but they completely outdid themselves for our special day!

I am so happy to have worked with SARAH’S CAKE SHOP!!! THE BEST bakery in all of St. Louis City and County!!! I have to admit that I approached another bakery, Sugaree Bakery in Dogtown, first. It was a recommend from a friend. I have never talked to a ruder owner than there. I was very disappointed about her treatment of me wanting to work with her so I told her I would go somewhere else after she told me that she might be too busy to do my cake and I couldn’t have what I wanted. What a terrible place to have such a special item made for you. So I did move on! I used SARAH’S CAKE SHOP which was one of my top picks. Working with SARAH'S was a dream! Everyone there was kind and helpful and happy to do what I wanted. And the end result, my wedding cake was fantastic and memorable!!! I was so pleased with the cake and also the groom’s men cupcakes that I will only use SARAH'S for any event in my future! DON’T WASTE TIME, go to THE BEST and use SARAH’S CAKE SHOP in Chesterfield. I fell in love with Sarah's cake truck when I worked downtown at the Metropolitan Building. I was determined to have those cupcakes at our wedding. We purchased approximately approximately 275 cupcakes (10 dozen, plus a few dozen child cupcakes) for our wedding. While it was kind of on the expensive side (almost 800 bucks including tax, delivery and setup), everyone raved about the cupcakes! We didn't need that many, though, but luckily I was able to donate the remainder of the cupcakes to an organization I volunteer with.

We used Sarah's Cake Shop for our bride's cake, and it was AMAZING! Starting with the tasting, we knew this was the baker for us. They gave us four giant samples - mini-cakes, really - that were all delicious. We chose a white cake with buttercream frosting, and a lemon filling studded with fresh blueberries. It was the best wedding cake I have ever had, and I don't just say that because it was mine! The design was absolutely beautiful - I have them a photo of what I wanted, and it came out just right. I definitely recommend them, and will be a returning customer!

We can't say enough about Sarah's Cafe - they were amazing to work with. They are completely flexible, upbeat and willing to please. The staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile. This was one of the highlights of our entire reception-planning experiences. It was so easy to decide we wanted Sarah's Cafe to make our cake once we went and tried their samples. We tried many other cake makers in the St. Louis area (the usual McAuther's, Federhoffer's, and several others) and Sarah's Cafe was HANDS DOWN the best. The assistant we had helping us design the cake was so very personable and very easy to talk to, no pressure like many other places we went to. And needless to say the cake tasted amazing (clearly the best out of a whole string of weddings we went to around the time of ours), and the value couldnt be beaten. Sarah's Cafe also has AMAZING food if you want to go to dinner there some week nights!!!!!!!!!!! We highly recommend this vendor for your wedding!

My wife and I hired Sarah's Cake Shop to design and bake a cake for our April 2014 wedding. As a surprise, my wife also had Sarah's make a groom's cake designed in the shape of a childhood toy of mine. It turned out fantastic. The staff is attentive, professional, creative, detail oriented, and responsive. My wife and I met with a number of other bakers in the St. Louis area but were ultimately impressed by the quality of the cake, the creative design capabilities, and the professional nature of the staff. we were able to incorporate a custom flourish, which we used throughout our wedding including stationary and the aisle runner, onto our cake! The overall design was wonderful and the flavor was fantastic! We had a four tier cake with alternating red velvet and traditional almond flavor. Our friends and family fell in love with the taste of the cake. Also, on the one year anniversary of your wedding, Sarah's will bake you a fresh top tier of your cake so that you don't have to worry about freezing the cake from your wedding and can serve your top tier on your wedding day. Sarah's provides this service complimentary with the purchase of your wedding cake. Sarah's has a number of options and designs that will suite any taste, and they have fun creative flavors, as well as traditional favorites. I would highly recommend Sarah's for any bakery needs!

YUM! By far the best wedding cake I have ever tasted! We received so many compliments our on cake and the guests just devoured each piece. There are so many different flavors that we had a hard time choosing! We finally decided on traditional wedding cake, raspberry filling and buttercream filling with chocolate ganache....each was amazing! The cake not only tasted great but looked beautiful as well. The fondant ribbon was the exact color we wanted (based on a ribbon color swatch). A little pricey but worth every penny.....and ask about sheet cake options. They look exactly like the slices from your wedding cake (most sheet cakes look different - like store bought) but are quite a bit cheaper.

Our cake was both delicious and beautiful! Just what we wanted! Our guests loved the chocolate cake with ooey-gooey buttery frosting! We will be back for future occasions! They did a great job! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our wedding cake turned out great and they executed what we envisioned and designed together. The weather was so hot when they worked on our cake that the sugar flower we ordered could not be used, but the owner went out of her way to buy real flowers as replacement. Their cake is so moist and the filling so flavorful without being overly sugary. Our guests complimented us on the cake. Their only shortfall was communication and they're almost always too busy when we're in the shop.

We ordered a cake for 160 people and it turned out beautiful and tasted great. The two taste combinations were marble cake with chocolate mousse and vanilla cake with jam and vanilla buttercream. Both were fresh and tasty and received so many compliments. The buttercream frosting is really light and amazing! We originally wanted whipped cream as a frosting, because of its light texture, but the buttercream was not a disappointment. Our first consultation took a while to book, because the wedding coordinator is hard to get a hold of, but if you are planning way ahead and are not pressed for time, this should not be a problem.

We visited Sarah's Cake Shop about 10 months before our wedding to do a cake tasting. We opted for the $15 tasting where we could pick 4 flavors and fillings to try. The woman who helped us (who is no longer employed there) was not very friendly. She even made a rude comment about how much cake we ate when we were there! Also, she failed to deduct the tasting charge from the invoice she sent after telling us it would be taken off the final balance (though she did correct it when I emailed to ask). It wasn't a terrible experience, but it could have been more enjoyable. That being said, the cake on the wedding day was absolutely perfect. It was beautiful and tasted even better than I had remembered.

I am planning a very nice dessert table display. Sarah's Cake Shop is going to take my display to the next level of fabulousness! These treats are delicious, and i can't wait to share them with my guests...

What a huge disappointment! Initially Sarah's was great to work with and their products are very tasty, however their level of professionalism and lack of customer service is seriously lacking. My daughter's wedding cake & deserts were delivered an hour late to the venue. When the driver arrived she was rude to wedding coordinator & caterer & demanded a spatula. When the florist, who had been waiting 45 minutes for cake, asked her what happened the driver said she had to slam on the brakes & cake shifted & she was not able to shift it back. The florist told her that she would cover the damage with greenery but that she should let me know. I only knew because florist & caterer told me, Sarah's never notified me that there was damage. When I called Sarah's to let them know what had happened they offered no apology & denied that cake was delivered late or damaged. They proceeded to infer that I was lying about the incident & when I told them that I felt it was important they know they told me that they would have to investigate my complaint!!!?? All I really wanted was an apology & they never did do that, however when I emailed the owner they decided they would refund the delivery fee! Huge disappointment, could have been handled so much better. It doesn't matter how good everything tastes when you treat your customers poorly.
