My sisters wedding

My sister used him as the photographer for her engagement shoot and wedding! The pictures are absolutely beautiful, capturing every laugh and every cry. So happy to have the lovely memories. Such a fantastic job.

Saks was the first photographer we met with and after we left that first meeting with the owner Ron , we knew he was the one to capture our moments on our wedding day. He was super easy to work with and always responded quickly. Ron was accommodating to our crazy schedules. Ron was amazing on our wedding day, professional , courteous and he capture our day beautifully. The album and canvas prints were beyond our expectations!!!! Thanks Ron for making the day come to life , memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Sept Wedding

We recently hired Saks Photography for our daughter's wedding. The attention to detail was amazing. Tara was very professional and on point! She efficiently coordinated all the family pictures we wanted within a tight timeframe without any issue! She and her team were attentive and flexible and creative with the pictures. Truly a wonderful experience.

Great photographs and video for our wedding

100% would recommend Ron and the team. We had the most beautiful photos. So many to choose from. Gorgeous wedding books to give our family. Video was an added bonus to keep all our memories alive forever.

Wonderful Experience

We got married last October and Saks was amazing to work with through the pandemic. Ron was always very responsive and answered all of my millions of questions. Our photographer, Tara was very nice and easy to work with! And out wedding album came out absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for capturing the moments from our special day! Picture Perfect Pandemic Wedding

My husband and I got married during the pandemic on 7/11/2020! While the day couldn’t go as initially planned, Saks Photography flawlessly captured all the amazing moments from the day! We had such a hard time picking out photos for our album because there were so many beautiful options! We were blown away with the album we received and will cherish these photos forever! I strongly encourage couples to still get married, even during this pandemic. It will be the best day and the amazing moments will still be captured! Thank you Saks Photography!

Very pleased with entire experience. The photographer did not miss a trick....all of the bridesmaids, bride, flower girl, brides mom and brother of bride Getting ready captured from make up, hair to wedding ready!! He was knowledgable, professional, personable and friendly!! Captured to perfection, groomsmen and grooms parents before ceremony! Ceremony photos were all we could have dreamed of.....wedding party, rings vows kiss and pictures of guests. Thank you so much!! Very please with finished Album and canvas!! Absolutely recommend

I was a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding on September 26th, 2020. From the beginning of the day's festivities well into the fun-filled evening, Saks went above and beyond. Very professional, fun, and accommodating toward the wishes of the bride and groom. Wedding pictures

My sister got married recently and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. Saks did an amazing job and the pictures were beautiful. The photographers stayed all day and into the evening -- they took great pictures of everyone and made sure that my sister got all the shots she wanted. I would highly recommend Saks!

Wedding day photography

I would highly recommend Saks! We had a pandemic wedding, and Ron and his team were professional and kind. They came early to take pics of us getting ready, and stayed late at our backyard reception to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted. My sister got married a few years ago and Saks was her photographer, and I knew I would use them for my photos and video when I got married. Very professional and responsive! The pictures are great and we had a lot of fun!

Wedding During a Pandemic

We would 100% recommend Saks Photography and Videography to everyone. From the day we booked them, they were so professional and made us feel confident and comfortable with all the choices we made for our package. During the pandemic, Ron was always answering my millions of questions and always understanding. On the day of the wedding, Ron and his crew were simply amazing! We had 2 photographers (Ron and Tara) and a videographer (Lenny) who captured all of our moments beautifully. They even captured photos we would not have even thought of! They also saved us from being in the direct sunlight during all of our photos by suggesting an alternate photo location that was simply beautiful and just what we wanted! From the getting ready photos, first look, ceremony, reception photos, and all the in between photos, they were all very professional and directed our crazy big bridal party and guests to ensure we got the perfect photos. Even after our wedding Ron has been super responsive to any questions we had regarding our photos and video. Everything came out beautiful and we can't stop looking at all of our photos and reliving our special day. If you are looking for excellent service and a worry free day to get all the photos and video coverage you want, look no further and hire Saks!

Key Part of Our Wonderful Day

My husband and I got married in August of 2018 and I have nothing but positive things to say about them! Everyone at Saks photography is very easy to work with, they have very flexible hours and are very accommodating to customer needs. My wedding package came with one large customized wedding book, two parents books, a flash drive with all of our wedding photos, two photographers and a free engagement session with 100 free personalized save the dates. I was even able to choose the design of my save the dates. Since my wedding was located outside of my home town, I wasn’t familiar with buffalo area. Tara and Diane were tremendously helpful and suggested a variety of different areas to take my group wedding photos. Come wedding day, Tara and Dominque showed up early and even stayed late to take some last minute photos. Tara (head photographer) was phenomenal, she was very organized and helped me stay on my strict time schedule between my ceremony and reception. I had a very large wedding party and she made sure to keep everyones attention (huge stress reliever for the bride). Another huge part was Tara’s bubbly personality, she made me feel comfortable and helped my husband relax while taking pictures (he normally is not a fan of picture taking!). After my wedding, I received my wedding photos very quick and was shocked by how many photos they took (over 1500!). Our photos are absolutely breath taking and couldn’t be more perfect! I am so thankful I choose Saks Photography, I would 100% recommend them to any bride and groom!

Saks did my parents wedding 35 years ago and I am SO glad that they did our wedding as well. Working with people who have been in business for a long time makes all the difference. Ron is wonderful to work with and just knows what will look the best! Trust him blindly! We were blown away with the shots that they took on their iPhones and had posted less than 12 hours after our wedding so we can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures and video that they got!

Tara was our photographer for our special day. She was AMAZING!! Everyone dreads standing and taking pictures, but she made everyone laugh and feel very comfortable. She was extremely flexible, patient, and creative with the setting and placement of the members in our party. Everyone commented on how fun and efficient she was. When we saw the pictures, we were blown away. She captured every formal and candid moment perfectly. Diane has been wonderful with communication and answering any questions we had. We are so happy we chose Saks Photography!

I had the best experience with Saks. From booking everything, all of my 100 plus questions, to finalizing, to even picking up my final order. I have nothing but good things to say. I spent the day with two photographers and Ron who made the video. All three of them made my day go by smoothly, helped any way they could, and made the day perfect. Adding the video was the best thing we could have done. I've already watched it multiple times, and i am in LOVE! They captured everyone who was there, and went above and beyond. I will be using them for all of my future photo needs!

Wow, wow, wow! Saks Photography and Video was absolutely amazing! I'm so glad that we decided to go with them for our photography and videographer for our wedding. You get a lot included for a great/reasonable price. They were so accommodating and easy to work with. We live out of town, but Saks was so easy to get in contact with and to discuss the details. Saks also let us meet with them when we were in town, when it was convenient for us. We had our ceremony on one date and the reception a few days later. Saks was able to accommodate both days and worked with us to do exactly what we wanted. Tara, John, Ron, and Gary were all amazing - each of them was very professional and personable. They asked if there were any specific things that we wanted captured and was sure to get those moments. They were so easy to work with and they made taking photos fun! They didn't make taking photos awkward at all. The photographers and videographers were there for everything - there's was not any time that we didn't see them around. All of our photos were up on the website in less than a month! And our video was ready in a month. We couldn't believe how many photos were taken - we had such a hard time choosing photos for our photo album! As for the video - I haven't seen it yet because I live out of town, but my parents have watched it and said it's amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better experience with photographers and videographers. We would recommend Saks Photography and Video to anyone looking for a photographer and/or videographer - especially for a wedding. We are extremely pleased and thank Saks Photography and Video for all that they did for us!

We had Tara as our photographer. Amazing doesn't even begin to describe her. Not only did she keep the wedding party updated and informed, she took care of getting the men and parents flowers to them, dorecting guests to the right area and taking tons of pictures. She was able to fit in two locations for pictures between the wedding and reception and still giving us plenty of time to freshen up. Every person at the reception had their picture taken. In groups or couples. Tara even remembered to get a few family pictures that I forgot. Every person was pleased with her personality and how comfortable she made them. It was amazing how at ease she made us. I would recommend her to everyone!! And that was even before I saw the beautiful pictures she tool. Every picture I saw was better than the last. I cannot say thank you enough for all the hard work. Everyone I talked to at saks was great. Any time I called, or came in to make plans with Diane. There is a reason they have been around so long. :)

We had Saks do the photography and videography at our wedding and couldn't have been happier! Tara, Anne and Brooke were wonderful to work with, so fun and comfortable to be around. I attended two weddings this past fall that Saks was the photo and video vendor for. AMAZING! The first wedding had a LARGE family and the photographers took charge and placed each person accordingly the make the family pictures turn out wonderful. A great memory! Thanks Saks! The second wedding I attended was so much fun! The wedding party was huge and CRAZY! Both the photographers and videographer at Saks embraced the crazy (lol) and did a fabulous job! Go Saks! Definitely using them for when I get married :)

I'm so glad I went with Saks for my wedding photos! Our photographer Tara did an amazing job im so happy with how all of the pictures turned out! We had way less time than I originally planned to take pictures but you would never know it by how many and how beautiful the pictures turned out! Saks did an amazing job. The photography for a wedding is one of the most important things since you only have one day to capture these special moments and the photographer only has one chance to get it right. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism, skill and personality Saks as a whole and our photographer Gary. He was spectacular! He captured so many pictured from the small details, to the special moments and the funny candids! The photographs came out beautifully and we are so happy with them! Everyone who sees them asks who did our photos. Our album i came out amazing and the entire Saks team was great to work with. We would definitely recommend them for any couple for their wedding day or other special event!

Our photographer - "The Mr. Saks" was fabulous! He was on top of his game and kept the wedding party and everyone else on task all day! He was fast and efficient and knew exactly what to do! Very professional, well spoken, and unintruisive. He manage all the photography concerns so I didn't have to think about it. The wedding photos turned out fantastic!! Saks photography has given us wonderful photos. Each photo captures how happy our wedding day was.

The staff is very helpful from start to finish; when we first met with Diane, she helped us pick the photo package for our budget and set up a payment schedule that worked for us.

Our photographer was fun and professional. Before the wedding, she stopped by my wife's parent's home to take photos of my wife with Poco, her Chihuahua and best friend. The photos of Poco and my wife mean as much as the wedding photos. We are so happy.

If you are planning a wedding, you really should plan with Saks photography. They are perfectly professional and the photos are amazing. Our canvas print is fantastic and our wedding album is a beautiful addition to our coffee table. We will fondly look at these photos for many years.

The entire staff at Saks Photography was extremely helpful and accommodating for an out of town bride and groom. The proofs were available within a couple of weeks. Ron captured every special moment and detail of our wedding. Our videographer, Brooke was excellent to work with and ensured my extended train was picture perfect. Words just can't describe how happy we are with Saks Photography. The quality of the pictures they took of our wedding was second to none. My fiancé and I booked Saks at a bridal show even before we had our venue because we knew they were the photographer for us. Ron and John were our photographers. Every shot was so different and incredibly beautiful! They also did our video and the quality was better that we could ask for. Our video trailer is really fun to watch over and over again! I can't say enough about everyone at Saks. They have made this whole process absolutely seamless. It was rainy, cold and really windy on our day so I was really concerned with how we would be able to do our pictures but we had a blast and didn't even miss being outside!

They always say to not scrimp on your photographer, and boy are we glad we spent our money on Saks!! They were amazing from start to finish. Our photographers were phenomenal, and we truly can't wait to get our pictures back! They started at noon and didn't leave until almost 10:30! We had given them shots we liked beforehand, and he remembered every one, and were able to make even more memorable moments with how creative they were! They were truly worth every penny and I couldn't recommend them more!

The photographers at Saks are incredible. Not only did they take amazing photographs of our event, but they helped me throughout the day as if they were my wedding planners. We hired 2 photographers, which I highly recommend because you will get a variety of shots at different angles throughout the day. Both photographers often fixed my dress and my veil for photos. The female photographer was giving me advice before I walked down the aisle to calm me down. You get way more that just great photos with Saks. Very professional, very helpful and just overall nice people.

I loved everything! I had two photographers and they captured so many elements of my wedding that I loved! I had candids and traditional photographs and loved that I got my cd of images. They took over 1,000 images and it was super hard to narrow down becuase I loved them all - I highly recommend them!

I love love love saks. My wedding photos came out absolutely amazing. Over 25 years ago they did my parents wedding and it seemed fitting for them to do mine as well. This is a family run business that made me feel like family on my wedding day. All day I barely knew they were there, but somehow, every amazing moment was captured. I was in tears when I saw all the great photos they took. They are honestly top notch, great quality photos, and everyone that works there is so nice. If you want flawless photography on your big day, it would be a mistake not to go with SAKS. You get what you pay for. Cant wait to see my video!! Thanks again saks!

Our photographer Tara was amazing and fun to work with. My 18 month old niece just loved her and Tara was great getting her to smile and look up when she needed it. Tara was very patient and pleasant- always had a smile on her face. and was understanding when a pushy aunt thought that she ruled the show. I wasn't excatly the easiest bride to get in touch with, but Saks never let that get in the way of service. My husband and I are so happy with the wedding photo's and the package with everything it entails. The photographer was very clever in taking pictures that showed the actual tone of the wedding and party. He suggested certain poses and scenes that made for excellent pictures that I would have never thought of! I have already recommended this place to others!

Saks also did my invitations and they were so classy and unique. I also received a 25% discount for the invites since I booked my photography thru them. They had many selections for us to choose from and the choice was difficult. After explaining to Diane what I was looking for, she found just the right invitation and it was perfect. They were so beautiful, words just does not do them justice!

I recently was married Sept 10, 2011 and had our photos taken through Saks. We had both Ron and Tara as our photographers and I don't even know where to begin, they were that AMAZING!!!! By far the most professional individuals (and staff) I have ever dealt with. Our photos are just unbelieveably gorgeous, there is not a single one that we do not like and I am very picky when it comes to photos. Weddings can be so hectic, but they made sure that all the important photos were taken care of without being pushy, like some photographers. They did a whole variety of styles of photos, both traditional and creative, which we loved! This gives us a really great selection to choose from. Overall, we felt their prices were extremely fair. (Remember, you get what you pay for) I think brides and grooms lose focus on where to spend their money. ***Remember, the only thing you will have left from your wedding day will be your photos!!! Make sure you make the right decision, I know we did!!!!***

A complete success! I loved having Saks Photography do my wedding photos and video. I am originally from Buffalo, but my wedding was in Atlanta. I just had to have them! We flew down Ron and Tara for photography and Brooke did the video. Throughout my year of planning, I really got to know Pat and Diane over the phone. Both ladies were extremely helpful and resourceful. The distance didn't hinder any of the plans. Our wedding day was perfect! Ron, Tara, and Brooke worked so well together. We loved them! We all were so very impressed. I rarely knew they were there - incredibly unobtrusive. When we viewed our photos online after we returned from our honeymoon, we were floored. We had Ron and Brooke as our photographers and we had our video (Tara did it)through them and they were AWESOME! They worked really well together and with us so my hubby and I didn't feel rushed or anything on our day. Our photos were awesome! We got to see the photos about 1 1/2 after the wedding and I was so thrilled. There were detail shots, candids of my guests, and everything in between. I think that we got a good deal for the price as well. For the quality of the work and what we received, you couldn't really go wrong. Our video was also really nice! I would recommend going through them to have both photography and video because like I said before they worked really well together and knew what the other was doing so they didn't get in each other’s way. We went with the blu-ray and it's awesome. I loved watching the people dance - especially my grandparents and watching what people had to say. I was extremely pleased and will be going back for other picture stuff.

Saks Photography did a wonderful job from start to finish. They have very good hours of business, so you will never have to worry about not being able to fit a time in your schedule to go to the studio. Being the bride and planning your own wedding leaves you anxious and nervous at times, and Saks was always ready and willing to answer my photography questions, so I never felt bad calling them. Tara was our photographer and she did an incredible job! I truly cannot even thank her enough. On the day of my wedding she was right on time and ready to start capturing all of the special moments. Everyone loved her, I got so many compliments from friends and family. We had a great experience with Saks for our wedding. We worked with 3 people mainly - Diane, Mr. Saks, and Tara. Diane in the office was very helpful with explaining what our package included, and keeping all the order details straight. Mr Saks did our engagement photo session, which only took about a half hour, and the photos came out great. Tara was our wedding photographer. She arrived just a few minutes early and started taking pictures of all the details (the ring, the shoes, etc.). During our formal session she got our group of 14 to coordinate some nice poses, and we had time to visit 3 different locations. During the ceremony, she was completely unobtrusive, I didn't even notice her there. She somehow managed to get some great angles while not being a distraction. When all was said and done we came away with almost 900 pictures to review and choose from.
I would recommend Saks, we had a positive experience all around.

We had Tara and Brooke as our photographers for our wedding day. With it being a Friday wedding things were a little more rushed than a normal Saturday wedding and these two ladies handled everything well along with the timing. We had TONS of pictures to look at from our wedding; over 1,000 and couldn't be happier with them. We just received our photo album yesterday and I made my husband wait for me to look at it and since he couldnt check it out in front of Tara she wanted me to call her back today to make sure that we absolutely loved it. Great Experience!

25 years ago Saks Photography did my parents wedding, so of course we decided to go with Saks for our wedding! Ron and Lenny went above and beyond to capture all of the beautiful moments throughout the day. Due to the Pandemic there were some last minute changes. Saks was accommodating and flexible in the days prior to the wedding as well as the day of. Our pictures turned out beautiful and we are so happy to have these photos as memories from our special day !

Saks photography did a wonderful job at our wedding! Our photographer was wonderful and took so many pictures of the entire day. They follow you from the morning all the way until you leave at the end of the evening! We haven't gotten our pictures yet but I know they will be beautiful. They are a little more expensive than the other local photographers, but Saks is a business that has been around for over 30 years with a great reputation and offered more services than the other places around. This in mind is the main reason why we choose Saks photography to capture all the moments of our special day.

Choosing Saks for our wedding photography was a reference. I enjoyed our pictures thoroughly, however, I had asked for a lot of ad lib pictures (not all posed). The majority of our pictures were all group poses and side shots of those group poses. One of our photographers (I'm assuming the owner) was also very reluctant when I asked for a specific shot. I don't expect an attitude for a simple need when this is your job. The packages Saks offered were great, however for the amount of money you pay things like digital retouching and album preservatives should not be an extra charge (they are). Flexibility is not so great as they don't have too many late hours during the weekdays (when my husband and I both work late) and they are almost unavailable on weekends due to weddings.

We felt the package we purchased was the best value for our budget. We really liked our photographs, and felt the photographer did a great job. We hardly noticed him throughout the night, and were surprised when we saw the pictures how involved he really was. They did a great job capturing the best moments of our wedding. Working with the staff at the studio itself has been the only problem. They seem to be slightly unorganized, but are friendly. Overall, great value and product.

This is a family owned business. I liked dealing with Diana and one of the daughters that worked at the place of business. They were both very friendly and accommodating. However our main photographer (we had 2) made us feel rushed. I know he needed to capture certain moments, but his "bedside manor" was a little rough. Also some of the pictures had a very high ISO which made them look grainy in the darker atmosphere at the reception. I'm not an expert but I was surprised at the quality of some of the darker pictures. And maybe it was my fault for not specifying, but I would have like some more creative pictures, instead of just "stand here, turn this way, look that way". Overall our pictures turned out beautiful. If I had to do it again, I don't know 100% if I'd choose them again.

I booked Saks at a bridal show based on their reputation and also the deal they were offering for booking on that day. The pictures are very nice, but they're just your basic wedding photos with little to no creativity. There aren't nearly as many pictures of just myself and my husband as I would like, but still, they photos are very nice. I was very turned off by Ron as he made several comments rude about my husbands weight while taking the pictures (this coming from a personal who is hard to offend), but Brooke (who was also taking pictures) was fabulous. I was upset with the service I got when I went in to pick the pictures I wanted as the woman I was working with was rather rude and condesending. The bridal show "deal" made it look at though you were getting several items included in the package price, only to find out you had to pay extra in the end. I also requested a specific item to be included in my price when I had my initial counseltation only to find out it wasn't included and I would again have to pay extra. Overall, I'm only so-so on the pictures, and disappointed with the service.

I would not recommend Saks from our experience at our wedding. I see everyone raving about Tara on the reviews, I wish we would have gotten her because our photographer missed several good photo opportunities, resulting in probably the worst wedding photos I've seen. We had a male photographer and videographer.

The photos themselves are basic - no creativity. Honestly some just in poor taste, like 2 of just my cleavage (no I'm not kidding). My guests who I did show the photos to also made reference to these odd photos, so it wasn't just us who noticed it.

After the ceremony, the photographer seemed to just take photos with anyone who stood next to me vs. taking charge and organizing the families ensuring everyone was in there. I had enough to worry about on the day of the wedding, I was relying on the photographer to be organized and make sure he got every possible shot with family.

I don't have a photo of myself, my mother, and grandmother all in one photo, just separates --what good is this? I don't have a photo of my grandparents on my father's side along with his siblings all in one photo -- again a missed opportunity. There's a photo of the fountain in front of Samuel's Grande Manor, just the fountain -- we didn't even know he got that until we got the cd back. You'd think the photographer would've asked me and the groom to get in front of that fountain -- it's a beautiful photo opportunity. My point is, he missed a lot of opportunities and we are really disappointed because you can't go back and take new ones. We're stuck with what we got.

It's also been 2 months since my wedding and no video -- not even a phone call with an update. I emailed Saks regarding my disappointment in the photos and surprise - no response. It's just unfortunate that we spent all this money for mediocre photos.

I would not recommend Saks for handling any major service that you may be interested in. My wife and I just completed our wedding, and as part of the package we were to include a "Signature Portrait for our reception"as stated in their brochure under the "Designer Wedding Coverage". When the photographer showed up, he didn't have it in his possession and then made NO EXTRA EFFORT to resolve this. I wasn't made aware of this not being there until about 1 hour before our ceremony. Thankfully the owner of the venue went out of her way to purchase a journal so that our guest would have something to sign.

My wife called them on Tuesday and spoke with an employee there. The argument used for the oversight was that because we didn't show up for the engagement session that we didn't want the signature portrait. I sure am glad that they didn't make the same assumptions with showing up to take pictures at our wedding, because they absolutelycould have with the logic that they used.

I just got off the phone with the location, and I asked to speak to the owner of the company about this complaint. I was told that the owner wasn't in and that he would effectively get to me when he got to me sometime next week. The conversations was handled as if it was to be expected and nothing was out of the ordinary. Why would anyone want to engage in a relationship with this company that doesn't value the opinion of their customers and treat mild transgressions as egregious offenses. Sak's doesn't care to live up to the contract that They Wrote and They Signed. They know what comes in these packages and I guess they pick and choose what to deliver on. My wife went to a bridal show and got sucked in to the sales pitch. A better sales pitch than delivery on goods and services promised.
