You won’t find better than RPM!

Richard (RPM) help made our wedding day absolutely perfect! A perfect mix of music to start the day to party music later into the evening. All of our guests raved about him and how amazing he was! He is also incredibly organized and helped make the whole day run smoothly. I’ve seen Richard as a dj in many of our friend’s weddings, and other events as well, and he never ceases to make it so special and a total blast! You will not find better!

Best DJ ever !!!!

I can’t recommend Richard enough! He was absolutely incredible and such a huge reason why our day ran so smoothly and seamlessly. From taking us out to dinner beforehand to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it, to keeping the dance floor full all night long, he went above and beyond in every way.

He even helped me surprise my dad during our father-daughter dance with a home video slideshow and got emotional right alongside our guests during the mother-son dance. Richard isn’t just a vendor — he’s someone who truly cares, celebrates with you, and elevates your day in every possible way. We’re endlessly grateful for him.

Best in the industry

Richard has worked many weddings we have attended and I am not lying when I say he was the first vendor we booked and our date depended on his availability. His service is high quality from the very first “hello, can I get more details” to the end of the night importune glow stick send off. Truly, we (and our guests) did not want the night to end and Richard was available to stay as long as we could keep the event going. He knows exactly what the crowd wants and keeps them entertained all night. He and his experience will support you the entire way through planning your timeline to deciding last minute of which songs to play at the pivotal moments. He is the best in the industry, extremely kind, and soooooo professional! You’ll regret not booking him, I promise you!

Had a blast with RMP!

We had a great experience working with Richard at RPM for our August wedding. He was familiar with our venue and from the start made us feel very confident in his ability to run our day smoothly. He was very responsive, reached out to us multiple times to ask if we needed help with any planning.
He took our playlist and played a great selections of songs we chose and songs he felt were appropriate in the moment. Our guests had a blast and so did we. The dance floor was always packed, he was interactive with our group which made everything even more fun. Highly recommend RPM

We could not be any happier with the experience we had with RPM Entertianment for our wedding ceremony and reception. Right from the very first interaction RPM Entertainment was very responsive, professional, and very helpful. Danced the night away!

Richard was outstanding as our wedding DJ! His professionalism and expertise in both MCing and DJing made our party unforgettable. Do not hesitate to hire Richard and RPM!

Richard is a fantastic wedding DJ and we highly recommend him! He was such a pleasure to work with at every step of the planning process. He was organized, communicative and professional, and took the time to listen to our wants and captured the overall feeling/tone for the ceremony, cocktail party and reception. Not only did Rich incorporate all of our requests, but he helped the party flow and knew how to read the crowd to keep the party going. He led a crowd of all ages to their feet, didn't try to "steal the show" away from us or our wedding party, and worked very well the photographer and venue staff. The uplighting and cake spotlight looked awesome, as did the lights around the dance floor. From my research of wedding DJs, I think that RPM provides an amazing value for its services for the entire evening. So many guests commented on our great DJ and what a fun party we threw! Our venue had not worked with RPM prior to our wedding, were very impressed, and have added them as a recommended DJ. Thanks again, Rich!

Our wedding DJ dream come true!!

Richard crushed it! He absolutely surpassed all our expectations, and we could not recommend him enough. Our friends and family love to dance, so choosing the right person was extremely important to us. From the very beginning, Richard made us feel at ease. He was extremely responsive, organized, and available for any question we had. On our wedding day, he was somehow able to play the perfect mix of songs to meet everyone’s vibe and gave our guests a truly unique experience. He was also creative and kept the energy up on the dance floor the entire night (3+ hours). Richard was a big part in what made our day special and fun with his kind words, expertise, and overall support. We would choose Richard again in a heartbeat!

We could go on forever about Richard. We had a two year engagement and booked his services very early on! He kept in touch with us throughout the entire process, went above and beyond in so many of the wedding planning areas and truly made the experience so smooth and easy for us! Music is one of the major pieces of the ceremony and reception, and Richard provides the most professional services I've ever experienced as a Bride and a wedding guest. Best dj around!

Hands down the best choice to make your big day amazing! Our guests loved Richard and said he made our wedding unforgettable. Richard is Very professional and will not play songs that you put on your do not play list. He has a visually appealing booth and great sounding audio equipment. He does such a good job keeping the crowd engaged and on the dance floor no matter how young or old! He is also so helpful with suggestions on what to do and not to do to make your wedding perfect and he sure made ours just that! After All we did pick our wedding day based off of his availability. Definitely book Richard!

We can't say enough positive things about working with Richard at RPM. He was professional, prompt, and engaged throughout the whole wedding planning process. Our ceremony sound was excellent and he really shone as MC and DJ for our reception. I've never experienced a DJ who was so skilled at getting a crowd engaged, he really did more than just play the greatest hits on a playlist and tailored the songs to what we noticed really kept our dance floor full. Our guests loved him, and so did we! DJs can be some of the hardest vendors to book, but stop here, you won't regret Richard.

Best Wedding DJ

If you’re looking for a wedding DJ, we can’t recommend Richard with RPM Entertainment enough. Richard DJ’d our wedding this summer and selecting him as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made in the planning process. He is very detail oriented and didn’t overlook anything. We appreciated his thorough timeline, but also his flexibility to guide the night along the right timeline. Our dance floor was full ALL night and even after over 3 hours of dancing - I think all of our guests would’ve loved for even more. He read the crowd so well in terms of song selections. He is prepared, organized, punctual, and very professional. He played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and we’d choose to do it all the same all over again. Richard kept us stress free & having the best time at our wedding and we so appreciate it. Plus our friends said it was the most fun dance floor they’ve ever seen at a wedding. Thank you!

Wedding DJ

RPM Entertainment provided the DJ service for my wedding on 9/16/23. Richard checked in with us multiple times before our wedding day, and on wedding day. He was professional, and brought a great energy to our day. All of our guests had a great time and said so many great things about Richard. If you are looking for a DJ that will get the party going and get your guests on the dance floor, RPM entertainment is the man for you! He is very charismatic and passionate about his job. Multiple guests stated it was the best wedding they had ever been to due to Richard’s ability to get individuals dancing. To summarize: our experience with Richard was perfect.

I spent hours looking for DJs and reading hundreds of reviews, and I could not be happier with our choice. I have not been to a wedding/party where the DJ was half as attentive, engaging, funny, professional as Richard was. Don't hesitate, book Richard now!

I can not say enough good things about Richard and RPM Entertainment. I talked with at least three other vendors but there was something about Richard that assured me we would be in good hands and he did not disappoint. From perfectly timed music for our outdoor ceremony to a non-stop dance party at our reception, Richard helped make our wedding day better than we could have imagined. Even by "band friends" said Richard was the best DJ they've ever heard at a wedding. Most importantly, he is kind and easy to work with. Richard pays attention to all of the small details and genuinely cares about each wedding. My only issue? That our receptioin couldn't last all night long.

Excellent DJ

Richard was a terrific DJ for our wedding - he did our ceremony music, as well as our reception. He was great prior to the event by giving us a very detailed questionnaire to fill out (which honestly helped us so much in thinking out our day), meeting with us to go over everything, and was super accessible to answer all my last minute questions/changes.

For the day of, he was terrific. On time and set up - was super prepared & didn't need anything from us. It was a venue he hadn't worked before and it couldn't have been smoother. He was awesome at getting the crowd up and moving and on the floor. We had so much fun dancing the night away - it was important to us that we had a big dance party and that happened!! Truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Price wise - super reasonable, especially compared to other DJs in the area. Totally worth it - won't regret working with RPM!!!

From the initial meeting to the final song at the wedding, Richard was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and an absolute blast to work with! All of our wedding guests could not stop talking about how amazing he was. He had every single guest up on the dance floor and had just as much fun behind the DJ booth as we all did on the dance floor. Saved the day!

Richard was amazing and so fun! He does an amazing job engaging the guests and keeping everything on schedule. He also saved our wedding - our officiant was a no show - luckily Richard is ordained, so we had my sister-in-law do the ceremony and have Richard legally marry us at the end! Life saver!

11/10 Would Hire Again

When my husband and I hired Richard to be our DJ, I don't know that we realized what a great deal we had gotten. Richard is professional, kind, supportive, and knows how to make a party great! When we hired him before the pandemic, we thought we were having a 2020 wedding... he was so flexible in adjusting to a new date and a new venue! He happily tracked down our music requests (and there were quite a few of them!) and incorporated them flawlessly into our day, providing music and sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. With a 30 person micro-wedding we were worried that the space might feel too big or that not many of us would be dancing, but Richard had all of our guests on the dance floor for the entire reception! Our guests from ages 7 to 90 had a fabulous time, in no small part due to the energy that Richard helped cultivate. Richard was one of the first vendors we hired for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. 11/10 would hire him again! Thank you so much for being part of our day and for helping make it so special!

Best day of our lives with the perfect DJ

Richard is by far the best DJ there is. All night we got compliments on how engaging and wonderful he was. Since the day we got engaged, I told my fiance "WE NEED RICHARD AS OUR DJ!". Exactly what we were looking for, and more!

We are now weeks after our wedding with Richard and still can not stop talking about our experience with him! Richard was professional and kind throughout our entire interaction. He was extremely responsive and made sure that every piece of our wedding went as planned, including two requests we asked of him three days before the wedding! Richard was able to quickly gauge what kind of music our guests wanted to hear- reaching the older folk with Sinatra/Bennett, to Aerosmith, to Nicki Minaj and Avicii. He was interactive and even came up to us to ask if we needed a drink during the dinner! At the end of the day, we not only got a DJ, but a wedding planner and someone to look after us the day of. I can't recommend Richard enough- he will make your dream wedding come true!

Richard was amazing to work with. Over a year after our wedding, guests are still telling us he was the best DJ they have ever seen. From our initial phone consult, I knew we were in good hands. Richard truly goes above and beyond and is prepared for everything. I wish I had reason to hire a DJ more often so I could work with Richard again! Two days after my wedding (10/12/19), my best friend booked him for her wedding in 2021. I cannot wait to attend another RPM event.

Richard was fabulous. He very attentive to anything we needed and every last detail both leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day itself. From the beginning, Richard was the VERY BEST to work with. We've been to plenty of other weddings where he was the DJ and knew from the start that he would be the DJ we hired for our wedding. We essentially chose wedding dates around his availability and he did not disappoint. Every request we had, he delivered, and did it with professionalism, poise, energy, and every other wonderful quality you can think of or want in one of your vendors. We were outside, no power, it was chilly, none of these were issues, he has it all covered and our dance floor was full the entire time! What a blast!

We used RPM for our wedding on 8/22/20 and Richard absolutely killed it. We could not have been happier with our decision to have him. Richard made sure we were all on the same page leading up to the big day. Not only did he fill the dance floor with amazing song choices, but he helped us stay on track with our timeline for the day. Richard was very pleasant to work with leading up to the wedding and even better the day of. He helped keep the wedding day structured with guidance on typical timelines on first dance, cake cutting, etc. He would go out of his way to make sure we (bride/groom) were well fed and had plenty to drink. Richard played a great mix of tunes that got all involved and knew how to crack jokes when appropriate. I could not recommend him enough. A DJ is one of the most, if not the most, vital parts to any party and he was definitely a very large contributor to the success of our party! Thank you very much RPM!

Literally the best DJ ever. EVER!

Richard was absolutely incredible from start to finish! He traveled to our venue to meet with us for the first time, and immediately put us at ease. He listened to what we wanted, made fantastic suggestions, and made sure the party kept going all night. We got married in September (I know.. delayed review!), but I still can't stop thinking about how much fun we had. If you are lucky enough to find Richard with an open weekend, don't hesitate.. book it now! He is the absolute best, without any doubt.

Best dj ever!

Richard is the best DJ I have ever worked with! When I was first looking for a DJ, I talked to some of my other vendors, and everyone said he was the best! Obviously, I had to reach out! He was so kind and flexible! I warned him that my family doesn’t dance and it would be hard to get people on the dance floor, but he took it like “challenge accepted!” He worked so hard! And some of my favorite moments from the whole wedding only happened because he made it happen! Everyone singing “Don’t Stop Believin’”, my brother-in-law’s epic air guitar... and many other amazing moments!!! He was even great with the kids at my wedding who were making the craziest song requests! I can’t stress it enough, if you are having a wedding in Vermont, you want Richard to be your DJ! I have never seen anyone work so hard or care so much!

Phenomenal!

We could not have asked for a better DJ! Richard had everyone up on the dance floor all night- even those who usually don’t dance! He read the room and chose music he felt our guests would enjoy, and they LOVED it. We have received many, many compliments about Richard- our wedding would not have been the same without him. Stop looking, he's right here!! We would have been absolutely lost without Richard during our big day and during the planning process as well. Best dj ever

I got married on 11.10.2018, having Richard as our DJ was easily one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding day. He was always incredibly responsive with any questions we had. He is just a genuine person who truly cares about providing you with the best service to make one of the best days of your life very memorable. Throughout our entire night everyone was complimenting me on him, he interacted with our crowd, played music that kept everyone on the dance floor for the ENTIRE night. He arrived at our venue early to help out and make sure everything was perfect. We also met with Richard and our wedding coordinator a couple weeks before our wedding and talked about how we wanted the day to run. On our actual wedding day our wedding coordinator had a family emergency and couldn't be there. Having Richard there made us feel so much more comfortable since he knew the way we wanted things to go and about all the important transitions. It was great having someone who cared so much about making sure things were great for us. DO NOT HESITATE booking RPM Entertainment, it was worth every penny, and helped make our wedding day even more memorable than we could have imagined. Thank you Richard!

Best DJ Ever!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better DJ for our special day. Richard was so upbeat and fun and he made sure to get everyone up on the dance floor. He played all the songs that we had requested and he kept all of our guests entertained all night. We received so many compliments on our DJ selection not just from guests at our wedding but even from the staff at our venue. Now that I have a chance to sit down and really thank you for everything you did for us Saturday I will try to put into words how thankful we are. When we went to our friends wedding two years ago and you we’re dJing Steven said “this guy is awesome, we should have him at our wedding!” For the time leading up to the wedding we had several people ask who our DJ was and the simple response of RPM sent them all into the same response of “OMG HES SO AWESOME! I’ve been to a couple weddings were the music service was terrible and some where the music service was great so we were aware that we needed the best around to provide for our special day. We surely had the best around. From the minutes after the reception ended right up to today people are still boasting about how great of a time they had and how they think you’re the best around just like we do! So Thank you, thank you for making this process so easy leading up to the wedding, for changing last minute changes, for fulfilling all of our requests and making our wedding one that surely was one for the books. Saturday was such a bitter sweet day knowing that Stevens mother would have loved you just as much as we did and she would have never left that dance floor just like Madi (my step daughter). Put simply, Richard was a primary player in making our wedding the perfect day. Planning an outdoor VT wedding from the other side of the country was an interesting task at first, but the email conversations, and the in-person meeting we had instantly put any entertainment fears aside for both myself and my (now) wife.

We first met Richard at my sister’s wedding (where he was her DJ). He was so fantastic that when I began to plan my wedding for the following year, I knew there was no better person for the job. Richard pitches himself as "music and lighting," but don't kid yourself: If you hire RPM, you've got a full-service wedding reception emcee who is truly happy to be helping with your big day and wants to work with you to make a rocking party. Richard helped us through every step, and handled it without skipping a beat when we added a bouquet toss on the day of the wedding. The music was awesome, and he spent the perfect amount of time on the mic to help make the night fun without making us or the guests feel like we were being herded.

When I first met Richard, he was the DJ at my brother’s wedding in Vermont. He filled the night with an incredible level of energy, laughter, and of course, dancing!! I knew then that I absolutely needed him to DJ my wedding someday. My wedding was just a month ago, and Richard made the trek to western Massachusetts for us without hesitation. He repeatedly told us how honored he felt to be a part of another wedding in our family. Hello all, my name is Jamie and I live in Florida but I planned my wedding for Montpelier, Vermont where my family if from. It is never easy planning a wedding, let a lone a destination wedding where all you have to go by is reviews and peoples experiences. At the beginning, I received multiple quotes from DJs, all a mixed range of super expensive to questionably cheap. RPM is a mid to high price range which at first I didn't know how I would feel paying what I was quoted. By reading reviews and then speaking with Richard, we made our decision to go with RPM!!! Best decision ever!!! Richard is extremely professional and fun, I can't tell you how many of our wedding guests said how awesome are DJ was. If you're considering a DJ for your wedding and music is at all important to you, look no further. Richard is absolutely worth his weight in gold. I knew that music was going to be an important part of both our ceremony and reception and had heard through the grapevine that Richard was phenomenal. I never wanted to get married in August, but I chose my wedding date based on Richard's availability and have zero regrets. Not only is Richard extremely professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with, he is also kind and thoughtful and it's evident that he LOVES what he does. I've attended other weddings where the DJ was just going through the motions-- not Richard-- he IS the motion. He has the ability to read the crowd like a book and when they want more, he cranks it up another notch. Thanks to Richard's expertise and enthusiasm, our wedding was damn near flawless. I cannot recommend him enough!

RPM Entertainment is AMAZING! Richard makes every second of the wedding fun and energetic! All of my guests continue to rave about his skills! His emergency wedding kit was so helpful, especially when we forgot a knife to cut our cake! We would recommend him to everybody, and book him early because he is totally worth it!

I would say don't think twice about using RPM, he may be booked before you make your decision!! He is an amazing person. Keeps people on the dance floor the whole time. Many of the guests said he was the best they had ever heard.

Richard is AWESOME!!! He played all the right songs at the perfect time. Knew how to get everyone there involved and he clearly loves his job, which shows, and everyone had a great time because of it. We have heard so many times since our wedding "that DJ was the best!!" And he really is!! I would hands down suggest RPM to anyone.

Richard is amazing!!! He was incredibly fun to work with and kept the party going. From the moment out guests arrive at the reception, to the very last song, he was fun, entertaining and attentive. The uplighting he provided was perfect and kept the atmosphere of the room fun. He even gave us the most thoughtful gift. When my now Husband first proposed the very first thing we did was find out what days Richard had available for the following year. He only had two dates left. So we Booked it right away, I told my fiancé if he was booked I would've waited an extra year to get married just to have him. I realized throughout the last year of planning I wasn't the only person who booked my date around his availability. People I would meet would ask me questions and more than a few times I would find out they did the same thing I did, he was the vendor they just had to have. He is just THAT good. I've seen him DJ the Relay life here in Central Vermont many times and I always knew that when it was my time to get married he had to be our DJ. He is so outgoing and personable. He really knows how to get a crowd going and keep them pumped up. He was such a help from the beginning, trying to help us find a venue and giving advice on anything we needed. He was ALWAYS there when I had questions. He made it very clear he would help with whatever I needed (and he did). I recommend everyone who is looking for a DJ to hire him. This is his calling in life. I cannot imagine a better DJ in this whole wide world. People at the wedding were so amazed by him and how interactive with the crowd he was. His attention to everything was amazing. More than once he came up to me during the reception and asked how everything was going and if I needed anything at all. His prices are so affordable. He could honestly charge double for the amount of work and the great service he provides. You can tell he does this for the love of the job and it shows through in these events. So many people came up to me and said he was the best they have ever seen. I am so glad we hired him & I would suggest everyone to do so. You will not be disappointed. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and Richard made that possible. It would not have been the same with anyone else. I truly hope I get to attend more weddings he does!

Phenomenal! Phenomenal! Phenomenal! The attention to detail and the responsiveness to the crowd was unmatched.He said that he would have the crowd wanting more and more and the crowd that finished out the party did want more and more! He tailored his music and his professionalism to every age group, even our 5 year old son! He didn't leave a dry eye when the mood said to cry or a sad face when the mood said to cheer! Enough can't be said about his quality, attentiveness, courteousness, or his respect for our ceremony and our family and friends. It was a true blessing to share our special moment with him. If I could, he'd be there for every special event to plan in our lives.

Richard could not have done a better job at our wedding. He got everyone out of their seats mutiple times throughout the night and played a killer variety of music everyone loved. The lighting was perfection and he was the best part of the reception!!

Richard made our event the very best that it could be. This was a Fashion Show that was a fundraiser for the Waterbury, Vermont food shelf. RPM provided us with awesome lighting and all the music we wanted. I would highly recommended Richard and RPM for any event.

Kiley and I can not thank Richard and RPM Entertainment enough. We have received so many comments not only about how great the wedding was, but how awesome the party was!

Richard was extremely helpful and attentive leading up to the wedding day and then exceeded our expectations during the day. He without a doubt made it a day we will never forget, and made it the party we never could have imagined throwing! He ramped the energy level right from the start and kept it there the entire night, even executing our special requests flawlessly. Our wedding coordinator, at Jay Peak, even commented the next day that she had not witnessed our venue dance floor be too small for a wedding!

Absolutely hands down the best DJ ever... From start to finish, Richard was available to meet with us at all times, and made himself available through the whole planning process. On the actual day of the wedding, he kept the party going and kept everyone on track as well!

Richard was so attentive to our needs and made the wedding so special. We received so many compliments about him. We highly recommend him for any event. We had a lot of people ask for his info for weddings of their own or friends/family. I am not a dancer but Richard made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed that I was out on the dance floor having a great time.

I really cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Richard and RPM Entertainment. Second only to the comments about my dress was the number of great comments I heard about the music and entertainment. Richard knows how to get your guests involved in the reception and not just on the dance floor. He was kind, attentive, easy-going, and reliable. We have attended and planned many events. We have seen DJs make or brake events. After seeing Richard of RPM Entertainment in action at the Windsor County (Vermont) Relay for Life and at a friend's wedding, we knew that we would not have to take that gamble ever again in planning our future events. Richard is energetic, professional, attentive and flexible. With Richard at our events we do not worry that our guests will not be entertained. Richard was amazing! Not only does he know how to get the party going, he also takes the time to get to know you and your family. He understands the stress and nerves that come with a wedding, so to hear him say "please dont wear a watch, i'll take care of everything"
was a huge relief! He had us dancing all night long, and even played a few games like an air guitar competition that got my 70 year old uncle up on the dance floor. And he is NOT cheesy like some DJs and he connects with all age groups. Everyone loved him, from my 4 years old nieces to my 90 year old grandfather in-law! I definitely recommend him for any family gathering!
