Enthusiastic, great to work with

We loved how enthusiastic Rob was, from his reply email to the very last minute of his session with us. We are very grateful that he took pictures of our wedding day during the Coronavirus times. We estimated we needed him for 90 minutes, but he never checked his watch once. The whole family felt comfortable taking pictures with him. He encouraged us to do everything that we had planned (first dance, MOH speech through Zoom, toast, cake) without rushing. I had a few pictures spots in mind and we checked them all, from me getting ready to bridal portraits. He turned his work around in a very short time and we are pleased with the results. Rob's personality is his biggest asset and we definitely enjoyed working with him. (We believe Rob deserves a shout-out and will be spreading the word in all wedding review sites)

Great photography

Ron was a pleasure to work with! He was very flexible and was able to get a print from my bridals done quickly so I could have them at the wedding. I am so happy that we hired him!

Ron parks is amazing, my bridal pictures came in and are spectacular. Words can not describe how emotional I feel looking over them. Emotional in a good way. I highly recommend Ron Parks!!!

We have used Ron Parks Photography on several occasions and are always pleased with his work. He traveled to Virginia to shoot our wedding and was very easy to work with. His photos were beautiful, prices were reasonable (much cheaper than the Virginia photographers we looked at!), and we had the photos back within a few weeks. He also did our engagement portraits which were equally nice. Thanks Ron!

Ron parks is awesome, he took every kind of picture I could ever possibly want or need plus plenty of pics of all my guests. He was patient kind and just overall amazing. Would definitely use him again for just family pics or whatever lol. He's awesome and friendly

My sister and I are remarkably impressed with Ron and his team. Stacey hired him to shoot her wedding last October, and the pictures are just amazing. Ron was friendly and fun, and captured her radiating joy like I've never seen before. I must admit, I was a little jealous when she showed me the wedding photos! Me and my fiance' hope to hire him for our wedding this Summer. I won't settle for any other photographer. Ron Parks rocks!

We would highly recommend Ron Parks Photography!
Ron took my daughters Bridal Portraits and did simply an amazing job! It's going to be hard to pick out more pics for the album!
Ron was fun, very creative and extremely talented! He even worked with my daughter and her dog during bridal portraits and made it a lot of fun!
He and two other assistants took pics of the wedding- we're still waiting for those. But I have no doubt that they will be fantastic!!

We cannot say enough good things about Ron Parks Photography!! Carmen was our wedding day photographer and she was SO wonderful and professional. Carmen contacted us before the wedding to set up a game plan for the day of and see what we wanted to capture on our day, likes/dislikes, etc. Our formal pictures after the ceremony went so smoothly and quickly. Several of our guests commented on how she was everywhere, getting all the great shots without getting in the way throughout the entire night. Our pictures were posted online just a few weeks after our wedding, which was such a treat! Overall, we were so impressed with Carmen and Ron Parks Photography and would highly recommend them!

Ron Parks is seriously the best photgrapher in Austin. Not only does he take great photos, but he is efficient. After the ceremony, Josh and I didn't want to spend a super long time taking group pictures because we wanted to hang out with our guests. Ron is great at gathering everybody for group shots, posing them, taking the pictures and moving on. He is also really "ninja-like." I did not see him much throughout the night but when he sent me the disc of our photos(which we got back in less than 2 weeks!), there were 556 pictures taken! Every single photo was perfect! Ron is amazing and you will be so happy with your photos if you choose him. The only bit of advice I can give is to call him early, he gets booked up quickly!!!

Ron Parks Photography, Amy Stewart specifically, is AMAZING!!! We hired Ron Parks Photography after dealing with a horrid photography situation in which our first photographer ruined our engagement pictures! Ron Parks was our first choice, but because of budget issues, we attempted to cut costs by selecting a less expensive photographer....BIG mistake! Ron Parks was very understanding of the situation and was able to work with our budget after all. Amy was our photographer and we fell in love with her work after our engagement session! She was so fun and laid back which made our session tons of fun! She also did the photography for my bridals and our wedding photographs. Words cannot describe how beautiful the photos were! She is truly gifted and captions the best moments! I highly suggest Ron Parks Photography for all your photography needs. They truly exemplify quality and excellence in their line of work!

Ron's photos truly captured the emotion of our wedding day. He was able to get photos of everything important and even though we were racing the sunset, he was able to get some beautiful and unique photos.

Absolutely amazing ~ I don't know how I would have gotten through the wedding without Ron Parks Photography! The pictures from the wedding are abolutely breathtaking. i can't stop looking at them! Since we were planning the wedding from out of town, Ron helped us throughout the wedding planning process. He gave us ideas for location, DJ, and the cake. It is amazing - when you mention Ron's name to wedding venues, their whole demenor changed. He is very well respected in the wedding industry and he knows his stuff! Carmen, from Ron Parks, even did all of the flowers for the wedding and she did an incredible job! I highly recommend him!

I used Ron Parks Photography for my Bridals and regret not using them for my wedding. I loved them so much I am trusting them again with my little sister. Although they are well established and have plenty to brag about Ron and his staff are extremely kind; taking all the time needed to explain everything in depth. Brides will be put at ease after meeting with this great group of people.

My husband and I are completely happy with the results. The sticker shock was well worth it when we saw the results...worth every dollar. They paid close attention to what we wanted and knew what shots we would appreciate. I have the best pictures of my husband, guests, puppies, and venues!

I just got my pictures back from Ron Parks Photography, and I am so pleased! They beat my expectations compeltely! My favorite part of the pictures is that they tell a story from the beginning to the end of the day. Several family members who weren't able to make it said they felt that they had been there since there were so many pictures to look at and choose from! Ron did a great job of taking the posed pictures I wanted for my album, but then also plenty of candid shots which I love! We paid for a second photographer to be there and by the end of the night there were nearly 1000 pictures. When you pay for a package, he'll give you a credit and one of the options is to get high resolution photos on CD. I only look through albums once in a while now-a-days, but I love having the pictures on my computer so I can browse them and show them to people, etc. I would recommednd this. And, even though there are "packages," Ron will let you substitute things out for you if you prefer something different. He was very flexible, and I appreciated that. The only reason I put 4.5 stars instead of 5 for quality was that there were a few pictures in the bridal room that had hangers or baskets in the background that I would have preferred to have been cropped out or just hidden at the time so that they wouldn't be in the way. Other than that, I love the photos!

I booked with Ron Parks on a Groupon and he has been very good at giving me some great advice. He is very down to earth and easy to communicate with, plus has been in this business for quite a while. I'm very excited to see our wedding photos after our event!

Pros: Ron's work is fantastic. He was so unobtrusive the day of the wedding, I can hardly believe the amazing shots he captured. My family is huge, so I had a friend in charge of a photo list and he didn't mind at all that she designated who belonged in what photos. I only paid for one photographer, but inquired on the cost of a second. I couldn't afford a second shooter, but he brought an assistant on the day of the wedding anyways. Our wedding photos were exactly what we wanted. Mostly traditional, with creative shots scattered throughout. He and his assistant Callie also did my bridal portraits and they were beyond phenomenal. I have received nothing but compliments on them.

Cons: Ron is 100% an in-person type of person. When it comes to working out your package and perhaps at a later date (when you discover you are way over budget) tweaking your package, you need to deal with Ron in person. He can come off negative in e-mail, but the second you go to work it out in person, he is fabulous.

Ron is great and took beautiful pictures of my wedding. The only reason I didn't give him all 5 stars was issues with his office staff. I found the initial print of my album unacceptable. They did work with me and eventually the issue was resolved. It just took an extra 3 months of wait time. Overall the pictures were great and I would recommend him.

We really enjoyed having Ron Parks provide the photography for our wedding; Heidi and Carmen were really great and took tons of beautiful pictures on our wedding day. All the guests commented that they felt like the photographers were everywhere and were adept at capturing all the events of the evening! Additionally, the cost and options available in their photography packages were good for what we were looking for and I was able to do my bridal portraits with them to have some time to get to know my personal photographer before the big day!

Ron Parks Photography did a wonderful job at my wedding. I have yet to see any photos, so Ill update my review once I know how they look, as it was on April 13,2013.
His prices are very reasonable for the photo coverage you get.
There was a little disorganization during the Bridal Party photos which was expected, but I figured since he's done this alot - he would have been a bit better at giving directives to participants. We barely got any shots because it was taking so long. I ended that early to join my guests...
He was very flexible in determining our package that was right for us. We wanted a photo booth with onsite prints so everyone could take a photo momento home and it was FABULOUS! 5 STARS
He brought the most fun props and had a printer set up right there! His assistants were great and very personable.
He let us customize our photo package and that was the best thing about it!

We got a great deal on our package at a Bridal Show so I can't complain too much. However, the pictures he ended up taking were more of random guests and very few of my family, so I was a little disappointed.

To tell the truth, I had some trouble with this photographer. 90% of the pictures were posed and the album I ordered in my contract came in way late. But in the end, Ron called and tried to get everything worked out. I finally got my wedding album in, and I must say it is very nice. So even though I wasn't pleased overall, the fact that Ron put so much effort into working things out shows that he still cares about his brides being happy.

I hired Ron at the Bridal Extravaganza because he gave us a great deal. As we were exchanging information I was a little put off that he was spending more time talking to my maid of honor than me, but didn't think it would be a big deal. We also hired Ron to do our engagement photos. He showed up almost 20 minutes late.
At my wedding however, I was disgusted by Ron's lack of professionalism and consideration for my day. He spent more time talking to my bridesmaid about taking her maternity photos than actually taking photos of me getting ready. When we went to take our formal pictures he completely disregarded my instructions and wasted our time arguing with me about how I wanted my pictures. We wanted very simple pictures with us and our parents and then one of our entire family. After he did my family the requested way he proceeded to take photos of my husband with different groups of his family and siblings. He even asked me to step out of these pictures. Not only was I offended that he did not respect my instructions for what I had paid him to do, but he made me look like I was purposely leaving my sister out of our family photos.
After my wedding I was shocked to hear what my guests had to say about Ron. My coworkers said that he followed them around and kept asking to take their picture. One of our groomsmen heard Ron say "I'm going to take a lot of pictures of that girl tonight" in reference to his fiance.
Once I received my photos I was amazed that he was 200 pictures short of what was promised in my contract. I also could not believe the inappropriate pictures he took of one of our groomsmen's fiances. He had pictures of her showing her tattoos, her sitting with my bridesmaids (not me), her in between all of the groom's party while they were getting ready and multiple shots of her dancing while I am cropped out of the picture. Not worth it at all.

The guy was nice but the pictures did not meet my expectations. I see pictures of other wedding and I am blown away so when I got my pictures I was LESS than impressed. We opted for a budget photographer and well...that's what we got. Take the advice from me and others, if you are going to cut costs...do not do it on the pictures. I'm beyond sad as this day only happens once. There are no redos.

He is cheap but so is his work

Ron lacks professional quality work. That is probably why he is so cheap. If you are looking for a budget photographer he is the way to go. If you want good quality look elsewhere. You get what you pay for

Extremely dissapointed. Fake rave reviews

Let me start by saying I usually do not post reviews...however I do NOT want another bride going through what I went through... Capturing the important moments on your wedding day is critical for any bride.
Choosing a photographer that could do this for me was a hard decision. It was
one aspect of my wedding that I did not want to skimp on, and having read stellar
reviews for ‘Ron Parks Photography’, my fiancee and I decided to go with him. Biggest mistake EVER. He did not provide us with a contract, nor did he call us to go over what size photos we would be getting. He did not offer to print the photos out (at our expense) on high quality paper. Much to my surprise after trying to get them printed they were HUGE. all the same size and huge so when I tried to get them printed they look distorted. There were crucial moments in our wedding that he did not capture. I am so upset. My advice, go physically meet with him invite him to the venue ask to see his RECENT work, ask for a CONTRACT....if you still feel he is the way to go then...good luck.

I would not hire this guy! We used him for a family shoot, and he tried to immediately upsell us to buy the whole cd. When I told him we'd like to see the pics full screen prior to deciding that, he became frustrated and said it would take 2-3 weeks to see the pics if I didn't buy the cd. I said that was fine.
That was 6 weeks ago! I have yet to see any pictures! AND he won't return my calls or emails, which I've been leaving for over 2 weeks now.
I've given him every chance to respond and make this right.
I wouldn't trust him to capture any precious moments....I'm not one to complain but I'm furious about this, and the time and effort I wasted on this unprofessional photographer.

Capturing the important moments on your wedding day is critical for any bride.
Choosing a photographer that could do this for me was a hard decision. It was
one aspect of my wedding that I did not want to skimp on, and having heard good
reviews for ‘Ron Parks Photography’, my fiancee and I decided to go with him.

However, we now regret this decision owing to several extremely unprofessional
actions on his part. Having arrived over one hour late, Mr. Parks created a rushed and tense atmosphere, being rude to the family and guests and making people feel both uncomfortable and on edge.

The last thing one want to happen is to have someone snapping at your mother on one of the most important days of your life, and hers too. Sad to say, there were no photographs captured of those poignant moments shared with my husband and myself, or of important family members, some of whom had traveled great distances to attend.

Unfortunately, Ron Parks hired someone he had known for only two weeks to be both
videographer and assistant. Not only had she no video experience, she had a long history of theft in Travis County and went on to steal one of my bridesmaid’s purses.

Not only did it take a long time to get our wedding photos, but Ron Parks would not return our messages or e-mails for a lengthy amount of time.
Having been promised our wedding photos within two weeks of the event, we had to wait for almost a month. Mr. Parks litany of excuses for the extremely unprofessional photographs left us in shock and with heavy hearts. Fortunately, and thankfully, my father took some really beautiful and memorable photographs, as did my bridesmaids.
Mr. Parks did agreed to a refund, claiming he had been having a very difficult time.
In such a case, that is not the time one would dispatch to photograph a couple’s most memorable day, and therefore, I would not recommend Ron Parks as a photographer owing to the fact that he exhibits totally unprofessional behavior.
