Great view! Sweet people! I was amazed at how willing everyone was to help. Easy access for parking and getting things set. And you have options for indoor or outdoor setup.

MY DREAM LOCATION! Rip was amazing! The setting was beautiful and so perfect! Jamie was awesome to work with and always very clear in her communication, they are extremely busy so I could not always get an answer right then and there... but my questions were always answered in a timely manner! Thank you all for an amazing wedding :)

Jamie was great to work with and she really helped to make our special day everything we dreamed of! She made sure we had everything we wanted and went out of her way to accommodate us! Rip Van Winkle is the most beautiful place to have a wedding!

Rip Van Winkle Gardens was by far the most beautiful venue that we looked at for our wedding. They worked with us to turn our wedding day into the one we had always dreamed of, and at a highly reasonable price. We've gotten nothing but compliments from everyone who attended!

Such a beautiful site to have your ceremony and reception.

The wedding and reception were beautiful. I could not have asked for a more beautiful setting. with the oak trees and lake, we did not have to do very much for the reception site. And the Bayless Center was a perfect location for the reception. It truly was a magical place. The venue price is a bit high, but that included rentals and the bar. It is still expensive when compared to other places, but you do get a gorgeous setting.

Beautiful place for a wedding. My only concern is that when it comes to the wedding you are basically on your own. To me for as much money as you spend over there they should also have a wedding planner included. Other then that I highly reccomend this place.

Absolutely beautiful location! Service staff on wedding day were amazing but for the price, I found the coordinator a bit lacking during the planning process and on wedding day. Definitely hire your own planner for things to run a bit more smoothly!

Our wedding day was perfect for us and we would love to give the venue 5 stars but we want to leave an honest review. This being said, I never even met the coordinator Angie except for briefly when we signed our contract. At that time, the venue had a different coordinator and Angie was training. She didn’t greet us when we went for the rehearsal, she didn’t say one word to us during the reception. She was in the process of taking over the role of coordinator from Jamie (the previous coordinator) and I never got a heads up that we had to have another meeting a month before the wedding date. We DID have our own day of coordinator so maybe that’s why she was more hands off, so I highly recommend hiring your own coordinator to make the night go smooth, because Angie’s job is more for organizing the venue’s workers not your own vendors.
There was also a stray dog roaming around the grounds that got in the middle of our pictures. He looked stray but was friendly enough. No one knew who he belonged to and he was RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the aisle as the procession went down….the entire ceremony. Angie was never around so we had no one to ask to remove the dog, and no one wanted to grab a dog that wasn’t theirs.
Like I said earlier, our wedding day was perfect for us and we loved the location and the cabin, but not being greeted by the venue’s coordinator and having a random dog crash the wedding are the reasons we decided to rate this venue

Angie was great to work with through the Covid wedding insanity! She was available to chat consistently and was very communicative when I needed her. The bayless center was updated and wonderful. Obviously the property is gorgeous and magical. I wish the honeymoon suite that come with the venue was available at a decent time on the day of wedding, as we had to book it an additional night in order to get ready there. We were woken up before 8 am with leaf blowers and the next round of wedding parties for the following evening. Venue great, Angie was good to work with, little frustrating with accommodations, but would overall recommend RVW Gardens.

Gorgeous location. Make sure to hire a good wedding planner, florist and caterer. Basically you are getting a beautiful scenic location overlooking the water under the oaks, all other details are up to you. Their wedding coordinator was hard to reach and communicate with most of the time, I relied on my planner and florist who had tons of experience. Those two ladies made the details of the wedding day come together.

The location is beautiful and to some may be worth the annoyances. They are not very good at answering questions or returning phone calls- also they take care of the drinks at the reception, which are charged per person- and I was charged for a lot more people than were actually there. I'm not sure what you can do to prevent that, but it is something to keep in mind!
