Ricky is amazing!! He is a talented photographer and we are so happy with all our photos. He is easy to get along with and incredibly organized which is very helpful on wedding day! Ricky truly cares about his craft and he takes his time to teach you how to pose and make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Would highly recommend to anyone out there looking for their photographer still! -

Ricky is absolutely phenomenal!
From our first phone call, he was so excited and enthusiastic about our special day. He was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had leading up to our wedding day. When our wedding day came, he made sure to get every single shot we asked for (which was quite a list), and then some. But his attitude and personality didn't make it feel like work and we were all so comfortable working with him.
He also got our pictures back to us so quickly! My husband and I were able to enjoy our photo gallery while we were on our honeymoon. -

Excellent!!
Ricky is simply amazing!! From the first time working together on our engagement photoshoot to our actual wedding day, Ricky worked his magic, and the pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I are both very awkward in front of the camera, but under Ricky's guidance, our pictures turned out so beautiful. I simply can't believe that was us in the pictures. I remembered the day of our engagement photoshoot, it was extremely cold, but that didn't stop Ricky from creating beautiful pictures. Then, fast forward to our wedding this past weekend, Ricky was able to get all the pictures (and more) that I wanted with my family and friends. He really did a spectacular job at capturing our special moment. THANK YOU SO MUCH RICKY FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!! Also, thank you, Federico, for all your hard work in helping to capture our special moment. You two make a great team and truly helped make our day extra special. You guys made us laugh the entire day and made taking pictures less awkward and more enjoyable for us--THANK YOU!! 25 year vow renewal
My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th anniversary and returned to our original church to renew our vows. When Ricky promotes himself as a story teller, that is exactly what he does. He captured the joy and love we share with each other and our 2 teenage sons in beautiful and memorable pictures. Ricky is professional, kind and completely focused on you and your event. I would highly recommend Ricky Cheung Photography! -

Dreams do come true during COVID
Beyond thrilled with Ricky would be an understatement! Having a wedding during COVID changed everything and Ricky adjusted as necessary and was still able to capture our amazing day. He's energetic, engaging, very fun to work with and put everyone at ease. He captured the moments within the setting and made every body comfortable. All the pictures look and feel natural and they reveal the essence of the emotion happening in each shot. Friends who were not able to join us on the day said your photographer really captured such great moments it made me feel like I was there. He created a beautiful story that we will have forever. We can't wait to work with him again. Thank you Ricky! -

The Best Wedding Photographer!
I don’t usually write reviews on businesses, but I know the importance of real testimonies from previous clients. I, just like you, was a nervous bride wanting to find the perfect photographer for the best day ever. The wedding day may be a one-day event, so it is important to have beautiful pictures to relive the moment over and over again. Look no further, Ricky is your guy! It is our absolute pleasure to write this review for Ricky. From the first initial phone conversation with Ricky, we knew that he was going to the perfect match for us. We’ve decided to book Ricky for our engagement & wedding photos. He is the utmost professional photographer and is very organized. His personality is very calming and reassuring so you know that everything will be okay! We typically look awkward in our photos, but Ricky was able to capture our love story perfectly. He is patient and willing to guide you to get the best pictures ever! Yes, he will definitely go out of the way, get down and “dirty” to get you those amazing scenic shots. (Even if that means climbing on unsteady rocks and chasing a flock of geese #truestory) I’ve received so many compliments from family and friends about how beautiful our wedding pictures came out. We cannot thank Ricky enough for his hard work on our engagement & wedding day, 10/10 will recommend! -

Ricky is fantastic. He takes fantastic photos, and is professional, warm and kind. He always has a smile on his face and it was a pleasure to work with Ricky from start to finish. Ricky is great at capturing candid moments as well as really nicely framed portrait shots, and knows how to work the crowd unobtrusively. Ricky was very responsive both pre and post event, and got final pictures back in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Ricky for your next event! -

Ricky was by far our favorite vendor! He was skilled, artistic, inspired, professional, amazing! He truly went above and beyond on the wedding day and we would use him a million times over. He captured our wedding exactly as we had hoped. His professionalism really helped set the tone for the rest of the vendors and he did an amazing job. We were instantly comfortable with him! We planned a wedding in a few weeks and Ricky came right along for the ride! From step 1 he was upbeat and easygoing, worked with us on figuring out exactly what we wanted. We're not much for pictures, but Ricky made the process fun and less intimidating! He was creative, punctual, and balanced more "traditonal" wedding photos with more artsy ones. 5 stars, would recommend to everyone -

Ricky did an AMAZING job! The engagement photos and wedding photos looked outstanding. Ricky was a true professional. He was incredibly responsive, helpful, attentive, punctual – and really went above and beyond to make sure the wedding was beautifully captured. Ricky was extremely professional and accommodating from our first consultation to the wedding day. A big part of the reason why we chose him was because he was so personable and seemed to truly care about us. The wedding day was hectic, but Ricky made sure to get all the shots in and worked around our schedule while making us feel comfortable. The pictures came out awesome and we couldn't be happier! -

We were fortunate to have found Ricky through my now brother & sister-in-law. They used him for their wedding and their photos were absolutely stunning. So stunning that my sister-in-law's brother and sister used them for their wedding as well. Needless to say he did an amazing job for all and after we saw their pictures we looked no further. Every wedding has a hiccup, ours was that my now mother-in-law was an hour late. Ricky handled it with such professionalism and made the best use of all the time. He got in wonderful shots of the groomsmen and the venue & was able to capture all of the important moments we wanted in such an effortless beautiful way. He was great to work with, so funny, personable but direct and made sure we and the bridal party knew where to be and expedited our photo taking time so that we could enjoy the reception. We had a great tine working with him and hope to work with him again. Ricky was also priced fairly. After hearing what some brides I know paid I was floored and so glad we were able to book him! This was one of the vendors I was most concerned with. This is the only record we will have of our wedding in years to come since we chose not to have videography. And you’re spending the whole day with this person! Thankfully, Ricky is amazing!! He was the first photographer we met with, and I knew I wanted to book with him on the spot! He took the time to go through what the whole day would be like by scrolling through a recent wedding he shot. It was definitely helpful to get a sense of what would happen. Ricky is knowledgable and calm, and I love his style of photography.
I can’t stress enough how great it was working with him. I had a mini panic attack a week and a half before the wedding when I realized that we needed to go off-site for 1st look photos. Ricky called me and we spoke about it. We worked on the timeline, and I rescheduled everything (hair, makeup, limos, venue arrival time), and it was so worth the aggravation! I’m sure our pics will look amazing.
We booked a 2nd shooter (Federico) through him, and he was also great...the bridal party had a blast with him while we were taking our own shots. I cannot wait to see our pics! They were awesome to work with on the big day. My husband and I are not what you would call "naturals" in front of the camera, but Ricky made things so easy. We felt totally comfortable and had a great time! They took so many pictures…honestly, it cannot be an easy job, especially since he was essentially with us for 12 hours! He made sure that we got all the shots we wanted.
I was really impressed with the albums he brought for us to see. I wasn't going to get an album at first, but he does such an amazing job, that I just had to have one for us!

We could not have picked a better photographer to capture the love, emotion, and fun that went into our wedding day. Ricky has a talent of telling stories through his photography. Our wedding was one of my favorite days, but went so quickly. We feel incredibly fortunate that Ricky was able to photograph our event, as each of his pictures brings us right back to that moment in time, and will allow us to remember how we felt on this day for many years to come.
One of our favorite parts of Ricky's work is that he has the gift of capturing brief moments and preserve these moments in a photograph. We loved the photographs that captured a hidden smile between two guests, a tear on someone's face, a true laugh. If you take a look, you will see, Ricky's pictures tell speak for themselves. -

It was such a pleasure working with Ricky and Anabelle on our wedding day. We received our photos within 7 weeks and they are amazing! Ricky is extremely reliable and responsive to any questions we had which made the entire process of long-distance wedding planning less stressful since we had to select a photographer based solely on reviews and we are so pleased that he was our photographer! He was punctual on the wedding day and his enthusiastic energy kept the bridal party going for the entire day considering most of us were exhausted from having to be up quite early for prep. Overall, we had a great experience with Ricky and absolutely love his work! He captured all the beautiful moments from our wedding with photos that we will cherish as memories forever! -

Ricky and his partner photographed my wedding and I'm so amazed and happy with my pictures. Ricky was so funny and easy to work with the day of my wedding. He had my bridal party laughing which makes it fun to take pictures and removes the stress of wedding day drama. He was on time and professional. We can't even begin to express how happy we are that we worked with Ricky on our wedding day! It's clear when you take a look at his work that he has a very artistic eye, and that was what drew us to him in the first place. We are so thrilled with how our photos turned out - from the traditional, posed and impromptu photographs to the romantic, artistic and creative photos Ricky took, we are just ecstatic. Our engagement photos were also unbelievable - we've received so many compliments on both sets of photographs! Our friends and family all thought it looked like the photos belonged in magazines. Ricky & Kathy also really took their time with us for the engagement photos, and we truly appreciated that. In addition to a tremendous finished product (and as someone who looked at A LOT of photographers, I can say with confidence that Ricky's work surpasses all of them and at a very reasonable cost), Ricky, Kathy and Freddie were truly all a pleasure to spend time with - you don't realize how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day and even on engagement photos, and someone who is both easy-going and pleasant yet has clear direction, like Ricky, is hard to find. And, not only were Ricky & Freddie top-notch photographers on our 96 degree wedding day, they also saved the day when they chauffeured us after our wedding limo arrived without air conditioning!
I can't recommend Ricky Cheung Photography enough - if you choose Ricky, it will be the best decision you make for your wedding! A million thanks, Ricky! -

Ricky and Kathy are Great! Ricky had a lot of reasons to be upset with so many people taking pictures and different personalities but he was always light-hearted and very funny. Ricky is very detailed and makes sure he captures every moment of your day. He makes sure that you get what you want and his work is Awesome! He was another vendor that was with you every step of the way even coming to my rehearsal dinner. What more could you ask? Ricky was with us every step of the way and made sure we had every shot. Ricky did an outstanding job at our wedding and also with the engagement shoot. He has an amazing eye and is very artistic. It was super easy to work with him - he's funny, makes everyone feel at ease and at the same time very professional. Ricky showed up on time, brought his best, he even set up a display of photos in the reception room so people could watch photos from the ceremony - everyone loved it!!!

Ricky Cheung is a fantastic photographer!!! He did a great job for my wife and I (and she is hard to please). Our wedding was last september and we still look at our photos everyday.
Before the wedding, he was always responsive to our questions and requests. I felt really comfortable asking him any question. On the day of the wedding he went above & beyond to accomodate us. The end result was pictures we are happy to call our wedding album.
He captures the true moments of the wedding and for that we are forever grateful. I have recommended him to 2 of my friends and both were happy with his work. -

My wedding was such a wonderful party, but after it has ended, only the memories are to last. If it wasn't the photos, it would have all gone. I still feel so happy when I see my wedding pictures, hanging many of them all around the walls of my house. And I still smile when I see photos that remind me of special moments... Thanks to Ricky and Kathy, who really did a great effort that day. Such a talented couple, really know when to capture the right moment, when you wish this moment lasts forever. They work in so much harmony, completing each other's work. Such a perfect match !! I look at my wedding pictures every single day and they make me SO happy. Ricky not only did an incredible job capturing each moment but he is so kind, calm and easy to work with. When getting ready at my house, you barely knew he was there just doing his thing. And then at the wedding reception he was everywhere but never to be seen unlike other photographers that are SO in your face. He capture moments that I didn't even remember because the nights goes by so fast or see because there was so much going on. I honestly didn't ask him to take one picture or give him a shot list, he just knows what to it. Ricky was so wonderful my sister is going to use him for her wedding. I would recommend him a million times over. -

Ricky and his partner Feddy were an absolute pleasure to work with. They arrived early to scope the venue and worked nonstop throughout the day to capture our wedding day. I cannot wait to see the final product, but I know they will be amazing based on Ricky’s work with the engagement photos. Even before the wedding, Ricky made himself available to answer all our questions and concerns, and worked with us on scheduling to make sure the day ran smoothly. Speaking to Ricky was always like hanging out with an old friend. Ricky is truly amazing. -

The reality is the most important vendor is the Photographer, to capture all those significant details and tell your wedding story and relive the moment when you looked at each other's eyes and said, "I Do!" At the end of the night all your left is with those memories captured in a storybook. Ricky was able to do this and much more. He has a very warm personality that makes you feel comfortable, and it reflects in his work. We have received a number of compliments from friends and family, and are truly happy to have found him.
We definitely recommend him, you won't regret it!! -

Ricky and his wife are an amazing team. We connected with them from the very beginning and they were nothing but professional the day of the event. They arrived on time and made us feel at ease during the portraits and just did an amazing job capturing our day. At one point it was pouring rain and despite being completely soaked, they never complained and captured one of the best pictures in the entire album! They also surprised us with a slideshow set up at the reception with some pictures from earlier in the day so our guests can get a sneak peek. We asked nicely and they gave us a discount :) One minor suggestion is maybe use a USB instead of CD with the gallery of images since some computers don't come with CD drives. We are incredibly happy with the photos! -

Sit back and relax they know what they doing and they do a fabulous job at it. I'm more then satisfied with everything and I love my album. As a bride I know how important those wedding pictures are and Ricky wont let you down. My husband and i are more then happy with his work. He wont let you down. I'm sure of it. -
