We got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing a job Kayelily did for our ceremony! And on our side it was even better, since she had the resources and expertise to make what could have been a stressful process a total breeze. First, she provided us with several templates, which allowed us to spark ideas and pick and choose the ceremony that would make our day special. She then seamlessly weaved together our stories into a beautiful narrative, which helped set the stage for the whole evening. I would absolutely recommend working with Kayelily! From the very first phone call she was warm and kind, and she was a clear and timely communicator - mostly via email but the occasional phone call as well. She provided a lot of material to help us write our ceremony and we felt that our story was well incorporated into the ceremony. She worked well with our coordinator to make sure everything went exactly as planned for the day of. Kayelily is also affirming, and was great to work with as a same-sex couple. Reverend Kayelily provided us with such a heartfelt experience! Her guidance through this process was incredible and she made it her top priority to fully customize every detail of our ceremony. We felt the upmost support in her communication style and we loved every personal touch she recommended. We could not have been happier with Kayelily as our wedding officiant! From the very beginning, she was kind, attentive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We were thrilled to learn she came highly recommended by our venue, Highgrove Estate — and even more delighted to realize she had already officiated my sister’s wedding at The Bradford back in December 2018. The Perfect Wedding
Reverend Kayelily is the absolute best. Couldn't have asked for a better ceremony, wedding and day. Everything seemed to have gone perfectly for us and that has to do in part to Reverend Kayelily. She was thorough, well-prepared, knowledgeable and most importantly she made it easy and fun. I was a bundle of nerves going into the wedding, but she had everything planned down to a T. The worst thing, having to stand in front of a crowd but when everything else goes so smoothly, in hindsight that doesn't seem too bad. “I think that was the best wedding ceremony I’ve been to!” - many of our guests during cocktail hour. Our ceremony was just perfect and that wouldn’t have been possible without Kayelily. We wanted a personalized ceremony that was a reflection of our love story and Kayelily helped us bring that to life. She gave us all the tools so we could write the ceremony of our dreams. But a story is only as good as the story teller and Kayelily has a gift- she’s a great story teller.

I was lucky enough to see Kayelily officiate my cousin’s wedding. I knew then if I ever were to get married I wanted her to officiate it. When my fiancé and I got engaged, she was one of the first people I knew I had to book. We reached out and she luckily had our Friday the 13th date open!! We booked and from then on the communication was amazing. She cultivated the perfect ceremony and made it so emotional and authentic to us. She weaves together answers that both Michael and I gave to questions that she sends and narrated our love story. Michael and I did not want to read our own vows, but she has a secret paragraph that you hear the day of the wedding. It is perfect and many of our guests commented on the ceremony. Kayelily was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We almost went with a different officiant before we heard about Kayelily and we are so glad we didn’t. She is organized, experienced, and so sweet. She helps you come up with the ceremony of your dreams. She wears a microphone which is so nice because I have been to so many weddings where I could not hear the officiant. My grandparents sat on the porch of our venue - which was quite far from her and they heard everything perfectly. We had so many people compliment our ceremony and people are still talking about it, and how well she did, 1 month later! We got married 05/20/22 -- Kayelily was always quick to reply to us, easy to work with, and supplied us with more than enough material to help us create the ceremony of our dreams. Kayelily stood out from other officiants because she really guides you and allows you to put together your story in a ceremony that (easily) represents you and your significant other. It was really customized to us, and it felt special. We didn't have an especially religious ceremony and felt comfortable with her; but we could have felt equally as comfortable if we were highly religious, she just makes you feel that at ease. Wonderful Personal and Professional Ceremony
Kayelily was so sweet and professional throughout the process of preparing our ceremony. Her experience shines through in her suggestions for word count and flow to deliver a ceremony that our guests were raving about at the reception. She was very accommodating to our ceremony touches that were personal to our family and had endless number of ideas that she shared with us as we came up with our own vows to exchange with our kids and each other. Kayelily deserves a 10 star review! She was incredibly helpful even months before the wedding. On our first Zoom call with her we immediately clicked and knew she would do an outstanding job. We had a slight weather delay for our ceremony but Kayelily did an amazing job of adjusting the ceremony script in order to get everyone to cocktail hour on time because she knew how important that was to us. We would highly recommend her to anyone planning their wedding!

Fantastic and efficient
Kayelily was our wedding officiant on 4.23/22 at Oaks at Salem in Apex, NC. We have no words to express our gratitude to her ! Kayelily was amazing from beginning to end. Kayelily has a great process that allows couples to be involved in the planning and organizing of their ceremony - we were a little particular on how we wanted certain phrasing during the ceremony, and she absolutely rocked it. After the wedding, many, many people told us how much they enjoyed the ceremony and it was one of the better, well-paced ceremonies that they attended. Kayelily was worth every penny and I would recommend her services to absolutely anyone!

Amazing, one of a kind officiant
I can not recommended Kayelily enough!! She was the officiant at our wedding in April and it was absolutely fabulous! How she works with you as a couple to create your one of a kind ceremony is amazing and truly a unique experience. Our ceremony was fun, unique, intimate, and all our guests told us how much they loved our ceremony and Kayelily! None of the wedding guests had been to a ceremony like that, it really made the day so special and tailored to us as a couple. I highly recommend Kayelily!

It was such a pleasure to have Kayelily officiate our wedding! She was responsive from the very beginning when we reached out to inquire about her availability for our date and continued to be timely and professional throughout the entire process. A personalized and special wedding ceremony
Kayelily provided pre-marriage counseling and officiated our wedding. Throughout the process, she offered a wealth of info and tricks for designing our ceremony, including a library of templates/resources. She did an amazing job writing a personalized ceremony for us. Kayelily came highly recommend from our venue. We are super glad we went with Kayelily. She took the time to get to know us. This allowed her to tell our love story to the guests in attendance. This meant a personalized story that you won’t hear at a wedding conducted by an officiant not named Kayelily.

Amazing Experience
My husband and I got married with a very small group during COVID last year and then had our big celebration a few weeks ago. Kayelily was nice enough to officiate our small ceremony last year, and even edited our ceremony to fit the intimate setting. She also officiated our big celebration this year with the most amazing ceremony! We loved being able to work together to write out the perfect ceremony that fit our needs and wants. We are not a religious couple, so we were able to make a ceremony that was more about our love story and how we feel about each other. We received so many compliments from our guests that they loved our ceremony and that it was so different from the status quo. Kayelily is also so easy to work with! She provided many ideas and options for our ceremony but also let us choose what we wanted to do. She always responds to emails so quickly and is always willing to help. Kayelily was exactly what we needed for our wedding! She is extremely organized and thorough leading up to and during the ceremony itself. She personalizes your ceremony just for you- telling the story of how you met, fell in love, and chose to marry. Make sure you bring your tissues, because she will also ask each partner to tell her what they love about the other and why they want to marry, and she will weave it into a beautiful sentiment that you'll hear for the first time at your ceremony!
The first thing our guests said after the ceremony was how great it was! Even some of our closest friends and family did not know all the details of how we met, so they loved to hear the story! Not a dry eye in the house. :)

Wonderful experience
Reverend Kayelily was brought to us by my grandparents vow renewal. When my (now husband) proposed to me, and mom reminded me of this, I just knew we had to ask for her assistance in making our day perfect. And perfect she did make it - she was absolutely wonderful and wrote our story to tell everyone better than even I could have imagined. There wasn't a dry eye in the ceremony and it was all thanks to her wonderful story telling. Reverend Kayelily doesn't forget anything, and knows what questions to ask to help make our vows perfect. Even when my husband and I forgot to enter how we wanted the exchanging of rings to be in the ceremony, she knew exactly what route to take to insert that portion and it was so wonderful. We absolutely loved her and wouldn't have wanted anyone else for our special day!

Working with Kayelily was an incredible experience from meeting with her at our initial visit, doing premarital counseling with her (not required but a great option and super cool process if you're looking to do it!), to having to change our date due to COVID, she was there for us every step of the way! Our completely customizable ceremony really showed who we are as a couple and our guests loved it! Since we had gotten married in a small ceremony earlier due to COVID, Kayelily was willing to be flexible and help change our big ceremony to be exactly what we hoped. Perfect ceremony from a great officiant
Kayelily was an amazing officiant for our ceremony. We learned of her from our wedding planner, she had done many weddings at our venue. We are not a very religious couple so we wanted someone who could provide a meaningful ceremony that matched our values and our quirky personalities. We really lucked out and had the perfect officiant - she was able to get to know us (by zoom, cause well, 2020...) through several meetings. She had a great library of ceremonies we were able to read through and learn what things we did and did not want in our wedding. Through our feedback, surveys and interactions, she created a ceremony that described our relationship like she had been with us since day 1. We were incredibly happy with the entire experience!

We really enjoyed working with Kayelily to make a memorable, inclusive wedding ceremony. My husband and I wanted to create a same-sex, interfaith ceremony that incorporated meaningful parts of both our backgrounds and honored our family and friends. Kayelily provided numerous suggestions for ceremony design, elements to include, flow, etc. We also held several pre-marriage sessions with her and she provided really helpful guidance and advice for us as we started our married life together. After the pandemic struck, we were unable to have our ceremony as planned and opted to be legally married before our postponed wedding date. We again worked with Kayelily tweak our ceremony to change our vows/ring exchange to a Blessing of the Hands and modify the ceremony script to reflect how we'd grown during the pandemic. During the ceremony, she captured the audience's attention and imagination, telling our story in a heartfelt, authentic manner. Our guests really enjoyed hearing her tell our story, and spoke, texted, and emailed us after to compliment the ceremony and Kayelily. We could not be happier with how our ceremony turned out, and how Kayelily contributed to our special day.

Perfect Choice for our Small Covid Ceremony
I'm so happy we connected with Kayelily and she was able to officiate our wedding! Kayelily was able to accommodate us fairly last minute when we decided to switch from a courthouse wedding to a small outdoor wedding. She was responsive and communicative as we were planning our small event. We were overwhelmed with were to start with a ceremony and vows and her guidance was a great help! And finally her delivery at our event was perfect! We loved the way she read the words we had arrived at and everyone present commented on how great the ceremony and her delivery was.

The most sweet and personal ceremony we could have ever hoped for!
Although Reverend Kayelily only knew us through our email exchanges, the ceremony she created made it seem like she had known us for years. It was extremely personal, sweet, and exactly what we were looking for. Our friends and family were extremely impressed! Kayelily was professional, responsible, kind, and supportive throughout the whole process. She also was extremely cautious with safety during these crazy times. We can't recommend her enough! Great Officiant
Reverend Kayelily did a great job at my elopement ceremony. My now husband and I booked her services for a 2020 wedding. When we decided to scale things down from our original wedding plan, Kayelily was very flexible and happy to work with us and the changes that we made. She made the process of choosing our vows and type of ceremony very simple and she was easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend her to any couples looking for an officiant in the area.

You won’t regret it!
Kayelily was the perfect choice to officiate our wedding! When our wedding plans were significantly impacted by COVID, we had to adapt and we were lucky to find Kayelily had our availability on our scheduled wedding date. She was able to assist us with the marriage license process. The best part was the ceremony and vows which Kayelily provided to us and allowed us to add our own stamp on. Scheduling and planning our small ceremony was easy since Kayelily has done so many weddings in the area. Our intimate ceremony at the North Carolina Museum of Art was perfect! Despite these challenging times, we feel very fortunate we were able to still have our wedding while staying safe and Kayelily was so sweet, professional, and easy to work with. Whether you plan on having 50 guests or 5 at your ceremony, we would recommend Kayelily for your wedding officiant!

Kayelily was amazing ! She took us through months and months of changed dates and changed plans during this difficult time (a pandemic ). She was super kind and responsive even if I just needed to express frustration. We finally married in her backyard !!! For Kayelily this is more than just a job. She truly gets satisfaction from bringing loved ones together and uniting soulmates in holy matrimony. Everyone at the ceremony was touched by her words. Reverend Kayelily Middleton was the officiant for our leap day 2020 wedding, and we could not recommend her more highly. She listened to all of our concerns and then helped us design a customized ceremony for our wedding that shared our story with our loved ones. We have gotten so many compliments about the ceremony, including how entertaining Kayelily was, and how she must be an old family friend because it seemed like she’s known us for years. She is amazing at her job, probably because she has married thousands of couples! She guided us through the logistics of getting the marriage license, knew exactly what to do in the rehearsal, and will help design a ceremony just for you.

Wonderful personalized ceremony!!!
We could not have been happier with Kayelily as our officiant! We had her perform a personalized ceremony for us that left our guests alternately laughing and crying. She really helped us make our day special by letting us inject our personalities into the ceremony. We had several guests come up to us after the wedding to ask how we found her, if that tells you anything! Kayelily made the overwhelming process very easy by taking us along the way step by step and was very personable and professional.

The perfect officiant for our wedding!
We booked Kayelily to be our officiant for our wedding on October 5th. Kayelily was the best choice we could've made! My husband and I live out of state, but she made it extremely easy to plan our ceremony and was very quick to respond to any emails or questions we had. I had multiple wedding guests approach me during the reception and tell me just how beautiful of a ceremony it was and how many even teared up hearing the beautiful words Kayelily put together about us. I loved how personal our ceremony was and I will always cherish the vows and special memories she helped us create of our day. Unique, Personalized and Professional
My husband and I chose to have Kayelily officiate our ceremony about a year before our wedding. We first found her based on the phenomenal online reviews and then scheduled a time to meet in person. At this meeting Kayelily walked us through her entire process for creating each ceremony and she also gave us helpful information on obtaining our marriage license and getting a name change after the wedding.
We left the meeting confident that we'd be able to create a ceremony unique to us and our story, which was very important to us. Kayelily was helpful with input throughout the process, but also let us take our time on figuring out how we wanted the ceremony laid out. It's up to each couple how customized they'd like the ceremony to be.
I can't begin to tell you how many people came up to us after the ceremony, wrote to us afterwards, and are still telling us months later how amazing the ceremony was. I would highly recommend working with Kayelily. She's professional, has a great sense of humor, and really wants the ceremony to be unique to the couple.

Reverend Kayelily officiated our wedding on April 13, 2019. She was so sweet and welcomed us to her home so that we can have our initial meeting and talk about the type of ceremony we wanted. She’s so down to earth and funny which helped make the planning process that more enjoyable. Kayelily was very thorough and even walked us through the process of getting our marriage license, marriage certificate and even changing my last name. She was so accommodating and allowed much flexibility so that our ceremony matched our personalities. My favorite part of working with Kayelily was that she had us answer questions about each- From those answers, she prepared our beautiful background story and even shared secret paragraphs about what we loved about each other during our ceremony. Wedding Officiant
We had the pleasure of having Kayelily for our Christmas Wedding in December. She was amazing! She made our ceremony so unique and personal to fit us exactly. Wonderful, professional and kind!
Without Kayelily we wouldn't have been married - and I don't just mean it literally. She helped create and amazing story about how we met, what made us fall in love, and our journey together. She made the day so special and important, and even the guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was.
Moreover, we were both kind of scared about saying things out loud, so she said our vows for us and that was so helpful! Neither of us are religious and she took that into account to still make the most beautiful ceremony ever. I also have to say that I find her voice so pleasing to hear, and that was great during the ceremony too. She also coordinated her outfit with us which looked beautiful.
