Rebecca is the best of the best!!!

Rebecca was hands down our easiest choice when it came to vendors for our Big Island wedding in June. The moment we looked at her blog and Instagram, we were completely blown away by her photography. She has such an eye for the angles and does a beautiful job with her edits. Not only did Rebecca deliver on the most stunning wedding photos we could have ever dreamt of, she was so much fun to work with. She encouraged all of our silly shots and did an incredible job capturing all of the emotions of our big day. 10/10 would recommend Rebecca!!!

Rebecca is SO talented! She and her husband did a fantastic job of capturing our wedding day; I loved the little details they put into framing detail shots (with the rings, the vows, etc.). If you needed a sign, THIS IS IT - Rebecca is the best!

It comes as zero surprise to me that every rating on here is 5 stars. Rebecca is a true pro at what she does and was a major blessing on our wedding day. I was immediately drawn to Rebecca's work after seeing her film photos and reading the referrals, but after we connected on the phone for the first time I knew I would be a fool not to lock in her availability. Hiring Rebecca is 1000% worth the investment - she is incredibly talented, thoughtful, and exceeded any expectation I had. She is the calm, intentional professional who feels like a friend, the exact kind of person you want surrounding you on your wedding day. She wastes no time and strikes the perfect balance of giving direction to get the shots you wanted + space to capture the candid moments you will cherish most. Rebecca went above and beyond supporting our wedding - I am blown away by how well she captured the spirit of the day, the beauty of Hawaii, and every detail we hoped for and more. Of all the details/vendors that are a part of planning a wedding, finding a good photographer was the most important to me. I did extensive research and I am super picky, and I can honestly say Rebecca was the best decision we could have made. She has a gift! Our Dream Wedding Photographer!

When I started wedding planning, Rebecca Arthurs was immediately our dream photographer and I am so grateful to have gotten to work with her and be one of her brides! She did both our engagement photos and wedding day and I cannot put into words how amazing our experiences were with her. As a couple who can be a little shy around the camera, she made us feel comfortable and guided us on our poses when we weren't sure what to do. Our pictures look so natural and don't have that "staged" look so many wedding photos do. She really captured our personalities so well. I also loved that she shot both digitally and with real film - our photos are breathtaking and have so much character. We can't recommend Rebecca enough!

I cannot even begin to describe what an amazing experience it has been working with Rebecca Arthurs, and cannot thank her enough for being part of our wedding! I knew immediately from looking at Rebecca’s photos and her portfolio of work that I wanted to work with her, and I was thrilled when she told us she was available to shoot our wedding. She has this beautiful and romantic style that I absolutely adored. But not only are Rebecca’s photos outstanding, but she is beyond amazing as well. She is so sweet and an absolute delight to work with. From our first conversation, I could tell that she really wanted to get to know me and my husband, and wanted to create photos that really told our love story. Rebecca was also extremely responsive and helpful, answering any questions that we had. Then, on our wedding day, she made me and my husband feel so relaxed in front of the camera --- we had such a blast shooting with her! Finally, when we received our photos a few days ago, we were truly blown away! I knew Rebecca would do a good job with them, but these were so incredibly stunning!!! She captured our wedding day in such a beautiful fashion --- it was truly magical! And to top it off, she sent us a beautiful wooden box with some prints of our photos and the USB drive which was also made of a beautiful wood --- no detail goes overlooked with Rebecca. Rebecca Arthurs is how every wedding photographer should be. She is so calming, sweet and insanely talented. Along with capturing our wedding day so beautifully, she was so thoughtful and personable throughout the entire experience leading up to the big day. Between multiple phone calls and a coffee meeting, she really took the time to get to know us as people and as a couple so that she could capture our day accordingly (which she did!). Rebecca was hands-down our favorite vendor from our wedding weekend! We first met her for our engagement photos almost a year before our wedding - and she instantly made us feel comfortable and at-ease in front of the camera. We were so glad to have gotten the chance to met her before the wedding - if you're debating engagement photos, I highly recommend so you feel more comfortable on your wedding day! Rebecca is extremely organized and buttoned-up. She put together a shot list and schedule for the day. We didn't use a wedding planner, and after seeing Rebecca's schedule, I didn't feel like we needed one (and we definitely did not!). Rebecca has a wonderful, warm personality and makes everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and that's not easy. Most importantly, Rebecca takes BEAUTIFUL photos. We are so happy with all of the photos - she beautifully captures all of the important and candid moments of the day. We'll have our photos forever and will always cherish them.

Where to begin... I would say we got lucky... Lucky to have found Rebecca, and VERY lucky that she went out of her way to become available for our most important and magical day. Let me begin by saying that my now-husband and I a) believe we are the least photogenic people on earth, and b) though goofy, feel incredibly awkward doing the staged lovey-dovey stuff we find a lot of photographers have their couples do during shoots. Thus, our photographer needed to be able to not only make us feel comfortable behind a camera lens, but also bring out our best side(s), if they did indeed exist :) While I had communicated with Rebecca via email, the first time we met her was in-person during one of our trips up to Rhode Island. She exuded warmth and serenity, but also confidence and competence. She was immediately able to put us at ease - after just a few minutes, we felt as if we had known her for years! The day of the wedding, Rebecca demonstrated to us why she is the absolute best in the business. She had asked me beforehand what details I wanted captured, however, I was running behind on my hair and makeup, so my mom and MOH were in charge of bringing over my dress, shoes, and other bridal accoutrements. When I showed up about 20 minutes later I asked my mom if they had a chance to set anything up; her reply, "Actually, Rebecca was here waiting for us and as soon as we arrived she knew exactly what to do! Everything's been taken care of". And that is precisely how we felt throughout the entire day - taken care of. When it came time to actually see my photos (a quick 8 weeks after the event!), I was incredibly nervous - would I be disappointed in the results? Would I have a double chin in all my photos? On the contrary - she captured the MOST beautiful photographs I have ever seen of myself, my husband, my family and friends - everyone looked as if they had just stepped out of the pages of a bridal magazine. Her talent is truly unparalleled. I am so glad we chose Rebecca as our photographer and would recommend her without reservation to any bride who wants to look as amazing in photographs as she feels the day of her wedding.

Amazing! Rebecca and her husband are adorable! They instantly submerged themselves into the pre wedding chaos and captured some wonderful moments. Their calming effect certainly brought some calm to the whirlwind of a storm. The photos that she captured are amazing. I never thought of myself as gorgeous, but she captured great photos. I can't express how happy I am with the choice of Rebecca. If I were to do it all over again, she would be my first hire!!

Rebecca was awesome from the first phone call through execution at the ceremony. We selected her specifically for her journalistic style of photography and she truly captured moment after moment. From engagement session to the last dance, we will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives. This was the one part of the wedding where we truly wanted to splurge and we know we made the right decision with Rebecca.

The only disappointment was her husband not being able to be the second shooter at our ceremony due to a family emergency. We hope everything is ok on that front. She did however bring another very qualified photographer with her and they worked together easily. Truly cannot wait to get the prints back.

Rebecca is absolutely amazing!! I can’t express enough to you how spectacular and flawless your photographs will be on your special day. We are constantly getting compliments from family and friends about them. So stunning.

My husband and I really wanted someone to truly capture the love between our children and us on our wedding day. After researching a couple of photographers, we were finally informed about Rebecca through our wedding planner and her style of photography. Immediately, we were blown away and knew we needed her there. After a brief conversation with her through Skype, we knew she would be perfect. We discussed her background, I told her about our love story and we made a small connection before she came out here in Boston. I was so relaxed and happy that we were in good hands.

On the day of our wedding, she was on time at our venue. She was even sweeter in person. Immediately, she and her partner started taking pictures of all the small details and our wedding party in action. Throughout the ceremony, she was very professional and not “in the way” during sentimental moments. She captured all the special things that we had discussed prior to the wedding.

Our photo shoot with our wedding party was flawless. She knew how to direct everyone in a subtle way to get the perfect shot. My session with my husband was so special. She knew which poses worked best for us and I’ve never felt more beautiful while having my pictures taken. Everyone is just having a great time reliving the night through our online album. Hands down, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Her work speaks for itself. You will not go wrong working with Rebecca Arthurs Photography. Five stars all across the board!!

Rebecca & her husband Nick are an amazing team! I fell in love with all of her photos on her website and knew we had to have her at our wedding. She captures such unique special moments and tells a story though her work. She was everything I expected based on looking through her portfolio plus more!

Once I met her in person, that solitified it. I felt like I had knew her forever! She is professional, friendly, calm, sweet and asked us all of the right questions. She made us feel so special and she really wanted to hear what our story and vision was for our day!

On our wedding day, she and Nick showed up and everything was seamless. Rebecca made sure we got all the photos we wanted and made sure we were just enjoying ourselves and having fun!

Oh goodness, I can't even begin to explain how much I adored Rebecca & Nick and how amazing the photos turned out for our elopement. After deciding we wanted to elope in Hawaii, I went on a search for a photographer. As soon as I found her blog I KNEW I had to have her as our photographer. That was the best choice we could've made for our wedding! Rebecca & Nick helped us feel at ease and calm our nerves right before the ceremony. My husband and I are very shy people and don't like to be the center of attention (which is why we decided to elope), but Rebecca helped us relax and just enjoy our day while they captured photos. We knew we wanted to get married on the edge of the cliff, but Rebecca mentioned going down into Waipio Valley and I'm SO glad we did. Pictures don't show the beauty of the valley. She knew all the shortcuts and beautiful places to get photos at. Rebecca & Nick had us laughing the whole time and it was such an amazing experience. Rebecca was a wonderful and sweet photographer who was so flexible, accommodating, comforting, empathetic and responsive throughout the whole planning phase and on the day of the elopement. She allowed us to enjoy our day without intruding and at times we wanted posed photos, she helped us feel so relaxed and gave us clear instructions to help us look great in the photos. She was also very intuitive in picking up different ways we're affectionate to each other and helped capture that in the photos. My ceremony was an intimate destination vow-renewal with our children. I appreciate photography and it is very important to us. I knew I had to take my time and find our match. I searched for countless of hours and I am proud of myself for finding such an amazing team. Rebecca and Nick were the best decision for us. When I stumbled upon her blog I knew my search was over. She is extremely organized. She has an eye for detail and amazing style. I asked my husband to help narrow down my choices hoping he would also pick her. He did pick her and she was the first booked vendor. I even took the time to send them an invite because they were not just our photographers...they were ultimately guests. Rebecca helped when I felt overwhelmed from a far and the day of the renewal. I had no family to count on since it was very intimate but she helped in so many ways without even realizing it. She helped narrow down my venue since she is an island local. She always had an amazing attitude and the kids loved both her and Nick. We felt comfortable and truly grateful for finding them. They helped with navigating through the island to get to the remote ceremony venue. I can go on and on because they were truly amazing. My husband, who loves photography, was very impressed with them. If you are searching for professional passionate individuals and quality photography look no more! WOW is all I can say about Rebecca (& her husband Nick). Well, I will say more, but that kind of sums them up in a nutshell... I am SO SO SO glad I found them when researching Hawaii photographers. She was everything I expected based on looking through her portfolio PLUS more.

I found Rebecca's website and instantly fell in love with her work - every photo seemed to capture so much love, romance & beautiful light and I knew I wanted these timeless photos for our wedding photos. Once I talked to her on the phone, I was even more excited to work with her! She is super professional but so friendly and sweet and I just knew I had found our match. She made us feel so special and like she really CARED about making sure we had the photos we dreamed of.

We were lucky enough to be able to take engagement photos with Rebecca & Nick in Manhattan Beach (where we lived at the time) since they were in LA randomly on vacation! We loved the photos and knew we had made the perfect choice!

When it came to the wedding day, with 150 people, and a bridal party of 20 people, things can get hectic. But Rebecca made sure we got all the photos we wanted and that that she put in her special flair. She was also extremely calm when dealing with such a large party and was incredibly sweet all day (I can't imagine how they go 7+ hours on their feet and still get the amazing photos they do!!)

I was blown away by how fast she completed our photos as well. We have already gotten many compliments and we just got them this week. I am so excited to get prints and our photo album to have in our home to reminisce on our special day for years to come.

On my search to find a wedding photographer I stumbled upon what was a hidden gem. I say this cause it took months before they showed up in a google search. Ironically she's a best of in Hawaii and RI. After being lost in their photography I was ecstatic to hire her for our wedding. Rebbecca and her husband are not only this warm beautiful couple but they showcase love, romance and intimacy through every angle they shoot. First off, our photos were absolutely amazing! I can't begin to express how much my husband and I loved the photos and not just us, everybody loved them! It was exactly what we had envisioned. Rebecca really listened to what we wanted as far as location and theme for our wedding day photos. She did a really great job when it came to shots and Nick was really great with direction/poses and his ideas when it came to what would look great in photos.

Working with them was everything we had hoped for, they were very sweet, professional, and super quick to respond. I gave her complete creative control and I trusted her 100%. Rebecca and Nick made our wedding day very special. They have this chemistry that one is clearly able to see that they share while they are taking pictures and that is how they come up with amazing memories. Their creativity and eye for small things made us feel they were capturing all the memories that we would want to share with our family and friends. I cannot say enough great things about Rebecca Arthurs Photography! My husband and I eloped on a Ranch in Hawaii. The photographs were incredibly important to me because we had no family present but wanted to be able to share our experience with them. They captured the day perfectly and to my surprise, even the little details and special moments between us. I found a photographer I wanted for my February 2014 elopement but when I realized our schedules wouldn't match, I was bummed. I asked him for recommendations and he suggested Rebecca. I now think it was a fateful set of circumstances that led us to have her and Nick shoot our intimate wedding.

It's a bit daunting to think of sharing your wedding day, especially one that you've decided to keep so intimate, with strangers. We spoke with Rebecca over the phone and felt so relaxed chatting with her about us and our journey to marriage. When Rebecca and Nick arrived to shoot the wedding we immediately felt like we'd known them for years. That's just the type of people they are.

I can't put into words how amazing our wedding was. We had the greatest time getting married and taking shots all over Waipi'o Valley. Rebecca has a great eye and knows exactly how to set up a shot to take your breath away. The first set of pictures she sent us while we were still honeymooning knocked me out. I had to have my new husband pull over so we could digest the shots pixel by pixel, bite by bite. I sent the pictures to a few loved ones and everyone was amazed at the quality of shots. They really look like a magazine shoot.

Rebecca and Nick understand photography. Not just the technical aspect but the emotional one. You need to have the couple be as relaxed as possible to capture those magical, natural moments. As I look back on the pictures (it's honestly hard to pick a favorite) I remember all those little moments of playing, laughing and frolicking in the ocean with my new husband. All of it was captured in those photos.

We feel incredibly lucky that we had Rebecca and Nick as our photographers. They allowed us to be ourselves and made our day so special and fun. We hope to do another session with them as our family grows.

We had a wonderful time working with Rebecca and Nick and would highly recommend them. They are very personable and very professional and couldn't have been sweeter. They took our Day-After/Trash the Dress session for us and we absolutely love our pictures. Rebecca has an amazing gift and we were completely satisfied and thrilled with her work. Absolutely amazing!!!!! I was extremely picky when looking for a photographer. I had worked in the hair/makeup/modeling industry before planning my wedding. I am SO incredibly happy we chose Rebecca and her husband to photograph our wedding. Our engagement photos and the few wedding photos i've seen (sneak peeks) take my breath away! They are extremely professional and go above and beyond with their photos. you instantly just feel like you are friends with them because they are so nice and sweet! You will not be disappointed! Rebecca and her husband Nick photographed our wedding in Block Island last month. We haven't even seen all the photos yet, but based on the sneak peak and our engagement photos I already know they will be absolutely amazing. Working with Rebecca was never like working- it was like hanging out with a friend who really, really liked to take pictures of us :) I really cant say enough good things about her attention to us leading up to our wedding, and at the event. I am a bit of a control freak and had really high expectations of our vendors. Picking the "right" ones can be so difficult, but Rebecca made me feel at ease, instantly, and I knew she would be perfect. Not to mention her style and photographs are truly breathtaking. Her and Nick are worth every single penny and then some. Thank you so much for making our wedding the best weekend of our lives - we are truly thankful we had you to capture those moments for us! I have said it from day one, Rebecca was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. Her photos are something out of a magazine! I cannot tell you how many compliments we have received on our engagement and wedding photos. She is an absolute dream to work with. She always answered my questions leading up to the wedding, was very flexible, and accommodating throughout the whole process. If you are looking for a photographer who thinks outside the box and gives you the feeling that your wedding photos should truly be a piece of art, she is your choice! We really appreciated the uniqueness of the images she captured and feel so thankful that we will have them to enjoy forever. Rebecca's pcitures are incredible. Photographs will last a lifetime and provide memories for years to come. I wanted to ensure that our photos were amazing. Rebecca absolutely fufilled that task! Her easy going attitude and obvious enjoyment of photography made her an absolute pleasure to work with. I fretted over choosing a photographer for months and months and as soon as I came accross Rebecca's website, I instantly knew that I wanted to use her at our wedding. My husband and I decided to elope in Kauai on 11/1/11 and it was so important for us to find a photographer who will capture our day so we can later share it with our family and friends.

Rebecca was a perfect fit for our style. Her photography is classic, TIMELESS, clean, and eludes to an era of elegance and beauty.

Working with Rebecca was a delightful...since I didn't have a bridesmaid Rebecca became a friend, always making sure my dress was perfect and that I looked beautiful. We had so much fun with her laughing the day away.....especially when it begun to rain during our outdoor photoshoot.

Our photos where better than I could have ever imagined. Truly, I can't even say I have a single favorite one...there are just so many which I fell in love with. The comments which we received from family and friends were that our photos are so beautiful that they belong on the cover of a magazine.

It was extremely important for me to find a wedding photographer that was able to truly capture every moment of our wedding day. I can't even begin to count how many hours I spent searching for the right photographer. Several times I thought I had found the right one, only to speak with them and realize they weren't what I was looking for. I sent countless links to my sisters who would give me lukewarm responses, only solidifying what I already knew... I was settling on photographers that I wasn't happy with because I was tired of looking. Then I stumbled upon Rebecca and was immediatly in love with her work. If you take a few minutes to take a look at her blog, you can see that she truly is an artist and has a real passion for her work.

From the moment I met up with Rebecca on a snowy evening in a coffee shop in Rhode Island, I knew I was going to be happy with her. After talking to her for only a few minutes, I felt as though I had known her for years, and she truly understood me and what I was looking for in a photographer. She expressed a genuine interest in every aspect of our wedding, and I knew I would have a great time working with her and Nick.

In the midst of wedding planning, my husband and I were also moving to the mid-west. I was worried about having to do the remainder of the wedding planning from 1,000 miles away. Rebecca was amazing and accomodating, she was able to meet up with me when I was back on the east coast for brief whirlwind wedding planning sessions. We drove around and checked out where we would be getting ready, the Church, locations for photos, and reception. She has such a creative eye and was able to see things that I would have never noticed. Some of the best shots of the day resulted from locations she had picked out while driving around with me.

On the day of the wedding, they arrived promptly and were extremely professional. She was always right there when I needed her, but was never in the way, and was able to capture moments that I will be able to remember for a lifetime. Even my dad, who was extremely worried about the dreaded hours of family photos, was VERY impressed with how quick and painless Rebecca made the process.

Rebecca and Nick are an incredibly talented team of wedding photographers who I would recommend to anyone. Everyone who has seen our photos has commented on how beautiful our pictures turned out.

Thank you Rebecca and Nick for helping to make our day such a success! Hopefully we will be able to work with you guys again someday.

Becca is a phenomenal photographer. The quality of her photography is unmatched. I was able to rest assured that my photos would be perfect because she was the one in charge. The photography from a wedding is so very important in order to capture the story and true feeling behind an idividuals wedding. Pictures that take you back to that moment and help you to remember what your incredible day was like for you and your husband are priceless. Rebecca and husband, Nick, not only are able to capture the whole story and emotion but they do it in such a way that feels and looks so natural. They work so hard to create these true works of art that are solely yours. All our our pictures feel unique to our day and have a flair of our personality. They are not like some photographers who take the same set of photos from one wedding to the next. We were lucky to have had Rebecca and Nick with us to photograph our entire wedding weekend (rehearsal dinner,day of and post wedding brunch). I cannot tell you how happy I am that not only did I take the time to find the very best photographers out there to capture my day but that I had them with us for the most important times throughout the whole weekend. I have only the most wonderful things to say about both Rebecca and Nick as far as their easy-going and patient personalities to their world class photography. After viewing their photography, you will without a doubt have to them photograph your wedding and after receiving your photos from your special day, you will want to plaster them all over your walls because they are that fabulous. My husband and I could not be happier with having Rebecca and her husband Nick as photographers on our wedding day. The pictures are absolutely beautiful. They didn't just capture our expressions but the feeling of the entire day. Working with Rebecca beforehand was incredibly easy. She was super accessible via email (my preferred mode of communication) and flexible in adjusting her photography packages to meet our needs (which she already has such a good variety to begin with).

It was a rough week for us leading up to the wedding with hurricane Irene and all its disappointments, Rebecca was one of the only vendors who did not try and make drastic changes to our plans, charge us more $$$, or reveal to us a million different worries that week. She was 100% reliable and thankfully our photos are an easy reminder of what a beautiful day it was for us and we'll cherish them forever.

My husband and I have been married for 5 years now. Becca did a "day after session" for us recently. It was so much fun to get dressed up in wedding attire and "relive" our wedding day. Becca not only has an amazing gift for the art of photography, she also knows how to connect with her clients to make you feel comfortable. Rebecca did a wonderful job and made me feel absolutely beautiful when she was taking my
pictures! While we were taking the pictures, she kindly guided me on how to stand/pose.
I am so pleased with how well my pictures turned out.

Rebecca was awesome! Very talented, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. Her photography style is unique and stands out from the hundreds of other wedding photographers out there. If I could give a 10 instead of 5, I would! Rebecca is an unbelievable photographer- not only the quality of her work, but her ability to capture the heart of the people and the day. I have never really liked a photo of myself and was worried.... I didn't need to be! She did such an amazing job- we have recieved compliments from so many people when we posted the link to Rebecca's blog.
Not only is she extremely skilled and talented, Rebecca is a wonderful, sweet person and was so great to work with. We had mentioned that we didn't want anyone to feel stiff for the family and bridal party photos. She did a great job with the photo compositions, capturing candid shots, and the color is just unbelieveable. I noticed how excellent her photos are after visiting several other sites posted from various people on facebook, etc. There really is no comparisson... The quality of her albums are just awesome as well- I haven't seen any wedding albums like these. Rebecca responds very quickly to e-mails and questions as well. I recommend her to EVERYONE and can't wait to work with her in the future for sibling weddings, family portraits, and more. She did such a wonderful job!
