  LOVED our engagement and can't wait for the wedding!

  We hired Rachel Levine Photography for our engagement pictures and WOW!!! We were so happy with the level of professionalism and communication, right from the start.
  Her team member Laura was our photographer and she put us at ease, right away. We felt so comfortable and had so much fun taking pictures at the Sutro Baths Ruins in San Francisco, that the time just flew by. Laura was super knowledgeable about the location, and even suggested a hidden trail that lead to the most incredible overlook with crashing waves.
  Since everything went so well, we've requested her to be on our wedding team for our 2023 wedding. We highly recommend Rachel Levine Photography!

  We hired Rachel Levine Photography for our engagement pictures and WOW!!! We were so happy with the level of professionalism and communication, right from the start.
  Her team member Laura was our photographer and she put us at ease, right away. We felt so comfortable and had so much fun taking pictures at the Sutro Baths Ruins in San Francisco, that the time just flew by.   Awesome all-inclusive experience!

  Stop right now and look no further if you are planning to get married at San Francisco City Hall! Rachel is FANTASTIC: warm, phenomenally talented, and most importantly FUN – the exact vibe you want on your wedding day. For our small destination wedding we booked an all inclusive package with videography (I highly recommend this!!), which covered photo/video, hair/makeup, officiant and ceremony, even a gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere. The price was reasonable and fair, and – even better – ensured no stress leading up to the wedding because I knew everything was taken care of! 
  
  On the day of our wedding we were so lucky to have Rachel herself as our photographer and Will as videographer. They are, hands down, the A-team that you want by your side on your most important day. They know all the best spots (even the secret ones!), they teach/help you to pose, and are also creative and spontaneous – ready to capture all the best unscripted moments. They made us look and feel our absolute best! After the ceremony we went over to Battery Park where they took the most jaw-dropping photos in front of the Golden Gate Bridge (a must if you are visiting SF), and then afterwards to Ghiradelli square for an ice cream celebration. In total we spent 4 hours together, which was perfect.
  
  It is no overstatement that we are OBSESSED with our photos! Our portfolio is all at once natural, stunning, dramatic, and captures all the joy that we felt that day. Friends have even asked if we rented out all of City Hall for our wedding because it looks like we are the only people there! Will's work was amazing, he created a beautiful highlight video set to a song of our choice, and provided a full video of our ceremony, which I was not expecting. I have watched these over and over and they make me tear up each time. 
  
  Our experience with Rachel truly exceeded all of our expectations. I also want to give a huge shout out to her phenomenal team: Leza our coordinator, Nora for hair/makeup, Marina for flowers, and Konrad our officiant, you all made the day so special and completely unforgettable. Big thanks to you all!!

  LOVE THE PHOTOS! What a wicked cute, classy couple you guys are. Rachel did a phenomenal piece of artwork capturing your wedding. The black and white images were pure Hollywood Nostalgia! Fun! What a great day! I’ll look at the pictures over and over.

  Better Than I Could Have Imagined

  My boyfriend and I booked an engagement photo shoot with Rachel during our trip to San Francisco and could not be more pleased. She was so professional and fun to work with - on top of that she helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera/ what poses to do, etc. We were able to choose the locations we wanted and customize our experience. I almost cried tears of joy when we received the photos!! San Francisco was an extraordinary memory, and I am so blessed and happy to have these photos. They will last a lifetime and help preserve one of my favorite trips. The quality and detail of Rachel's photography is unmatched. Can't thank Rachel enough!! Because of the awesome experience we had with our engagement photos, there is no one else I would rather have to shoot our wedding photos. We have already booked her and paid the down payment for our wedding at San Francisco City Hall later this year.

  Rachel is the real deal. Not only is she incredibly down to earth, fun, helpful, and kind but she is SO talented! The moments she's able to capture through her pictures are gorgeous (without looking posed) and our photos completely blew us away! She will make you feel comfortable from day 1 and you will LOVE LOVE LOVE your photos (and Rachel!)

  Great Experience!!

  We found Rachel looking through the pictures on our officiant's website. Loved the pictures and wanted something similar for our vow renewal ceremony in San Francisco on our 10th wedding anniversary. (Although we had to postpone for a year due to covid). Rachel was very detailed, attentive, friendly and an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm so glad she was there to direct us (especially my husband :)) when posing. She not only suggested great spots for pictures but made it so much easier on us by coordinating with our driver. We got the pictures really quick and they are absolutely beautiful. Best way to preserve the beautiful memories of our special day. Thanks Rachel!

  Talented and Professional

  Fantastic experience with Rachel and videographer Will. They were flexible, professional and so much fun to spend the day with! Rachel was direct with communication (very important when organizing children and extended family) and captured so many candid moments I would have missed. She traveled from the getting ready location to the wedding ceremony site and was willing not to charge to drive time amd I so appreciate that! If you want a small and intimate wedding photographer - pick Rachel!

  Can't say enough good things!

  Where even to begin...we originally hired Rachel last year before knowing that Covid will completely mess up our plans. Since then, I don't even remember how many times we changed wedding plans. But no matter what our new plans were, Rachel was super understanding, kind and supportive and on board with anything. She really worked with us and our new schedules, ideas, challenges and budgets.
  
  I can't say enough good things about Rachel and her team. With all the changing plans and the craziness she was our rock and we knew we ca count on her. In the end we decided on a small elopement near Santa Cruz by the cliffs and while Rachel herself wasn't able to take the photos, she scheduled Mindy who was absolutely amazing. Mindy really listened to what we were looking for and captured what was most important to us. We also hired a videographer and Mindy teamed up wonderfully with him. My husband and I are not enjoying to have photos taken but Mindy really made it fun ad easy. She had great ideas and guided us perfectly.
  Mindy provided us with a whooole lot of wonderful photos which we will cherish forever.
  
  We would highly recommend booking Rachel and her team and will definitely work with them again in the future.

  We had the absolute pleasure of working with Julia and Don from Rachel Levine Photography! They were simply amazing! They were so patient with my family and all of the different requests coming at them from every direction. And they are so knowledgable about all of the best spots for photos inside San Francisco City Hall! They knew each floor and where the lighting was best. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable that it didn't feel like we were posing. I cannot even begin to thank them for the amazing job that they did!   Wonderful experience with a great person!!

  Rachel is AWESOME!! She was our photographer for our city hall wedding in San Francisco on 10/25/19. Glad that we had the chance to be able to talk while taking pictures. I'm looking forward to seeing our pictures. Thank you so much for being patient with us on our wedding day.

  Straight to the point

  We loved how straightforward Rachel was. We're so bad at taking pictures and she knew exactly what she wanted from us. She made use of every second of our time together and we appreciate that so much. We took so many gorgeous pictures together and she directed my family so well.
  
  My husband came in uniform and she told us that she has a military discount. We didn't even know, she didn't even have to say anything, but she did and we respect that so much.

  We loved how straightforward Rachel was. We're so bad at taking pictures and she knew exactly what she wanted from us. She made use of every second of our time together and we appreciate that so much. We took so many gorgeous pictures together and she directed my family so well.

  Impressive photographer and company. Book them now!

  Our wedding photography experience with Rachel and her superb photographer Christian was amazing. Rachel was quick to respond to our enquiries, put our minds at ease and the experience with her company long distance (we are from Canada) was very professional and it had a profound personal touch to it. She set us up with Christian who was excellent at capturing our personalities in our photos at San Francisco City Hall. He is a passionate photographer. Kudos to Christian and Rachel. We were so impressed and we highly recommend her services.

  OMG we LOVED Rachel! She photographed our friends wedding at City Hall, and we knew she was the one for us when we saw their pictures, plus she was super friendly and really knew what she was doing with our big crazy group.
  
  We aren't married yet, but we needed engagement photos and decided to go the the Palace of Fie Arts, and out the Baker Beach for some romantic shots. We probably drove her a little crazy because of my boyfriends work schedule, we had to keep changing the date, but she was really chill about and said she's used to it.
  
  He hates taking pictures in general, and she was amazing at coaching us through the day, and really helping us to connect with each other, so we're not just staring at the camera. You can easily see how much fun we had that day, and what a fun relationship we have in general, she just KNEW how to capture that! We are SUPER happy and can't wait to have her photograph our wedding when that day comes, next year!

  Rachel photographed my wedding in San Jose last month. She was very communicative and open every step of the way, in fact I chose her, not only because her work is beautiful, but also because she was the only photographer who spoke to me like a human being. She has an east coast way about her which I immediately loved (native NYer here) she is a professional through and through and our photos are proof of that - they're wonderful. I highly recommend her!

  Rachel was amazing! I found her online and struck me how beautiful her photos were! Her pricing for photo sessions are definitely affordable! Prior to our wedding, our only communication was through email and she answered all of my questions, assuring me, thus helping me feel less stressed!
  We arrived at SF city hall earlier than our supposed meeting time, sent her a text, and she met us right away. We took all of our couple photos prior to the ceremony and she was definitely efficient and professional. In addition, she has guided us all throughout the process of signing in (huge help for us because it was our first time going into the city hall!), and to our ceremony as well! You will feel less nervous and anxious because she knows the whole process!
  
  Overall, Rachel is efficient, her work is a value for your money and such a lovely person to work with! Our wedding photos turned out amazing! One my husband and I will be able to treasure!

  Having Rachel shoot our wedding was one of my highlights of the day. Some of my favourite moments with my husband were when we had our photos together before the ceremony and hopped in a limo to be photographed around Golden Gate Park. Rachel was wonderful working with us and our guests. The pictures turned out so lovely and I'm really glad to have them to remember the day!

  Seemless experience and world class service. Rachel made our experience one of a kind almost 3000 miles away. There was no confusion or fear only excitement for the big day and our amazing photos. And my god the photos were stunning. Christian was so welcoming and has an eye for perfection. We couldn't have wished for our day, our photos and overall experience better then it happened.

My husband and I got married with our FIVE kids in tow, and Rachel was as accommodating and patient as you could ever imagine with the unpredictable needs and moods of small children.   Rachel was amazing! She gave us a lot of tips before our wedding such as recommending a flower shop and salon in SF.
  Rachel is very talented in choosing the best background as well as chossing the right moment to take several impromtu shots. She definitely knows her way around City Hall and made sure we were at the right place at the right time. She is very serious about her work but very fun and pleasant to work with. She offers a very affordable package that you won't be disappointed with. We give her our highest recommendation.

  I hired Rachel to photograph my daughter for her 13th birthday because she photographed my wedding a while back. We went to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Art. I got a good feeling from her from the get-go. Our shoot itself was fun and effortless. She was great with my daughter and even made my 8 year old son laugh.
