  I LOVE NORA!!! She did an awesome job for all of the girls!
  
  I booked Nora last minute and she was so accommodating! Luckily, she was available and worked with our budget. She came prepared with ample makeup for all the different faces. Nora made us feel comfortable and executed the look we were each asking for.
  
  I would highly highly recommend Nora!! She's AWESOME!

  Nora is truly a sweetheart and one of my most favorite vendors for our wedding. She did my makeup as well as my bridesmaid, and everyone looked perfect! The airbrushing was our favorite part and lasted all night long. Her prices are very reasonable, and she came to our house the day of. If you are searching for a makeup artist, you've found her!

  Nora with Pursemblance was a true joy to work with on my wedding day. Given that I am really "not that girl" who is really not into makeup & hair Nora really took the lead but followed my wishes to keep it clean & simple. I hate my lips but I love my hazel eyes. So I told her that I wanted to play those up & she really did that. She broke my fear of FALSE LASHES. I am converted! Moreover the makeup she applied with the airbrush technique really lasted from the ceremony, thru our fotos and well into the reception. She also kept the bridesmaids looking fresh and simple - but really modern and glamorous too. Our pictures came out great & I really credit Nora for her help in keeping the bridesmaids look uniform & beautiful.
  
  Pluses:
  - Nora spoke Spanish to my mother & my grandmother too and that really helped make the setting on my wedding be more welcoming and stress free. I didn't have to worry about translating! I could enjoy my mimosa!
  - The best part - during the foto shoot with my bad dog, Lola, Nora held a banana over her head and made funny noises to hold the dog's attention for the photographer! How cool is that?! Now that's what I call being a team player!!!
  - Nora has a colleague Sarah who she is works to do hair styling who I found to be just as professional and attentive.
  - Pursemblance's website - I am online gal did most of my bridal planning that way since I was planning a long distance wedding. I tried to only book vendors with a website because that to me signals - modern, communicative and professional. Moreover, with my work & travel schedule emailing works best for me so Nora's accessibility on the web made her service that much more valuable to me.
  
  Highly recommended.

  I love love love Nora! Not only did she do awesome make-up, she was super fun to hang out with! I could not recommend anyone more highly!

  I loved working with Nora. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant because I wasn't sure if she knew how to do make-up on Asians naturally. I went in for the trial and I was still on the fence about moving forward because I wasn't completely satisfied with my make-up and hair trial. However, I knew that she had tons of training and experience as a make-up artist and I sensed that she had a good eye for things and that I just needed to communicate what I wanted. And can I just say.. she went above and beyond my expectations on my wedding day! People complimented me on my hair and make-up and she totally went for the look that I was going for. I got a sunburn and she also did a great job covering that up. She also did my sister's hair and make-up and my nieces' hair and everyone looked amazing! The thing that I'm particular about in wedding photos is how the bride looks in photos with the flash on. But I didn't look washed out at all! She's also just a ton of fun. I highly recommend her services. She is a very talented and experienced make-up artist.
