  Talented Photographer!

  I am so happy I found Lisa for my reception photography. I only needed about 3 hours of coverage, and she was incredibly flexible with this time frame. What I loved was how detailed they were in capturing the day. I noticed even during dinner they were still snapping photos of the food, table decor, and entertaining the guests at their table. She had amazing candid photos during the cocktail hour, and captured all of the emotion of our first dances. She did an amazing job with the lighting, and our venue had zero natural lighting. True talent. I recommend Poppy Seed Photography to everyone in the metro area. I promise you will not be disappointed!

  Look no further...Poppy Seed Photography is incredible!

  The easiest decision finding Poppy Seed Photography to shoot our sons wedding was made when Lisa was recommended to us.
  
  Her passion, enthusiasm and absolutely stunning photos made the decision a simple one. Knowing that we had Lisa taking so much care documenting the wedding day really took the pressure off.
  
  With her wealth of knowledge, incredible eye for detail and friendly and approachable disposition we had only rave reviews both on the day and afterwards from our guests and bridal party. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile.
  
  It really felt like we had another friend there with us throughout all of the crazy wedding planning and on the big day. We can't recommend Lisa highly enough; going above and beyond, she has the company you will want behind the lens.

  We worked with Poppy Seed Photography for an engagement shoot and for coverage of our big day at The Gale Mansion in Minneapolis on 9/14/19. We cannot recommend them highly enough! From the very first phone call with Lisa, she was incredibly personable, professional, and invested in understanding what made our relationship special. Lisa took the time to get to know us as a couple and worked to incorporate all of our personal style preferences into the photos we received. On our wedding day, Poppy Seed Photography arrived on time, made everyone feel at ease during an exciting day, and got all of the shots we were hoping to cover. I highly recommend working with Poppy Seed Photography, they will make your special day all the more perfect!

  Poppy Seed Photography

  I do not like having my picture taken but Lisa was able to get me to relax and enjoy the process. The family photos she took are were professional but fun. The images are now among our most cherished.

  Poppyseed photography was everything we could have hoped for and more. When we received the pictures on a flash drive, the box was personalized with one of the pictures from the wedding. We can't thank poppyseed photography enough. Lisa was such a big part of making our big day so special.

  Lisa and her assistant Bryn photographed our wedding this past September and I couldn't have asked for more. Our photos are stunning! These two talented ladies captured so many wonderful moments on the best day of our lives and we will be forever grateful. Lisa and Bryn did an awesome job of listening to what we wanted and taking (much appreciated) liberties once they got an idea of the type of look we were going for. To top it all off- we had SO MUCH FUN! These ladies definitely mean business and don't waste time getting the looks they want- which is an important factor for the bride and groom who want awesome shots of themselves and their wedding party and also want to get the party started and mingle with their guests. From start to finish- Lisa was a joy to work with. Our photos were ready to view just weeks after the wedding and two edited discs filled with thousands of beautiful memories arrived at our doorstep soon after. I would recommend Poppyseed Photography in a heartbeat and I plan on ringing her up in the future to capture more memories as our family grows.

  I was very impressed with Lisa and her assistant on many levels. My wife and I hired them for all of the photography associated with our wedding back in July 2013.
  
  My wife and I both come from very large families, and so managing all of the people, personalities, etc. can be a huge challenge, even for me -- and I'm their family! So when I witnessed Lisa and her assistant handle everything with such grace, professionalism and polite assertiveness, it placed me and my wife at ease so we could just concentrate on enjoying our big day, and not get worried or caught up on the millions of details that fill up a wedding day.
  
  Since then, as my wife and I have shared our photos and thank-you cards, we have received endless compliments about the quality of the photographs. My wife and I knew we wanted to commit a legitimate amount of our wedding budget toward photography, because the day goes by so quickly, that you end up relying upon the photographs for the memories that will last you a lifetime. I would highly recommend Lisa and Poppy Seed Photography for anybody for any occasion. Poppy Seed is absolutely worth every penny!

  Ou wedding photographer was amazing. She and her partner were very professional, patient, and efficient, especially since there were parts to the pre-ceremony photo shoot that were somewhat chaotic amongst the family photos. It has been four months since our wedding, and we are still getting compliments from our family and friends about how beautiful the pictures turned out. Thank you!!!

  Our daughter, Carly and her now husband, Joe were married this summer in our backyard on Lake Hendricks. Lisa did such a amazing and fantastic job of capturing the day in every way!! She is a Pro!   Hi! My name is Carly. My husband and I were married last year. I hate that it has taken me this long to do this. Lisa was incredible! It was a stressful day! It was helpful to have someone who knew exactly what she was doing She went above and beyond! All our photos turned out amazing! The best part of having Lisa was how she was able to rally everyone. We have a lot of family and many wedding party members. We didn't spent hours and hours taking photos. She was fun and no nonsense. We all have those family members or friends who can be a little bit of a pain. We love them, but they can be a little much. Lisa was stern, but professional when dealing with said person. It was very much appreciated!

  Lisa was incredibly cooperative, positive and most importantly fun to work with! It was important to me and my husband that we have unique and beautiful wedding pictures that we are proud of and thats exactly what we got. She was awesome!!

  Lisa shot our engagement photos and was our wedding photographer. We have been so pleased with her work. She gave us so many stunningly beautiful photos. Lisa is wonderful to work with. She listens to her client and has great creative vision. I have recommended Lisa to several friends for their weddings. Lisa also photographed our son in a newborn session. She captured a precious moment in our lives in such a lovely way.

  My wife and I had a session with Lisa for our anniversary a couple of years ago, and we totally love the photos! Lisa really tries to capture what you want to come through in your photos. She'll get your input, and then she adds her expertise to come up with a unique and personal session. She's creative too, improvising and throwing out ideas when the moment calls for it. We also know Lisa personally, and you can tell photography is in her blood. She's an avid photographer during the time when she's not working as well – I always notice that she's the one with the camera snapping photos when friends get together. It shows me that she loves what she does and its passionate about it.

  WOW - That summarizes our wedding experience with Lisa and her second shooter, Bryn. We were managing numerous families, step families, etc. and they did a wonderful job of figuring out who belonged with who and managing the family dynamics. They were quick with the "formal and requisite" family photos, and spent a ton of time with us on candids in very cool downtown St. Paul locations. Lisa had creative ideas for night shots and we were delighted with the final product. We received a ton of photos within a couple weeks of the wedding and our family and friends have been very impressed with the work. Thank you Lisa!
