Polly’s the best!!

Polly was the florist for my sister’s wedding in 2015, and was highly recommended by my sister for my wedding this past weekend. Like my sister, I know nothing about flowers so I gave Polly a lot of creative freedom, and she came up with some great suggestions (based on the season, color scheme, Pinterest inspiration, etc). She is a great communicator and responds quickly to all emails (and communication in general; we just primarily communicated via email for lots of small details). We had multiple video calls with her throughout the planning process (my now husband and I don’t live super close to her office, so in-person meetings were challenging for us around our work schedules). She worked really well within our budget to give us everything we asked for, and she did not disappoint. Overall, she was easily one of the easiest vendors we worked with throughout our entire wedding planning process. Highly recommend!!

Ethereal Floral Creations

Polly's Petals was recommended by a family friend, and wow! Their floral creations were stunning! They transformed the gorgeous staircase at Armour House into an ethereal landscape. The Little Theatre, where the ceremony was held, had some gorgeous planters that were later relocated to the sweetheart table in the dining room. The centerpieces in the dining room were beautiful, and the fountain decoration in the garden room was out of this world. I absolutely loved my bouquet. It captured the prefect blend of wild romanticism, I felt. Highly recommend this vendor for your wedding! Very lovely to work with.

Polly is the best! She helped us find GORGEOUS flowers that meant a lot to my now-wife and her family but helped us to stay within our budget too and save money where we could. I also love that she repurposes flowers after the event for people who appreciate them!

Outstanding

Polly did the florals for our wedding at Independence Grove in November 2021. From start to finish, she was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a call with her early on in the year to discuss our vision, and months later, she made that vision a reality. I told Polly about a flower that I grew up picking from my backyard as a child, and she was able to incorporate that into my bouquet. From the boutonnieres, to the floral arch we were married under, to the centerpieces on each table, Polly and her team made our day so beautiful. Since then, we have sent family and friends bouquets from Polly's Petals for special occasions, and all of them have been stunning. We highly recommend working with Polly for your floral needs. Beautiful and stunning flowers within budget

My husband and I went to Polly first from a recommendation from Weddingwire and our wedding planner at Independence Grove. We gave Polly our color scheme and had no idea what flowers to use. Polly was wonderful in using our colors and giving plenty of examples. And we were able to stay within our budget. She answered our 100 questions calmly and eased my worries about the flowers. I checked out one more flower vendor to compare. Huge mistake!!! We went with Polly because she took our colors and created gorgeous I mean absolutely gorgeous flowers for our bouquets, boutonnières and also a wrist corsage. When I saw the flowers she delivered I got teary. I was blown away. My bouquet and all flowers for the bridal party were breathtaking. The flowers were so stunning I got compliments All night and after the wedding. I highly recommend Polly to anyone who is looking for stunning and beautiful flowers for your wedding or any other event. Polly was professional, very friendly and a pleasure to work with. The flowers lasted for 4 weeks. So impressed with Polly’s. You have to check out Polly’s. I guarantee you will be very happy with Polly!!!!! Truly the BEST florist!!!

Wedding Flowers from Polly

Polly was absolutely incredible start to finish. I only knew a couple of details that I wanted in my flowers but didn't know where to go from there. While other vendors tried to get me to come up with ideas or pictures, Polly took those few things, asked a few questions, and designed an even better version of what I had pictured in my head! She does truly incredible work and was so flexible and easy to work with! Really and truly the sweetest woman. My wedding was in Madison, so we came up with a plan for how to get them there and what the person driving them up needed in terms of space and temperature. She is detail oriented and creative, and I cannot recommend her enough!

Amazing floral

Polly was with us every step of the way through our wedding planning. Due to covid we had to revise multiple versions and visions of my wedding. Polly was patient, flexible, and extremely supportive. Beautiful vision and perfect execution

With just a few Pinterest pictures, and the lanterns and vases we wanted to use, Polly put together a stunning design for my daughter's October wedding. The bouquets, the Church arrangement, and the reception flowers were gorgeous and while varied, had a perfectly cohesive look. It was exactly what my daughter and son-in-law wanted: natural and elegant using jewel toned flowers and lots of greenery. Polly was so flexible as numbers changed and plans shifted, and she found a way to use everything we ordered to enhance the reception space beyond the original plan. She also went above and beyond in setting everything up both at the Church and reception venue, including delivering the elements that we had purchased. She was also creative in keeping the design within our budget, without sacrificing on the beauty. I can't recommend Polly highly enough, we were all delighted with her service!

I first saw PPP through weddingwire, and she was recommended via a friend. Polly did an AMAZING job, people were RAVING about the flowers during both the ceremony and reception. They lasted for days afterwards and I (and my family and friends) would not hesitate to use their services again, truly amazing!!!
Polly was very open with communication from our first meeting, to the type of vases I wanted, to the flowers in my bouquet and bridesmaids (there were some allergies).

Beyond my expectations!

I hired Polly to do my daughter’s wedding just 3 weeks ago and I am still telling people how awesome my florist was! From the very beginning I felt like she understood our vision for the flowers which was so reassuring. She was patient with me as I sent her photos and went over the deign plan numerous times. She was good to stay in my budget, delivering beautiful fresh flowers with amazing handiwork! When I walked into the venue the morning of the wedding, the arrangements that she had put together took my breath away! She exceeded my expectations which is hard to do because I expect a lot from people!! Thanks Polly for turning our venue into the most beautiful venue for our daughter’s wedding!

Polly and her team did the floral decor for our wedding on 6/10/2018 at Independence Grove in Libertyville. Everything was GORGEOUS. She truly puts her heart and soul into what she does as a true artist, you will not be just another wedding on her checklist! I cannot recommend Polly more! When I first met with Polly I had some ideas of what I wanted but she was able to help me understand my different options and what flowers would look and work best together. She was very flexible and easy to work with which was very helpful since my venue was DIY. We talked about all the last minute details a few days before the big day and I told her I would like her to add some fresh flowers to our cake. I gave her no direction and trusted her to do something beautiful. Of course, she didn't disappoint! I would actually recommend having some element of surprise to all the brides out there! I couldn't have been more thrilled with my bouquet either. Besides my dress, it was my favorite accessory that day! If you want great quality and not pay an arm and a leg Polly is you girl!

Polly is amazing. I can't put into words how great my flowers were and how helpful she was through the wedding process and the day of the wedding. She was great with listening to my ideas and suggesting new ones. She also added several ways I could help save some money on flowers. The day of the wedding my cake topper broke and she fixed it with some creative flower placement and wire. She didn't need to do that but she is so sweet she helped anyways. I will never hesitate to recommend her. She was great with meetings and never rushed us. I am a bit of a control freak and I never worried with how my flowers would turn out. I've received several complements on my flowers and centerpieces. Any special events I have in the future I will always turn to Polly.

I spoke with Polly after having a horrible experience with another florist and deciding not to continue any further. Luckily, we still had plenty of time for our wedding and Polly reassured me everything would be great from the very beginning and it sure was! She listened to all my needs/wants for floral arrangements and also gave in her own input with creativity. Loved everything. She is too sweet, and always available. Last minute, on the day before our wedding, our wedding planner gave us the news we couldnt use fake flowers for the ceremony as she had noticed thats what we had, I called Polly, she answered, and she was able to provide us with leftover petals to use. She is amazing and very reliable. A Must florist for your wedding!! She works with what your budget consists of as well.

I shared some general pictures of bouquets and flowers I liked along with some general thoughts that we wanted a fun, romantic, rustic relaxed feeling- nothing super formal or fancy. I also shared a pic of my dress and the girls color. She was SPOT ON when she quoted and sent me her ideas. Then on our wedding day- everything was perfect, exactly what I had envisioned!! It's incredible - I feel like Polly was in my head and heart when planning floral for our wedding in April!! I went to her with pretty much some vague terms and a loose color scheme (vintage, romantic, pastels, not one shred of burlap please) and not much else! Like other reviewers, I don't have much knowledge in the way of flowers so I certainly wasn't sure what I wanted. Some certain requests I had were to incorporate some succulents, as well as broaches and a necklace charm that meant a lot to our families in my bridal bouquet. Everything came out AMAZING. She was 100% on point with the feeling and colors I was hoping for, and I couldn't stop looking at all the bouquets because they were just so incredible. Even the attention to detail was wonderful and noticed by guests - the extra "crystals" and rose petals around the tables and whatnot were very much appreciated by many, and I'm so glad they noticed. One of my guests even asked to take a centerpiece because she was so obsessed with it! The flowers continued to live on and two weeks later we are just NOW tossing some of the bridesmaids bouquets that we put around the house.

Comparing to other florists....
Price shopping was really hard for me with florists, since they all seem to offer different packages in different ways, but Polly's Petals & Particulars was incredible and one of my favorite vendors for our whole event, so looking back the cost was a bit tough on the pocketbook but well worth it.
More than that, I visited with a couple others that really seemed to take my vision and then jam it into a style that they were comfortable with or maybe could easily accommodate - either way, I didn't feel like I was totally being heard. As soon as I left Polly's office I KNEW she'd just "get it" and that I definitely didn't have to meet with anyone else. It was so comforting and obviously worked out just as I suspected!

She had wonderful suggestions for the flower arrangements for both the tables as well as for the front of the ceremony, and also offered to help us design a welcome sign for the ceremony. I went in with a vision, but my lack of creative ability made it really hard for me to explain exactly what I wanted...that and I have no idea what any of the flowers were called. Polly took the description I gave her and knocked it out of the park. I had a vision, but she was able to take it and bring it to life in a way I didn't even know was possible. Wow. I cannot tell you how pleased we were with the flowers and chuppah that Polly provided for us. Everything was ready to go when she said it would be. The bouquets were absolutely beautiful and were exactly what I had in mind even though all I gave her to go on was a photo from Pinterest. All the flowers held together and looked great throughout the entire day. I would recommend Polly to anyone looking for a florist.

Polly is friendly and professional. Her work is amazing at a great price. She is very artistic and shared my vision by showing her pictures and exceeding them. She helped me throughout the process and I'm glad I found her. If your a picky detailed bride who wants everything top notch and at a reasonable price Polly can do the job. I used 1/2 silk flowers and 1/2 real flowers. They were mixed in on the tables and no one could tell ! It looked like a $6k job when it was less than 1/2. Just tell her your budget what your looking for and she will set you up with something beautiful and cost friendly

LOVED Polly and all her work! She took my vision and made it incredible with her own touches. She was honest with her opinions to help keep my style coordinated throughout the centerpieces and decor. She traveled up to Milwaukee with one of her daughters to help set up and make sure things were ready to go in the ballroom and with all our flowers. I really had no worry or need to stress that she wouldn't make things beautiful!

For a bride like me, knowing very little about flowers & planning a wedding while working crazy hours, Polly was the perfect match. Of course she first was asking what kinds of flowers I liked or some things I had in mind...but I really didn’t have much of an idea. She agreed to talk with me on a Sunday night (the only time that week I wasn’t working) and spent almost 2 hours talking with me, trying to determine what kind of “look” I was going for & helping with flower ideas for those items. She also brought up so many different flowers I had not even began thinking about (e.g. Marian devotion bouquet, “toss away” bouquet, etc) and created something so beautiful. Because I am so clueless in this area, Polly included very detailed descriptions of what she had come up with based on my ‘vision’ (which was very helpful for Google-ing all of the flowers I had never heard of).

Polly was nothing but helpful throughout the entire process & was incredibly easy to work with for a reasonable price as well. (She was able to lower the prices by doing little tricks without compromising quality – very impressive)! Polly was also very flexible and changed our drop-off location & time (2 hours earlier!) the day before our wedding! Our wedding was in the city on the weekend of a 33,000+ person conference so our flowers just barely got there in time, but that was likely due to circumstances out of their control & likely would not be a concern for future couples ☺. Overall, I would highly recommend Polly’s Petals & Particulars to any bride, but ESPECIALLY brides who aren’t exactly flower experts. Polly is very sweet, patient, knowledgable, understanding, & simply a joy to work with.

I loved working with Polly. I knew nothing about flowers but I still had a vision and she brought that vision to life. She also was able to qork with my small budget and made tweeks here and there when I requested it. I would definitely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

Polly was wonderful to work with. I met with several florists from the area and Polly was the only one who actually listened to what I wanted instead of telling me what to do.

Our initial meeting was efficient. I was in and out in 45 minutes and we covered everything. As a busy bride who had a million things to do, I highly appreciated this.

Polly was able to interpret my vision perfectly. She made sketches in our initial meeting to make sure we were on the same page creatively. She took everything I told her into consideration, and asked all the right questions. She thought of all the little things I didn't. She even made the boutonnieres for our ring bearers magnetic so they wouldn't hurt themselves!

Polly was able to work within my budget. She did not charge extra for delivery. Everything that she produced was quality, and all of my guests raved about my flowers. If I had to do it again, I would still choose Polly.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Polly!! From our first meeting, she was happy and enthusiastic and made us feel like we were the most important event she had (even though ours was very small)! She listened very well, asked lots of questions, to get at exactly what we were looking for in our wedding and reception flowers. She is very responsive, and reasonably priced -- and, what she delivered?! GORGEOUS. Stunning flowers, exactly as we had described, and everyone was commenting how beautiful they were. Her personal touches, such as requesting fabric from my dress to use to wrap the groom's boutonniere was creative and touching. We felt like we had a personal friend doing our flowers. Centerpieces and candles were just as gorgeous, full and lush! We wish we had more events where we needed flowers so we could work with Polly again and again!!

I reached out to Polly in a time of need: my sister (the bride) wanted flowers for the Bridal Shower I was throwing for her after all. It was roughly a month before the shower and this was the first time I had received this request.

With no knowledge of flowers whatsoever I looked to Polly to come up with the total package. What she was able to provide was beyond my expectations.

Her first question was the venue. We had hosted at a restaurant banquet hall and she instantly knew the ambiance. Based on the ambiance she was able to provide me her ideas for the venue and even show some photos to get a visual (since flower names were new to me).

My sister had asked that I purchase vases so the ladies at the shower could take the centerpieces home. When I communicated this to Polly she sent over an array of photos of vases that would work for the occasion. She made it very easy to find one that would work.

Polly made sure the arrangements were delivered right on time (working around personal events even!) and by the end of the night I had ladies asking if they could take the arrangements home before I even had a chance to make the announcement. Polly was a pleasure to work with and extremely flexible with both my budget and her resources. I would recommend her to anyone looking for something beautiful on their special day.

I needed a memorial bouquet with a Marine Corps theme. I contacted Polly's Petals and Particulars and explained what I was looking for and they made it happen. We were given a recommendation to contact Polly's Petals and Particulars. I should note that my aunt and uncle are florists, so I have high standards! We met with Polly at her office, and we knew right away that we wanted to work with her for our wedding. She is extremely professional, but also very easy to get along with. She went step by step, covering every aspect of the wedding and what we would want to consider for flowers and for decorative pieces. She showed us samples, gave suggestions (without being pushy), and her ideas were wonderful. My wife had some pretty specific things she wanted to do (ex., having some of our photos hung on small trees outside of the ballroom), and Polly always knew the best way to execute these. We were so happy with how everything turned out.

Polly's creatively definitely shined, and we still are getting comments on how great all of the arrangements were. We decided to have an arbor at the end of the walkway for our ceremony, and even though we saw some examples, we were amazed at how beautiful it was. My wife and I didn't know much about types of flowers, but just giving Polly a few general themes in our wedding, she was able to turn it around and make it something exquisite. We always had this image of how everything would look at our wedding, but on the actual wedding day, our expectations were drastically exceeded.

Polly was very accommodating in terms of our budget, and she took a lot of time to help us get exactly what we wanted. On the wedding day, Polly was there for us every step of the way. She even had an extra boutonnière for me after we took pictures because it was so hot outside, and she was coordinating with our other vendors to make sure everything was set up properly, and at the right time. If you are looking for someone to help you with flowers for your wedding (or any other event for that matter), you don't even need to think about it: Polly's Petals is the way to go.

Never in a Million years would we have thought we could have had such a magnificent display of floral arrangements. Polly worked SO well within our tight budget and was fantastic at giving us exactly what we wanted. She was professional, personable and most of all PHENOMENAL at her job. If anything I felt we underpaid for her services by a great factor, but then again her price range is what drew us to her. I could not recommend her services highly enough and would Give her 150 stars out of 5 if I could. The brides bouquet Utilized Purple and Yellow Flowers with a Silver decorative wire to compliment, If any bridal magazine would have photos of the bouquet, I'm positive that it would be featured on the cover of any of them. All in all, I would never use anyone other than Polly even if that meant driving across the country. I hope that my review may bring her your business, but I hope even more that I may make you consider her, your wedding will look so much better than you imagined with her taking part in it!

Working with Polly was such a pleasure. She initially met me and my daughter, the bride, at the venue to discuss flowers and decor and greeted us with a sample,of her work for ours to keep, which was thoughtful as well as smart to display her work and talent. She was able to fit the theme of my daughters flowers to the natural praire setting of the venue. Polly was also more than willing to work within our budget. Polly also put together a beautiful chuppah, a Jewish wedding canopy, combining her floral pieces and the canopy that was custom made for my daughter from my wedding dress by a friend. My friend and Polly coordinated this. The final result and final look of the venue the night of the wedding was spectacular. We couldn't have been more pleased. Without hesitation I will use Polly's Pedals and Particulars again as well as refer her to others.

Polly's Petals did not disappoint. I was in a real bind. My friend was supposed to do my flowers for my wedding, but ended up canceling 3 weeks before the wedding reception. We were married in Montego Bay, Jamaica one month prior so this was the reception for all our family and friends that couldn't make it to Jamaica. I emailed Polly with about 2 weeks before the reception. She was very responsive to my inquiry. She told me that she could do my wedding reception and sent me her vision based on the information I told her. She provided sample pictures and incorporated the major themes that were present in the reception room. We had a huge fountain and palm trees in our reception area so she really incorporated those aspects into her decor and flower arrangement. She delivered the flowers to my home. I failed to tell her we have a junior groomsman, just said groomsman. So the flower was a bit larger for him, she went downstairs and said she will be right back. She came back with a smaller version for him that looked great. Upon arrival to the reception, I was amazed at the amazing job she did with the room. All the guests were "Wowed" by the floral designs and still today I get compliments on my flowers. The floating candles as Polly mentioned would add ambiance to the room and they did. It was a perfect night. Polly incorporated everything I was looking for in flower and decor and delivered on everything she prepared. I would definitely reccommend using her to anyone who is looking for a florist with really creative and unique ideas.

I met Polly at an Expo that was held at my reception hall. When I saw her booth, I immediately knew she would be a great fit for my wedding! Everything from that point on was a dream; Polly was truly amazing. We met only twice (I live father south, and she was willing to drive to meet me halfway) and she was able to match everything I designed for my wedding and really make my vision come alive. She has wonderful ideas and added things that I had never heard of, but that matched exactly what I was looking for. Not only is she incredibly talented, friendly, and a dream to work with, she is also extremely competitively priced. I could not have been happier with the final product and with my entire experience. I am SO lucky to have met Polly and cannot possibly say enough good things about her! I was in tears when I first saw the reception room, and then again when I saw the bridesmaid bouquets. Everything was positively GORGEOUS!

Polly was amazing. Everything that she did for my wedding turned out great. I loved how personal she was and how she really took the time to understand what I wanted. She always made me feel like I was her priority and never made me feel bad for making changes throughout the way. She only does a few weddings a weekend, so she is really focused on your particular event. She took my thoughts and made it a reality. I loved that she really works within your budget and never tries to push you to spend more than you wanted to. Not only did she drop the flowers off at the boys house, the girls house, the church, and the reception hall, she also came back at the end of the night to clean it all up so that I would not have to worry about it, this was all included in her price.....not every place does this, and trust me at the end of your wedding day you do not want to have to clean up!! I decided on a "Bling/romantic" feel to my wedding, and she made it look beautiful without making the "bling" part look cheesy. I can not wait for the next time I need flowers because I will be using Polly. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to anyone looking for a florist. Thank you so much to Polly for making our wedding look beautiful! When I met with other special event florists, I had a specific image in mind (bright red gerbera daises everywhere) with a clean, contemporary look. Every other florist that I met with wanted to push me into a more traditional-look which was not my style at all. Polly not only understood my vision, but was able to use her professional experience to enhance it and make it look flawless. She was able to create pieces that not only met my vision, but also met our budget. On the day of, Polly went above and beyond my expectations. She stuck around to make sure that everything was perfect at both the ceremony and reception (even going back and forth between both sites multiple times!). The day of our wedding it was HOT and due to some AC issues in our limo, the floral foam in our bouquets actually started to melt. Since Polly was on hand, she was able to fix the bouquet issues quickly so that we still had perfect looking pictures. Thank you so much, Polly!

Polly is so fabulous!!! I had no idea where to start when it came to florists, let alone flowers! My mom's name is Polly which made it a little easier for me to narrow it down and make a decision! I was shocked to find out that you have to do a little bit of research on types of flowers before making an appt. I had 4 appts, and I learned a little more at each one about the types of purple and blue flowers. FYI - lisyanthis is the most gorgeous purple flower!!! I told Polly what I had in mind and she totally went with my vision. When I met with her at her house she had gone out of her way to save some flowers from a wedding she had just done to show me! It was such a special surprise, and it was great to see an example, it made me SO excited! I highly recommend Polly!! She is amazing to work with - delightful in emails, and quickly gets back to you. On the day of, I didn't see her that much. She had an assitant with her and I was out getting pictures, but when I came into the ceremony room it was picture perfect!! She kept it so clean and simple and classy for me. It was EXACTLY what i was looking for!!!

Polly was such an absolute joy to work with! Anyone looking for a florist who is knowledgeable, budget friendly, attentive, and accommodating will not be disappointed! When looking for a florist I was nervous as I had a picture of a bouquet I fell in love with online. I'm not the type of girl to lust after something and am generally laid back. The picture was so gorgeous though that I used it as my inspiration for planning my entire wedding so it really had a special place for me. It had blue dendrobium orchids, white roses and fuji mums in it. Our color scheme was lime (apple) green with cobalt blue which lent itself to be a concern keeping everything elegant but playful and modern. Polly listened to my concerned and pulled ideas from some of the pictures I gathered online. I loved how encouraging she was of out playful color scheme and wish to be different but elegant. She came up with some wonderful ideas of having 3 different styles of centerpieces to play off the room. I love how she thought about the entire space. She really took everything floating in my head and brought it to fruition with the knowledge only a professional would have. As for my bouquet, when I received it prior to going down the aisle I could have cried! It was gorgeous and looked exactly like the picture. I truly would not hesitate in working with Polly she is a gift in this crazy wedding world!

Our wedding was at the Illinois Beach Resort right on Lake Michigan, so we had decided to go with a laid back beach themed wedding. When I first met with Polly, she was so understanding of what I was looking for. I had given her the color scheme and wanted to incorporate beachy plants and flowers, as well as shells. She knew exactly what I wanted and created the most beautiful flowers! She had decorated the ceremony aisles and the arch so beautifully. My bouquet was amazing and way more than I had expected. She incorporated starfish and and muted green beachy plants with the ivory flowers. I got so many compliments about my bouquet and the reception centerpieces. I have had the flowers in my house now for about 2 weeks and they still look great! Polly was very easy to work with and didn't hesitate to make changes and she is very reasonably priced. I wouldn't have changed a thing!!!

We used Polly's services for my daughter's wedding and I can't say enough about how lovely everything turned out. At the first meeting she made it so easy for my daughter to visualize what things might look like and to offer suggestions and combinations. This made it so much easier for my daughter to make her choices with confidence. Prices were very competative and reasonable and she had everything ready and set up in plenty of time for the ceremony and reception. She is very personable and easy to work with. I highly recommend her. I know everyone will be happy with her work.

Polly was AMAZING when it came to picking out my flowers. I didn't know the names of several of the flowers that i wanted, but when i described them to her she was able to find them for me and show me the best way to put them together to make beautiful boquets. I chose some flowers she had in her example books and she also suggested additional special flowers that would match my wedding colors (blue and silver). I was able to have a wide variety of flowers in my boquet and then personalize each of my bridesmaids boquets to match their different color dresses, including some of the flowers from my boquet. Polly found a ribbon to match my dress wich wasn't an easy color to match, but it was perfect! She even added pearls and blue crystals to some of the more simple flowers to make by boquet sparkle and match the theme of my wedding too. She also put together the flowers the groomsmen wore, each guys matching the flowers in the bridesmaids boquets. The centerpiece she made in memory of my mother in law was also beautiful and my father in law was able to take it home and it has kept for weeks, he was so happy that Polly could help us include her in our special day by having her favorite color flower at their table. Overall i would recommend Polly to anyone needing a boquet or nice flower arrangement. She is extremely easy to work with, and the quality of her work is great!

Polly has the patience and talent of a saint and would not hesitate to use her services again. My fiance and I had picked out three colors for our wedding, hot pink, purple and blue. I didn't think we would be able to combine these three colors together without OVER doing something. Polly brought wonderful resources and great ideas to the table that allowed us to use all three colors and still have a reserved look that we wanted! Her knowledge of flowers also helped to stay within budget while still creating a romantic atmosphere. The girls loved their boquets and the reception hall looked amazing!

It was such a pleasure working with Polly for my son's wedding. From the first time we met with her until the day of the wedding, she was always kind, patient and professional. She listened to our ideas and came up with some fabulous ideas. There was a last minute change on the day of the wedding due to the weather and she was cool, calm and collected !!! She provided all of the flowers for the bridal party, centerpieces for the tables, an arrangement for the place card table and an arch and flowers for the outdoor ceremony. The bride likes bright colors and the arrangements Polly put together were absolutely beautiful !! We had so many wonderful comments about the flowers. When the time comes for my daughter to get married, Polly is the first person we will call !!!!

WOW!! Polly was the most key person in my wedding. I was all about decor and centerpieces and of course...floral! I could never imagine my wedding without her work. Super Talented and so so so elegant decor. I had a vision for our wedding and it was more than what i could have imagined!!! She was so willing to hear every thought that I had. Polly of Polly's Petals and Particulars was by far my favorite vendor!! I can't say enough great things. Of all the things to worry about on the wedding day, flowers were the one thing I was totally at ease with. I knew I could count on her. She was literally the nicest person to work with, and was so helpful in answering so many wedding questions floral and non-floral related (and I was someone with a lot of questions). She wrote back to my emails within one day - she is so amazingly thorough and has a great attention for detail. We met the first time in person about 10 months before the wedding to discuss our approach to the flower arrangements-- she took the image I had in my head and sketched it out and made it fit into my budget. We met again about 2 months before the wedding to do a trial - the trial was perfect--everything I wanted! She was flexible in making changes as the # in the bridal party/guest list changed. Another great thing -- her prices were outstanding. She gave us a package with more professionalism and more flowers for less money than her competitors. I was excited to see her and her work on the day of the wedding - it was amazing. I would recommend Polly to ANY bride!

Polly came recommended by my mother-in-law's colleague; we were very fortunate to have her as our florist. Throughout the always stressful wedding planning process, Polly was a constant source of calm, flexibility and professionalism. Quite simply, flowers were never a concern. We had a winter wedding, so Polly decorated the church utilizing mostly non-flower elements like pine cones. It looked extraordinary. Our guests commented on the uniqueness and beauty of the ceremony decorations.

The key to successful wedding planning is finding vendors who can turn your ideas into reality, and fill in the gaps where something falls short. For that, you need to be able to trust your vendor's professional experience. We worked closely with Polly on reception decorations, but also told her to make additions where she saw necessary; and, if some problem arose, to just make a decision so we were not bothered on our wedding day. Sure enough, Polly discovered while setting up for our reception that our centerpieces did not work as we had planned. Polly came up with an alternative, on the spot, that looked great. In addition, her decorative "gap fillers" accentuated the room. Thus, we were able to enjoy our day without being burdened by wedding minutiae - starting in a wonderfully decorated sanctuary and ending it pleasantly surprised by Polly's intimate reception decorations.

Polly is so nice to work with. First and foremost, she listens to your ideas and does her very best to carry them out. She offers suggestions when asked, but is never pushy and doesn't try to get you to order flowers that are not your style or ones that are beyond your budget. She is very professional and makes sure that every detail is taken care of. We are so pleased with her work. My daughter and son in law's wedding was at the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake. The wildflower theme in purples, greens, whites and yellows looked very elegant without being stuffy, and the table arrangements were so pretty and romantic. It was perfect for the setting. A moss-covered woodland arch which she decorated with fresh flowers was used for the ceremony and it made a lovely backdrop for the photos. The girls' and mothers' hand-tied bouquets were just stunning, and the cake topper looked wonderful! I just can't say enough about Polly's Petals & Particulars. I would not hesitate to use Polly for any of your floral needs. She's really sweet, too!

Polly is such a fantastic person to have on your wedding vendor list. She is very professional and enthusiastic! She attended our tablescape meeting with sample flowers, stayed throughout our ceremony to help move floral arrangements to where they needed to be and truly made our day special! Initially we had a meeting about my vision, budget and color scheme. Polly was great with asking questions, looking at pinterest images and really understanding my vision. Several days after the meeting, Polly created a plan and sent back a proposal with the budget. Everything sounded great, but the budget was higher than what I was able to afford. Polly reconfigured some of the arrangements while still keeping my vision and got the budget to where I needed it to be. Day of everything was so beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Polly was absolutely amazing to work with. I as well as my guests were completely blown away by her work. She pulled everything together from the table arrangements to the bouquets to the unity candle display. It was everything I ever could have wanted and more! When I first came to Polly I didn't know much about flowers or what I really wanted. But she worked with me and my theme/color scheme and walked me through the whole process of picking out which flowers I liked best by showing me pictures or arrangements she has done in the past. She was also willing to work with the budget I had. I essentially gave her a number I wanted to stay around and she got that to a tee. Thank you so much for everything Polly!

Polly went above and beyond my expectations. I provided her with a budget and a few simple ideas, and she turned my wedding venue into a magical extravaganza of eclectic floral arrangments and candles. She was fun to work with and took my simple ideas and made them spectacular. My bridesmaids' bouquets were the prettiest I have ever seen, and I actually thought one of them was mine when I first saw one. Polly was professional and was able to accommodate my schedule for our meetings. My guests still comment on how gorgeous the flowers were, and what beautiful colors they were. I did not know how much the flowers were going to set the tone to our wedding, but they did, and I am so greatful that I trusted Polly. She really created a memorable atmosphere.

Polly was kind, professional and helpful from the first time we met. Unlike other florists I spoke to, she was warm and genuine and seemed as excited about the wedding as I was :) Polly brought some great ideas to the table but remained receptive to what we were envisioning as well. She went above and beyond getting to bring the scent of lilacs to our wedding day, coordinating the table linens and making sure everything was placed where we wanted it. We couldn't be happier with service and end product Polly provided.

A friend recommended Polly for my wedding, and I'm so glad she did! I had a very limited floral budget, and the bulk of it was going to a wholesale flower market since my future mother-in-law was arranging all the table flowers herself. So I just needed a florist to do my bridal bouquet, three bouquets for my sisters, four boutonnieres, and a wrist corsage. I spoke with Polly on the phone about my needs and the colors I was envisioning (pale pinks), and she immediately understood what would work for my budget. I never saw sample flowers ahead of time (or even met Polly) because I trusted her judgment, and boy did she ever deliver!! My breath was taken away when I saw the bouquets for the first time on my wedding. They were absolutely stunning. I couldn't believe how incredible they looked and how well they complemented my sisters' different dresses. I really lucked out with Polly and would definitely recommend her to other brides looking for an incredible florist at an unbelievable price!
