Won't be disappointed!

We are so happy we booked Tony with Platinum DJ! He absolutely nailed our ceremony audio—three different songs plus a live performance—and everything sounded amazing. During the reception, he kept the party going and made sure the dance floor was packed from beginning to end. He was also so professional and adaptable; even when we were behind on cake cutting and speeches, he kept things moving effortlessly. Our guests had the best time, and so did we. Truly the perfect DJ!

Tony was amazing!!

Tony was just an absolute joy to work with. He is so full of joy- and he brought that energy throughout our entire wedding day. He executed our “vibe” for music perfectly, and we were all over the place with what we wanted- so that is really saying something! His timing on music, and special moments was perfect, and we had people on the dance floor until the absolute last second. We were so lucky to get to work with him!

Greatest Night of our Lives

As my wife and I learned over the course of the last year, the currency of trust is worth its weight in gold. For those of you in the midst of family meetings deciding what flowers you want, what table cloth fabric best matches the wedding color scheme, and who sits next to who (more like Game of Thrones), let us save you a good deal of time and effort when it comes to selecting a DJ.

Being a DJ is one part communication, two parts being a music connoisseur, and three parts being down for whatever. If we had to go back and replan an entire wedding (it gives me PTSD thinking about it), we would keep a few things the same; one of which is the DJ.

He was empathetic to our musical desires, kind to the older generation in the audience, and patient when we were slow to respond due to the undertaking of planning the entire event ourselves. It's fairly cliche to say, but it is also not an overstatement in the least, that DJ Apollo helped make our wedding reception the greatest night of our life. DJ Apollo (aka, Mike) had our trust from our first consultation to our final dance.

If you're reading this, DJ Apollo, I hope you know how much we appreciate you offering us your skillset that night. Thank you, man.

Platinum DJ review - DJ Apollo

We were soooo lucky to have DJ Apollo as our DJ for our wedding. During our meet and greets beforehand, he listened to our feedback on what music/vibe we wanted for our wedding and he simply exceeded our expectations. He provided good feedback and tips that we didn't even think of that helped elevate the wedding experience. Once wedding day started, he was very accommodating, supportive, and communicative with how the day was going to go. He also was an AMAZING MC, helped pumped up the crowd, provided announcements, and followed our timeline. We even had a lot of compliments from our guests about how good he was - one of them even wanted him to be a DJ for her wedding haha. DJ Apollo is an all-around great guy, he's attentive, experienced, and his priority is to make sure the couple and guests are having great time on newlyweds special day. Thank you again DJ Apollo for providing such an unforgettable experience! 10/10 would highly recommend.

Bilingual Wedding

Tony was a great addition to our wedding day! At our bilingual wedding, Tony did an amazing job of blending different genres and languages. He was able to read the room and had everybody up and dancing.

DJ Apollo is the best!!

We just got married this last weekend and DJ Apollo made it so fun!! Our dance floor was hopping and I was on the dance floor the entire night. DJ Apollo went out of his way to meet with us multiple times before our big day and he was very well prepared and structured. Mike, or DJ Apollo from Platinum DJ was incredible, he did an incredible job working to relieve any potential wedding stressors that he could not just the day of but the months leading up to our big day. Mike is very knowledgeable and experienced and that showed when it came to some of the things that he brought up that we had never thought about. Mike is also very personable which made it feel like we had someone who really cared about making our wedding day incredible. So if you’re looking for a DJ that is not just knowledgeable but also looks out for the best interest of you and your significant other on your wedding day Mike is the perfect DJ for you.

DJ Apollo is a must for your wedding!

My husband and I had DJ Apollo to emcee and DJ our wedding and I couldn't recommend him more!

We got to hear some of our favorite songs, guest suggestions, and some wedding classics! Everything blended so nicely and no one wanted to leave at the end of the night. He was a huge hit with our friends and family. My sister in law and her fiance want to have him for their wedding in the future!

Not only did he care about the music, but he also cared about us and made sure we were having fun, got a plate of dinner, and kept us at the top of his priorities!

We had a few things that we threw at him last minute that he took in stride and didn't miss a single beat!

If you hire DJ Apollo for you're wedding, invite me as well because I would love to go to another dance party with him mixing the tunes!

Mike \ DJ Apollo

Mike (DJ Apollo) handled our ceremony music support and reception at our wedding. He is simply awesome to work with and his skills are first rate. Beyond his expertise as a DJ - his attention to detail, availability, organization, planning, appearance and professionalism exceed the highest of expectations. To say he is personable, experienced and knows exactly what he's doing is an understatement.

Mike's planning process was extremely organized and detailed with plenty of opportunity to discuss and contribute our ideas and vision - which he used to create exactly what we imagined. He will quickly give you the confidence that you are being taken care of the same way he would for a friend or family member. My wife and I had great expectations for our special day, and Mike met them - making it look effortless. You can count on him to be just a phone call or a text away throughout the planning process. He is always responsive and makes time for whatever you need to be comfortable that he understands perfectly what you want and how to make it happen.

For those who are not easily impressed, Mike will deliver. He clearly loves what he does and goes the extra mile to do it well. We highly recommend him and can't imagine using anyone else if we have an opportunity in the future. Thank you so much, Mike!

Couldn’t ask for a better DJ - Mike Fosselman, DJ Apollo!

DJ Mike Apollo is a must have for your wedding. We got so many compliments on him as our DJ and he kept the dance floor going all night. The best part about working with Mike is his positive energy and his knowledge. I didn’t have a wedding planner and he really helped out with things like timeline, communicating with other vendors, types of music to play and when, etc. He gave us unique ideas for things we could do at our reception to add in some extra fun and humor. He was great at directing and moving our timeline along as well. I trusted everything he put his input on because it is very clear he is invested in our day going as smooth and positive as it can go - it was no question that he truly cared about us and our memory of our day! We never had to worry with Mike as our DJ - book him!!!

DJ Apollo was amazing. What a great night!

My wife and I came across Platinum DJ and were lucky enough to have DJ Apollo work our wedding. From the first meeting you could tell the level of passion he had for his job. He came with ideas and was open for suggestions when he needed to be. The day went off without a hitch and he kept the dance floor fun as the night went on. We had a smaller wedding so that could be harder to do. He involved our guest and kept us engaged with everyone. From the start of seeing my now wife walk down the aisle to the song we chose, all the way to the end when it was just her, myself, and Mike (Dj Apollo) he brought a level of professionalism mixed with personalization. I would recommend him 100 times over.

The best dj ever

Mike (DJ Apollo) was an incredible addition to our wedding day! He brought a positive energy to all of our meetings with him leading up to our wedding day and helped us get all of the details ironed out with ease. Mike was always asking if there was more he could do for us throughout the reception and he kept the party going all night. We had many friends and family tell us during the reception that this was the most fun they had at a wedding before, and Mike played a huge roll in that. The Dance Floor was packed the entire night and my wife and I never stopped dancing. We would HIGHLY recommend Mike to anyone looking for a DJ that knows how to have a good time!

10/10 Best DJ Kansas City has to offer

I very very rarely feel compelled to leave a review for any service that is provided to me. However Mike is hands down 100% the greatest DJ the KC area has to offer. He wasn't just a guy for music, and dancing. He handled everything you could possibly imagine and more.

Planning, timelines, flow, mood, music selection, I mean I could go on and on about how good Mike is. He absolutely made our wedding reception the best possible time for everyone.

Then to my amazement I realized out of no where my empty beer can was gone, and replaced with a new one. Mike just looks at me and gives me a thumbs up. Like who is this man, and how is he not the only DJ in KC?

This dude needs booked somewhere every weekend, people need to experience what we did at our reception. I don't care what we have planned in the future, Mike is getting a call from us.

His attitude, voice, presence, and professional nature puts him leaps and bounds above any other DJ I have ever interacted with. Our reception wouldn't have been nearly as good if we weren't blessed to have him honor us with his craft.

Wedding Reception

Tony Sierra was the DJ for our wedding reception! He did an amazing job!!! We needed someone who could speak both English and Spanish and Tony incorporated both smoothly! Above and Beyond!

Brad was our DJ with Platinum DJ KC and he went above and beyond to make our reception incredible. Not only did he help us out with mixes for our first dance and the father daughter dance, but he was so helpful in the planning process and was flexible when we had to make some last minute changes due to COVID travel restriction. He kept everyone on the dance floor until the last song and we had such a great time!!

Amazing Party thanks to an Amazing DJ!

Doug hands-down made our wedding the party we hoped it would be. People are still talking about what a great wedding it was and they all, without question, mention Doug. He kept the dance floor packed and poppin' from first dance to the last song of the night when we had to close the party down! Jordan was so awesome for our wedding. He was super helpful and flexible prior to the wedding. He showed up early and stayed late to help clean up on the day of the wedding. World-Class

My wife and I had our wedding at the end of May 2021 and we were lucky enough to get DJ Apollo with our package from Platinum DJ. Our special day was PERFECT from start to finish and DJ Apollo (Mike) played a huge part in making our dream wedding a reality. We met with Mike twice before the event and he made sure we were taken care of for all the time in between. Mike was quick to respond to questions, organized with a day-of timeline, on-point with the tunes, and an absolute champion of making sure we had exactly what we wanted with a killer party. We played games during the reception such as the shoe game and music bingo and Mike did an excellent job of transitioning between each item on the agenda. Another thing that needs to be said is that Mike is just an all-around great guy. You can tell as soon as you meet him that he is kind, genuine, and knowledgeable of his craft. He is an expert at what he does but he also goes the extra mile by getting you whatever you need on your big day. Behind the scenes, Alex and the rest of the Platinum DJ team were the perfect support for all our requests. I cannot imagine any way our night could have been more fun. I would highly recommend Platinum DJ and DJ Apollo to anyone who wants world-class service and peace of mind for their event.

We had Lewis as our DJ and he absolutely KILLED IT! Had people on the dance floor from the moment we finished our first, father/daughter, and mother/son dances. He also was amazing at corralling our bridal party of 20 people to make sure they were where they needed to be! Mike (DJ Apollo) was absolutely amazing and made out wedding everything we imagined. From the very first meet and greet to the end of our reception Mike was professional and did everything we asked of him and more. He made the stress of picking the right music and genres to play at certain times during the reception so easy and put our minds at ease. It was easy to see that he knows what he is doing and has been in the DJ profession for many years. At times we couldn't tell if he was the DJ or a server because he was grabbing drinks for us ( the wedding party) so we didn't have to wait in line and could enjoy or friends and the party. I have recommended Mike (DJ Apollo) to all my friends and family for any event or their wedding and won't hesitate to use him again in the future. Amazing Customer Experience

I have always believed that the DJ absolutely makes the party - and this proved true for our wedding! Mike (DJ Apollo) was effortlessly kind, meticulously organized, and extremely professional. Immediately, I identified him as someone who I knew wouldn't forget a thing, because he truly cares. His energy is SO refreshing, and he kept our reception party moving along so smoothly. We got so many compliments on him from guests, even weeks after our wedding. Platinum is so easy to work with; Alex made sure I had everything I needed and she was a true professional throughout the entire process. I would hire Platinum again in a heartbeat. So thankful!

Stress free!

We were lucky enough to score Mike (Dj Apollo) from platinum Dj for our wedding. Our first time meeting Mike there was a weight lifted off our chest, because from our first interaction with him we knew he was gonna take care of us! He made our day go so smoothly with seamless transitions. His communication before the wedding was spectacular, we would get updates from him every couple days checking in and making any changes we wanted. If all the Dj’s at platinum are like Mike I would recommend them to anyone!

Brad was a wonderful DJ!

We had hired Platinum DJ for our daughter Kayla’s wedding and Brad was our DJ for the night. Brad did an awesome job and made everyone feel comfortable plus engaged! He was punctual, professional and just plain perfect!
The music Brad played got us all on the dance floor, Kayla and Nick were especially happy with the selection of music because Brad got to know their likes and dislikes beforehand so the music was tailored to their event!

Speechless; Unmatched Quality

Platinum DJ was fantastic to work with. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19, and they were extremely flexible with us and very responsive. Also, special shout out to Jordan, our amazing DJ, who spun the best songs and kept the dance floor bumping the entire night. He was very accommodating with our special requests, and did a great job keeping our reception on track. I would suggest Platinum DJ for anyone looking for a qualified DJ.

Above & Beyond!

Platinum DJ went above and beyond to make our wedding special with all the COVID-19 nonsense! Lewis is an amazing DJ and guided us through our wedding and reception timeline since it was going to look a little different! He came early and even stayed late to help with a little bit of clean up! He played off of our Spotify playlist and even helped my sister with some fun trivia music since we couldn’t have a dance party! The staff is very responsive and willing to help in any way they can! Their platform to enter your timeline was user friendly and simple! We would recommend this company for sure! They helped keep my stress level down!

Kevin t is the best dj!

My husband and I got married on June 14, 2019 in Kansas City! We had our reception at 28 Event Space. They suggested going through their DJ recommendation, which was Platinum KC, and we went for it! Soon after, we had a FaceTime meeting (super flexible!) with Katie and she asked us a series of questions. By doing this, they can then match us up with a DJ they think fit our needs! We were lucky enough to be paired with Kevin T... he was INCREDIBLE! We had many planning meetings and phone calls with him. On the actual day, he BROUGHT his best. We had so many compliments on our music and on him!!! The best part was, as hectic as the reception is, he made sure my husband and I had time to eat dinner, even if that meant him just sitting in front of us "working" to make it seem like we were busy :)

These DJ's are amazing

Platinum is more than just a DJ service really - they walked through the entire evenings events with us, checking time frames, making sure songs were just right, providing options for other songs. We were so happy that they kept us on schedule, even offered to grab us drinks so we didn't have to be trying to get through the bar line. They were truly great to work with.

Doug did a perfect job at our reception!! He was flexible with our song requests, did a great job with the lighting effects, and kept the party going even when our party went over time! Stop your DJ search right now and book these guys! For my groom and I a great DJ was our top priority and Platinum more than delivered. Ryan was so invested in making sure everything went EXACTLY how we wanted. He managed the flow of our day flawlessly and was great about checking in with us throughout the night. Ryan kept our dance floor completely packed for 3 straight hours and I danced the bustle clips completely off of my dress. Our friends and family have raved about how incredibly fun our wedding and we have Ryan and Platinum to thank!

P.S. If you book a Heritage Event space the uplighting is definitely worth it.

Platinum KC is awesome! They're extremely professional, fun and so on top of it; from signing the contract to day of. Kyle Kurtz was the DJ for our wedding reception on June 10, 2017 and we couldn't have been more pleased with choosing him. He was on time, everything was set up clean and organized and everything went absolutely smoothly from introducing the wedding party, to toasts, the slideshow we had put together, speeches, open dancing, etc. Platinum KC also provided lighting, which was great and an added bonus. Thanks so much for everything. I would hire them again for any big event or party we hold! Worth every penny!

We got the opportunity to work with Platinum KC on 10/15/16. We had our wedding at New Life City Church and our reception at the Monarch Room. Throughout the planning process our reception was one of the biggest concerns because that is what your guests remember the most - if they had fun or not. Thanks to Platinum KC and our DJ, Kyle, the ceremony and the reception exceeded our expectations. We HIGHLY recommend Platinum KC!

Everyone that we met with made the whole process, from the beginning to the end, effortless for us. In the beginning, Kris met with us at the studio to show us in person everything that Platinum had to offer to make our day come together. Ryan was very communicative and very responsive throughout the planning process and willing to answer any and all of my questions. Our DJ, Kyle, also was willing to meet with us and talk about our vision for the day. Kyle was very communicative, responsive, personable and open to all of my ideas! He met all of my expectations and more!

If I ever have to use a DJ company again, I would pick Platinum KC, every time. Simply put, they were AMAZING to work with!

Platinum Productions helped us throw our ideal wedding reception. Kyle was an extremely personable DJ who listened to our requests and did an amazing job as MC of the reception. We worked with at Platinum KC on 8.27.16 and had the reception at the Monarch Room and we could not have asked for a better reception and that was largely in part thanks to Platinum KC.

Everyone that we met with made the whole process from the beginning to the end effortless for us. I cannot rave enough about the amazing lighting that was done at the venue, we had a GOBO which looked great, and the slideshow was a perfect addition to the night! We had Justin as our DJ and he did an amazing job and kept the party going all night from start to finish. It all came together with all of the additions to make one unforgettable night and it exceeded our expectations! KC Productions definitely know how to throw a party and I am glad we had the opportunity to work with them.

We had to use them because of the venue we chose, which at first I wasn't sure about - but let me tell you it was a blessing in disguise because it made the night amazing and I am so glad that was the case. If I could I would redo it all over again :)

We had to use Platinum KC because of the venue we chose (Heritage Hall) and I was a little annoyed at first because it was much pricier than other DJs we talked to. However, it was WELL worth the money! Our DJ (Jake) was absolutely amazing and made our reception a complete blast! He basically planned the entire timeline for the reception, kept everything on track and everyone interested and appealed to all ages! We had a ton of people on the dance floor from the moment the dance floor was open until we had to shut it down for the night! I got SO many compliments on how much fun our reception was and everyone there had a blast. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Platinum Productions was by far the best Vendor that we worked with during our wedding planning process. They were very detailed and allowed much flexibility to the couple. My now husband and I never felt pressured to do anything that we weren't comfortable with. Our DJ, Ryan Dahm was FANTASTIC. He worked with use to create a schedule that we were happy with and accommodated the time we had with our photographer. He did a very good job reading the crowd and matching music. I had sooo many people come up to me and my husband saying that it was one of the most fun weddings that they had been to. We had an early reception, which we thought people would tire out early and end the reception early, but people were having so much fun on the dance floor that the party went all night. I Never had to worry about a thing during the reception because Ryan kept everything organized and smooth. Thanks Platinum... your the best!

Ryan R. was our DJ for our wedding reception and he was so great- request him if you can! He is very personable and will set up a meeting with you to plan everything prior to your event. He is also really easy to get in touch with via email- he responds so quick! He kept the party going all night at our reception- the dance floor was always full. Platinum is a very professional, up-to-date & modern DJ company. We also got uplights and rented chivari chairs from them as well. They were worth every penny we spent, and gave us exactly what we envisioned for our wedding reception DJ! Ryan Dahm was our DJ, who couldn't have been more wonderful to work with! Kyle from Platinum KC was the DJ for our reception and we were blown away at how great of a job he did. I'm a big music person and have actually put together playlists for other friend's wedding and so I was going be very involved in the music selection. However, after we met with Kyle (before the wedding), I felt completely comfortable with his ability to keep the dance party going and didn't even bother with making suggestions...and when the reception came, he didn't disappoint. We had so much fun at our reception and I don't think it could have been any better.

My husband and I were so incredibly pleased with our DJ, Ryan Dahm!!! From the moment we arrived to the reception he was helpful and engaged the crowd! From the moment the first dances were over and the dance floor was open it was PACKED! He did such an amazing job. The dance floor was never even close to empty until after our reception was supposed to end. Many of our guests complemented the night saying it was the best wedding they'd been to in years...huge thanks to Ryan and Platinum KC! He goes above and beyond being a DJ! The DJ was the most important vendor on my wedding list, because in so many ways the DJ sets the tone and controls the of the experience of the evening. DJ Ryan Dahm and Platinum KC blew my expectations out of the water! From the start with the personal meetings, to quick follow up emails and phone calls, these guys were on it and willing to make it happen for us. DJ Ryan Dahm went beyond spinning the beats for our wedding, he was a SUPER STAR, His attitude and communication was exceptional. He was a joy and the wedding would not have been what it was without him! DJ Ryan Dahm worked with Platinum KC to make what was a complex musical ceremony seem simple and responded to all my request with a "we'll figure it out." DJ Ryan Dahm thought of important logistics that I didn't think of and helped us have a smooth reception. He even made sure my MOH had a glass of champagne for her toast! My guests complimented our wedding as the most fun they ever had and the best dance party they've ever attended! The bartenders commented on the lack of drinks being served, because everyone seemed to be dancing! Beyond the beats, Platinum KC provided beautiful down lights to match our wedding colors and as the night progressed, more and more fun lighting appeared and changed the atmosphere into the best dance floor ever. We are so grateful and though we don't want a second wedding, we want a second dance party with DJ Ryan Dahm and Platinum KC!

Platinum KC did the music at our wedding and did an amazing job! Kyle Kurtz was our DJ and he was so fun and easy to work with! Prior to the wedding Kyle spoke with us about our wedding day timeline, plans, etc., and answered all questions we had. He did a fantastic job at the wedding (both ceremony and reception) by keeping us to our timeline during the scheduled events of the evening, and once the open dance started he did an incredible job of mixing songs (including all of our requests), and making sure their were no awkward pauses between songs. From the time he started the music until the time they kicked us out everyone was having a blast and the dance floor was alive! We had so many compliments about how much fun our guests had and I know the music was a huge part of that! We would recommend Kyle and Plantinum KC to everyone!

I'm the father of the bride and my daughter found the DJ. Having been to alot of weddings in my day I knew that the DJ will be the difference of whether the guest have a really fun time or if there are lots of times when the party drags. Kyle Kurtz with Platinum KC was excellent and I highly recommend him. He was alot of fun, played a big variation of music (different eras) but always kept the dance floor full. It was alot of fun!

Ryan was organized and professional, but never lost sight of the fact that his job was to keep the fun going. He was responsive to texts & emails, kept the dance floor jumping, and made sure the bride and groom were always able to relax and enjoy themselves. If you have a wedding in KC, use Platinum and ask for Ryan (although I'm sure all their other DJs are really great too).

Our DJ, Ryan, made our wedding reception an absolute blast! The dance floor was packed the entire night. He and the rest of the company were so easy to work with. They knew exactly what we wanted at our reception and delivered beyond expectations! This was the best investment of my wedding!!

We used Platinum for our DJ service and were very very impressed. Our DJ was Ryan and he was fantastic. He kept us on track with the schedule without being pushy. They played exactly what we wanted and people were dancing all night long. They helped make our party a real celebration that we will always remember. We also set up the photobooth with platinum and was very pleased. Loved looking back at the photobooth album of pictures of all our goofy friends.

Platinum KC and our DJ Sergei did an AMAZING job at our wedding! The dance floor was packed all night and we received so many comments on how good the music/DJ was. The flow of the evening went very smoothly thanks to Sergei. He was very professional in handling any surprises that came his way during the event. He was very quick in responding to emails and answering any questions that we had. He was accommodating with any special requests we had. This company is amazing! Our DJ, Ryan, didn't just show up and play music. He directed the entire event. Wedding planning is very stressful and Ryan met with us before the wedding and planned the entire reception basically. We had no program and weren't sure how we wanted it to flow. Ryan helped us figure out the best way to make a smooth transition from ceremony to cake cutting to first dance, etc.. He directed our guests through each part so that everything flowed smoothly and noone was wandering around wondering what to do. Without Ryan, I don't think our guests would have enjoyed themselves as much as they did and I would have been too stressed to enjoy the most beautiful day of my life. The services aren't cheap but if you think about how much stress they remove from planning and executing a wedding, it's well worth the money.

We had an absolutely perfect wedding & we can attribute that largely to Platinum KC & our DJ, Jonathan Hart. We were blown away by how they handled our itinerary very seriously - incredible value here because they not only acted as our DJ, emcee & lighting specialists but also filled the role of day-of wedding coordinator. From the day we sat down & had a beer with Jonathan at Platinum KC to plan our day, we were confident we would be completely taken care. They were total professionals when it came to hearing & fulfilling exactly what we wanted & they were early to be all set-up for the wedding day. Jonathan introduced himself to everyone in our wedding party & our families to confirm the names for announcements, he checked in with us as needed during the reception to make suggestions to tweak the itinerary. He used his prior experience to help everything flow smoothly without any stress. What completely blew us away was when he learned my husband & I hadn’t gotten a chance to eat dinner yet. He took it upon himself to coordinate with the catering staff to prepare a plate for each of us which was taken to a private place & told us to go eat & when to be back & everything stayed right on track - A++ job. In preparation, Jonathan was diligent in getting to know our music style so he was completely successful in getting tons of people on the dance floor the whole night. He also handled playing our music for the ceremony & that went without a hitch & also provided a mic for the officiant. For the reception, we noticed that if a song wasn’t quite perfect, he would switch it out right away. Needless to say, we had a raging PARTY & so many of our friends and family told us how much fun they had. The lighting was perfect & just how we pictured it. Nothing but a 5 star review here & we’d refer someone to Platinum KC & Jonathan Hart any day! Choosing Platinum KC to DJ our wedding was the very best decision out everything we had to choose for the day. THANK YOU!!

We had a wonerful experience with Platinum KC and the DJ Services they provided. We met with Kyle about a month before the wedding and he was amazing. He talked us through every aspect of our reception from the DJ's point of view, answered any questions we had and made the experience fun and easy. He also did a tremendous job the night of the wedding by helping us seamlessly transition from "event to event" and once the dance floor was open he did an incredible job of mixing songs and making sure their was no gaps in between songs, which kept everyone out on the dance floor all night! Would highly recommend Kyle and Plantinum KC to everyone!

I was beyond pleased with this company as a whole! They were all very easy to work with and were very quick to respond to calls and emails! They really took care of my husband, myself, and our whole wedding party. The night ran so smoothly and the dance floor was packed the entire night! I had a hard time leaving the dance floor to greet the guests because every song that came on was perfect for our party. I would recommend them to anyone looking for any amazing night! I never had to worry about a thing and was able to enjoy myself without a care in the world!
We were lucky enough to have Ryan Dahm as our DJ for the night, and he made us feel so special and acted both as DJ and coordinator for our night. Everything was timed out perfectly and he kept everyone on track for where they needed to be and when they needed to be ready (i.e. toasts, dances, garter toss). He even made sure the wedding party had drinks and did refills for us if needed. Many guests have complimented his work as well!

I went all out with Platinum Productions and received the down lighting, Unlimited Spin Time services, the slideshow and the photobooth. Though it was a little pricey, it was worth every dime as I believe the DJ truly makes or breaks a reception.

I worked with Jonathan Hart as our DJ and he was nothing but the highest professional quality a bride can receive. He helped us create an "agenda" for the photographer and was super flexible the day of (including calming the bride down when she thought she left her phone on the party bus!). The dance floor was never empty and was constantly hopping with a variety of songs from our playlist. All of our guests we talked with complimented him and his awesome variety of music.

As I said, though the sticker may be a lot, the quality of services that are offered were so worth it. If you're looking for a good time at a reception, I highly recommend going with Platinum Productions, specifically Jonathan!

Platinum KC did an amazing job at our wedding reception. Ryan was our DJ and he was very professional and easy to work with. He was flexible in setting up meetings and willing to meet all of our requests to make our wedding reception exactly as we envisioned. He made the whole night flow well and kept us on track (ex: cutting the cake, making toasts, dances). He also picked great music to get the guests on the dance floor immediately and kept the party going all the way until the end! I would highly recommend Ryan and Platinum KC to anyone looking for a stress-free and fun DJ experience for their wedding reception!

Platinum KC is an AMAZING company to work with for a wedding reception! Our DJ, Jonathan, was a complete blast to work with. He was very quick in response to emails. He even put up with my last minute song requests! The lighting and dance floor area of the reception were stunning and beautiful, along with the monogram (everyone loved seeing that on the dance floor!) During the reception, he checked in on my now husband and I multiple times to see if there was a song we wanted played, which I thought was so thoughtful. The dance floor was packed the entire night! I had to choose this DJ due to an agreement between them and my venue of choice (Armour Loft) and initially, I was a little concerned because their DJ service seemed a bit pricey to me. However, now that it's all said and done, I will not choose another DJ Service for my future events. Honestly, Ryan Dahm was unbelievable and I knew that he would be great from the first time that my fiancé and I met with him. Before the event he said "My job is to make sure you guys are happy" and that is exactly what he did. Throughout the event he would look over at us and just make sure that everything was running smoothly and that we were having a great time. A few hours before the event, we were trying to find my dad for photos and I was panicking a little (as you'd expect just moment before walking down the aisle) and Ryan left to go find my dad. He did a lot of little things like that throughout the night that were above and beyond what I would expect from any DJ. Also, I emailed and called Platinum Productions a few times leading up to the big day and every single person that I spoke to was very nice and professional. Seriously, If you're on the fence or even if you think that they are way outside of your budget, I would urge to you consider Platiunum Productions. A DJ will make or break your party and this DJ will make sure that your event is a huge success!!

When we got engaged we knew this was going to be alot of work picking out everything to make the perfect day. We found the perfect venue that was about a mile from our home Heritage Hall. They only work with Platinum Productions. Once we contacted them they were so nice and very attentive to our needs and what we wanted to make this day perfect. The day of, Ryan R was our DJ and he was SO great! Him and my sister had a Maid of Honor speech all planned out and Ryan never once gave me any indication that it was going to happen. I was so surprised :) Ryan had fun with us on the day of that was important to me. I would highly recommend Platinum Productions to anyone who needs a DJ service. It is expensive but worth the money! Thank you Ryan for making the music part of our day perfect. Also, the game that we played instead of the dollar dance was so much fun. People i did not think would join in had a blast!

Platinum Productions has an exclusive contract with the venue we chose, Black on Burlington. However, this proved to be a good thing as far as we were concerned. They have all the latest state of the art equipment already set and available for our use, and we knew what we could expect and had to work with, right up front. Not only that, but because my venue and DJ know each other's operations so well, they operate almost seamlessly. I could ask either one of them something and between the two of them it was easy to get what we needed handled.

I was very impressed with our DJ, Matt. When we first met, he had very helpful suggestions for songs that we hadn't yet chosen, but he also suggested a game to us that we could use in lieu of the dollar dance. This game ended up being a HUGE hit that night and had all our guests talking long after. Additionally, he was very responsive any time we provided him with feedback about music throughout the evening, and I had several comments from our guests about what a good mix of music he played. I would definitely recommend this vendor, they are awesome!

I cannot say enough nice things about these guys. Starting from the day we booked with them, they have been so flexible. Closer to the date, we went in and met with our DJ Jonathan Hart and came up with a final plan of what we needed and they treated us with a lot of professionalism and listened to what we needed. We wanted some Indian music at our wedding as well and Jonathan Hart(our DJ) took the time to listen to the music before hand and weaved it in with the other music beautifully. On the day he was not just our DJ, he was more of an event planner and made sure we stuck to our timeline and things went as planned. He was so relaxed and easy going. Once the dance floor opened, we had people on the dance floor in less than a few seconds and the party didn't stop till we had to leave :) We also wanted to incorporate some of our favorite drinking games which happened perfectly. We highly recommend them!

We had Ryan as our DJ. He went above and beyond to help us choose songs that fit the mood of the wedding. He met with me personally multiple times and had a lot of helpful feedback as far as the order of things (it was my first rodeo). He was very helpful and had an awesome attitude through everything. He even helped me make a wedding mix of songs that took a hot minute- with no complaints and was awesome about meeting me at my convenience and crazy schedule. He was very awesome about contacting me back and answering any and all questions I asked. We all had a great night and he did an outstanding job making everyone happy with song requests and kept the party entertained all night with games! Very exciting. Ryan helped set the tone of our reception and ceremony perfectly. We had a full dance floor all night! Wouldn't use any other DJ! You guys did great! Thank you so much for everything!

From lighting to music to rentals, there's a reason these guys are THE exclusive DJ's at different venues around the KC Metro area. Lucky for us one of those venues happened to be our reception space at the Armour Loft. Matt was our DJ for the evening and I can't tell you how many guests thoroughly enjoyed him, the music and "The Game". Kris, the owner, was helpful, insightful and a quick responder to my numerous emails. These guys will not let you down, true professionals who know how to have a good time!

Platinum KC and our DJ Kyle made our wedding reception! Kyle not only was responsive to every email, text or phone call within a reasonable time, he made my wife and I truly feel that we were the most important wedding happening that day! Make sure to ask to play "The Game" instead of doing the dollar dance. Both you and your guests will have a blast playing it!! I truly cannot say enough good things. The sound equipment, lighting, and general atmosphere was amazing! I even told our DJ Kyle that if i were to ever need a DJ again, I'd be calling him!! THANKS PLATINUM KC and THANK YOU KYLE!!!!

We had Platinum Productions DJ our wedding and they were fantastic! We had friends recommend Andrew as our DJ and he seriously made our reception so engaging and fun for us and our guests! Not to mention he got my husband and I drinks from the bar as soon as we arrived AND held my plate for me as I went through our buffet line! So nice, professional, and incredibly fun! Ryan R. from Platinum Productions was the DJ for our wedding and he was wonderful. We expressed to him when we met before the wedding that what we really wanted was for him to keep everyone on the dance floor during the night and he did just that. The dance floor was full the entire night and everyone had a blast. I had several guests comment on how quick he was to play their requested songs and what a great DJ we had. He was very nice and easy to work with and both my husband and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

From the first time we spoke to Sergei, he was extremely professional, attentive, and engaged. These qualities are so valuable and appreciated while planning a wedding since you are being pulled in a million different directions. We never once worried about whether or not Sergei would deliver on what we hired him to do. As a matter of fact, he exceeded our expectations with everything from the lighting to keeping the flow of the evening going as it should have. Our guests didn't want to leave the dance floor and this speaks to how well Sergei knows his audience. He did a great job at balancing our music tastes with our guests' requests. If we could do it all over again, we would absolutely have Sergei be our DJ!
